forreal tho the whole Point of durarara as a work of art is thhat nobody is wholly good (obviously) OR wholly bad, people are complicated and their relationships with each other and the world are complicated as well

izaya as the closest thing to an antagonist the series has, ALSO serves as mikado's foil- he's the bad end to mikado's story, explicitly becoming that way because he had no true friends- shinra only cared about celty and his parents were never around and thats kind of all he had. he was a young boy with clear mental problems, to the point where his father instilled that people love into him in order to prevent a worse outcome and help him be more normal. the way this is framed, as a young boy exhibiting a concerning disconnect from other people to a point where it scares a usually neglectful father into acting- is very reminiscent of media depictions (and real life examples) of parents worrying that their child is a sociopath. this could very well have been intentional, and narita EXPLICITLY makes a POINT to state that izaya is the way that he is because he has a fragile heart- any sort of genuine effection and a betrayal of it could shatter him. i really dont think the takeaway here was "lolllll hes suchhh a loser" OR "omggg hes so scary hes iredeemable." it's another piece of the central theme that humans are nuanced and messy and conplicated and oftentimes in very unglamorous ways that make them unsympathetic to most people. durarara AS A SHOW is about shining a light onto these people and inviting the viewer to sympathize with them, and if someone doesnt get that and is just disgusted by most of the characters then durarara is not the show for them

also vis a vis izaya and mikado being foils- the reason mikado got a happy ending was because of his friends- because of the connections he has with other people. izaya did not have those connections, hence his own instability drove him farther and farther down into a death spiral that culminated in his CRIPPLING, a major loss of freedom from someone who valued it so much, and i'm saying that as a disabled person

I just finished watching HOTD and I have sm thoughts rumbling inside my head and I’m going to try my best to get them out in a way that makes sense

HOTD 2.07 Spoilers Ahead

- The ending of this episode saved it sm omggg. And please I understand why these side characters need this story building. Esp Daemon, I think we as viewers have been robbed in a lot of ways of seeing Daemon as a multi dimensional emotional character. However, this is why shows need to go back to 24 episode seasons. When there’s only 10 episodes before we lose these characters for two years I wanna see more action and not so much story building.

- The scene with Jace, my bbg 😖🫣🫠. I loved that scene bc it shows that Jace is insecure. He realizes what people say abt him and in some ways he probably believes it as well. Bc even if he has “plain” features the thing that separated him from the small folk was his claim to a dragon. Now that the small folk can claim dragons it’s like he is one of them. And I understand those frustrations (if we had 24 episode seasons 🙄) I would’ve loved to see wherever he went and have like a private moment amongst himself or even with Baela

- Daemon, Daemon, Daemon 😭😭. I’m sorry but him tripping acid in Harenhal is so genuinely funny to me. In seriousness tho we stan Oscar Tully cuz we love seeing Daemon humbled. The way he was able to spin the situation and make Daemon the uncomfortable one? Yeah you ate down mama

- The scenes with Matt and Paddy are just so good their chemistry off the charts. And the fact it was Paddy’s suggestion to do the scene as decrepit Viserys makes it even better bc it’s Viserys telling Daemon here the crown is yours, you’ve always wanted it, but while I hand it to you, look what it did to me.

- As someone who has not read the books, I saw that in the books Rhaena was happy in the Vale and that makes me sick cause that girl deserves it. Pray she claims a dragon next episode.

- Can a book person confirm is Alyssa had a sister? Cause ik with the kings guard from last episode (sorry I’m bad with names) they like made up Aerianna? So I wanna know if Hugh’s mom actually existed. Also hate hm character development/screen time he’s gotten as opposed to other side characters makes me sick.

- All those small folk in Dragonstone had me like, idk sista, but Rhaenyra seriously gained infinite aura points being able to calm Verthimor down.

- Vermithor knew damn well he ain’t have to burn all them people like that. Which leads me into my point that I love that these dragons have personalities. Like Syrax is literally just a girl, Vermithor is hot headed, Vhagar is an old lady, I just love that aspect of the show and someone give us a dragon personality fic

- Ulf stumbling onto a dragon like that I thought for sure he was dead. And also another clutch of dragon eggs???? Do they not know abt silverwing? Sm questions but when he went to kings landing I thought for a moment he was going to claim House Hightower. And when Aemond got to a haggard she was like “not again cmon”

- PERIOD THE DRAGON AT THE END WITH HER CREW BEHIND HERRRR!!! FUCK AEMOND WE DONT NEED HIMMMM!!! Such a boss power move like that was epic

- My favorite part abt next weeks preview was seeing Aemond tell Haelena she would have to ride Dreamfyre. Like she’s not meant yo be a warrior princess she’s meant to run in a field of flowers

But now i'm unsure where to even begin with the gushing because chapter 4 has left me CLIMBING the walls, hanging upside down from my ceiling, HOWLING because good cod !!!!! Intense argument after intense emotional moment after brief humorous, hopeful breath of air, thEN MORE INTENSE CONFLICT--

I was positively SHAKING in bed when i read it last night, it left me IN SHAMBLES (⁠╯⁠°⁠□⁠°⁠）⁠╯⁠︵⁠ ⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

I've been meaning to comment in more detail on every chapter, and just list up everything little detail and exchange i love, but after the current chapter i had TO COME HERE FIRST to send an Ask!!

I am SO HAPPY to see Off the Hook and the Squid sister and Splatoon hanging out, and knowing that sweet, brave Eight is in good, caring hands now 🥺 they deserve the world, and their genuine admiration and trust in Octavio had me 🥹 it was so cathartic to see Marina have the heart to heart she needed with her former leader as well, even if they don't agree with everything, Octavio's growth already showed a teeeny tiny bit in him, reluctantly, agonizingly, agreeing with Marina and making that promise to her (and by extension, to Eight and all of his people)

I don't know what you have planned for the next chapter, i know this one's gonna be tricky since it has to essentially fill in the void between game 2 and 3, but man!!! I really really really hope that, despite all of the baggage and anger and yelling, Octavio can find some solace, something to hold onto, in the genuine hope and trust that Eight, Callie, and Marina put in him, in spite (or because?) of everything 🙏 he's gonna have another tough road ahead of him, but i believe in this stubborn, clever, spiteful old man 🐙 he has fucked up many times before, but i believe he will try his best to keep his word, if only to not let the people down that put their trust in him (maybe that's hust me being delulu and naive tho agsjshdjfhgfd)

My god that ENDING tho!!! The leaky roof has CRASHED DOWN metaphorically, and it's really lucky that Octavio jumped the heck outta there because i would NOT want to be at the camp after all that!

