Okay so Severus ALONE specific traditions:

On Christmas Eve he absolutely spends his time on the couch with a good book in his hands, the fire place lit, and a drink on his side table.

He trades a large Christmas tree for a small one that basically just acts as decoration on the living room table.

He doesn’t open gifts until Christmas morning after he’s had his breakfast (learned behavior from childhood as he didn’t want to seem to excited just to get crushed when there was nothing)

Severitus specific headcanons:

They get really into the decorating part. Harry never got to put his own ornaments on the tree because of the Dursleys, so he finds the moment incredibly important, just sitting and staring at the tree at night.

I think it would be really funny if Severus put some chocolate disguised as coal in Harry’s stocking. Neither of them really had stockings as a child, but when Harry noticed that the Weasleys did it, he couldn’t help but hope that Severus would too.

Harry would be the one to wake him up, softly knocking on Severus’s door a little earlier than he likely would, but not so early that it was obnoxious in his mind.

SNUPIN!!:

Soft kisses in the morning, they hate getting out of bed and spend the early morning there. If one’s more awake than the other they’ll read a book. When they do get out of bed it’s to get some coffee before they exchange their presents.

Later on in the day, I would like them to go to a Chinese place for food. It reminds them of their childhoods and provides comfort.

Snupin w Harry (you didn’t ask for this but I thought it necessary :P)

First off, decorating the tree, they go ornament shopping and they absolutely go ahead and get themselves a deer, a wolf and a bat ornament.

They hang them up every year right next to one another. Harry got the bat one for Sev. Sev got the wolf one for Remus and Remus got the deer one for Harry.

Again Harry wakes them up a lil earlier, but they don’t immediately go into opening presents. Remus and Sev get coffee and Harry gets hot chocolate.

They do stockings first, then presents. After the excitement of presents they go out to play in the snow. (There is absolutely a snowball fight and multiple snowmen built) Harry makes snow angels and combined with Remus force Severus to make some as well.

Which somehow led to last night and Severus knocking on Lupin’s door with a toddler half-asleep in his arms.

so time totally got away from me this week so I'm a tad bit late with the fic rec but I hope the fic makes up for it

when I first read this I couldn't stop reading until I was done and I love love love this fic so much! It is part of a series and I recommend setting a weekend aside to read all the works in it in one sitting because you won't be able to put it down (at least I wasn't lol) this is also one of my rare snupin fic recs but since romance isn't the main focus of the fic I feel like it can be enjoyed by most everyone.

For me, this year has been marked by finding cool stories to record and forgetting until I'm actually recording that they require me to sing. This was a prime example, a hurt/comfort-ish Snupin raising Harry full of such a unique ambiance, plus me trying to do an Ozzy Osbourne impression and learn a Hebrew folk song. Truly though, it's a love story and I hope you all give it a listen!!

So I'm working on a part two to this for a friend's birthday. It is, so far, the QUICKEST 2k I have written in a WHILE and it's all bc I'm a bit too interested in Snupin raising Harry.

Anyways: A sneak peek

“Severus, are you alright in there?” He called after knocking on the door. At no answer, he furrowed his eyebrows, eyes darkening with concern, before he turned, grabbed a pair of soft pyjama pants, underwear, and a shirt from one of the bags and returned again, knocking a bit louder. “Severus? I’ve got a change of clothes for you,” he tried again. Remus stood for a moment, then pressed his ear to the door, hearing nothing. Severus was not showering. “I’m coming in, Severus.” He opened the door to find Severus sitting in the shower, fully clothed, drenched in cold water, and staring at the wall. Remus sighed, his face dropping to a place between pity and understanding. “I’m the reason they’re dead, you know,” Severus whispered, not once moving and barely audible. Remus heard him anyway, and his blood roared. “What do you mean?” He heard himself ask. “I overheard the prophecy, and in an effort to keep appearances up, I told the Dark Lord. I didn’t hear the whole thing, but just enough before Dumbledore spotted Me and threw Me out. He sent Me to him, you know. Told Me to “Do, tell my master” what I’d heard. So I did. And he decided it was Lily. And Harry. And Potter. So I begged for Her life.” Remus’s blood ran cold. There was no way. Severus continued on. “I begged him to spare Her. Of course, I couldn’t ask him to spare Harry. There was no way to ask that or him without ending up dead. No way to deter him from his goal. And there was no love lost between Me and Potter,” Severus paused at that, turning his head from the spot he was staring at to stare directly into Remus’s eyes. “I begged him to spare Lily but not Her child and not Her husband, and in turn he said he would try. And She died regardless.”

Snupin raising Harry

Remus showing up the same night with Sirius and deciding to go with Hagrid and taking Harrh the last minute.

Severus thinking Harry is at the Dursly's when Dumbledore tells him and going to check just to make sure and not seeing him anywhere.

Severus then asking Hagrid about that night cus he knows he will talk and immediately understanding that Remus' is most likely the cause for the vanished child.

Severus finding Remus' place and just showing there to confront him - but ends up walking on him and a crying infant Harry.

Remus' eyes just begging for help and Severus is annoyed at the scene but is still helpful with calming the child down and fast asleep.

Severus confronting Remus after that before Remus even has a chance to thank him and tells him he needs to get Harry back to the Dursly's.

Remus not wanting to and talks about what McGonagall has sad, and Severus cannot disagree since he knows Petunia up close.

