so that's why people build arenas. good to know!
#terraria#...perhaps I should be more clear on this#expert mode eater of worlds. couldn't beat it with jungle armor and the weapons I had. (playing mage class)#built a small prototype arena with only campfires. tested the boss fight. won on the first try#you're telling me it was that easy and only took that little effort?#hell yeah I'm gonna make arenas for all the bosses#this is gonna be so much easier than just my usual 'fuck it we ball' strats

So I just beat Echoes of Wisdom
(Spoilers under the cut)
Overall, I was super happy with it! It was a surprisingly good blend of the classic Zelda formula and the new open-air stuff.
Really the only thing I was iffy on was the combat. Basically if you aren't using Swordfighter Form (which oftentimes you're not, considering you can't use it for very long) it's basically like playing Terraria as a Summoner before they added whips. It was super funny watching everything get its shit caved in by the Darknuts I kept summoning though.
Speaking of which, they brought back a lot of old enemies I was super happy with: Darknuts, Tektites, Freezards, they even brought back Volvagia for the Eldin Temple!
The lore implications for this game are super interesting too. Apparently before the Goddesses created the world there was a being called Null that ruled the void that came before. So this guy was the REAL original Zelda villain instead of Demise, basically. And then there's the Prime Energy which was literally just the Triforce, which I was happy to see make a return too!
And since I'm a hardcore Zelink shipper, I'm totally gonna write a fanfic (or series of oneshots, I dunno) set after the events of the game and following Zelda and Link getting to know each other and then catching feelings lmao

Looking for new people to talk to 😔🙏
I'm looking for people who want to be moots/online friends to try and meet some new people 🙏
Currently have no DNIs just don't be weird or creepy.
I'm not necessarily looking for anyone with particular interests since I wanna be exposed to some new things, but here's some things that I'm interested in or that are related to me so you can see if anything peaks your interest.
I'm a big music lover. I mainly like alternative music, lot's of punk music, but I listen to other genres too. Some specific bands/artists I like are the Misfits, Dead Kennedys, Moon Walker, Molchat Doma, Björk, Jazmin Bean, Mindless Self Indulgence (not as much anymore), Uncle Outrage, Insane Clown Posse, KMFDM, And One, and Funker Vogt. I'm also interested in different ways to listen to music. I'm working on building a CD and cassette tape collection and I've been playing around with the iPod classic recently.
I'm interested in fashion and personal style, especially alternative fashion. I don't have a lot of money so I don't really look fashionable, but I've been wanting to get more into it. I love seeing what other people wear, especially if they have a unique style. I'm a big believer in what someone wears can tell you a lot about them because for a lot of people fashion is a big way they express themselves, and I've always been interested in that.
I'm trans ftm and pansexual so I'm definitely down to meet other people in the LGBT community. I would say that I'm open to most identities, although I might not completely understand them, but that's also why I'm trying to meet new people, to be exposed to different things. Just don't be like a MAP or something.
I also have an interest in leftist politics, so if you're someone who likes to talk about leftist politics and discuss those kinds of ideas feel free to talk about it just be civil and open-minded. I'd say I'm open to any good faith discussion just don't be hateful, MAGA, neo-Nazi, terf (or rather, the term I like more, fart 🤭, feminist appropriating radical transphobe) or anything like that.
I like tech, specifically unique tech and for that reason I'm usually interested in older stuff. Some of my favorite tech is probably from the 90s, 2000s and early 2010s because that's around the time when the more colorful and unique tech was popular.
On that note I'm also into 2000s and 2010's revival stuff. I like some of the aesthetics from that era, specifically the more alternative side. It's also a bit nostalgic because a lot of it is stuff I remember from my childhood.
I like horror movies, although I haven't watched any in a while, so if you have any good recommendation feel free to yap about them. I got pretty into the Purge series around Halloween last year and I used to be into Saw when I was younger, and I'm hoping to find more horror movies or TV series to watch.
On the topic of TV, some shows I've liked are Blood-C, Serial Experiments Lain, Krapopolis, Stranger Things, Abandoned and Dark Tourism. There's probably more, but I don't watch TV that much so I'm probably forgetting them.