There's poor Callie, probably having a small breakdown rn, and Cuttlefish, who let some /real nasty/ things slip out there (granted, that was mostly the result of being spurred on and goaded by Octavio to be his worst self, i think) that i can't rly see Marina and Eight just... overlook, tbh (especially after he also pulled that whole past identify reveal on Marina in the Metro, which could have potentially ended very, very poorly)... The mood there is probably. 😬😬😬 Rip to the planned party 🎉

okay well here’s how it was gonna go, pls keep in mind my storytelling in asks and in writing are diff so this might be explained crappily HAHAHAHA but basically in reckless...

gojo gets shot in the head by his abusive dad bcos he finally stood up against him, but that backfired. his father is really adamant on control, and gojo loses his memories at the same time y/n gave birth. she decided to keep the baby after deciding that she wants a family after all, but when gojo woke up with mixed and lost memories, he only remembers mia and everything after her accident was gone. gojo becomes distorted and even becomes harsh sometimes, especially when y/n said they had a baby and she was his friend, bcos gojo’s mindset was from way back to six years ago, where he had lots of issues with his family and mia’s that he was wary who to trust.

so,,, they didn’t want gojo to hurt y/n bcos he’s such in an emotional mess that he has no control of himself. eventually, y/n decides to stay away but the baby is adopted by gojo and mia, who gets married for the sake of business and gojo’s current situation. truthfully, mia doesn’t want to marry him bcos it would hurt y/n and she’s not that awful. mia and y/n become friends after realizing they’re pretty similar and actually find genuine friendship with one another. she doesn’t have a choice tho and gojo, mia, along with gojo’s mom who divorced her husband for his abuse move to the states where they raised y/n and gojo’s daughter, sayori, leaving y/n all alone in tokyo who then becomes vice president of kamo enterprises. basically, it shows the repeated history of y/n’s father choosing to hide her from her real parents, and she begins to understand why he did that bcos she also has not really met her own daughter. y/n knows mia and gojo could take care of sayori better than she could, especially with the fact that gojo’s memories are mixed and transfixed on the timeline of him dating mia, mia giving birth to sayori, then them getting married. y/n is not present at all in his memories. gojo thinks he was the one in a car accident, not mia.

sayori is about four years old when gojo decides to come back to tokyo. now that he’s disowned and his mother has also left, gojo becomes a successful model in the states. he comes home bcos he remembers geto and wants to start their own agency (gojo as a model, geto as the photographer.) mia is wary at first for fear gojo might remember everything. she’s not being selfish; the doctors warned that anything that could potentially trigger gojo’s memories that his subconscious has erased could be detrimental to him. mia tries to hold it off but gojo insists, so the gojo/yamazaki family go back and that’s where gojo meets y/n, who he first thought was geto’s new wife.

in the reckless fanart, geto’s photo is like this.

geto’s ring is silver - it’s his dead wife’s ring. the hand caressing him is gold - it’s y/n wearing the ring of gojo’s mother, who by then has already apologized before they all left.

geto and y/n become best friends on the course of four years. missing her daughter, y/n becomes attached to mei (geto’s daughter) and acts more like a mom than an aunt. geto basks in this faux family they’ve built, though he makes sure mei is not too dependent or expecting that y/n would be her mom. he falls in love with y/n and he notices how after gojo left, she becomes softer and a lot sweeter. all the anger and hatred disappeared, all thanks to y/n finding peace with her new life and making up with her mother, Valeria, who once overdosed on drugs after it was exposed to the public that Y/N is a child she abandoned. y/n saved Valeria by rushing her to the hospital, which is also the same time that Y/N saw gojo being wheeled in the emergency room with a bullet in his head.

now that gojo is back, he can’t help but notice that y/n is avoiding him. she feels familiar but he plays it off over her being a close friend and possible lover of geto. meanwhile, y/n’s dedication to pretending he doesn’t exist breaks slowly when she sees sayori, a beautiful little girl who’s growing up, call mia as her “mommy.” it hurts her that she missed her first words, first steps, or that she’s being excluded in the family that is truly hers, but everyone is happy and doing great that she chooses to be the only who isn’t for the sake of everyone else.

in ch2, gojo goes to a carnival/amusement park and takes a polaroid photo with y/n. he finds them in one of the stuff he left behind in the penthouse he used to live in; shocked bcos y/n had been adamant they never met before. that’s when he begins to confront her on who she really is what they really used to be. he feels guilty that he can’t remember, but most of all, gojo is torn inside that y/n had been all alone the whole time when he promised he would be there.

its complicated for them since gojo x mia are already married, and sayori got her mom’s stubborness so its difficult for her to believe someone she never met before is her real mom and mia is...well, mia. mia actually helps sayori accept that she is not the real mom, apologizing to the child for lying to them and it ends up with sayori running away and getting lost for a few hours. sayori is scared since tokyo is alien to her and she doesn’t speak japanese, but when y/n finds her, she comes running to her arms and that is when she begins to soften up around her real mom.

this is where the slowburn with gojo and y/n begins. for them, getting to know each other once more on a clean slate is both refreshing yet scary, especially since one has erased the past in their mind and the other is desperately trying to forget it. the thing about the mia x gojo as a married couple and parents is that gojo deep down feels he does not love mia that way. he can’t explain why there’s just something missing or confusing in his life. he loves mia out of respect and friendship, but he would never admit that he is not in love with his wife. however, he plays it over the fact that its “just the broken memories” and lies to himself that he is very much in love with her. when he meets y/n again, however, it makes sense. he does love y/n and him forgetting her was a defense mechanism of his system to erase the most painful times of his life, and that included his guilt for hurting y/n with the abuse of his parents who controlled the way he acted around her. as for mia, she also does not love gojo and she probably never did, but for the sake of his well being and for sayori’s future (which was entrusted to her by y/n) she stayed with him. now though, mia knows its time to let go.

geto...it is not easy for geto. he loves y/n so much because of her tenacity and kindness, but he also loves her enough to know she is happier with someone else. to him, he’s content knowing that she felt less lonely when he was around and that he helped make her smile. in the end, geto has closure with y/n who apologizes for not returning his feelings.

