SnK Vets & more random headcanons

Because I missed doing these

Mike steals Hange's glasses and pretends to be an intellectual, putting up an exagerated posh accent. Erwin can't stand two minutes of this.

Erwin never apologises whenever he has an argument with someone. He might know he was wrong but he'll never admit it openly and most importantly he's incapable of walking up to the other person and say he's sorry. He either just goes back to normal or does something for the other person, usually related to what the argument was about.

Mike can't lie. If this guy tries to make up some lie or excuse, you'll notice straight away. His body language and his tone are too telling. If he needs to hide something, he just stays quiet, he knows the moment he opens his mouth he's doomed.

Hange lies with ease. She doesn't lie very often, but when she does you have no way to tell she's lying.

Moblit adjusts his pace to Hange, when they walk together they actually move in unison.

Erwin had a bunny when he was a child.

Levi is terrible at dancing. Moving is okay when he knows the steps, but he just move to the rhythm of music. He just can't feel the rhythm. He only dances to classics like waltz, because he needs it to be mechanic, if he has to improvise he just skips. He only stays if he's dancing with Hange and she takes the lead.

Nanaba is extremely skilled at climbing. She climbs trees, walls, anything. She's fast, she finds where to put her hands and feet with a surprising ease.

Mike could sleep literally anywhere. As a kid he used to lie on the floor in front of the chimney and fell asleep there. He could sleep on a branch of a tree and get the best sleep ever.

Erwin has back aches. He likes to crack his back and he usually leans on Mike to stretch. Mike agrees to it but he complains because the sound of Erwin's back cracking freaks him out.

Moblit has an amazing memory. He remembers dates, facts and people's words very easily. He'd be like "you said these precise words on the 18th of april, we were standing next to the stables and the weather was cloudy".

Erwin and Mike have a party in between their birthdays, they call it "brorthday" and it's basically an excuse to get drunk while pretending they are celebrating both their birthdays at once.

Hange keeps a diary. Whenever someone asks, she'd say it's for titan research, but she actually writes the silliest stuff on it. "Asked 15 people. None of them has ever seen a baby pidgeon. I'm starting to think they are born adult".

Levi likes mushrooms. Mushroom soup is a favourite of his and he loves mushroom stroganoff served with rice.

Nanaba's hands and feet are always, always cold. In winter she wears two pairs of sock one on top of the other all the time.

Levi never drinks enough water. Though since he saw Hange squeezing lemons in her water during meals, he does that as well and this allows him to actually have the right amount of water to stay hydrated.

Miche Zacharius 

Miche loves to sneak up on you.  

You could be working at your desk, chopping vegetables by the kitchen platform, or standing by the window as you water your plants. One moment you’re doing your thing, and the next moment a pair of strong, massive hands engulfs you into a bear hug from behind; his warm chest flush against your back. Miche rests his chin on your shoulder and you lean your head against his. He quietly watches what you’re doing, pressing a kiss or two on your cheek every now and then.

He nuzzles his face into the curve of your neck and breathes you in deeply, the fragrance of your shampoo, lotion and sometimes a little bit of sweat, all amalgamated into an aroma that makes him weak in the knees. If he senses that you’re getting tired, he effortlessly moves you out of the way and takes over what you were doing, humming a discordant tune to himself as he does. 

Sometimes when he’s feeling especially cheeky, Miche can, and will spook the hell out of you. He is rather stealthy for a man of his stature, and he loves to poke his fingers into your sides only to be elbowed in the gut by a very annoyed you. 

Hange Zoe 

Hange always makes time for you.  

A master of many trades, their day is jam packed full of commitments. But however busy they may be, they never, ever let you feel neglected. They check in on you every few hours asking how your day is going either through a brief call or a text, both ending with them reminding you that they love you. 