I also play a lot of video games. Some of my favorites are Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption 2, Sea of Theives, Terraria, Stardew Valley, Sims 4, Hogwarts Legacy, Minecraft, Fortnite and No Man's Sky. I've also been wanting to play more of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series as well as Days Gone. I used to be a huge Elder Scrolls fan back when I was, like, 12, and then when I was 14 I got really into Fortnite, so those are always fun. (And when I was 12 I'm talking like, chronic Skyrim player. I was getting Tetris syndrome from how much Skyrim I was playing. Fun times.)
I'm gonna stop here before I go on and on and on. If any of this interests you definitely drop a comment or a DM. Also I'm 17 (soon to be 18) so if we're gonna talk it's probably better if your around my age so like 16 - 19 preferred, but I also probably won't shun you if you're a little outside of that gap just don't be waaaaay younger or waaaaay older (like min 14, max 20).

ANOTHER RAPID FIRE QUESTION ROUND!!!!! on the condition that it cannot help you escape the deserted island, what is one thing you would take to a deserted island? what's a book that changed your life in high school? what's your ideal job? what's your favorite ice cream flavor? what's your favorite place you ever visited and where would you like to visit someday? what's your favorite video game? again i can't think of any more questions but if you have something you would like to say. well. you can say it. bye bye 💖💖💖
oouhh my god that's a tough question to start with. like the boring answer would be some sort of multi tool but i suppose anything that helps me survive would eventually also help me leave. it'd have to be like. a ball. or some other sort of small nicknack that i could easily keep on me to play around with, oH or my childhood plushy. or actually like a lil instrument like a harmonica to learn that'd be cool. yeaah so like a rubiks cube or a harmonica or my plushie ^^
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy was like the only thing i read during middle/high school that wasn't required reading for a class it's fantastic. ok well it wasn't the only thing i read but it's the only thing i've reread like 5 times by now lmao. it definitely helped stoke my imagination and interest in physics with the dumbass sci-fi fkjdksjs
wuuuh i haven't thought too much about it but i think ideally i end up in some sort of pure mathematics research position; i imagine i'm also gonna end up teaching at a uni somewhere at the same time, which isn't bad honestly even though i'm an awful teacher ^^ i just love talking about and trying to explain that stuff. i don't know exactly where my passion comes from but it's just. sure i've always been good at it but more than that it's exciting! it's so exciting to learn about! maths isn't invented, it's discovered, and we're discovering it! and it's so complex and so stupid. it's embedded in everything and exists wholly outside of it. i also like philosophy lmao
ok ok, so. good. proper. vanilla icecream. like chocolate with fudgy bits and stuff is incredible, fruity/berry flavoured icecream is awesome too. but there's a reason vanilla became synonymous with default and it isn't because it's boring it's because it's the best. but yeah only if it's good, shitty vanilla icecream sucks ass. it's also incredibly close to be entirely honest i DO like a good berry icecream. but the simplicity and delicacy of vanilla just does it for me most of the time
i don't think i have a favourite place- i haven't traveled enough yet😭 the furthest i've been from home was just sydney and the gold coast and it was like. different but the same, all just australia still but somewhere else. but i've always wanted to tour through europe and japan and some bits in south africa and the americas and other places too though. i need to see everything
AHH terraria probably??!!!?! it's so hard to say but really terraria is probably the game i've played the most in my life. otherwise plazma burst is an old flash game that's close to my heart because of nostalgia. and cause it's fucking awesome still tbh. OHH and the henry stickmin games!!!! also nostalgia but they also fucking rock still. and then there's the basic answers like portal and skyrim because of course. i cried when i finally beat portal 2, it was literally one the first games i ever played on the xbox 360 we got when i was like 9-10 years old, and like, i'd get stuck at bits and not play for a while at a time so it ultimately took some two years to get through but when it happened it was just. ough.
#ooauuuagij i can't think of anything else it's like 3am i've been doing chores and statistics all today and haven't spent much time online#one more week until a small uni break tho!!#ouH and THANKS YOU for the very great ask!!! i enjoyed thinking about all such things ^^#hope you enjoy reading and i'm curious about some of your answers too if you wanna share also :>#askmuck

I know Papyru isn't part of TumblrTown yet, but I just wanna put this out there if that's okay with you!