NAOYAAAAA though...ofc i gave him a good ending 💕 after he was brutally rejected by Mia, y/n cheers him up by setting Naoya up with a law professor around his age, who is Ayame. Ayame is supposed to be named Suki tbh 😋 but I thought the self insert is a little too much so I changed it to Ayame. Ayame is pretty funny and even respects that Naoya is uncomfortable on the first date, telling him that it doesn’t have to be that kind of date and she doesn’t expect anything from him. Ayame’s bubbly yet blunt nature is a breath of fresh air from Mia’s secretive and perfectionist nature and the two become good friends. Naoya and Ayame end up hanging out a lot bcos “thats what friends do” but it doesn’t take long before they go out together. And ofc, Naoya is a little ashamed that Ayame was the first to confess and she beat him to it, but they get married and are happy nonetheless 💕 Mia ends up as a successful doctor who helps her family with the business, divorces Gojo, but she still has no plans to marry and is perfectly happy and content to focus on her career.

Eventually, Gojo and Y/N get married once everything is sorted out. Gojo becomes a well known model in Tokyo as well, and Gojo Group is absorbed by Y/N herself after proving Gojo’s father guilty of attempted murder. Gojo doesn’t want anything more to do with the corporate world though, but Y/N stays and kicks ass as a vice president to all the merged companies.

Y/N and Valeria also makes up after Valeria is indebted to Y/N who saved her life, and Valeria’s parents become more supportive and start to see Valeria more as a person than a child to inherit the business. Albeit being in her 40s, Valeria enjoys the youth she lost only now, but also enjoys being the grandmother to Sayori. Its a little awkward between Valeria and Y/N after everything that happened, but they’re trying and are even dubbed as the iconic motherly duo who is unbeatable in their games.

Gojo’s father is thrown into prison, and his main victim, his own wife, also shows recovery from the years of abuse. Although her obsessive control with Gojo and his sister (the eldest Gojo child) was not right, his mom was left with no choice but to keep them on close watch and control their lives because she was trying to keep them safe from their father’s wrath. In the end, Gojo’s mom makes up by being a better mother, and Gojo and his sister forgives her while also apologizing that both of them left home when they knew their mom always shouldered the abuse to protect her kids.

Overall, its a happy ending for most of the characters! the last chapter is Sayori’s wedding to Naoya and Ayame’s son, Naori, who is a few years younger than his bride. Gojo is grumbling to Y/N about how his little girl is all grown up now, and that their son, Shinichiro, who is 18 in that timeline is also maturing and would be leaving the nest soon. Y/N thinks its adorable and asks Gojo to just enjoy the union because its only one of the many great memories they would still have to make.

That’s how it would end! Gojo Best Dad and Gojo DILF. Everyone is happy!

Basically the theme of Reckless is that sometimes the most unexpected things we do out of character can end up as one of the greatest things to ever happen, which in their case was the suprise baby. They went through a lot and it has a lot of psychological themes, along with heavy family drama, but overall I wanted the series to be a heartwarming one by the end. I really would’ve loved to see it all happen but I am also happy to share it to you guys in this way.

So yeah, happy reading and thanks so much for supporting Reckless !! I was also thinking of doing maybe like a bonus chapter where the characters pretend it was all a movie and they’re actors that you can talk to, but that didn’t happen so :// anyways I hope you enjoyed this and thank you for reading up until here 💕

Maria was the one you wanted. You chose her, and you’d do what you had to to keep her. 

Whatever it took.

The sound of her laugh was the sweetest music that had ever graced your ancient ears. You threaded your fingers through hers, dissolving into a fit of giggles as she wiped ice cream from her nose. 

“I would have licked it off!” you protested with a playful pout. 

She shrugged and brushed the icecream against her nose till it was covered once more, “go ahead.” she challenged.

You raised an eyebrow and leaned in, licking the icecream off her button nose. 

Maria gagged playfully, rubbing at her nose. “You are SO gross! I didn’t think you’d actually do it!” 

You doubled over with laughter, “I had to after that! You totally dared me to!” You pouted once more, “besides, is that any way to treat your girlfriend? Do I disgust you?” You threw your hand over your forehead in a dramatic display of faux offense. 

Maria mock gasped, “ah of course not darling,” her hands touched her nose with playful reverence, “I shall never wash this nose again.” 

“Ew,” your nose scrunched. 

She shoved you playfully, “you’re terrible,” she beamed. 

“You love it,” you whispered, your forehead resting on hers. 

“I do,” she whispered back, before moving to capture your lips in a sweet kiss.

David’s eyes narrowed as he took in the sight of you and Maria, too wrapped up in each other to notice he was watching.

He blew out a harsh cloud of smoke, a terrifying smile gracing his face.

“What are we gonna do about…that,” he gestured with his cigarette, before flicking off the butt and grinding it into the dirt.

“Nothing,” Dwayne said firmly, “we’ll only drive her away if we meddle.”

David scoffed.

“Maybe he’s right,” Marko chimed in, “maybe scheming isn’t the answer? How long can she ignore the mate pull anyway, it’s only a matter of time.”

David frowned, “so what? We sit back and watch while our mate parades around the boardwalk with someone else? This is our territory Marko, it’s downright disrespectful what she’s doing.”

Dwayne sighed.

“You’ve been awfully quiet blondie,” David clapped Paul on the back as he hung to the dock railing, staring off at the waves as they crashed over the shore.

“What’s there to say?”

Marko’s face softened and he moved to Paul’s side, hooking his arm through Paul’s.

“What do you mean ‘what’s there to say?’” David frowned.

Paul shrugged.

“You’re giving up? Just like that?” David grit, “you hound us for weeks about this girl and what? You’re just done with her? She’s ours Paul.”

“I can’t…” he took a deep breath, “I can’t stand to see her look at me like she does.”