9-to-5 schedule means very little to them. Late nights at work are a common occurrence. They made this quite clear in the beginning of your relationship, but never once did they let it get in the way of your love. Every time they are late, Hange brings home take out dinner from a new place their colleagues recommended, or your favorite dessert if its past dinner time. On some evenings, they honk the horn of their car as they pull up outside your house, an indication for you to rush outside and join them on a long drive through the empty streets of your city. 

All their colleagues know you well enough by now. So, you are always a part of their work dinners – dinners that always result in a happily drunk Hange. Erwin and Miche smile while Levi tries to suppress the one growing on his lips as Hange lets every one within a mile know how madly they are in love with you by screaming it on top of their lungs. 

Erwin Smith 

Erwin loves taking pictures of you.  

Most of them are ones you didn’t even know he took. It is his own way of preserving moments that he wishes to never forget. The ever attentive and watchful partner, Erwin always has an eye on you... and also a camera. Whether you’re engrossed in a task, brows furrowed, lower lip pinched in between your teeth; or when you’re being goofy, with ice-cream smeared around your mouth as you struggle to eat it on a hot summer day.  

Sometimes, they are pictures of you gazing at the sunset with a content smile on your face, or asleep on his shoulder with a thick stream of drool flowing down your cheek or when you catch him in the act and try to swat his hand a way. They’re all there. Safe and sound in his photo gallery. No wonder, the man shells out obscene amounts of money on phones with the highest memory. 

Erwin loves to go back to these photos from time to time. If he has to be away from you for a long time, he finds himself sifting through them and quietly smiling to himself. Sometimes he does it even when you’re sitting right by his side. Because even when you're with him, he misses you. Because no amount of closeness is close enough.

And if you’re being difficult with him, he will not hesitate to resort to blackmail by threatening to send the choicest of your hilarious photos to Hange.  

Levi Ackerman 

Levi is all about silent gestures.  

He may come across as cold, but he’s the most thoughtful and considerate person to ever live. A man who always chooses your happiness and wellbeing over everything else. When you’re out on a stroll, he gently steers you towards the inner edge of the side walk, choosing to walk by the traffic himself. Never fails to utter “be careful” or “watch your step” when there’s a step or a bump in the way.

Tutts in irritation if you stumble, but is quick to stop you from falling by extending his protective arm before you. He acts as your human shield if you’re walking through a crowd. As much as he hates being touched, he’d rather keep you safe. 

When you come home after a long day, he is right there at the door, ready with a warm hug and a cool glass of water. He asks about your day, and listens to each word, however long your rant may be. He always makes sure that you’re eating right, especially on days when you’re stressed. He feeds you with his own hands if you try to skip meals with the excuse of being busy. And when you finally get into bed to call it a night, he drapes the blanket over you first and then over himself. 

Levi never falls asleep before you. He blames it on his insomnia every time you bring it up. But in reality, he would never miss an opportunity to watch your eye lids flutter closed as you are cocooned by sweet slumber, for it is this mesmerizing image that lulls him to sleep every night.

The vets as things I did in the airplane

A/n: I've been travelling between two countries since I was a baby. I have a section of airport stories and airplane stories in my head that I want to turn into comics one day

And yes, they're all ten hour flights

Levi

Brought out a pack of baby wipes and wiped every surface when the food service came out.

Refused to take his headphones off to avoid convos with the passenger beside him. Also put his hood up since the door closed. Also has an empty bottle that he has with him. All his bags are up in the overhead bin.

Erwin:

Had brought a book with him just in case. The moment he sat down add made himself comfortable, he took his shoes off and begun reading.

Slept an hour in the duration of the flight and just kept reading.

(8th grader me was unhinged, and it was John Green's Looking for Alaska)

Hanji:

Is actually a picky eater when travelling on planes. Plane food makes them sick, so has two carry ons. The suitcase for going on the overhead bin and the other, a small bag that's full of travel food that they munch on during the entire flight.

Has a national geographic magazine, uses the table whole reading it. Also puts on a hoodie, uses ear plugs.

