Snailpaw / He/They / SkyClan Apprentice (Old Forest/Pre-TPB) I just had to draw this oc once the design came to my mind but classic tabby markings are a lot harder to make look cohesive than I thought lol I don't have much ideas for personality for him besides shy and intuitive with expressive eyes [Image ID: a light brown tabby cat stands crouched in a solid green background, he has lighter fur on paws, belly, and face with blue eyes, 'Snailpaw' is written behind him, my watermark is pasted twice on him]

Moon 7

I am so happy with this moon!! I'm not sure how often I'll be able to put this much effort into pages again, especially the backgrounds, but I wanted to spend some extra time on this moon since so much happens :3

The first page features Juniperstar, Mousekit, and Shimmerkit from @nettleclan-clangen! I had SO much fun drawing the babies <3

Crowheart has main character syndrome and honestly I'm so here for it. PLUS OUR FIRST CANON SHIP! PebbleCrow my beloved omg you have no idea how much I wanted to spoil this <33

Current Allegiances

Snailpaw is a lanky apprentice with fine, tuxedo fur. She is 6 moons old. She has downturned, yellow eyes and an angular jaw. She is confident and flirtatious, but grumpy. She has a lot of friends, but she doesn't feel really close to any of them. She often has mint stuck in her fur.

“Her warrior name should be ‘Flycatcher’.” Wolfpaw snidely remarked, loud enough for Snailpaw to hear. “You know, because her paws are the size of tree tr-”

WHACK

Wolfpaw staggered under the force of Snailpaw striking him in the face, skidding a few inches in the sand where he stood wide eyed and stunned.

“She HIT me!” He shrieked in outrage, turning to his mentor for help.

Breathing hard, Snailpaw winced, shaking out her now stinging forepaw. Despite the sobering shame of her violent outburst, she couldn’t help but be a little pleased with herself for wiping Wolfpaw’s stupid smug smirk off his pretty face.

“Well, this is the training hollow.” Owlface’s whiskers were twitching with poorly suppressed amusement. “What did you expect?”

Snailpaw’s ears pricked. Weren’t they going to punish her?

“I wasn’t her opponent! That’s against the rules!”

“I didn’t see any claws unsheathed. Did you Duskheart?”

“No.” Duskheart replied in his blunt, matter-of-fact tone that Snailpaw had grown accustomed to. Even though her mentor was a cat who never so much as smiled, she could have sworn there was a small gleam of mischief in his cold eyes. 

“Then it’s allowed.” Owlface flicked his tail. “If you have a problem with it, then accept her challenge.” Then is a lower, more severe tone, he added. “If you plan to make rude remarks about other cats, you need to be fully prepared for the consequences.”
