There was nothing kind on his face. No pity or warmth.

For a long minute, they only stared at each other.

Then the prince growled softly, "Your plan was bullshit."

She said nothing, and couldn't stop her shoulders from curving inward.

"Your plan was bullshit," he breathed, his eyes sparking. "How could you ever be her, wear her skin, and think to get away with it? How could you ever think you'd get around the fact that our armies are counting on you to burn the enemy to ashes, and all you can do is run away and emerge as some beast instead?"

"You don't get to pin this retreat on me," she rasped. The first words she'd spoken in days and days.

"You agreed to let Aelin go to her death, and leave us here to be slashed to bloody ribbons. You two told no one of this plan, told none of us who might have explained the realities of this war, and that we would need a gods-damned Fire-Bringer and not an untrained, useless shape-shifter against Morath."

Blow after blow, the words landed upon her weary heart. "We—"

"If you were so willing to let Aelin die, then you should have let her do it after she incinerated Erawan's hordes!"

"It would not have stopped Maeve from capturing her."

"If you'd told us, we might have planned differently, acted differently, and we would not be here, damn you!"

She stared at the muddy hay. "Throw me out of your army, then."

"You ruined everything." His words were colder than the wind outside. "You, and her."

Lysandra closed her eyes.

Hay rustled, and she knew he'd risen to his feet, knew it as his words speared from above her bowed head. "Get out of my tent."

She wasn't certain she could move enough to obey, though she wished to. Needed to. Fight back. She should fight back. Rage at him as he lashed at her, needing an outlet for his fear and despair.

Lysandra opened her eyes, peering up at him. At the rage on his face, the hatred She managed to stand, her body bleating in pain. Managed to look him in the eye, even as Aedion said again with quiet cold, "Get out."

Barefoot in the snow, naked beneath her cloak. Aedion glanced at her bare legs, as if realizing it. And not caring.

So Lysandra nodded, clutching Ansel's cloak tighter, and strode into the frigid night.

"Where is she?" Ren asked, a mug of what smelled like watery soup in one hand, a chunk of bread in the other. The lord scanned the tent as if he would find her under the cot, the hay.

Aedion stared at the precious few logs burning in the brazier, and said nothing.

"What have you done?" Ren breathed.

Everything was about to end. Had been doomed since Maeve had stolen Aelin. Since his queen and the shifter had struck their agreement.

So it didn't matter, what he'd said. He hadn't cared if it wasn't fair, wasn't true.

Didn't care if he was so tired he couldn't muster shame at his pinning on her the blame for the sure defeat they'd face in a matter of days before Perranth's walls.

He wished she'd smacked him, had screamed at him. But she had let him rage. And had walked out into the snow, barefoot.

He'd promised to save Terrasen, to hold the lines. Had done so for years. And yet this test against Morath, when it had counted ... he had failed.

He’d muster the strength to fight again. To rally his men. He just ... he needed to sleep.

Aedion didn't notice when Ren left, undoubtedly in search of the shifter with who he was so damned enamored.

He should summon his Bane commanders. See how they thought to manage this disaster.

But he couldn't. Could do nothing but stare into that fire as the long night passed.

Thayne and Sephiroth

Sephiroth had moved his clan some months ago from the harsh land and culture from Siberia to escape the crippling harsh ruling king and royal family. Finland seemed peaceful and they had found an area to claim, only for it to already be claimed by a strong pack. They realized this the hard way with how the werewolves bullied the new feline shifters. Their leader felt it this was his responsibility and at fault, having sought to escape one fight for a new one.

Now he faced this strong werewolf, a large intimidating man. Sephiroth looked strong but he couldn't possibly match Thayne, against him in his beast form the feline shifter feared that this would be his death. This was how things were settled in territorial disputes, if he dies then he hoped atleast the other would honor his defeat and spare his clan's lives. The worry showed in his teal eyes that night, surrounded by the people of both clan and pack standing before the other leader.

This was not a fight the snow leopard shifter could win, he knew this. He was preparing himself for the humiliation that he would be facing. His only option was to surrender. Sephiroth watched as the other changed into his more fearsome form, he followed suit yet his was nothing to be scared of. The snow leopard, even though larger than an actual one was not at all threatening in the slightest. All fluff, no bite. His fur coat as stunningly beautiful as he was as a man with large expressive eyes. They took a few steps to circle one another then Sephiroth simply flopped down and rolled onto his back, exposing his vulnerable belly and neck in submission and defeat. It was up to the werewolf to accept this or kill him.

