Most of my hinata headcanons are based on the fact that most people write him pretty shallowly- as nothing more than his height and love of volleyball, his need to fly, and the fact he's friendly. The really well written stuff writes him well, as a kind of enigma, but even then, one of his main traits is: Oh, he's pure sunshine!! His eyes shone with pride and determination, a hunger to win; to fly, etc, etc. Right? With most ships, it's just about how beautiful he looks in the sunset/sunrise with his hair and eyes. My point is that he's mischaracterized without really being mischaracterized because it's all *true*. he is absolutely gorgeous, and he does have a hunger to win and fly, and volleyball is his entire world, but there's sooooo much more still.

Normally, I hc him according to canon; according to scenes from the manga/anime, and then further analyzing it, yk? But I *truly* think hinata shoyo would be a good liar and hard to read.

It's already somewhat canon that people find him confusing, in the fact that he's a people pleaser and switches up really quickly to make people happy. He'll say something, and then someone will disagree, and he'll immediately switch up so that person won't dislike him for his different opinion, ykwim?

And then people never know what he's thinking, either. He's completely oblivious to his own feelings but is hyper aware of other people's feelings. He doesn't notice when he's running a fever of 102° but notices that someone has 2/5 symptoms of the flu 💀💀 like my guy can remember suuuuper specific details about a person's life, like the day their great aunt's cat died, but forgets his own bday.

He's actually really smart, but he's failing all his classes bc he can't focus. I think he'd be really good at math, but really only with like decimals and uhh money math, like he's good at calculating tax and saving money, but that's bc he grew up especially poor and had to be cautious with money. He'd probably be better with Japanese literature than English literature bc obvi that's his native language, and I think he'd really like linguistics post Brazil.

But, he also has his signature death stare, and I kinda came up with a hc based off it; since we all agree he has adhd, a part of it is zoning out, and i think he'll sit hunched over like L and just do his little death stare out to nothing or nowhere in particular, or will sit on his bed zoned out doing the death stare out towards the door, with the lights off, and someone will walk in and scream. He just randomly hunches over like L sometimes, and daichi will tell him that it's bad for his back, and he'll say, "But it's comfy :(" actually I think I'm just writing autistic hinata rn oopsies it's ok tho we love autism hcs here!!

Since he's really small (probably underweight actually), he can fit into really small spaces, and he thinks they're comfy (me guys). But at the same time, he loves big fields and gyms bc he likes to run around. Basically, he says and does really conflicting things, and it confuses people, which is another reason he was bullied in middle school.

He started doing the death stare as a defense mechanism in middle school actually, bc older, taller kids tried to use that to their advantage and bully him, but glaring at them weird made them walk away. Also, contrary to popular belief, I hc he can fight. So many people have just decided he's, like, too weak to fight or smth?? Like they think he can't defend himself physically, which I personally think he could, but yk, anxiety, so he doesn't. Like my guy is an athlete, have you seen him?? He may be small, but if he wasn't frozen in fear and anxiety, he could beat someone's ass!!

I said before I actually do think he could lie, bc one again, he's a people pleaser, and I feel like once when he was a kid, a family friend or someone or like when he was at a friend's house, they made dinner and he didn't like it, so he lied about liking it, but the person knew he lied and called him out on it and he cried bc he lied abt liking it and lying is bad, but also telling them he didn't like the food is rude, which is also bad. So then he decided he'd learn how to lie. Also, ik he uses his height and baby face to his advantage!! ***Depending on the person*** he can get away with just about anything bc "🥺🥺🥺" and then when everybody else calls him out for it he's like "L fuck you hehehe 😜💪💪" Like he drew a 🍆 pp on the wall or something once and then blamed it on kageyama and the teacher believed him.

