applepaw, medicine cat apprentice, wanting to bond with one of his mentor figures: yeah so medicine cat training is going well :D there are so many herbs to remember though it's such a chore but cedarberry is being really understanding she's so nice I like her. ANYWAYS I spoke to a starclan cat for the first time and they told me I was super talented and they promised to talk to me more often!! did you know that there are starclan cats walking with us and watching over us at all times?? cedarberry told me that and I think it's awesome!!

Villain Idea

Cedarberry Stanson had a history of being overlooked. An apprentice to the most demanding locksmith in town, Cedar watched friends learning a trade while their own master kept them busy making deliveries and sweeping. The poor young Dwarf could not feel like a full member of society without being useful.

Then one night, as they sat by the fireplace, the shadow on the wall spoke. I can be your confidence, it said. I can make them respect you. You will be strong enough to change this place, and all you have to do is lend me some time.

Since then, Cedar has noticed that hours will go by unremembered, but the fine locks built overnight are worth it. The master is impressed by their work, and surprised. (Jealous of your skill, the shadow whispers. He’ll hold you back if you’re not careful). A few local thugs came looking for protection money, and the next thing Cedar saw was the rusty stain on the floor and a mop in their hands. The shadow says they shouldn’t worry. The shadow will take care of everything.

The important thing about a villain like this is that Cedar, the host, is fairly innocent. The demon can make them do terrible things, and they may be gullible, or desperate to ignore the evidence, but it’s only a matter of time until they learn something that turns the tables. Let the party help them fight the possession (maybe Cedar is a childhood friend?)

Just Don’t Regret, Please

When i accidentally ate frog legs and you said “so you cant escape the frogs after all” and while we laughed I accidentally pushed you over. 

I fall asleep to music that drowns it out. How many years did it take for him to be able to sleep in a bed with a woman again and you left him in the dust. Selfish bitch. 

Please don’t regret that you ever cared about this “cookoo” girl, for you weren’t a waste of my time, regardless of how wrong we were. 

I hope you remember things like I do, and smile. Remember wrestling; my favorite moments were when I kissed you and all of your aggression melted -- that was when I could strike and win the game! 

Our debates were like us -- we never agreed, but it was what allowed us to learn from each other. We grew in this relationship, I hope. Can I hope that you learned to be more vocal, and more understanding? I already know that I understand a little more of the world because of you. I think I learned to give before I can get, to entertain what-ifs, to trust that men are not evil. 

Will you remember that time we tried to go to a batting cage but...that day we ended up at the cemetery instead. Shall I make a macabre joke about that being our relationship?

He was special. Facing his front, I saw a man whose past intimidated me. But from his back, I saw a boy who was unarmed for the future. I hope you get everything you want, no matter how difficult what you are facing will be. 

I hope you get what you want, and understand that you didn’t give me what I want.

my new island is slowly coming together, day by day i get to work on something new.