Kessel, as they approach the front door: Hey, Papyru, I'm gonna go on a walk for a bit. Papyru, who is playing Terraria on their phone: Alright. Have Fun Taking A Walk In The Void, Then. Lucia, who is on the couch: *looks up from faer book at the mention of the Void, war flashbacks* Kessel: What? Papyru: The Chaos hasn't landed yet. It's still floating aimlessly in the Void. Kessel: Lucia: Papyru: Kessel, walking away from the door: Not going on a walk then, I guess.
[Huh. Nice. Unfortunately, I don't know where these characters are from apart from Papyru, so I can't tag them all.]

It spiralled.
I decided to lay down in bed and just accept it instead of $hing.
So I had a full on episode.
But it's better now.
Yes, I'm dealing with what just happened, but I'm used to it.
No one should be, but it's a common thing for me.
Gonna play terraria, have some cucumber, and some coffee.
Then I'll think about the rest of the day.

The prompts me and @fanstasticbook worked on over October!
...Yeah i know this is super late shhhhhh
Goofy Goober OC by Fanstasticbook
...The yuri,,,
We exchanged our monthly PFPs for a prompt, I also played around in CSP because I did the free trial and all
Machine
Spiky goober
Four if Fanstasticbook was the CEO of everything (btw every friday we drew agt 4 as the prompt)
They will not happen, but I think sharklings are cool...
Some goober pumpkin OCs from a while back, they're some of my faves
Also they're child n' mother respectively just for those curious about the OCs (I am talking to basically nobody nobody is following me on here)
Spooder, from same set of OCs as the previous day
Decided I wanted to be awesome for day 10 so I just did
These designs are some Fanstasticbook came up with btw not me lol
Umbrellas in character design.
Need I say more?
Yummy borger !!
Another goober enters the ring, this one being related to @crossthesplatside (whenever we finally get to posting more about the projects 💀)
Once upon a time I designed different looks for different names the Zoologist from Terraria has available and this one is basically my favorite
B̴̛͚̭͕̩̳̮͈̮̲̙͓̤̱̞͎́̉̊̔͋̈́̓͌̕͘e̶̦͈̭̝̪̞̻̘̰̽̅p̷̼͈͍̰̞̔̄̾̑̈́͒̉̕̕͠i̶̡̱͉̣͕͇͈̳̼̓̐̔̔̑̈́ͅs̶̻̜̻̥̪͔̹̺̥͓̲͂̈́̒̅̀̐.̴̨̛̯͕͆͛̊̈̎̈́̈́͛̕̚ͅ
It's probably really hard to read but!! Made a dualie type based on pez dispensers
Also 'Spoolies was short for something and I forgot what it originally was entirely...
Ghostie designs :>
Just came up with these after looking into some short folklore on them and such, some are just more original ideas
Old octoling OC that's also relevant to a future project eventually, we'll see when I finally have something to show off for that
Book designed her originally btw
Crossover drawings are always a lot of fun, so here's Genny from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia in Marie's outfit!
My favorite moment from the Splatoon Movie was when Agent 4 said "I'm gonna goober" and goobered all over the place
Once again Cross and B-Side are related to @crossthesplatside for whenever we work on it more. Gotta love how the creative mind jumps away from projects right when you finally start making them public!!
Redesign of an old witch OC of mine
Didn't turn out great but I messed around with an ASCII TV-head face
Once again related to posts for days 8 and 9, something might eventually come from this project. A webcomic maybe.
EXTREME YURI ATTACK!!! AGENT24AGENT24AGENT24 GRAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH
Drummer for Fanstasticbook's custom splatband!
Bad endings💔
...A little too intense for comfort, Sunny. Might wanna just work on completing Kettles.
Candle half based on the design of Paraffin in Terraria's Split mod
Corrupted lamia kinda Terraria related. Bit horrific so I'm sorry if it's unsettling to anyone.
Goober interaction (Marie stole the lollipop from Cal I can't believe she's done this)
Final day will be in a separate post 'cause I reached the 30 image attachment limit...