And even though he's a people pleaser, he's managed to find peace in playing pranks and being mean, in a normal teenager way ofc, because suga helped him come out of his shell (suga purely bc he is mischievous but still responsible and nice)(and then suga asks Asahi why he can't be like hinata bc Asahi can barely even write with pencil on a desk, let alone sharpie anything so 'vulgar' on school property (it's not *just* because he's scared bc it's vulgar it's also bc he doesn't think those kinds of jokes are funny, and simply doesn't understand why writing on school property is fun (that's how I feel, idk 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️) ))

BTW, guys, half of these are to spite my friend who calls hinata a "bean 🥺" even though she's not on Tumblr. Also, I think I'm gonna start organizing these kinds of posts so they're easier to read, haha. Does anyone want any character specific hc posts since I always do hinata?

yeah it's not very good but this is like the best thing I've ever drawn. So I'll take it. Anyways, long ramble under the cut

Let's start with his personality. Branch, while under the string's influence, is very chill and relaxed. He prefers to go with the flow and let everyone do their own thing. But he is also very smug and likes to get under people's (Poppy's) skin. He is also the lead singer of Kismet, who he considers his (cooler) brothers

Now, when he was younger, after his grandmother got eaten. He was terrified to learn that he had turned grey. Branch started to spiral, wondering how he was going to be liked by the Pop Trolls now, how his brothers would think of him. He would be an outcast! An embarrassment to them! He couldn't go to Pop Village looking like... this! Those were his thoughts before he accidentally stumbled on the Pop string. Branch hadn't meant to find it, nor did he plan on searching for it. Sure, he knew the strings existed, but he didn't really care much for the stories. He was just wandering, lost in his own thoughts

Then, he got an idea

He knew it was a stupid idea, it was ridiculous. A single string wouldn't be able to make him forget about all his problems. But he was willing to try anything at this point. He had to try. So he did. He pointed the string at himself and gave it a little flick. He closed his eyes and braced himself, expecting it to hurt, when he felt nothing, he opened his eyes, panic already seeping in again. Until he looked at his paws

He was blue. It worked

Branch quickly sprinted to the nearest place where he could see his reflection. He was colorful, and he smiled. He was perfect

Okay so one thing to know about the antidepressant string is that Branch still has way more agency than he would if he used all the strings. Like, yeah the string made him happy and gave him color, but other than that, he could basically do whatever. If he used all the strings to make himself a Pop Zombie or something, his eyes would be flat out pink. But since he only used the Pop string, he has just, like, a glint of pink in his eyes. Everyone just thinks it's heterochromia and doesn't really question it

ALSO 👏 since I headcanon Canon!Branch as autistic, Evil Pop!Branch is also autistic. And since he thinks for the longest time he would be abandoned if the Pop Trolls figured out he's actually grey, he got really good at masking. The only people who knew about Branch's autism was Kismet, and later Poppy. (ADHD queen and autism king)

So during the first movie, the Pop Trolls actually end up getting Chef's attention because Poppy and Branch were trying to one up each other. Like, who can get the brightest lights, who can sing the loudest, etc. And during their ✨journey✨ they constantly butt heads, their arguing also ends up getting them into trouble. It isn't until their sitting in front of the campfire that Branch made that they have a heart-to-heart, and they realize they have more in common than they realize. They become much closer after that, which doesn't go unnoticed by the Snack Pack

"Wait, are Banch and Poppy... laughing? And joking together? I thought they hated each other."

"I dunno, man. A lot of things can happen during the adventure of a lifetime. Wait, is she... serenading him???"

"W H A T?????"

now the second movie... oof. okay. So yeah Branch is out stealing all the strings. But things quickly take a turn when he learns about his brothers' whereabouts. John is out living in the woods, just like it's always been for the past twenty years. He can't help but sigh as he looks at a picture of Bitty B. The youngest BroZone member, but also the cutest. He wonders what he's up to now. Just then he distantly sees a bunch of things flying over him, distantly hearing someone cackling evilly (like those things the Rock Trolls were flying in, I don't know what they're called)

Their next destination is Vacay Island, where Bruce and Floyd are currently residing. Floyd had just finished serving a customer before a familiar-looking troll swung the doors open, quickly yelling out orders to his little army to ransack the place, steal whatever they want. Bruce didn't know what was happening, he just knew he had to protect the kids. He didn't know where Floyd is, but he can fend for himself... right? He quickly tries to help Brandy gather up the kids and try to hide them. Meanwhile Floyd is hiding under a pile of floaties, through the cracks he catches glimpses of a blue troll. He looks so familiar but doesn't at the same, his hair grown out, going all the way down his back. He's wearing a Hawaiian shirt, much like what Bruce always wears. He is also pretty muscular, much more than Floyd could ever dream of being. But it's also certain mannerisms that the troll does that catches his attention. The way his tail sweeps across the ground, how he drums his foot against the ground when he's aggravated, it wasn't until he spoke that it confirmed Floyd's thoughts

Branch

Eventually they leave and set off to the next location, Bruce is calling for him. He calls back. Bruce is talking, panicked, but Floyd isn't listening. It wasn't until Floyd spoke that Bruce got quiet.

