just for fun this time during 'sea of blood' I counted out all the venatori corpses I think we can be pretty sure were lucanis' handiwork before we show up (not including the ones he kills in his initial cutscene, and with an assumption that he's been at work mainly up and down in the areas we move through until we find him, not behind the locked door -- I think that's mostly the work of rampaging undead and other venatori-hoisted-by-their-own-petard suchlikes). can thus happily inform you lucanis has killed at least 32 venatori before rook and company get there. at least one of them he's impaled on their own weird crystal spike things the venatori mages cast as an AOE attack and that they're trying to keep him contained with when we find him. so he's clearly been keeping busy lol. that's my boy dispensing poetic justice and claiming some enrichment in his enclosure while he's at it good for him!

Tiny Primes AU

So we know as a fact that in IDW comic late, pre-war primes were bearing a fake matrix. So it of course had no right to do any magical reformatting for them, one we know primes going through in TFOne for example. But what if a real matrix also wouldn't be able to do that? What if everyone believes it is, because primes are bigger then average cybertronian, and bigger than they were before getting the matrix, and becaouse of course the mystical power of the essence of Primus himself would do that for you? That's pretty much how I came up with tiny primes au. Imagine that all of primes, fake or not were just. given an armor not so different from the Magnus Armor. If we want to make it more accurate we can assume it's possible bc matrix strenghten your spark or whatever and makes you a loadbearer or we can just. Ignore the fact that you should be a loadbearer to wear such armor. All of the primes were just minibots in bigass armors imagine. Ofc Optimus in this AU is one also. As Orion Pax he was an archivist, looking probably a lot like Revind. And he still does. Underneath the Prime Armor, secretly. Idk I just thought it would be silly. Imagine there is still a Magnus Armor and so Minimus in this AU but Optimus doesn't know about it. And Optimus and Magnus sit next to each other both being like "HE DOESN'T KNOW IM A MINIBOT".

Ratchet would of course know this as medic of primes and also Optimus' close friend. And oh god I just imagine him arguing with Drift about some spiritual topic and he just has to hold himself so much to not spill the tea casually.

I thought it would be interesting for the matrix to have way less physical impact on its bearer, for it's power to be constructed in this aspect too. IDW makes you think about this specifically as the topic of sacricy of the primes is questioned a lot in Optimus Prime comics for example. So if this impact on the bearers that we know from different continuities was reproduced in this one, but always artificial, faked, I think it would be kinda fitting this vibe.

Apparently the timelapse between the end of Origins and the beginning of Awakening is 6 months and I am so upset that the honeymoon travel between Zevana was cut short! THEY DESERVE LONGER. Traveling as Milana did in the year facing the Blight was the most of the outside world she's seen considering her entire life was within the confines of the Alienage and parts of Denerim. Now with the threat of an Archdemon gone, I imagine her and Zev went traveling abroad towards the Free Marches and Antiva City (perhaps even a bit of Orlais? hmm, not sure tho) I think Zev was delighted to show her his city but also lmao so very dangerous of them to do so - but who are they if they aren't finding the thrill in a bit of danger anyways :3c I'm sure at some point though an assassination attempt may have been too close of a call in Antiva to their liking. Duties called her back to Ferelden anyways and Zevran assumed it was time to finally stop running and actually go after the Crows, as noted in this letter. Afterall, now he has a life of his own and a love worth fighting for. 🫶 I always think back to that line when he mentioned the fortune teller in the whorehouse he grew up in told him he would live a long life (much to her surprise) and for as long as he's been an assassin and the years ahead for them both.... SIGHS LOVINGLY. CHIN HANDS. KICKS MY FEET. It's what he DESERVES!!!! Now if only we can find the cure to the Calling for Milana huh...