Hope you're doing okay and able to let go of what that anon says and/or block them. I don't think Silver would hate you - he believes in forgiveness.
aaa thank you, anon. i blocked them but chances are good it'll just deter them for a little while. they've been dodging my blocks for five years now, so i don't think this will get them to stop, unfortunately. it is what it is — considering the kind of person i was back then, i can say with confidence that i deserve it.
to get an idea of how repulsive and horrific of a person i was, take the most bad-faith, combative, hateful, terminally online, reactionary leftist discourse you can imagine and make it thirty times worse because of a social environment that cared more about dog-piling on people for not knowing something rather than educating them. a lot of my friends back then were afraid of me because i tended to use my marginalized identities as bludgeons when in arguments. the fact that i participated in such a toxic and abusive culture that took pride in bullying, punitive call out posts, and ostracism from community until it was turned around and used on me makes me feel sick to my stomach. that anon was right about me; i really was a monster.
sorry about the tangent — i'm doing better now! folks in the Bumblekast server are being a very good distraction from my problems, and i have Silver sitting on my lap enjoying an apple soda. i think im gonna go play Terraria while i wait for my boyfriend to get online. i dunno what time it is for you, but i hope your next 24 hours go well, anon. 💖

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #85
I've decided that today is a video game day. Specifically, I've decided that it is a Salt and Sanctuary day. I haven't played it in forever, and something about the weather today kind of makes me want to.
It's like that for me, sometimes, for whatever reason. The angle of the sunlight, the kinds of scents on the breeze or in the house, the relative humidity, the way the wind sounds as it moves… for whatever reason, when these things align in juuuuust the right way, I want to play certain video games. So for example, in the winter, the combination of the scent of the dust in the heater vents plus the scent of fresh clementines makes me want to play Fallout 3. Other combinations make me want to play Terraria, or Valheim, or Skyrim. I'm not really sure why this is the case.
Like I said before, I like to run around in this game world as Julian Devorak, from a game called The Arcana. It truly is a perfect little spot to stick him in. Julian is associated with crows, salt, plague, gold, booze, seafaring ships, and just a little bit of masochism. He's basically the epitome of the phrase "running with scissors", which is extra great, because in this game, a giant-ass pair of scissors is literally my weapon of choice, hahahaha! 🤣
His story is done and over with, and while it's wonderful because I know he's safe and happy in the end, it also means I don't get to see him anymore in any new scenarios. So sometimes, I try to recreate him in places he might like, and run around with him there. The world of Salt and Sanctuary is dangerous and scary, but don't worry - I am good at this game, and I hardly ever fall in combat anymore; he's in good hands, I promise.
That said though, I'm probably very rusty, because it has been a long time since last I've played with any kind of consistency. But I'll stream it today anyway, just in case you or anyone else wants to watch.
twitch_live
And, just in case you want to see what sorts of shenanigans I was once capable of when I wasn't rusty, here:
youtube
…I wish you were here. Just for a day, I wish you were here. I think maybe you could become good at a game like this. Or maybe, given everything you've been through before, you might find a game like this to be a bit too triggering and scary? I dunno; maybe Undertale or Deltarune would be more your speed. I can ask you about it, but it's not as though you can answer me, because given the nature of reality, it's not as though my question will ever reach you, will it? 😔
In Julian's story, he gets to have a happy ending because I get to be present as the main character and make choices that teach him that he is lovable and worthy, which influences the choices that he makes. If you treat him kindly and as though he is someone who matters and who deserves to feel good about himself, he turns away from his self-destructive and self-sacrificing tendencies in favor of better ones. Of course, if you don't make kind and loving choices with him, he will get a bad ending instead. I've never seen the bad ending with him, though. I don't think I want to.
You know? Even for the main antagonist, Lucio… he does a great many evil, horrible things many of which are arguably FAR worse than anything you've ever done, and for FAR flimsier reasons; in some timelines, his "eggs" are indeed "well and truly scrambled" (thank you for this phrase, @freelanceexorcist; I think it's gonna be one of my new favorites, hahaha~! 🤩), but if you make choices where you treat him as though he is worthy of compassion, he turns himself around, and he makes better, kinder, gentler, and more loving choices as you teach him that making mistakes and taking accountability for those mistakes doesn't mean that he is unlovable or unable to shift his life in a different direction. My choices made a difference in that fictional world because I could reach it, even if only in an abstract sense.