Miche:

(Happened to me when I flew to my uni in January 2020)

The moment the the plane was up in the air and the lights dimmed, he slumped against the window with his arms crossed. And actually slept for 6 hours straight, missing the food service.

Woke up when he was two hours away from landing.

Is the only one to have pens with him when filling up customs forms and lends his extras to his fellow passengers. Brought a huge waterbottle from the airport restaurants.

Hello! :-)

In modern AU, I HC Moblit as an architect, Miche as a detective and Nanaba as a head chef. I see Erwin as a prosecutor in the courtroom with his excellent analytical thinking, great discernment and eloquence. Hange would be a wildlife biologist or a forensic scientist unravelling crime mysteries in every scientific way possible. And since Levi was once a severely malnourished child in the SNK universe, I like to think of him as a nutritionist in the modern AU. Or he would be a dentist or a dental hygienist. Haha, just imagine him saying to a patient, "Open up. Tch. It's filthy."

ok ok so i’ve been seeing stoner au headcanons popping up on tumblr and i need to contribute more than sending people anons. fun fact! i wrote some of these while high hehe

biggest stoners of the 104th/warriors: eren, zeke, pieck, reiner, ymir, jean, sasha, connie

this isn’t to say the rest of them do not smoke; in fact, i feel like the only people who wouldn’t or would very rarely do so are mikasa and annie (for health related reasons) or marco and bertholdt (dislike the sensation of being high)

sasha and connie never chip in for pick ups lmfaoooo but they order PHAT amounts of takeaway food to share so nobody really minds.

we all know armin is a genius, but he’s a fucking idiot while stoned. he would probs be scrambling around on the floor using his phone’s flashlight to find his phone. he then gets very upset at how stupid he is whilst stoned and may or may not spend a large time sulking in the corner.

the jaeger bros definitely pick up the most. however, pieck is probably the most knowledgeable on different strains, their effects and with what they can help.

ymir can identify a strain just by smelling it. not always 100% accurate but it’s still pretty impressive. she is also probably in charge of the music because she knows the best tunes for vibing whilst baked. (it’s a self declared title but shhh)

jean and eren do not fight when baked. in fact, you might even see them in midst of a we’re good bro, right? yeah bro we’re good don’t worry, you know i don’t really hate you bro come here bro heart to heart which they will bitterly deny until mikasa records it for proof one day and pops it on the group chat for shits and gigs

eren didn’t speak to her for a day after that.

speaking of mikasa, seeing her stoned is very rare, as i mentioned, but she’s so fucking adorable when high. she’ll be all smiles and flushed cheeks, swaying to the music and giggling. i love her bye

reiner keeps trying to take over the music to play lil peep or some shit. ymir tells him to fuck off

sasha will complain if they are not in a room with a large quantity of led and fairy lights (i think y’all call then string lights elsewhere? idk). she claims they make the high better (they don’t. but they do look v cool.)

historia would probably have never tried cannabis in her life if it wasn’t for the fact that ymir made some edible brownies and historia, assuming they were normal brownies, ate one and got fucking PLASTERED. ymir was almost crying both out of guilt and because of how gone historia was and it was hilarious, and although historia’s not keen on smoking, she’s willing to join in on group seshes sometimes.

armin will watch nature documentaries while baked! especially with an s/o or someone he’s romantically interested in, he’ll snuggle up to them, all moony eyed, pointing out his favourite aquatic animals, probably mispronouncing their names and desperately trying to recall facts but failing. i want to marry this man this is not a joke i am in love with him.

at the risk of this turning into an armin post: armin would also get the most paranoid (i think i sent this hc to @alert-arlert​ on anon that he would go on a walk whilst zooted and start stressing that his grandpa would see him even though they’re nowhere near his grandfather’s house bc he looks up to his grandfather sm 🥺)

Hogwarts AU: Headcanons game

More Hogwarts AU stuff for the snk vets! Thanks to @luanabonn for asking me to join her with this :)  