"Bitty B..."

"...What?"

"The... The leader. The one who was ordering the trolls around, telling them to ruin this place.... That was Branch."

Now it's time to pay the Putt Putt trolls a visit. Okay so I'm gonna skim over this one a little bit but let's just say they fuck up that place as well and Branch tries to kill Clay (I might make a comic about that if you peeps like the above drawing)

It isn't until the ending that he's really important. So Branch ends up capturing Barb, since she lies about being the ruler of the Rock Trolls. And then yeah they get the strings and turn everyone into Pop Zombies. And then... the reveal happens.

Branch is mortified, Riff's accusation was repeating itself in his head

"You've been using that string on yourself, haven't you?"

And he couldn't deny it, he couldn't say anything. All eyes were on him, he couldn't say some snide remark, a snarky comment, a smug or witty retort. He couldn't even roll his eyes. All he could do, was stare.

"Branch... is this true?" Peppy. Poppy's father, the ex-king of the Pop Trolls, and the father Branch never had. He couldn't bare to look at him, to see the look of disappointment and anger in his eyes, in anyone's eyes.

Then Barb speaks up

"You... can't be doing that. You can't just force yourself to be happy!"

And Branch just... fucking loses it. Who do these Rock Trolls think they are? They're trying to humiliate him, to get him thrown out.

He would not let that happen

Barb can see Branch walking over to her, his glare is dark and dangerous. She can see the crowd staring at her, Riff seems terrified for Barb's life. And she panics.

And she breaks them

The strings are gone

And everything is grey

Everything that Branch has been working for is gone. He tried so hard to be the most-loved troll in the village, to be colorful, to be perfect. It was all for nothing. And it's all the Rock Trolls' fault

and then yeah things happen and Barb ends racism :D (can you tell I'm getting tired)

And we still have the third movie :')

So y'all know for the third movie that Branch is the one that gets kidnapped and BroZone plus Poppy and Creek tag along to save him. Meanwhile Branch is sad because he thinks no one is going to come for him because he believes no one will want anything to do with him after the events of World Tour :(

Lilli killed her family in an accident that was somehow her fault, like a manipulated car or broken electrical wires and that’s how she ended up in the monastery. might have been childlike wonder to mess with stuff like that or just evil spirited, maybe even revenge for abuse? i will let you decide. she’s also non-verbal due to autism and social anxieties (the latter was induced my bullying). her full name is Lilli Grimm in reference to Lillegrimm, her dnd character. in my mind, she’s between 9-13 years old so i don’t really have a sexuality headcanon for her.

Edna is an autistic, adhd and bisexual legend. might even say she’s non-binary/doesn’t care about gender or what pronouns people use on her. Harvey is product of her schizophrenic tendencies and intrusive thoughts ^_^

Dr. Marcel is obviously the worst single dad to ever exist. he is allergic to watermelons and hates everything enjoyable, hence why the best thing that his sons have ever enjoyed was grey, unseasoned chicken with mushy vegetables, cooked to death. Alfred was granted good ol’ Maggi, center piece of the Marcel kitchen, and Ruben (the phantom) got actual dog food when he didn’t behave and was locked into the family home’s basement before being banished into the asylum.

Alfred and Ruben did actually have a good relationship growing up, only in the years when Alfred was already dead and Ruben was locked in, his hatred began to grow and grow to be distracted from the grief he was feeling.

Ruben is also a non-binary legend, his early expression of not fitting into the gender binary was also one of the reasons why his father tried to “fix him”. So when he was locked in the asylum’s basement, he chose a genderless being as his persona. based ruben

🦾 A disability headcanon

Hmm, i dont know much about physical disabilities like i do mental, so i dont write them often in case i say or do something wrong with the subject.

cause Red, Nezha and SWK are autistic in my mind. Macaque has depression, Mk is Audhd and Mei is Adhd. Tang is also Autism. Swk is also Dyslexic.

hmmm, the other disabilities i have in mind for these characters would probably be Nezha's Magic limitations, where he has so much of it that if he lets it overflow his body will litterally shatter and revert to a lotus till he can reform. I sometimes like to think that when Erlang stabbed his spear through Swk's shoulders swk still has chronic pain from that bc it was left there for hours to keep him from fighting and drag him to heaven.

