I had to go HUNTING through search engines to find this little beauty that is made by a small business jeweler, so I'd like to give it the viewing exposure it deserves. I have actually bought this pendant, and am wearing it right now. It's absolutely gorgeous, and I'd like to ping two of my favorite fashion blogs to see if we can give it some more exposure.

What is this blog?

I am not a shop or an artist. This is a shopping blog. The primary purpose of this blog is shining a light on indie creators and artists. I love art and shopping and want to share it with others. I run this blog by myself in my own free time and don’t make any profit off anything I post. *If you are a shop owner and I have posted something from your shop that you don’t want on this blog, please message me and I will happily delete the post!

Who is the snooty fox?

I am the Fox, otherwise known as Adele. I am a struggling actor in my 20s based in Aotearoa New Zealand. Originally from the states. Very queer. Moderately goth. My pronouns are she/her.

okay, this is the last time I’m going to address the issue. here is what happened:

I followed snootyfoxfashion, so when they reposted sergle’s art (which had “do not repost” legible right underneath her signature btw) I noticed immediately. since I like to assume most people have good intentions, I commented on the repost with “hey, sergle doesn’t like having her art reposted” and a link to her answering an ask about it on her own blog as proof.

that reply? the one I sent in good faith and tried to be as polite as possible with? snootyfoxfashion deleted it in less than 5 minutes. that’s when I knew that this was not just them making an innocent mistake—even when I pointed out what they did wrong nicely, they were actively trying to silence me because I said something they didn’t like.

that’s when I got angry, not only on sergle’s behalf, but my own, too. if you actually take the time to read my reblog, you’ll see that the rudest thing I said was “due to your actions, I’m not going to support your blog anymore.” art theft of art made by queer small businesses is not and never will be okay, no matter the reason behind it.

Might as well try to use Tumblr to do some good. A few years ago there was a tragic accident on Valentine's day. Two children were hit walking home from school and a family's world was changed. In the performing arts world, we are a tight knit group, and try to help out as we can. If you can help that's awesome. If nothing signal boost. This family needs a break and is working so hard to make the most of life.

Hey I’m a (cishet) nurse and recently I had a patient who had to out themself in order to receive appropriate care. I hope I made them feel safe to come out to me, but it may not have been as safe to come out to a few of my colleagues. I was wondering if I could/ should wear a pin or something, so if a similar situation occurs people know I’m safe to come out to. Can you also recommend where to buy them? I’d prefer to support individuals not corporations. Thank you!!

Off the top of my head I would say @snootyfoxfashion may have some pins on their blog? You could also look on Etsy.

@unorthodox-hero-shop has some great merch too! (Which iirc anything bought from them funds their top surgery?)

hi, would it be okay to ask for the username of the person that reposted sergle’s art and made a post about it? i saw in sergle’s post a reply where you say you don’t follow them anymore, and i’d like to know who it is so i can block

I believe their URL is something like "snootyfoxfashion"? Personally, I'm not sure if this is really my business to get into since I don't have any involvement with them or Sergle, but if this is how they treat artists then I'm not comfortable with engaging w/ their content.

Again, this is just my take as a bystander.