David fell silent, his arms crossed.

“It’s like that pull between us…it’s like it hurts her,”

“That’s not possible,” David muttered.

“That’s not what I meant,” Paul’s gaze met his. “I don’t wanna hurt her anymore.”

Marko’s hands traced patterns on Paul’s back as he returned to stare out at the waves.

David stomped out his cigarette. “Look, let’s just follow ‘er a bit longer and see what we see.”

“I’m done tailing her,” Dwayne said, “we can’t blackmail someone into loving us.”

“Who said that’s what we’re doing?” David moved to stand toe to toe with Dwayne, “just think of it as gathering info.”

Paul shook his head, huffing a bit, “I’m out,”

“Me too,” Marko added, not meeting David’s eyes.

The boys began to peel off.

“Do what you want David,” Dwayne placed a hand on the bleach blond vampire’s shoulder, “but look at her.” He nodded towards you, and David followed his gaze.

You were smiling brightly, unlike anytime they’d ever seen you. Your fingers intertwined with Maria’s, her lips pressed against your ear, murmuring something that made your smile grow.

“Would you really take that away from her?”

David’s jaw clenched, “we could make her ten times as happy.”

Dwayne shook his head as he walked off towards his bike. Something told him this wasn’t going to end well.

David rolled his eyes as he lit up behind a column while you, finally, kissed Maria good night.

Following the two of you had proved entirely fruitless. Your frequent public displays of affection had only served to increase his ire towards the whole situation.

He’d hate to go home empty handed and face the boys’ smug faces. He hoped that once you were alone, he’d be able to find…something. At this point, he wasn’t even sure what he was looking for.

As Maria drove away, you began to stroll off.

David threw his bike a quick longing look, promising to return for it later, before following the path to your home.

As you walked the trail, David was close behind concealing himself within the trees. He was grateful you were always so lost in your own thoughts, or he was sure your heightened senses would have tipped you off to his presence by now. He smirked, being an apex predator had made you…careless.

The closer you got to your destination, the more familiar the woods seemed to become to David. He knew this path, he’d walked it countless times before.

But you couldn’t be…could you?

But when you strode up to that Max’s front door, his tall form waiting for you in the doorway, tapping his foot impatiently, David couldn’t believe his luck.

Max was your sire. He must be. Traditional, family man, ‘mates are the greatest gifts to vampire kind,’ Max.

David chuckled to himself, the beginnings of a plan forming. You had no idea what you were in for.

As the days passed, you and Maria were closer than ever. It seemed like you spent every one of her waking night hours wrapped in her arms. (Even some of the hours you were meant to be working, but what Max didn’t know certainly wouldn’t hurt him.)

It seemed like David’s gang of misfit vampires had gotten the hint too. You hadn’t seen any trace of the bikers since you’d caught a glimpse of them creeping on your date a few days ago.

Good. They should leave you be.

But when you were with Maria, happy as you were, you couldn’t help the consuming feeling that something wasn’t quite right.

You hated it.

It bubbled up in your chest, like you were going to vomit, but nothing would ever come out. It was like pressure, keeping you on edge when you should be completely at ease. ‘You’re missing something,’ it seemed to whisper, ‘you’re always going to feel this way.’

Again and again, you’d shake it off.

You preferred to lose yourself in the taste of Maria’s lips, the softness of her cheeks, the warmth of her smile.

But that feeling, it always found it’s way back.

You tried to suppress your doubts as you trekked home.

When you arrived at Max’s front door, he wasn’t waiting to greet you.

You frowned, but shrugged it off. Surely he’d just tired of your attitude towards him. You’d figured he’d take the hint sooner or later anyway.

But when you opened the door, you were met with the sight of Max sitting at his dining room table and sipping from a wine glass, full of a liquid you knew was not wine.

He gestured to the empty seat across from him, a matching glass placed in front of the chair. “Sit,” he commanded casually.

Your eyes narrowed, but you obeyed.

He took a long drink from his glass, “you have been spending a lot of time with that Maria girl.”

Your fists clenched, but you willed yourself not to react too strongly. “She’s my coworker, what about it?”

Max set his glass down. “Do you think I’m a fool?”

Your breath hitched. “What’s wrong with me dating?” You asked, “I thought you’d be happy to see me putting down roots.”

“Nothing wrong with dating,” he shrugged, “nothing wrong with dating humans, nothing wrong with dating girls…”

“Then what are we doing here?” your nails dug into your palms as you waited for his reply.

“Because there is something wrong with dating a silly human girl, when you have been blessed with mates.”

You felt like all the air had been knocked from your lungs.

“H-how did you-”

“You thought you could hide this? Please,” Max scoffed, “I have eyes everywhere.”

You were too stunned to speak.

“Do you know what I would do to have a mate?” He hissed, “and look at you, wasting what fate has decided to give you. You really are every bit the ungrateful child I thought you were.”

“So what?” Your anger threatened to spill over, “you’re going to order me not to see her? You’re going to thrall me?”

“Not quite,” Max clasped his hands together, “let me put it this way. If you refuse to break off this little dalliance with Maria, I will kill her.”

“What,” you whispered in shock.

“I’m a vampire,” he stated plainly, “I eat humans remember? As do you?” He gestured at the glass in front of you.

“I have never felt the need to apologize for what I am, and I have never been afraid to use my gifts to get what I want, just as you have.” Max reminded you.

Your mind flashed through every disgustingly wealthy man you had “dated,” drained, and discarded for all those years in Manhattan.

“That’s- it’s- that was different.”

Max hummed, “you may see it that way, but regardless, whatever you had with Maria, it’s over. If you want her to live that is. Doesn’t she have that big family to take care of?”

You pushed away from the table, storming towards the stairs. Before you started to ascend them so you could lock yourself in your room, you turned to face him.

“You’re a monster.”

Max nodded, “maybe, but my dear, so are you.”

You tore your gaze away from his, racing up the stairs and slamming your door.

“I’m only doing what’s best for you!” He called after you.

You laughed bitterly and collapsed onto your bed. For the first time in a long time, you wept.

2ne1 resurrection time!

