Meet Clyde. He's 2 years 3 months-old and sponsored by Amber Wells. SNAP Cats rescued Clyde from Kings County (CA). When Clyde first arrived with his sister, Bonnie, they were very bonded. Since then, the two have gradually de-bonded (there’s that word again!), and Bonnie was adopted! YAY!
Clyde can be a bit skittish to begin with, but once he gets to know you, he’ll warm up quickly, especially if there’s food involved! Despite missing both back paws, Clyde gets around great. His legs stay sore-free, so they shouldn’t be an issue in the future. Clyde did have a hematoma on his ear, thus the crinkling, but it’s healed, and we think adds a lot of character.
If you’re interested in Clyde please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

BLACK CAT FRIDAY!
Rufus is 1 year 6 months-old and sponsored by Will & Stephanie McIntosh. SNAP Cats rescued Rufus from Whittier, CA.
Rufus came to us as a 3 month-old FeLV+ kitten in August, 2023. Since Rufus made it to adulthood (which is rare for FeLV+ kittens) and had been doing so well (showing no signs of slowing down), we retested him for FeLV on October 8, 2024. He tested negative! We retest FeLV+ kittens who make it to adulthood because they have a 60% chance of shedding the virus naturally. Rufus is now in the 60% Club!
Rufus is the sweetest, most loving and vocal (when it comes to wet food) kitten ever! Rufus gets along great with the other kittens and cats, is extremely playful, and the cutest cat in our facility (don’t tell the other kittens!).
Since Rufus is now FeLV- he’ll fit into any household who wants a very playful, loving kitty!
If you’re interested in Rufus please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks!

This is Jewel. She’s 3 years 7 months-old and sponsored by Lynn Richardson. SNAP Cats rescued Jewel from Merced, CA. Jewel is just that: a real jewel. She’s the first kitty to greet you when you come in the room, and won’t let you leave until she gets your attention, plenty of pets and everything that goes along with that. Jewel gets along great with the other kitties, so she’d be fine in a home with other cats.
BTW: Please don't be afraid of FIV. It's nothing. Really. Slightly compromised immune system. That's it. Just like a FIV- cat, Jewel will live a long, healthy life if you take good care of her. Jewel's not aggressive toward other cats so there's no chance of her transmitting it.
If you’re interested in Jewel please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

This beautiful young lady is Clover. She’s 6 months-old and FeLV+. Clover was found in an apartment complex in Rohnert Park and brought to the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter (RPAS) where she was vaccinated and spayed. That’s when they discovered Clover was FeLV+. So RPAS called us…
And the rest is history.
Thank you to the RPAS for getting Clover up-to-date on vaccines, spaying her, and getting her to SNAP Cats!

Pepper is 6 months-old and sponsored by Vendetta Yenter. SNAP Cats rescued Pepper from Madera, CA. Pepper is a spicy girl! She has lots of energy and loves to play play play! She also likes to eat eat eat (wet food). Pepper’s ataxia is moderate+, but she gets around just fine. Pepper would benefit from being with another kitten about her age although she does well at entertaining herself to burn-off all of that energy.
If you’re interested in Pepper please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks!

WHITE (WHY IS THIS KITTY STILL HERE?!) CAT WEDNESDAY!
Bea is 3 years 4 months-old and sponsored by Leah Hennen. SNAP Cats rescued Bea from Oakland, CA. Bea does not have any special needs because she came to us bonded with her brother, Bertie, who is a dwarf kitty with ataxia. Once they were here for a while, the two de-bonded (is that a word?), and Bertie was adopted in November 2021.
Bea is the typical, playful cat who can’t seem to run out of energy. Bea LOVES to chase the spring toy. Keeps her entertained for hours. Bea will make a wonderful addition to any family who has a cat or two about her age. If you don't have a cat or two, we can also help with that!
Please note that Bea underwent GS-441524 treatment for FIP in the beginning of 2022. Since her treatment ended in March 2022, her response to the treatment has been extremely positive. Bea shows absolutely no signs of FIP at all. Although we can’t guarantee she won’t develop FIP again (we can’t guarantee ANY cat won’t develop FIP), we’re almost certain that she won’t since she's gone more than two years without any signs of it returning.
If you’re interested in Bea please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks.

BLACK CAT FRIDAY!
First, check out GG's Tik Tok video - https://www.tiktok.com/@snapcatssr/video/7420912557684198686.
GG is 8 years 6 months-old and sponsored by Linda Higgins. SNAP Cats rescued GG from Rohnert Park, CA. Don’t let that "way-to-serious" face fool you. GG is a very sweet, loving, chill kitty, who’s fairly independent and doesn’t need a whole lotta attention, other than his twice-daily insulin injections, which he takes extremely well (doesn't even notice). GG gets along fine with the others here, is kinda picky about his wet food (but he DEFINITELY likes his wet food!), and just kinda sits around and watches the world go by him.
If you’re interested in GG please fill out an adoption application at https://www.snapcats.org/category/adoption/catsforadoption/. Thanks!

ANOTHER FOSTER FAIL!
Hartley came to us on September 7, 2024. He was found in a graveyard in Lakeport, CA. We think someone dumped him there because he’s very affectionate. Hartley’s original mobility challenges were in his back legs and right front leg. By the time he arrived here he was using his back legs (100%) but still lame on his right front leg. Well, that quickly cleared up, too, and now Hartley is using all 4 legs 100%.
We placed Hartley in foster care with volunteer Irina because Hartley was very small for his age. With Irina and her family, Hartley would receive more attention, which would hopefully stimulate his appetite. Well, it has! Although Hartley’s still a bit small for his age, he’s catching up and growing fast.
Of course, once you meet Hartley you instantly fall in love with him. And that’s what happened with Irina and her family, husband Michael and daughter, Sasha.
Thank you, Irina, Michael and Sasha, for giving Hartley a wonderful, new, loving home!