Nezha gets aches in his chest sometimes from...well yeah. that whole situation. Macaque gets cold sometimes, at least back when he still had lbd's magic in him. he'd get really really cold whenever he's upset, cold enough he needs a blanket. and its mostly bc of her magic reaction to negative emotions.

Macaque, Nezha, Swk, Mk, Red and Mei all suffer from nightmares.

Macaque has nightmares about swk hunting him down to "send him back to the land of the dead" or about the day h was killed. and in Tangled star's case. He gets nightmares about Swk taking away Xiaohua.

Nezha has nightmares about his childhood, about being back in that house. About thunderstorms and dragons. roaring waters filled with the blood of his innocent friends. of the dragon e slayed coming back to swallow him whole and he's powerless to do anything about it. theres also the nightmare he has about his secret being revealed to all of heaven but that dream doesnt startle him awake screaming.

Swk has nightmares about all the bloodshed that happened on ffm, the burning, the war, then being tortured in heaven, the journey...the circlet....

he has nightmares about losing everything he has right now, even if its not much. Losing mk to the fire or some other demon. losing nezha, losing the new friends he's made . whether it be in a fight or to time.

Mk has nightmares about everything thats happened in the past, the villians winning and he failed to protect his friends. the samadhi fire...lbd. and recently he's had nightmares about being the villian...

Mei also has nightmares about lbd sometimes but she mostly dreams about losing control of the samadhi fire. whether its still possible or not. nightmares about losing Mk or any of her friends because she couldnt save them. she tured her back for one second and suddenly thier all gone.....

to fix this just grab em and let them pile on top of each other and suddenly nightmares are gone. cuddles are the most efficient to stop the nightmares. Mk and mei often have sleepovers and only sometimes play around. is mostly so they can hold each other and fall asleep.

Nezha will sometimes join them, he thinks he can handle the nightmares alone but the more time he spends with mk and mei the more time he finds himself inbetween his sibings.

he sometimes goes to swk too, swk is more used to dealing with the nightmares alone so when mk and mei realise he has nightmares too they break into his house with nezha carryign pillows and blankets and then all of them crash on top of him.

macaque. he's the one that struggles with them the most. he doesnt believe he has anyone to go to for these nightmares so even if he desperatly wants help he doesnt have anyone to go to. even as he sobs and holds himself on his bed and begs silently for help no one will come.

Then mk and mei find out about the nightmares and kidnap him.

they drag him to ffm where nezha and swk are already set up, they seperate swk and mac bc of the subject of macs nightmares and then plop on top of him. Lil Nezha stays with swk.

fluffy monkey makes good matress. and he's nice and cold so thats a plus.

macaque hasn't slept this well in AGES.

Swk is wondering how mk managed to move so much in his sleep his head is on Macs chest and his legs are on swk's chest.

things that make 3 the best game:

lots of cool features added. the crank-a-kai system in 3 is better than in 1 and 2 (though also the darts suck), the new yo-kai searching minigame thingie is neat, the yo-kai vacuum cleaner is nice and the yo-kai drill and yo-kai blaster add unique mechanics (the drill leads to neat secrets), i could probably go on.

all of the new characters are great. as is to be expected nate's bbq classmates/friends n hailey's classmates are pretty underdeveloped but they seem neat from what we see of them. and of course, hailey n buck are the stars of the show here. they're both great n make both stories equally fun. usapyon's also great, i KNOW he debuted in blasters but his personality is extremely different there- the weakest of the new characters are probably blunder n folly since they basically don't do anything for the whole game except inexplicably act like they're plot important when they're not but even they can be neat n there's funni comedy with them at least.

blasters t is fun. it's hell but it's fun.

the story's great too. there being two different stories for most of the game is a really interesting idea, though it can also be annoying if you want to progress one story but can't because you need some fancy that! issue you get in hailey's story as nate or something dumb like that. why's all the story linking hailey doing things n then getting stuff done as nate i only just realized that what the fuck. anyways.