Hange Zoe Wand: Hazel/Dragon Heartstring (It said Hazel wood is sensitive and works best for a wielder that can understand and manage their own feelings. since hange can get really angry and emotional i feel like itd be cool to see her struggle with this wand at first but slowly master it. Dragon Heartstring is also prone to accidents and is temperamental LOL, I just think Hange would be the only one to tame such a difficult wand) House: Gryffindor (agree with luanabonn that Hange would totally be a hatstall, but I like to think she’d end up being in Gryffindor. Parallels to Hermione: smartest witch of her age but can pack a punch when angry and will stand for what she believes in without backing down) Patronus: Dog (Border Collie) Blood status: Half-Blood (She’s well versed in both the muggle and wizarding world because of it) Excels: Care of Magical Creatures Sucks at Potions: She’s not even bad at it, she just likes to experiment and loved making her cauldron explode. Quidditch position: Chaser. Loves scoring against Hufflepuff’s Keeper, Levi Ackerman Pets: 2 toads named Sawney and Bean. but she’s always with the Care of Magical creatures professor  so like every animal in Hogwarts’ grounds knows and loves Hange. Hopes to one day own her own hippogriff.

Levi Ackerman Wand: Poplar/Unicorn Hair (a reliable, consistent wand with the rarest wood that is happiest with a wilder with clear moral vision) House: Hufflepuff (totally the black sheep of Hufflepuff, gloomy angry scowled boi but has the kindest heart of them all) Patronus: Black Cat Blood status: Pure-blood (of the Ackerman bloodline) Excels: Potions Sucks at Care of Magical Creatures (lol he just hesitates and gets grossed out sometimes and the animals feel that. They tolerate him because he hangs around Hange all the time) Quidditch Position: Keeper, loves to block goals by Hange of Gryffindor house Pets: He ends up taking care of Hange’s toads and gets his share of time with animals because of her. But he does have a small cat.

Erwin Smith Wand: Laurel/Dragonheartstring (Laurel wood does not tolerate laziness, and cannot perform a dishonorable act) House: Slytherin (driven, clever, strong sense of brotherhood aka really cares about those closest to him) Patronus: Deer (male) Blood Status: Muggle-born (credits to luanabonn for this one! I like the idea of Erwin being such a driven Slytherin down to his core, but he’s kinda outcasted for being muggle-born) Excels: Defense Against the Dark Arts Sucks at Herbology: It annoys him that his grades are perfect except for this class. Hange and Moblit always take turns to come help him. Quidditch: Chaser (always competitive against Hange) Pets: Also tired of running after Hange’s animals, can’t deal with another pet of his own lol. He has a snowy white owl thought so he can send letters to his family.

Moblit Berner Wand: Poplar/Unicorn Hair (the same wand as Levi’s. Hange teases Levi about this, and Levi gets a bit jealous of Moblit for a time over it. Moblit tries not to get involved) House: Gryffindor (kinda like Neville? always worried and skittish but will save you, super brave when needed to be) Patronus: Rabbit Blood Status: Muggle-born (parents are just as nervous as him, they ended up with a magical child after all) Quidditch: Seeker :) Excels: Herbology and Defense Against the Dark Arts Sucks at Potions: literally only because he abandons his work to try stopping Hange from making everything explode Pets: A small brown owl that perches on his shoulder a lot.

Mike Zacharias Wand: Maple/Dragon Heartstring (Maple is a wand of high achievers, growing in ability with its partner. He is very competitive as all Slytherins are, he and Erwin compete a lot which makes each other grow into skilled wizards) House: Slytherin (I think he’d be Erwin’s best friend in Slytherin house) Patronus: Dog (Bloodhound) Blood Status: Half-Blood Excels: Potions. Argument between him and Levi at who’s best at this subject. Levi has natural talent and Mike is good with his nose, which helps him greatly. Sucks at Transfiguration. Nanaba always helps him with this subject, and it’s how they became close friends. Quidditch: Beater. Idk why but this just makes sense to me lol Pet: Rat. Gets mad at Hange for sneaking the rat more cheese, and it gets very chubby.