You were used to being on you’re own ever since you were a teen when you ran away from you’re parents. You’re parents were Lion’s And when you’re first shift happened they were utterly shocked, But after that they started treating you coldly and abusing you so the first chance you got you ran away, You kept yourself in the mountains where you liked it. 

You had about a thirteen mile hike to town and You didn’t mind that either, You didn’t like being around people especially Men, Since you’re father was the one to dish out the abuse, You avoided the opposite sex as much as possible.

You were in the middle of the market when a scent hit you’re nose, It smelled like pine and ceder, It made the hairs on the back of you’re neck stand up, it made you freeze, You looked around trying to pinpoint the smell. You brought you’re food and left the market as fast as possible, You walked back to you’re house as fast as possible. You knew you had to get home, You could feel eyes on you, You didn’t like the feeling you started running you knew whoever had been at the market was following you. 

You.You felt as if you were being stalked being another predators prey. You finally arrived at you’re cabin in the mountains. Unlocking the door and slamming it shut.You’re back pressed against the door, You could feel you’re heart hammering against you’re chest. Locking the door, You peeked out of the curtain, You don’t see anyone the snow starting to fall. You’re eye sight was excellent being a leopard you could see in the dark and far away.You’re hearing excellent and so is you’re speed. You let out a breath of relief. You look down and see you’re claws out of you’re fingers even though you were terrified the Leopard in you was ready to fight. 

Sometimes you can’t contain it. Sometimes it forces it’s way out when you are backed into a corner. 

That night you couldn’t sleep you kept smelling that smell. You could sense the presence You tossed and turned all night, You just knew deep down something was very wrong. 

Bucky,

Bucky knew the moment he caught you’re scent in the market that you were special, sure he hated the Colorado mountains, It was to cold being a tiger shifter he hated the cold. But he and his pack of shifter’s were on a mission, HYDRA was capturing weaker shifters and experimenting on them. They carried out the mission and were about to head back to New York But now that he got a whiff of you’re scent he knew he had to have you, You smelled like freshly bloomed cherry blossoms, and the smell drove him wild, But as soon as you bolted he decided to follow you staying in the shadows, Not wanting to risk being seen and spooking you, but he could tell by you’re body language that you knew you were being followed. He knew he had to be careful, Something told him if you knew someone was following you. You would run do anything to escape. 

When you finally arrived home he was surprised how far you walked to town on you’re own, And how far away from civilization you were, He was thinking you might be a smaller shifter that’s why you lived so far away from people, But the tiger inside of him told him something different, After he knew you had fallen asleep he snuck into you’re  home, the powerful scent almost knocked him down, driving him and his tiger mad. He crept into you’re bedroom where you were sleeping peacefully curled up into a ball almost, You’re back to him, 

“Soon sweetheart, You will be my mate.. Soon.” He whispered his knuckles brush

Nah I don’t see that. I see Leopard Simon, to be specific Snow leopards or Panthers, I just like the idea of our poor traumatize skellie boy only purring with the 141 mainly Johnny or Price (bc those are the two he would really only trust because of the Roba incident and Ghost slowly opening up to Soap in the games)

And you know with snow leopards that they only purr with people they trust, at least as adults. I’d say the same with panthers two or even mix em to make his leopard form look like his mask so he’d have characteristics of both types.

I can’t be the only one thinking about this right? Because I’ve been thinking about this for a WHILE, especially as a Leopard lover I would adore seeing our boi be one in one of the shifter Aus since there’s rarely anything about Leopard shifters

Persona 4 Magic au

So those of you who follow me or recognize me (hi!! Welcome back!!) Well you might say "Scream"- that's me, -"you have a Persona 5 Magic au, is this the same universe?" And my answer is

Uh. Sure. It can be I guess

Anyways let's talk about shit

Yu Narukami is a witch. His parents were both magic users, but had outer sources of magic. As a witch, Yu can cast spells and shit with the magic within him. His parents are going abroad for a year and send him to live with his uncle in Inaba, with a catch

His uncle knows nothing about magic, so Yu had to pretend to be a normal human for the whole year

He's never had to hide his magic before, so it'll be a real challenge for him. But, he's willing to try

...yeah it doesn't go well

When he shows up, he can already feel magic within the town. There are magical beings present and almost immediately, someone turns up dead in a mysterious fashion. No one else can see the gills on the woman's neck but him, or so he believes

Yu becomes fast friends with a few kids in his class that really stink of barely-hidden magic.