there's soooooo much content. both in the main game and the post-game. the main game alone took me like, a week to complete, whereas my playthroughs of 1 and 2 take like, four days at most (2 has added time from grinding for dame dedtime so ignoring that). and i'm STILL going through the post-game. there's so many post-game quests and other fun things you can do, like going to bbq as hailey (which is useless. she can't go on the raft or do zombie night or anything. she's limited in things she can do in bbq but nate can do everything in springdale) n also just the stuff you'd expect from yo-kai watch's post-game.

did i mention that hailey n buck are amazing n that i love them. best yo-kai watch characters apart from jibanyan.

oh also nate, hailey n buck being besties is amazing. nate getting friends who can also see yo-kai n who aren't his dead grandpa is great good for him he deserves it.

i can't decide if the length is good or bad. i guess i already mentioned how long it is. i have like 100 hours of playtime and i've only finished two blasters t dungeons what will my playtime be like once i finish blasters t and the post-game and everything-

i mean i feel like you could make some sort of argument for most yo-kai watch characters being neurodivergent in some shape, way or form. though i'm saying this as a neurodivergent person who ends up headcanoning like every character i like as neurodivergent n has no idea how neurotypicals work so- i high-key accidentally made katie neurodivergent in my rewrite ngl i've just accepted it at this point.

<As an auDHD!steve headcanoner, I also add that extra layer in my head: The serum provides stamina, but not necessarily skill. Steve's autism becomes easier to actively mask with because of the increased energy but conversely, it becomes more difficult to suppress stimming behavior because of the pent up energy. (He further masks his urge to stim by boxing, because sketching wont cut it sometimes.) It also becomes easier to master skills in wartime because he can hyperfocus under pressure already, but his body has caught up to accommodate fatigue, and actually require such drastic learning schedules to function.>

TLDR; in my opinion the serum doesn't cure autism or ADHD... and most mental disorders that you're born with are only changed by 1)how much stamina and tolerance and 2) how fast of a metabolism you now have Eg: it's gonna be hard if you're an addict because you metabolize toxins too fast to get high and you'll be forced to stay clean after getting the serum. You probably still gonna be dyslexic etc.

But to answer your question @melles1276 ,, in diseases like Alzheimer's and parkinson's where neurons degenerate... it depends on whether the neurons will if the body has consistent metabolism. As of now, science has not figured out the root cause of either of these diseases, so as of this year.... you can actually headcanon it!

If you headcanon bad lifestyle habits and the like are a factor in neuron degeneration... then the effects of the super serum would mitigate it by metabolizing and toxins that enter the body through said lifestyle. And the disease would be avoided.

If you headcanon otherwise and take unchangeable genetic factors into consideration.... yeah. He can get diseases like that.

Alternatively if you take into account the electroshock stuff Bucky had to go through, he'd lose a significant amount of neurons in his hippocampus (memory region) that can cause dementia- like symptoms.

On the topic of superheroes getting cancer... we have missed an important guy:

Ik his fate was written to respect Chadwick Boseman but consider how it could fit into canon: the heart shaped herb, which has similar effects to the serum is made from a flower irradiated by a vibranium meteorite. Vibranium glows, so I'm assuming it's supposed to be radioactive.

Every Black Panther ingests a radioactive juice but only this one dies?

The only thing he did before this was fight in the Endgame battle... where I assume he was exposed to a lot of space radiation with the Thanos villain guns and all.

It's likely that his unique version of the serum didn't react well to the combination, so maybe different versions of the serum have different processing of radiation.

The whole vita ray thing was basically a controlled unnatural mass cell growth- so using combinations of serum and radiation would probably knock other supersoldiers up with a form of cancer where the serum's fast regeneration goes wayyy out of control.

I have a few questions for you and I'm fairly certain that you've probably been asked them before, so I apologize if this has been the case. I'm relatively new to fandom (only since 2020). But I keep wondering if there is some illness that Bucky could suffer from. I'm thinking of things like: E.g. stroke, aneurysm, heart attack, Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease. Would there be any impact in the long term? Or does the serum prevent him from generally getting such “diseases of civilization”? Or, if he suffers from it, does the serum help him to recover where a "normal" human being wouldn't been able to? It's said in some places that Hydra didn't use the same serum that Steve got, so it might perhaps be within the realm of possibility (I mean, we're talking about non-existent things like super soldier serum) that such "side effects " may occur? I know you're not a medical professional, but I really value your opinion and in-depth knowledge of Bucky and have enjoyed reading many of your assessments of him.