Nanaba Wand: Alder/Unicorn hair (ideal owner is helpful, considerate, and likable) House: Hufflepuff (Levi’s only friend Hufflepuff house. She’s the only one he tolerates lol, and sees through his RBF) Patronus: Otter (otters cuddle and hug each other and I imagine she’s like this with all their friends.) Blood Status: Muggle-born Excels: Transfiguration. She turns Levi’s stuff into little animals that scurry away from him and he’s always running after something in the Hufflepuff common room. It annoys Levi but he can’t help but laugh sometimes when she does this. Sucks at no subjects actually. She has perfect scores because she’s naturally book smart, which annoys the hell out of Erwin. “Who care about plants???” he always says in response to Nanaba’s grades, and Moblit always gives him a glare. Quidditch: Beater. Will never let Mike forget that she hit a blundger right at Mike, and he fell and broke his arm. They get very competitive with each other during matches. Pets: Cat. Very floofy, helps keep watch over Sawney and Bean because they often escape the Gryffindor common room.

But I put them both as Hufflepuff more because of their usually "I'm here to back you up" loyalty toward Hanji and Erwin respectively. And they're fairly quiet, with Moblit getting loud bc of Hanji's dangerous experiences lmao

LEVI COULD DO SO WELL AS HUFFLY! It was the most difficult to place lol But he is known for not being too good in teams, but people loved to follow him anyway. Levi: proper thrash metal fan, i feel like he'd love the switch between powerful riffs/quieter rhythms with full on singing and guitar solos. might seem basic, but he knows all of the classics down to the pieces only hardcore fans have ever listened to, and even if he's open to newer stuff, nothing hits like old fashioned metal for him. ex: METALLICA

Bertholdt: rap metal, because he's a whole other kind of freak, isn't he?? don't you dare undermine "non-pure" metal subgenres in his presence because he will lose his usually collected shit. ex: 𝕭𝖔𝖉𝖞 𝕮𝖔𝖚𝖓𝖙

Sasha: stoner metal ftw!! she's all about those Vibes where the crowd is usually swaying more than fighting (she doesn't like pogo), plus the melodies remind her of the old rock she listened to with her dad! ex: BLACK RAINBOWS

Some more of my very random Vets Headcanons:

Erwin smells of vanilla and soap.

Nanaba loves yogurt with strawberries.

Mike has claustrophobia. Once, Erwin sent him to get cleaning products from the broom cupboard, the door closed on him and it got lightly stuck. He panicked. He could have easily brought down the door but his mind didn't work and he started hyperventilating. Levi heard him and opened the door. Mike rushed outside, still breathing heavily and Levi went to get Erwin because he didn't know what to do.

Levi's bed is always pushed against a wall.

Erwin has two bedside tables. One of them he actually uses, the other just has a candle that he never turns on and a handkerchief in case he needs to blow his nose during the night. He never actually uses it, but he hates the idea of having to get up and look for a handkerchief if he were to need it. He always forgets to put a glass of water though and has to get up in the middle of the night to get one.

Hange's room smells of citrus and parchment.

Hange loves liquorice. She loves it in any form but she particularly likes to chew on liquorice raw sticks. She gave one to Levi so he could try but he hated it. He loves it when her breath smells of liquorice though.

Hange, Mike and Erwin make fun of Levi pretending they are co-parenting him. "Here, I gave him a glass of milk because he was tired, he should sleep a few hours in the afternoon". "Did he have a potty break already?", "Has he started learning manners?".

Mike makes fun of Hange's old crush on Shadis every time he can. If he spots her in the corridor when he's turning a corner, he pretends he's speaking to Shadis.

Mike's horse is a female. He calls her Nicky but he actually named her Snickerdoodle.