But Severus does not trust him with raising the child on his own so he shows up there every day after classes.

He falls asleep there many times later on the weekends, being convinced while very tired that no one will notice his absent and that Harry likes having him there.

Later on he also stays on nights before days he starts teaching later then usual.

On summers Severus decides to have Harry st his house since it's easier for him to attend, so Remus is the one showing up there.

He ends up falling asleep on the couch with Harry many times while watching old movies in tapes.

Harry has already been taken to his room by Severus untill Remus wakes up again - by Harry going down to do so.

And they get away with it for the most part.

Untill Harry's letter needs to arrive - but instead Dumbledore is the one showing at the door.

“He… He wants me to raise the child.”

Poppy looked at him in shock and blinked.

“Well… what do you need to know?”

Severus looked down at the crib, finally seeing the small boy sleeping inside it; he was glad the boy was sleeping and he didn’t have to be faced with the eyes that, as he understood it, were a copy of his mother’s. His own black eyes raked over the peaceful body, and he found himself taking a deep breath.

“Everything.”

This week on SSS, my take on a Severitus in which Severus adopts Harry but James turns up years later, not actually dead. I'm currently at 5 chapters and a half written out of 10. As I said last week, I'd love feedback to know whether to post this progressively or the Snupin oneshot first.

I don't really care about other ships with women really. It's not that I am mysoginistic since I make Severus a woman more than often. It's just that I am basically obsessed with him and I can't help it. Also many women in Snape's era sucks ass. Lily Evans being the biggest one of them.

Anyway, my fanfics have not been posted yet. I feel a bit insecure about them since they are not popular ships at all and I love polyandry. If people don't know what that means. This is the definition:

Polygamy: in which a woman has more than one husband.

Which means in my story, Severus Snape has often more than just 1 husband/lover. So if you still read this and think, either "hmm, interesting. I wonder where this is going." Continue.

But if you are "Wtf, I hate it. What the fuck is wrong with you and these ships are crack." Please stop reading. You're too vanilla oriented I guess for my ships. I want to write as horror/psychological and canon oriented as possible. I will post 4 messages like these and have three links to them explaining my fanfics.

My 2nd fanfic is a Peter Pettigrew x Severus Snape. So after Eileen's death, Tobias immediately moves in with his new girlfriend without a care or thought about how his son would feel. Snape knows immediately who it was judging by the surname and is reluctant but his father isn't exactly a negotiable man. So he accepts his fate. Thanks to the room being destroyed that he'd sleep in, he is now place in Peter's room.

Mother of peter is called Delilah and Tobias got a new job for higher pay at a new factory. Peter to me is raised with a submissive and timid mom, that if peter says A, she does A. He wouldn't cuss her out but he definitely would demand many things for her under the idea that he's her child and has rights to do so. Eventually becoming fat since his mom can't say no.

That abuse Snape went under, is now fully reflected on peter. He's beaten on the first day for eating so much that his head is slammed in the food right where Delilah sat but she didn't care. Because again, she's a timid woman and Tobias made her feel loved for the first time in her life after Peter's dad left her. When peter talks to her about it, she tells him that he was eating too much and could do less.

Peter not being raised with Tobias steps on many triggering points of Tobias meanwhile Snape avoids them flawlessly. Snape digresses into a depression as he meets a boy ghost in the magical forest doing summer homework for extra credit. Ghost is called Matthew and Severus simply let's it all out. Ghost litterally could take it back to his grave. Seeing Snape so miserable, peter began taking pictures. Few too many for Matthew's taste but he doesn't say anything to Snape.

Tobias began to take care of Severus since the boy looks so empty and vulnerable after Eileen's death. As Delilah is changing Snape to use him properly for climbing the social ladder. She changes the family into a Catholic christian one to be more accepted in the community and with a husband that works for their income she could help around and cook. While she has her kids attent Sunday church and Sunday school, whilst doing homework.

Peter eventually gets a job in the boxing club as a cleaner boy because Tobias finds that if peter wants to eat like a pig, he better pay for it too. Other kids in their community also take notice of Severus as the new face and the close knit community that they are. Snape promises Matthew to give him his body as peter falls for him more and more over the summer vacation.

Severus is tense at first when he has to perform homework with peter, but peter shows actual intellect when he does his homework. Surprising the Slytherin. Then again, Snape is also disappointed in Peter for leeching onto others and copying their homework.

It's a lot of topics I am putting into this fanfic such as greed, fat phobia, body dimorphism, incest, religion, suicide and depression. It has 10 chapters and I'm working on more. Also here, Snape becomes a woman.

And Prince Tom& Victory (that’s gonna be yearss in progress) of Neville&Harry sharing a secret identity and Voldemort choosing to believe the prophecy is about love and has to die/be reborn to find it…

And a third that I’ve brainstormed and only just begun, a no-war AU with young trans Draco meeting family-rival Ron through his cousin Harry, and becoming friends with them, till Lucius is released from Azkaban and is a total transphobe/blood purist making Draco withdraw, and Ron starts realizing he’s not so into girls but into Draco who’s now ignoring him, and actually maybe isn’t so comfortable being a boy himself…

A ship I want to explore:

To Severus Snape's chagrin he finds himself the last line of defense between Harry and the forces of the Dark Lord.