In TFATWS Isaiah spoke of his squad of men all dying from the effects of the serum. In the comics, Isaiah did have two major weaknesses as a side effect of the serum: he got early dementia and he was rendered infertile. I feel like the serum, if it was flawed, would kill rapidly because of how powerful its effects on cells are. It's supposed to increased strength, endurance, stamina, speed, healing and longevity; we also know that it increased metabolism of alcohol (and maybe other drugs too).

But what are the side effects on increasing strength, stamina and speed? Presumably they would need a much higher energy intake than the normal person to maintain the function of the muscles (and their level of activity). Presumably there would be cascading changes on insulin sensitivity and energy storage. What happens when they become sedentary? Do they store a lot of that excessive energy on their body like Alexei? Or do they get the zoomies because their body is forcing them to burn off the excess energy? What does it mean for sleep? Are they needing more sleep because of the energy expenditure, or less sleep because of the rapid rejuvenation? What does that change in sleep cycle mean when they have to live amongst normal humans? And how do they balance their meals against that?

The higher metabolism is interesting, because does that mean a higher rate of cell turnover? In most normal humans, we know that higher cell turnover rates mean bigger chances of mutations, hence things like chronic inflammation increases risks of cancer. Sure, healing speed might be fast, but sometimes it’s a matter of quality over speed, you know? Are they closing wounds or replacing lost blood but actually spawning cancerous cells? Sometimes I wonder if a lot of Isaiah’s squad may have died from cancer like these 🤔 There is an interesting bit of DNA on our chromosomes called the “telomere”, that seems to be somewhat of a genetic marker for “best before date”, if you will. When the telomere gets shorter, there are higher incidences of age-related diseases, but I’m not sure we’ve figured out which is the chicken or the egg 🤔 The reason I bring it up is we don’t know how the increased metabolism given by the serum will affect the mechanisms for cell repair. Do the cell repair happen faster too? Or do they — as you point out — hit a physiological roadblock and after that it’s all down hill?

And finally, what does the serum do to mental health specifically? Not just the improved memory or the heightened senses (leading to heightened anxiety), but physiological changes can definitely cause emotions, eg people with fast thyroid or fast heart rate feeling anxious and jittery all the time. If your energy is always elevated, how do you let your mind rest? If you’re not able to fall asleep, how does your brain repair itself and consolidate memories? And what is the psychological effect of always living on juice? Is that what drives comics!Isaiah to an early dementia?

Sorry, this raised far more questions than it answered! I think it is definitely possible that there are long term side effects of the serum that we don’t know about. Although I suspect a MCU was thinking is “magic mcgaffin juice, heals all illnesses” which I guess is all you need when the original point of the story is that the physique didn’t matter as much as the man inside, and what was most important was he was going to punch Nazis.

Headcanons fo ADHD Sara?

thank you for the ask n hope you enjoy! ngl i had to go back and look at this moodboard to get some ideas bc i love ADHD sara but my brain does not always work all the time lol (also first time doing a hyperlink so,, i have no idea if it actually worked)

-she's always fidgeting or moving in some way shape or form. sometimes it's just small little movements and other times it's more noticeable. or like,,, if her and ava are just laying in bed cuddling or smth she tries to just lay still for a bit but it lasts for like .2 seconds until she's playing with the rings on either her or ava's fingers, or she's messing around with ava's shirt or she's just like,, moving her feet around under the blanket. if she's especially restless (for whatever reason) while they're cuddling, she'll start to apologize but ava's just like "nope, don't. i know you can't help it, and besides, it's cute that your go-tos are always our hands or my shirt."

-sara def usually does not have a good sense of time, especially when she's super focused on something (like weapons maintenance or smth). like, she'll be doing the thing for h o u r s and just,,, does not realize it until like,, ava or someone else goes and checks up on her and asks if she's taken a break lately or had anything to eat or drink or w/e and sara's like "no but I'm fine it hasn't been that long anyway" and whoever is it is like "sara,,, it's been [x amount of hours]." and sara's just like ",,,oh. oops. how the hell is it [time] already?"