Yosuke Hanamura, with his prominent canines and his suspiciously homemade juice boxes

Chie Satonaka, with her boundless energy, knowledge of the moon, and her love of meat

And Yukiko Amagi, who stares so oddly. He doesn't have much evidence for her yet, but he will

Then, a third year turns up dead. Yu sees the little horns on her head when he sees her on TV the night before. Another magic person is dead.

Then, Yukiko goes missing, and everything gets started

Okay that's it for me talking like that I'll lay out what the plot is and what everyone is and shit

So basically. Adachi is a seer, a human who can tell when someone's magic, and he finds out that the entrance to Mirror Inaba is in the TV. Plus, every monster he tossed in, died. So he sets up a plot to get monsters kidnapped and shit cause "they're subhuman anyways, I should be allowed to have fun with them"

Yosuke Hanamura is a vampire! He was a born vampire, but his mom is human so. His traits are real watered down. He's fine in the sun and can eat small amounts of garlic, but he still drinks blood

Chie Satonaka is a werewolf! There's a small werewolf pack that's been in Inaba for generations, and she's a member. Born a werewolf, she's really connected with her animal self, and is in control during full moons

Yukiko Amagi is a Fox Selkie, but her coat is an abnormal colour due to the fact that her grandfather was a Kitsune. As a fox she's mostly dark red with a white belly, eyebrows, and tail tip, but her paws are black, as are the tips of her ears. She can make vague illusions, and her coat stays locked with her mother's at the inn

Kanji Tatsumi is half Oni. His mom is human, but his dad? Full Oni. He has an older brother that lives with his dad, since both of them can't hide their demonic traits. Kanji looked human enough as a kid, but he's just started sprouting his horns and his teeth are a little larger. Plus, he's real tall and big

Rise Kujikawa is a daughter of Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of Love, beauty, music, dancing, pleasure- you get the gist. Her mother is her birth parent cause I said so. Her grandmother is a potions master, and Rise has decided to learn the craft as well

Naoto Shirogane is the youngest of the Shirogane Animal Shifters. The bloodline has been watered down over the years, to the point where the only animal form Naoto can take is a snow leopard. His markings are closer to blue shades than whites and blacks, and there's a little butterfly spot right on his chest

And Teddie is from Mirror Inaba. He is the only conscious being there, and grants protection to the team when they go to save people. He's not sure what he is, but he looks like a bear. Maybe.

Anyways yeah. Monster crew. Please ask me about this I'm proud of it

Anyways I’m my maladaptive dreaming during class I was thinking about a snow leopard shifter….and then them being a forced shifter cause duh.

Another ramble instead of getting my thought straight first

Like snow leopards are cute and shit and so billionaire probably turned some poor kid into one to keep as a pet. Like a kid being taken away from its life in a being forced with multiple operations to be turned into the animal to be kept as pet.

And just to add salt to the wound they’re treated terrible. Like locked in the cage and only coming out forced to preform dangerous mountain climbing tricks, which would be fine for a normal snow leopard or even a shifter. But the little thing cant seem to get it right, and back to the private hospital it goes after falling down cliffs.

This has been going on for a few years now, until suddenly they rescued! (Cause I want them to have a happy ending cause snow leopards are amazing and adorable)

And my daddy/mommy issues are telling me that it’s the 141 and now it’s fun loving platonic family feud shit cause babyforcedsnowlepord (that a mouth full) deserves the world

Oooooh now that is an interesting angle! I mean I imagine the owner would want to keep the pet in decent condition, but still. Absolutely dehumanizing conditions. Expectations impossibly high. Literally a no win scenario for any forced shifter, and this poor snow leopard just. Hates everything.

But then! Rescue! It seems too good to be true! Especially with the 141, because you know they'd become so protective of this forced snow leopard. They'd be sure to teach the forced shifter about etiquette and how to work with your instincts and all kinds of things. Ghost would teach them how to hunt like a cat, Gaz and Soap would teach them about pack bonding and grooming time and pack cuddles, and Price would teach them control. Or at least how to channel that rage into something productive. They definitely get a happy ending because I am a sucker for a happy ending!