Nanaba was offered to step up as Squad Leader quite a few times but declined every time. She's not interested in ranking and she just really wants to stay in Mike's squad so she can help him out as a second and they can watch each other's backs.

Whenever Hange's walking between Mike and Erwin, she likes to lock arms with them so they can lift her up and let her dangle from their arms.

But for times when he can't, he fishes out a carefully folded piece of paper from the bottom of his desk drawer; The first love letter you wrote to him. He has probably read it over a thousand times by now, his heart never failing to skip a beat at the sight of his name spelled out in your handwriting. He brings it to his face, inhaling the smell of your perfume off the parchment with the brightest smile on his face.

He leaves work early and drops by your favorite food truck to surprise you with dinner.

P.S.: Your voicemails are full of adorable, flirty messages from each other, and you listen to them many times throughout the day.

Hange Zoe

Hange works twelve hour shifts at the hospital, leaving their phone and other belongings in the locker room; which means that they have to go over half a day without you. Every time they are nervous before a complicated surgery or feeling grateful after a successful one, they pull out the silver pendant dangling on a silver chain, close to their heart, and open the tiny jewelry to find a photo inside, of you beaming at them. It never fails to bring them much needed solace when they press a kiss to it, dreaming about having you back in their arms.

Upon finally getting their hands on their phone in the evening, they send you a quick text before leaving for home, that makes you giggle when you read it.

"See you soon, cupcake! Can't wait to squish your face!"

P.S.: You drop by their hospital every few days with takeout from their favorite restaurant, having lunch together in your car while chit-chatting about your day.

Erwin Smith

Erwin is a busy man, juggling many deadlines and meetings on a daily basis. His schedule is a stressful one; and every time he needs to slow down, he finds himself lovingly gazing at the frame sitting pretty on the side of his desk. A picture of him and you, taken on one of the many vacations you took together. He keeps another photo of you in his wallet, sneaking glances at it whenever he thinks of you while on the go; a more intimate snap of him pressing a kiss to your temple as you lay your head on his chest. It calms his racing heart.

He hops on to his laptop to research destinations for your next trip together, minimizing the incognito window where he has spent days searching for the perfect solitaire ring to surprise you with.

P.S.: Erwin brings home a red rose for you every evening, accompanied by a small note reminding you of how much he loves you. You have a large jar full of them that you go back to when he’s on one of his long business trips.

Levi Ackerman

All Levi needs to do is raise his hand before his eyes every time he misses you. One look at the gleaming platinum band sitting snug around his ring finger is enough to make him forget about all his worries. The memories of the best day of his life when you happily slid it down his finger in front of your friends and family bring a faint smile to his face. He places a warm kiss on the ring while sipping on steaming tea out of the delicate porcelain cup that you gifted him on your second date, sighing at the thought of returning to you soon.

He checks the time every few minutes, not only to count down the hours before he sees you again, but also to get a glimpse of the phone screen that is a picture of you using your fingers to stretch his lips into a smile.

P.S.: You fluster him by texting him spicy photos of yourself, especially when you know that he's in a big meeting with Erwin and Miche.

levi is unattractive in the snk universe. like, his permanent scowl, his rude attitude and his short stature (i’m a fucking midget myself) so that’s why upon meeting him irl people are so surprised as he’s not the image they had created of humanity’s strongest in their heads.

hans has the prettiest eyes. she is quite handsome but her eccentric personality tends to scare people off. except levi of course, since they’re both abnormals. and hans isn’t scared of him in the slightest and slowly falls in love with him over the years, loves his eyes, loves that she can embrace him so tightly, loves how he looks and his heart? 😭🥺💞unconditional love!