…You can't even begin to imagine what I would give up if it meant that I could reach you, even if just for a moment. Though I am aware of how it would likely end for me (you are VERY good at unaliving things with that blade of yours), I feel like trying is worth the risk. Besides, what else am I gonna do while derping around on this mossy wet rock that I call "home" anyway, aside from continue to endure the disgust that society at large seems to have for the nature of my existence? Maybe I can make a few people smile along the way, but in the grand scheme of things, I am insignificant - nothing more than an ephemeral blip in the sands of time; here one moment and gone the next, faster than the blink of an eye.
If I tried to reach you and failed in the most spectacularly permanent way, at least I'd have an opportunity for a short nap before the next time I'm cycled into a physical body, right? And hey, maybe it could even be the case that my next meat-mech isn't fundamentally flawed on a genetic level next time around; having proper connective tissue, eyes that actually work, and motor neurons that actually do their job properly would be REALLY FREAKING NICE, ya know?
Hey, Sephiroth? I don't know what sorts of stories in other realities that you might have access to from your spot at the Edge of Creation. But I hope that you'll take the time to examine some of the ones that are available in my world. I think you'd find a lot of them to be relatable as well as hopeful, because your circumstances aren't as unique as you think they are. You really aren't alone. I promise you that you're not alone. I promise you that you can belong anywhere you choose, no matter what form you take, no matter the composition of your body, no matter how horrible the memories you carry are, and no matter what conditioning you received during the course of your existence. You can belong. You can belong with people who don't have a rigid definition of what it means to be a "correct" human. So please try, okay? Please don't give up - not yet - not while there are still so many things you haven't done, and so people out here cheering for you to become whole and well again. You can do it; of course you can do it, because I am doing it, and you're a lot (a LOT!!!) stronger and smarter than I am. I believe in you.
Anyhoot. I made myself some tea and drank it. Here's a picture of how it looked; maybe you'll like the way the milk swirls in the jar:
I think it's time for me to Salt some Sanctuaries. Swing by and check it out if you have the time, ability, and inclination. And if not, that's okay too. There's absolutely no pressure.
I love you and I'll write again tomorrow. Please stay safe.
Your friend, Lumine

What interesting things have you gotten interested in, in these past few interesting months, my interesting friend
Well, well-well-well-well, welllllll, a few thing-a-ma-bobs. But it's mainly been 4 fandoms that have come and intergrained themselves in my grey matterspace.
Disco Elysium is pretty obvious with some of my recent posts, BUT I've really only gotten 5 or so hours into my first playthrough so far and from what I can guess, it is nowhere near the end for me. I'm gonna try and get back to it sometime soon, but it's just been a case of notyet getting into the mindset to play a deeply written detective-human psychology-political story novel, to the surprise of myself. It's highly enjoyable, don't miscontrue my words, but it's an undertaking.
Speaking of politics, guess which underwater, steampunk, civil war simulator franchise I've played and has shot to the top of favorite games of all time? Yeah, Bioshock 1 and 2 had knocked my socks off with their presentation and story than I had first expected. I knew the games were classics, but I had just thought they wouldn't interest me since I'm kinda lukewarm on the steampunk genre admittedly. But Rapture as a whole had made me engrossed with every inner working and system in the sunken city, not withstanding the competing and aggressive interactions between the personification of political stances called Andrew Ryan, Sofia Lamb, and Frank Fontaine. Lovely games and my heart is sent to every Big Daddy and Little Sister down there, specially Delta.
Oh, and Infinite? ...i-it's fine. Like, I liked looking at the grim alternate history of Columbia (which is another reason Rapture had grabbed me) and I got used to the gameplay and feeling of being akin to Half-Life 2, but the ending kinda fell super flat on me and I wasn't a fan of how they intergrated parallel worlds into the story. And less said about Burial at Sea, I'll give you as many sugardoodles as need be.