-RSD (rejection sensitive dysphoria). like,,, sara already usually has a pretty low view of herself, but she's still scared that the people she loves and cares about think she's just a screw-up or a monster or that they view her the way she views herself. if it ever seems like maybe that is what they think, sara tends to start spiralling until someone (usually ava) pulls her out of it and reassures her of the fact that no one thinks that and that they all love her so much

-a lot of times sara has a hard time sleeping because her brain just will not shut off long enough for her to actually fall asleep. when she has trouble sleeping, she usually gets more restless but she doesn't wanna like,,, toss and turn because she likes her spot right there in ava's arms, cuddled up next to her with her head on chest but she can't sleep and it's just like,,, hhhhh. ava (usually half-asleep) picks up on it and runs her fingers through sara's hair and v lightly scratches her back for a while and that usually helps sara sleep whenever she's having trouble

-ok ok also,, really love the thought of sara with ADHD and ray with autism and the two of them bonding bc like,, so many of the symptoms of ADHD and autism overlap with each other so like,, they both get a lot of what the other goes through n deals with n they just kinda bond over that n stuff

any and all of the scenes in s2 with the 3rd gym squad (bokuto, kuroo, akaashi, hinata, tsukishima). 

in the manga, kuroo’s backstory abt how his shyness was “worse than [kenma’s]”

tit i cant believe you DO this to me when you KNOW how much i already talk about him and love him....

i think it really comes down to the fact that i see a lot of myself in him. it seems weird at first maybe, but when it comes down to his core character... similar. i identify with him a lot. he’s also a huge comfort character. poor kuroo suffers under all of my vent writing. it’s surprising i dont kin him but you never know i guess. 

idk if it still happens (it probably does tbh :unamused:) but he used to be characterized as like. extroverted sexy mccool guy by the fanbase and it was weird cuz kuroo is . A HUGE NERD. WHAT SORT OF KID, WHEN FIFTEEN YEARS OLD, DROPS THE TERM DOCOSAHEXAEONIC ACID INTO AN INSULT. his hair has no product in it to look Hot or anything it is not on purpose it is his natural, shitty bedhead from sleeping weird. he acts like a dumbass sometimes bc he’s a goofy guy, but he’s also SUPER smart. n people brush him off/think he’s joking when he says “i’m always this nice” but he IS he’s one of the most selfless characters. he’s really considerate and he helps people no matter what, even when he doesn’t have to - like when he helped tsukki during the training camp (not just on his technique, but he also helped him find his passion for volleyball) despite wanting to go up AGAINST tsukki’s team in nationals. not to mention that he wants karasuno to get better because he wants his team and karasuno to have an official match together to please his coach. AND despite winning against nohebi in the semifinals, when a group of strangers bash nobehi for their slimy tactics to scrape up points and gain the favor of the refs, kuroo DEFENDS nohebi even though he didn’t have to and when he has personal rivalry against their team’s captain. i will also stand by the fact that he’s anxiety disordered™. he just feels like a very real character to me n . i just love him a lot.

yeah! a lot!

my biggest is that kuroo had/has selective mutism (n ppl can also interpret it as autism ! i just prefer sm bc thats what i got). that’s like. the One i will live and die by and it’s another reason why i really love him so much and that i see myself in him more than anyone else. as a teen and almost-adult i see him as still having some residual social anxiety due to the childhood disorder, and he’s hella depressed as well cuz it be like that. also for self-projection reasons i like arokuroo (i have that url stolen lol). ive never had a distinct sexuality headcanon for him, either pan or gay in my thoughts, but also since i see myself in him its hard for me to. do that ig?? idk lol

bokuto has adhd. i really support that one as well. he’s also ace!! he’s the ace ace!! i also like to see him as somewhat arospec, but in the sense that he’s just not really interested in that sort of thing? but he is still just... head over heels for akaashi.

akaashi has general anxiety n some social anxiety and also the pression. he’s GAY babey . ALSO he’s a he/him non-binary

kenma social anxiety babie. i mean, that’s literally canon. he has social anxiety. he’s also demi n trans. 

daishou is bi. i also write him as having paranoia.
