You know what? Respect to Derek Guy.

He said: “I don’t like this guy’s style. I respect him as an icon and for his confidence, but I think he’d look even better in more layers.”

Luke there tried to make it a fitness level thing and Derek shut it down immediately. He was doing a cute bit about styling your clothing options and did not allow fat shaming in his feed.

The fact that he was using Pooh Bear is iconic. Hilarious, but iconic. Is useing a fictional character to make his point instead of a real model both silly and cute? Yes. But look at WHO he chose. He chose the bear who loves being fat with hunny. He just said “everyone can look good with enough confidence, and some layers.”

Do you have any idea what “I am short, fat, and proud of that,” did for the confidence of a pudgy little girl??? And this guy said- “That is who I want to style for.”

Who is this Derek Guy? Because even though I disagree with him on Pooh Bear’s iconic shirt, I would trust him to help me style my clothes. Man defended the bear. He gets brownie points.