we know that hans was levis translator! i’m pretty sure that she was his heart in a way? not only is hans smart but knowing what levi means and communicating with tiny gestures, looks and telepathy? or you know, in the forest? when she cried when killing their comrades and i know that levi felt the same sorrow but we have not seen him shed tears, hans is the only vet and commander who we’ve seen cry aaa 😭😭😭

hans was rich, probably ran away from home or something, because she had always wanted to join the survey corps. always been messy, never stopped writing. she doesn’t have time to keep herself clean or eat because she was probably taken care of like that at home. levi has lived in the slums so he’s scared that hans will catch an illness or die starving so he goes great lengths to protect her 🥺

hans was sheltered. still has that childlike wonder ofc. she wasn’t used to tragedy and wasn’t aware of how horrible the world can be until joining the corps. and then it became worse after the learned that titans were actually humans, seeing pastor nicks corpse was like a vibe check for hans lmao

levi realized that hans had feelings for him when they were in the forest and hans told him that she wanted to live there together with him, and hans thought that he didn’t reciprocate until the “dedicate your heart”. it’s levi’s confession and hans was ready to break right there because it was too late 🥺💔

that’s why hans had to quickly walk away before it became more painful 😔 the realization was honestly painful for all of us tbh. oh and last but not least levi is in denial about hans’ death like all of us 😃😃🔫

omg?? i really like the one about unattractive levi! like yeah, he's definitely not conventionally attractive, and when nobles see him on various celebrations and what not, they think he's ugly (especially when he's standing next to tall, broad-shouldered and blonde commander handsome lmao). hange doesn't share their opinion, though, because 1) hange doesn't really care about conventional norms, and 2) she genuinely thinks that levi is very cute, she likes his eyes, even though they're a bit too narrow and he's always glaring, she adores his little adorable nose that is just perfect for booping, and maybe, he's too short but his complexion is perfect for using odm-gear and hange enjoys watching levi move, and only one thought crosses her mind in that moments - that levi is beautiful.

so maybe one day she said exactly that to levi. she called him handsome, and levi thought she was joking, he thought hans was mocking him? and levi's ready to lash out, because "wow, got tired of mocking my height? now you've decided to make fun of my face too? no one can be a beauty from rich family like you, four-eyes," but hange stops him, before he can say something more harmful. she looks genuinely confused, she doesn't understand why levi would think she mocks him, he is indeed very handsome. levi still doesn't believe her, so she starts listing all the things that she likes about his appearance? it's quite a long list, and by the end of it, levi's cheeks are on fire, but he's also very grateful to hange. she's the first one who told him something like that, and it made him feel better about his looks.

also little bonus???? when they're in a forest, and hange was done with stitching his wounds, she whispers 'still so handsome' while gently caressing levi's cheek? she thinks that levi's asleep but he actually heard her💔

and about sheltered hange! levi was probably annoyed by her in the beginning, because he just couldn't understand why someone would waste their lives in corps if they had a safe, warm home. he thought that hange was bratty and spoiled, and she joined the corps just to rebel against her parents? his opinion started to change however when he saw how dedicated hans is to their cause. and after that, maybe, he became more protective of her? he knew he couldn't shield her from people's cruelty completely, but he did try to minimise the impact at least

also a small hc i just thought about? since hanjo is levi's translator, imagine levi who in the morning communicates only by grunts? hange is the only one who can deal with him until he had his first cup of tea. imagine everyone's shock when levi walks into the mess hall and his squad approaches him, asking about today's training, and levi just grunts. hange's by his side instantly, and she's like "today your captain wants you to improve your teamwork, he wants to try and make your actions more coordinated, he'll join you in fifteen minutes". and levi's squad looks really doubtful, but then levi nods, gestures to hange, lets out another grunt and walks away. erwin approaches him too, smiles and asks how was his night, and, again, levi just grunts, this time a bit soffer. "he says that he still couldn't sleep for long, but he started sleeping a little bit better after you gave him his own room. he thanks you for that," hange translates and levi grunts affirmatively. erwin smiles awkwardly and lets them be. he doesn't want to even think about what just happened. it's too early for a headache.