Omg, my girlies SNSD, they were the second group after Wonder Girls who got my attention, then my friend started yelling about Shinee's debut and I ended up stanning Shinee to do this day! I stanned Shinee + ggs mostly. I knew EXO and BTS from their early days but never got into them properly, but I like a lot of their tracks plus mister Baekhyun and mister Jongin slay their solos! It's really funny cause I used to stan SM groups: Shinee, SNSD, f(x) but nowadays I genuinely hate most things SM produces except for Shinee obviously and thesolo tracks. 💀 SM's soloists are amazing!

Dreamcatcher yessss, they're so good I'm happy they found their niche, I like BP too and really got into Itzy last year I think they're amazing performers. My friend is a huge Monbebe so I know quite a lot about MX and I remember when they debuted, same with SVT, but I only started getting into SVT (like their Going Seventeen show and other content) at the end of 2020 AND I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

I only ult Shinee, Stray Kids and Ateez though. Other groups I like are Oneus, A.C.E, Everglow, Enhypen, I started enjoying TXT last year, Purple Kiss, Pixy. I like some Twice and GI-dle as well. I think because I was on a kpop break throughout most 3rd gen I never really got into any of the groups 100%, but tbh Seventeen is close.

Still when it comes to 3rd gen I know basically everyone, at least a song or two. Aaaaaand I'm a huuuuuuge fan of my OG girls Hyuna and Sunmi, also Chungha, Somi, Bibi, Jamie, BoA...I really like female soloists, but also Woodz, Kang Daniel, Wonho etc. are really amazing.

Kaeya: would be more strategic and tactical, I see him as a Cypher or Sova main, also has a lot of fun placing astra's stars and watching diluc suffer while being sucked into astra's stars.

Klee: A raze main, got into valorant when jean dropped her off at Kaeya's house and watched kaeya play valorant. Just very destructive. eliminated an entire team alongside Xinyan. Yeah, Jean was not happy with that. Alice was probably chill with it. (klee's totally isnt long because she's my favourite character yeah totally not)

Xingqiu: takes his time placing Cypher's traps, or Killjoy's cool ass technologies and stuff. the very smart and strategic player. He outsmarts the other team. a lot. this is short but whatever.

Ningguang: I see her as a Brimstone main, or a Sage main. Depends if she feels like she wants to be the leader of the team, or wants to support the team from the sidelines. has insanely good wifi, insanely good mic, stuff like that. the only time she's ever going to disconnect from calls are if the power runs out which is literally never.

Hu tao: Plays as raze or pheonix. Just very reckless in general. Not sure what else to write for this lmao

Yanfei: Hu tao's girlfriend!! (yantao 4 life babeyyyy) supports Hu tao by playing as sage. Has a job as a lawyer so she doesnt play much.

Qiqi: Hu tao's niece. Got into valorant from klee. Plays as Skye (she just likes the animals ok) or Sage with klee. has slow reaction time tho. (hu tao was very surprised when she saw qiqi in a match.)

Diluc: plays as pheonix or astra, he's way better than kaeya when he plays as astra. okay ill just say he treats valorant as a chess game when he uses astra and he sometimes uses pheonix for his flashes.

OMGGG😩 my heart!!!💔💔 I feel so bad for both of them but Wanda.... my heart breaks for her cuz unlike the reader, her loss is permanent. She can never get the love of her life back😔 at least the reader still has Bucky in a way Wanda can't ever have again. When she said she felt like Vision was still waiting for her there💔😭 I can't deal🥺 But anyway...I'm glad that Wanda cleared up that Bucky's feelings were genuine tho. Where was everybody? And how had she been living several months without close human contact before? The seconds on the clock on the bedside table ticked by as if they were mocking her, but Y/N didn’t have the energy to pay attention to them. Had her life in this apartment always been this lonely? Well, she had other things to do and to worry about at that time. She could have them right now as well, but Y/N just couldn’t do it anymore. The constant worry and fear had drained her. Existing alone felt like enough of a task to complete. 

But the worst part was, that she had been through it all before. She was stuck in an endless circle of worry and boredom. There was nothing to do but at the same time, her head made it seem as if there was a workload of panicking to be done. Right now, though, she was stuck in the boring part of it all. Though she already felt the frayed edges of anxiety show under the door. 

Y/N watched as her fingers tugged on a loose string at the hem of her shirt and she kind of missed the familiar reflection of the silver ring that once adorned her finger. This was all it took to have her thoughts circle around the brunette super soldier again. It made her wish that she had kissed him one more time, held him for a second longer and just appreciated him even more than she had already done. It would have probably been the last time. Feelings or not, Bucky had been a big part of her life - still was - and it didn’t seem fair that she had lost him as fast as she had gained him. 

When she closed her eyes and leaned her head back on the bed, she could see him before her. Bright blue eyes, faint lines decorating the outer corners - an indicator of his happiness. The happiness he shared with her. Y/n smiled when she felt the warmth crawl up her body, tiny butterflies settling in her stomach as she reached out her hand. But before she could imagine touching him to smooth out the slowly forming frown on his handsome face, the sky behind him turned red and his eyes lost their shine. It was the same look he had given her that last time she saw him. Almost estranged - confused by his own thoughts and feelings swirling through his body. 

Y/N couldn’t shake the tiny voice in her head telling her that Wanda had a greater hand in their relationship than she claimed. She knew her own feelings were real. They had been ever since Bucky stepped into the compound such a long time ago. And maybe it was just her manipulative self that felt as though she did not deserve this miracle called Bucky Barnes actually happening to her, but deep down, a wallowing fear to hold onto something so fragile slowly crept up her body. She was scared to break what they had - or whatever was left of it - especially if it had only been held together by Wanda's chaotic magic.

There was no way of knowing how much of their love story had been Wanda’s doing, though. For all Y/N knew, Bucky’s feelings could have never gone beyond a close friendship. And even though Wanda had promised to stop manipulating them, Y/N wasn’t sure if all his words whispered during their time in Westview and especially in that beautiful night had been his own.

Well, there was one way to find out, but Y/n wasn’t ready for another hit to her fragile heart. The others were already enough to last a lifetime. She didn’t need the humiliation of knowing that she had been played all along on top of it. 

