Preview of Basilisk, my personal favorite of my risograph comics, and the project all my other recent medieval-inspired art descends from.
Styled after medieval illuminated manuscripts and printed using a custom color palette requiring 5 risograph inks (including metallic gold), Basilisk asks the question: what would drive a teenage girl to create a monster?
Physical copies available here. To brag for a moment--this is my masterwork of riso printing and is even more impressive in person.

Dumb niche thing that mostly just informs my writing and whatever but here are some Redmayne boys and their tattoos.
I guess some notes - other than all the obvious fire and lightning and skulls everywhere, Alex has marigolds and a monarch - both symbols of death, but unlike the skulls, these are more for memorializing and showing love to the souls of the dead. People he has known who he hopes found peace after all their struggles. He also has a skeletal arm throwing dice (badass), a set of eagle talons (badass), and a chain pattern (badass but also see my characterization notes on how he uses chains as weaponry).
Dale is our music boy and so of course in addition to the musical sleeve he has a badass flaming electric guitar over his heart. Because why be subtle about your passions.
Johnnie hasn't had the time or patience to sink as much into this as his brothers have, ha. But he does have a little storm/hurricane symbol on his shoulder. He has ideas for more tattoos if anyone can ever get him to sit still long enough for more (this will not happen, as we know).
Lots of bonus random battle scars because you know they all have some.