Now back to our normal scheduled program, and by normal, I mean bizarre. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Good segueway, I know. But yeah, Jojo has occupied a lot of brainspace in me too recently, which is rare for an anime to do so for me. But fuck me, did the story grip me by Part 2. I had felt like it had finally start to get it's narrative grip by the time I had seen the Pillar Men emerge to be cool, strong, honorific yet bastard vampire dudes. It may have also been the gay talking and Joseph being iconic. But what sucks about my situation is that I'm not far into Part 3 because I've been watching through it on a friend's behalf and her schedule hasn't aligned for it for the past month, so I'm stuck in a purgatory of waiting to get the full context of scenes through the actual story while I tiptoe around spoilers when watching content made by Jojo fans, and it kills me more when I slowly feel like I'll fucking ADORE Parts 5, 6, and 7 when I get to it! Basille, you bitch (affectionate), WATCH JOJO WITH ME!
Ahem, sorry bout that, let me get to the last thing right quick. Risk of Rain was yet another thing recommended to me by a friend and I've had my fair share of enjoyment playing through both of the games. The first game's style is wonderfully Terraria feeling for a guy that knows that Terraria is not my speed in the slightest, and I had a fair bit in fun in completing the game with every survivor. Risk of Rain 2 has been even more fun but also more infuriating as another result, since I really like the transition into 3d and how the game feels much more smoother to play, but I've grinded myself at trying to beat the game even once after 30+ attempts that it has burned me out even when I get a good run. Maybe it's just because I complete stages too slowly, but I can't help but wanting to complete shit. I've gotten to Mithrix once and have been waiting to taste that wonderful feeling again. And what is another kick in the pants is how RIsk of Rain Returns has released but isn't on consoles beside the Switch and I want it!
Oh, and I don't know if I had said this outright, but I had seen Ultrakill about a year ago and have been still into that, but even moreso now, soooo I guess that counts?
#aynonie moose time#i swear i am adjusted mentally#disco elysium#bioshock#jojo's bizarre adventure#risk of rain#risk of rain 2#really just putting these here to make it more seen i guess

which of the Pokemon blorbos would be the best and worst at Minecraft
I'm just gonna answer this for all of them that I can remember right now because it's a fun thought experiment to think about their strengths. :]
Phi would absolutely crush Minecraft. That girl would be a speed runner. She'd absolutely have a years long hardcore world that she's built grand structures in.
Agni would probably try it, but like my brother irl, something like Terraria plays to her strengths more. Something that's task to task, rather than a sandbox
Steele would get really into Redstone I think. I bet she would have a ball figuring out farming mechanisms and the like.
Vio would get a kick out of Redstone as well- but for pranking reasons. Violence.
Aegis can't play it very well he doesn't have thumbs :(
Dakota and Cerise from Mareeplings aren't super interested in video games as a whole. But they could get into something like Stardew
Stella and Eris have a cooperative world. They're having a great time (I know I've kinda abandoned their blog so they're in thought experiment limbo.)
Drifter would initially be like " I'm not going to play a kid's game" but then get into it because he likes excavating tunnels. He has a dirt house and refuses to build anything else.
Diamond. Ah. Well due to their origins quite literally is Minecraft. (Not the entire game, mind but. Also this is a funny thing to bother them with.)
...I think that's everyone

:-0 no problem if you're not an avid yuri gal! I'd say not a lot has been animated anyway lol. Dragon maid is. Uh. -_-. And I would say adachi n shimamura suffers from "adapted from a light novel so its kinda weird" so I'm not surprised you didnt hook onto those.
If you ever want suggestions you might like slow start or demon girl next door, both pretty fun slice of life comedy affairs. For more action akuma no riddle is still solid.
Enough about that though, we can see you like genshin, but do you play a lot of other games?