Y/N opened her eyes, staring at the ceiling. Oh, how nice it would be to have him wrapped around her right now. Or even just Alpline to snuggle with. She missed the lovely white-furred cat just as much. She had grown onto her every time Y/n saw how much she meant to Bucky. And Y/N would be lying if she said that her heart had not skipped a beat when Alpine accepted her into her life just as much as Y/N did Al into hers.

Bucky was probably as sad about it - everything he had lost yet again. It was no secret how many things neglected him during his infamous lifetime. Bucky had so much taken from him, and even now, he had no control over things that happened to him. Though this one was Y/N’s fault. It was her idea to go to Westview after all. She should have just stayed oblivious to the magical word that unfolded itself in the suburbs. None of this would have happened, and she might even still have had a chance with Bucky. But now? There would probably never be the fairytale ending she had been dreaming of so many times before. And there would definitely be no husband and hydrangeas or white picket fences. Still, the worst part was that there would be no Bucky. And it was her fault - after all, she had just left when everything was over, too overwhelmed by her discovery and certain that talking to him would shatter her to pieces.

Y/N took a deep breath which she released with a dramatic sigh. The thought of him made her heart ache. She missed him so much already.

It was bad. Just as bad as it had been losing any other friend she ever lost. And even though Bucky wasn’t dead, his absence alone pulled the familiar pain from months ago back onto the forefront of her mind and heart. Y/n wanted to do something about it, scream, cry, punch - but there was no amount of screaming or crying or punching that would make the aching go away. She needed Bucky; she needed a friend. 

Looking back at her pathetic situation, Y/N let out a huff as she stared at her boring ceiling. If this was what Wanda had felt before everything happened - before Westview happened - she couldn’t even blame her for everything. If Y/N had had the power to pull all these moments back to her, so real that even she thought them true again, she would have probably done the same. Wanda wasn’t so different from her or anyone for that matter. She was just the only one able and willing to let it happen - to let her deepest desires spring to life - even if the world usually didn’t work that way.

Thinking about it like this, Y/N almost felt proud of the power move her friend had made. But she also relived the pain and the fear she had caused and it made her come to the conclusion that Wanda’s doing - even though it inflicted trauma and injuries - wasn’t out of malice. It was brought to life by grief and love - a dangerous mixture in itself. Add a witch to the mix and you had the perfect supervillain story. But Wanda wasn’t a supervillain. She was broken. And angry. Deep down there was still the young girl who was captured by Hydra and who had her life ripped away from her. Along with her brother and her one true love. Of course, she would go batshit crazy at some point. And of course, her way of reacting wasn’t the smartest, but irrationality didn’t need excuses sometimes. It just happened - suddenly and without warning. 

Y/N looked at the clock again. Maybe it was time to get over her wallowing self, she thought, though her body didn’t indicate to move from the bed anytime soon. Sitting around and crying herself to sleep had proven pointless several times before. And yes, to be fair, so had actually acting on her instincts. But if it would go wrong either way - if fate had its own vicious plans that not even Wanda could change - there was no harm in seeking out an old friend and possibly receiving a sliver of closure from the action.

Finding Wanda wasn’t as easy as Y/N had initially thought. But after tracking several news channels and listing in on the CB where she was finally provided with better details of the witch’s last whereabouts, locating her actual hideaway was a breeze. Y/N remembered the day she had been stuck babysitting Peter - for her it was actually quite a fun day of playing board games and watching movies but Tony had made it sound difficult - after he had been ‘banned’ from doing Spider-Man things because of an unfortunate incident including helping an old lady across the street and a stray dog. There wasn’t necessarily a mission but Tony was out of town and Peter was too much of a risk being, well, Peter. Wanda had come back to the compound with the largest smile on her face. Apparently, she and Vision had been sent to a stakeout and when the job was done, he had kissed her for the first time. 

She had been so happy, super excited, and already planning a surprise date on the very spot soon after. Y/N knew where it was because she and Peter had helped Wanda set it up and according to the CB, she was last sighted one mile from the infamous first-date-lake.

And sure enough, when Y/N stepped out of the car and peered past the hut by the water, there stood a familiar redhead by the dock, looking over the water and her arms tightly hugging herself in a cardigan to be shielded from the cool air. 

It was peaceful here, and even though the lake water was probably too cool to touch at this time of year, it looked inviting and calming. There were wafts of mist creeping over the tiny waves in the distance and the trees around it began to bare. Though despite the beauty of the scenery, an eery harmony swayed through the air, mirroring the feelings tickling Y/N’s throat.

“I liked the weather in Westview better,” Wanda spoke up all of a sudden. Y/N hadn’t approached her this loudly, had she? The Black Widow just stood still five feet behind the redhead and watched her hair flow in the cool breeze.“But I guess it was time for a change of season. The summer had lasted way too long.”

She didn’t answer. Because, really, what could she even say to that? The ‘summer’ had lasted way too long. But Y/N still enjoyed it. Because it had Bucky and togetherness and belonging...

A moment of silence stretched beyond the waterfront and Y/N slowly made her way over to the end of the dock where Wanda stood. Her face was stern, eyes focused on something beyond the water - deeply hidden in the woods behind. She had been crying. Her eyes were red and puffy but there was no tear visible on her face. She was probably just as drained of them as Y/N was. Because that was what happened eventually. You just run out of them - there is no more water to mix with the pain. It stays inside you, poisoning you slowly and silently. 

“I- uh. I thought I’d find you here. I remember the day we came here.” It had never been this difficult to start a conversation with Wanda before - ever. But how did one approach a person after everything that’s happened? She didn’t want to make it worse - rub salt in the wound that had barely had any time to heal by now. Y/n was just hoping that Wanda could see what her intentions were: not harmful in any way, but rather an approach to guide them back to the way they once were - Wanda and Y/N, inseparable and strong. 

“I came here so often after... it happened.” Wanda trailed off. “I liked to think that he’s still here, waiting for me.”

Y/N averted her eyes to the ground sadness seeping through her skin with every word Wanda spoke. They really were a miserable pair. Why the universe had chosen them to endure these losses must mean that it thought they were strong enough for it. But Y/N had felt anything but strong for the past few days. She was just exhausted - tired of living this life of never-ending misery. She wanted to touch Wanda, hug her, and tell her that things would be okay, but here was the thing: she didn’t know that. And looking at the stats of the past, chances were she would tell her friend utter bullshit.

And Y/N hadn’t come here for empty promises. She came here to mend bridges and finally get the closure she deserved. It wasn’t Wanda’s fault that she had put everything on the line going into Westview. She had not had much, to begin with. But Wanda was possibly the only person who could soothe her roaring mind. There was a possibility whatever she had to say would quiet the what-ifs echoing through her brain 24/7. And even if she told her that everything was in fact a lie, at least she’d know. And then she could work on getting over yet another hit to the heart.

Y/N was still staring at the wooden planks beneath her feet when she spoke. Her voice was hoarse from the forming tears. “Why, Wanda? Why did you do it?” The answer was pretty clear already, but Y/N couldn’t think of another way to start this. It would be uncomfortable either way.

Another beat of silence fell between the pair. Only interrupted by the light rippling of water to the wooden props reaching in the deep green beneath them, it overtook Y/N’s ears and settled. Though then, finally, Wanda spoke: “I- I didn’t know what else to do- where to go. I-“

“You broke a bunch of people’s hearts, you know that?” Y/N stared at her friend’s profile, waiting for her to turn her head in her direction. “Yours included,” she added once she did.

Wanda’s eyes were glassy again, though she couldn’t hide the shimmer of anger and hurt seeping through her stare. Of course, she knew that she hurt people. It probably wasn’t the smartest move to tell her that yet again. It was what she had been hearing so much lately. And frankly, Y/N didn’t know how to communicate with her anymore. She was on low fuel only driven by the possibility of getting answers and finally finding peace.

"I know... but I needed this. I needed to go to Westview. I need to feel-“

“Why? ‘Cause everything better in Westview?” Y/N huffed while shaking her head at herself. “That’s what I thought - that’s why I came.” Her voice grew softer with every word. “But that clearly didn’t work out well for either of us, did it?”

There was this look. This look, that told Y/N, she had hit exactly where she had aimed. She was right because somewhere deep within, they were still the same. Just two broken women who were tired of the world. Who had lost too much and struggled to find things to hold onto. 

Wanda held intense eye contact for a while and then, out of nowhere, she started sobbing. The dam broke and she hid her face in her hands, crying and sniffing with heaving shoulders.

“I’m so sorry!” Another sob broke through her as she hurried her hands in her hair. Desperation and pain all came rushing out of her without avail. But Y/n wouldn’t stop her. It was good to let it all out.

“Come here.” She tugged on her sleeve until Wanda looked at her with soaked eyes. And when her lip quivered, she pulled her into her embrace, pressing her against her chest with just enough space to breathe. “It’s okay.” Y/n soothed into the red strands of hair, she pushed her face into, trying - struggling - to suffocate the sobs drenching her jacket. 

The pair sank to the cold ground, where slightly slippery wooden beams dampened their jeans, but neither of them cared. Wanda was warm and she held onto her friend just as tightly as Y/N did. Her face was still hidden in the collar but the noises had stopped. There was only the occasional jump of her shoulder pushing Y/N slightly backward. Her hands smoothed up and down Wanda’s back until she had recovered from the outburst. 

“Just know,” she whispered, “That next time when you feel this way... talk to me. I could have used a friend after the whole reblipping thing. And I think you did too.”

“Okay,” Wanda sniffed, leaned her head back, and let the back of her sleeved hand run over her face to dry the tears. 

Y/N just watched, her arms still tightly wrapped around her friend, not intending to let go. Instead, she squeezed her arms for good measure and leaned into her. “I will always be here for you, Wan.”

Wanda fell forward into her arms again and hugged her tightly. And it felt good to be held again. Y/n was strong - she knew that - but that didn’t change the fact that loneliness made even her feel depressed and angsty. It was dangerous to be alone with your thoughts for too long.

But luckily, that wasn’t the case right now. The two women watched over the water as they sat close to each other, shoulders and thighs touching, they let the cool wood beneath them tie them to the ground. They didn’t talk - not for a while - just watched and listened to nature and enjoyed being lonely together. 

After a while, the sun even peaked throughout the cloudy sky and illuminated the water with a golden glow. It wasn’t warm anymore, though. And it definitely wasn’t summery like Westview had been. But it was beautiful and calming and natural.

Y/N dipped her head to the side until it rested comfortably on Wanda’s shoulder. The faint wind blew her red stands into her face, tickling her nose, but she didn’t care. She just took a deep breath and closed her eyes. And even though this moment was reserved for her friend and finally ridding her mind of bothersome topics, her thoughts couldn’t help but sway back to the aching in her heart and the issue that caused it. Differently than before, however, there was not a drop of anger mixing with the thoughts. It was simply recapping - revisiting and reflecting on things that didn’t lay too far in the past.

“God I was so stupid... Thinking that this could be real. We were just pretending. The whole time we were playing house. And I fell for it. I fell even harder for Bucky and now I’ve lost it all again.” She felt kind of bad for bringing it back up, but to be fair, Y/N had come here for answers and closure, and up until now, neither of those ‘issues’ were resolved.

“No. No, you haven’t. You have me.” Wanda turned to her, inevitably forcing Y/N to detach her head from her shoulder.

“Do I?” Her eyes shook with uncertainty because there really was no way of knowing. Wanda was fragile right now, and even though she loved her and knew that she wanted to be there for her friend, Y/n herself had struggled to be a good friend in the past. She wouldn’t blame Wanda for doing the same, especially with everything she went through.

The witch’s red hair bobbed excitedly as she nodded her head with emphasis. “Yes. I know that what I’ve done was stupid and inconsiderate and dangerous,” she reached for her hand, “But I did it for you, too.”

And all of a sudden the urge to explain how stupid it was to call things stupid or irrational was gone. Y/N had heard the last part of her tiny speech and her brain had chosen to focus solely on it.

“How do mean?” How could Wanda possibly have had her in mind when creating Westview? Y/n didn’t even know where she was at the time. It took Bucky and his mysterious friend to get the information to her. 

Wanda averted her gaze. Almost embarrassed, her cheeks tainted a darker shade of red and her finger nervously fumbled with Y/N’s. “When you came into Westview, I knew.”