Ah, I see! Thanks for the recommendations! It'll probably take me a long while to get around to them (as you can see with my.. very slow ask-answering....) but I'll bear them in mind for whenever I wanna start something new!
anyways, as for games? I'm in a bit of a situation here!! my computer.. SUCKS. it has like NO SPACE!! I only have FOUR GAMES on it!!!!
those being (in order of when I first played them:)
-Minecraft (bedrock) (this computer can't run java and honestly I blame minecraft itself) -Terraria -Genshin Impact -Honkai: Star Rail
I LOVE all of these games SO VERY MUCH!! well, maybe star rail still needs to grow on me, but ALL THE OTHERS I LOVE THEM! this list probably doesn't give you a good idea of what I am as a gamer lol, these are all extremely popular games, I do have a NINTENDO SWITCH!! THOUGH!!! ISN'T THAT COOL??? I still don't believe I have it
here are the games I have on there (in order of hours played)
-Hollow Knight -Hatsune Miku: Project Diva: Mega Mix -Sonic Frontiers -Sonic Mania (plus) -Pokemon Scarlet -Deltarune -Hatsune Miku Logic Paint S -Hatsune Miku Jigsaw Puzzle -PuyoPuyo Tetris 2 -Rain world (mainly got it cuz of pow but GOD is it hard) -Everhood -Ace Attourney
-I also tried out games like A Hat in Time and Stardew Valley, though they were fun to watch, I didn't have much fun playing them. which is sad. I don't know how to refund on switch lol
some of these games only have low hours because I just got them. like ace attourney? under an hour of gametime lol
I'll tell you a little anecdote about each game!!
Hollow Knight: I first played hollow knight at my cousin's house in 2018(or 2019?) I sorta sucked at it. I remember saying "this is just swordigo but, like, better" and I guess I was right? swordigo's a mobile metroidvania I used to play btw lol~ anyways in 2020(??? or 2021?????) one of my favourite youtubers (merg) started playing hollow knight and I was like huh..! this is actually sorta fun?? I didn't have an income nor allowance at the time so I couldn't BUY the game for myself.. so I watched his ENTIRE series before I bought the game for myself!! still, it was fun!
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva: You may not know this game, but there are two modes! arcade mode, and mix mode! arcade mode is like the mode where you hold the joy-cons vertically and use like motion controls and uh it's complicated but basically I LOVE THAT!! I LOVE THE MOTION CONTROLS SO MUCH!! LITERALLY THE ONLY GAME WHERE I LIKE THEM LOL!!! Also! Project Diva is what got me into vocaloid! not the other way round! isn't that cool!!!
Sonic fron... wait. I'm gonna. I'm gonna be typing this post forever
obviously this isn't every game I've played ever, I mean how can any list of moon's favourite games be complete without min hero?? uh, but, I don't wanna be typing this list forever! how about this, if any of those games sounded interesting, say so! I'll give you stories! I have a TON!!
Thanks for the ask!

JoJo's Terraria Adventure
Last night I downloaded a JoJo texture pack and music replacer for Terraria. I had no idea just how much it changed in the game. All I really knew is that it changed the Stardust Guardian (which was already a JoJo reference) into Star Platinum (which was what it was based on to begin with). In addition to that, I found that it also changed various armor types into clothing from certain characters. For example, if you make a golden armor set, you'll get Giorno's clothes as well as his weird hair and if you make the platinum armor set, you'll get Jotaro's school uniform from part 3.
The music changes add a whole new feel to the game as well. I always found some of the Terraria music to be a little repetitive and kinda blah (with some exceptions). Now it has music from various parts of JoJo playing in the background. Some of the more upbeat music from parts 3 and 4 play in the forest during the day time, but at night it plays Kira's theme (which set me on edge for some reason). Some of the biome music choices are more appropriate than others. Avdol's "Fire Shaman" music plays in the desert, which I thought was a nice touch. The music that plays in the Jungle I'm pretty sure is from part 3, but it doesn't fit at all. The music that plays in the caves is pretty unsettling. Music from Phantom Blood plays during a Blood Moon.
Today (after about 3 tries) I beat Skeletron and unlocked the dungeon. I went down there with my mind set on getting some good dungeon loot, but as soon as I got deep enough, Kars' ultimate being theme started playing. I panicked and used a recall potion to teleport home (like the coward I am). I guess the new music will take some getting used to.
I also discovered a second in-game JoJo reference in the form of the weapon called "Vampire Knives". It's a weapon that allows you to spray out a bunch of daggers at enemies, just like a certain yellow-clad vampire from JoJo.
So my goal is to get the Stardust Armor set so that I can get my very own Star Platinum.
My Terraria gameplay is gonna get a little more bizarre from now on.