“I figured as much.” She shook her head. It was no surprise that Wanda knew. She had controlled the whole town after all. And Agatha had told her during their meeting that this was how the hex worked. 

“I didn’t want to intervene this much, Y/N/N. I just wanted to nudge you in the right direction...”

“I know you meant well, but I'm afraid you somehow tempered with our emotions anyway. I felt it: There was something missing when Westview diminished.”

Wanda nodded and pressed her eyes shut. “I never intended to manipulate your feelings, Y/N. I think it just went over my head. I couldn’t control it anymore.” 

So even Wanda had trouble controlling her life - a life that she created. It was just sad to learn how powerless all of them were compared to the greater forces of the universe. Nobody had it easy, and nobody could control their fate. It was a matter of looking at it. And to be honest, Y/n never wanted to categorize herself as a person that fit into the glass half-full or empty category. She had changed so many times, had taken on so many identities over the years that it all mixed together. And as of the past five years, there was just one tragedy striking after the other, which made it incredibly hard to stay positive. Y/N had only allowed herself to fantasize about better things. There wasn’t a lot she expected from the world anymore - not after she had seen how cruel people could be. This all had changed drastically over the past weeks. Bucky had shown her that there were many things to appreciate. He made her smile after the period of grief she had faced alone. And being by herself in her apartment again made her think about considering more than one side of the story. After all - even colors could change with different light, who was she to decide that life didn’t. Y/N was exhausted, yes. She was tired of fighting it, but she had learned to consider changing her fate - to stop holding grudges and to give chances over and over again. To embrace rather than change things.

“I’m not mad, Wan. How could I? I got to live my fantasies - at least for a little while.” Y/N smiled. “It was nice, you know? Being normal for once, leaving my past behind.”

“Tell me about it.” 

They were looking at each other and then - as if on cue - the two women started to laugh. Because it was funny all things considered. Their lives were crazy and ridiculous - always had been and probably always will be. And even this story started as the bad joke it was. After a few chuckles, however, stray tears mixed with the joyous noises, and the pair slowly began to calm a little again. 

Y/N stretched her neck, letting her eyes sway over the sparkly surface of the water until they landed back on her friend. "How do I get over this Wanda? How are we going to get over this? All of it I mean. Sometimes I feel like I’ve become a burden to everyone around me. I let my fear control my mind.”

A short shimmer of confusion mirrored in Wanda’s eyes and then she turned to Y/N, laid her hands on her knees, and smiled.

“Oh Y/N, Bucky loves you. He always has. There is no getting over anything - not for you at least.”

“What?” Apparently, the confused look on Y/N’s face was enough to make Wanda elaborate because she spoke not even a second later.

“I didn’t want to back when the avengers were still a thing, but his thoughts were so loud I couldn’t not hear them.” 

“You promised me not to...” Y/n had always suspected that Wanda did it anyway, but now that she knew, she didn’t know how to feel about it. Did she do it to protect her? But if Bucky really loved her what was there to be protected from?

"Y/N, listen to me. Bucky is in love with you. With or without magic. He has always been. That’s why you were married in Westview. That was me - yes. But either way, I think you’re destined to be together.”

“So you... what?” All this new-not-new information gambled with her brain, making it hard to form a coherent thought, let alone a sentence. But Wanda understood what she was asking, and she answered with a shake of her head and a sincere smile. All the fear of Bucky somehow being forced to love her was unprecedented. Wanda never needed to create an affiliation in Bucky’s mind - she merely supported it. The one needing the nudge had been Y/N all along.

A moment of silence embraced the two friends in whichY/N collected her thoughts. If this was true - and she believed Wanda - then Bucky must have gone to a similar phase of depression on his own. It almost pained her to imagine him sitting in his apartment alone, worrying about what had gone wrong when there was nothing to be worried about. All this energy had been wasted for nothing but self-inflicted hurt that could have been avoided.

Y/N dipped her chin once and then she stated a determined ‘I need to do something.’

Wanda’s eyes brightened at that and she squeezed her hand in response. “Yes, you do.” 

It was like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Y/n had never expected to gain this kind of closure from today, but she wasn’t mad about it. It was nice to know that changing perspective actually changed life experiences.

“Not right now though.” She interrupted her own thoughts. “I have some catching up to do with a friend.” And with a smile that Wanda shortly reciprocated, Y/n relaxed into her position on the ground again.

They sat on the dock for another two hours, laughing and talking, revisiting old times. And Y/N appreciated that she could talk to Wanda about everything as if it were a normal thing again. There was no judgment or anxiety anymore. It was just them: two friends that spend the day by the lake, welcoming the cold season and actually having fun. 

Y/n would have never guessed that this was how her day would turn out if she had been asked this morning. She had expected another uncertain and unfulfilling encounter with a person she did not recognize anymore. But Wanda wasn’t a stranger. She was a friend, her closest friend, and it was crazy to think that part of her would ever change.

Y/n would have loved to stay in this moment forever because it was familiar and comforting and much needed. But when the sun slowly began to set and the air turned even cooler than it had already become, Y/N decided it was time to go home. 

Wanda stood up and reached out her hand for Y/N to take. When they both stood and shared another long hug, Y/N felt a lot lighter than hours before. 

“Are you going to be okay?” She asked into Wanda’s hair before leaning back and looking into her eyes.

Her friend just nodded with bright eyes. “Just call me after, okay?”

Excitement bubbled in her chest at the way she could talk to her again. This had been a long time coming “I will.”

And she then moved to step off the peer but before Y/n could fully leave the lakeside, she turned around one more time. “Wanda?”

“Yes?” She had already turned to watch the sunset, but when she heard the call of her name, she redirected her attention back to Y/N.

"It’s nice to have my best friend back.” There had never been words she had been more excited to say. Having Wanda back was like the breath of fresh air she had been craving from the start. And having her back by her side was the only thing left to give her enough support to follow through with the next important step.

“I agree.” The redhead smiled before receiving a final nod from her best friend. 

And with that, Y/N turned around again and walked towards her car. The cold air burned in her nose but it brought determination and hopefulness into a clearer mind. A clear mind that insisted: She was ready for whatever would happen next.
