Pecharunt: I’ve been described as a ‘heartless villain’ and a 'little shit’, but I prefer… 'has alternative ways of having fun’.

I was starting to type this in the tags of the previous ask but it got too long-winded and besides the point so I thought to make a separate post. This is to everyone reading that might be in the case of the funk™ (like, funk in general) as well, since I have experienced it many times, and will keep to as long as I live, as it's just a thing of life. I don't know where I heard this from, and if my brain concocted some parts of it at some point, but... life truly is like a river. Sometimes you encounter rocks, some small, some big, some easy to get through, some more difficult. But the water gets through it as long as it keeps flowing. Sometimes there are a bunch of rocks, rocks that block the passage completely. But if the water doesn't stop and stagnate, the flow will eventually erode the rocks, and water will be able to flow again. That is to say... you may rest, you may slow down, but never give up, never stop flowing. As long as you don't give up, at some point you will overcome the rocks.

baby has trouble with communicating sometimes and building a whole sentence, which can lead to frustration and intense difficulty in sharing feelings and important information, but sometimes it leads to conversations that are just her urgently coming up to jesse and tugging on his sleeve and being like "snail." "snail?" "snail in the house." "snail in the house?" "snail inside the house!!" "OH. oh shit, show me"

Do you know for sure the snails died because of the betta? bettas usually can't outright kill snails unless they're exposed on their backs or fail to get into their shells fast enough which is really rare.
we think so bc it looked like there were torn up pieces of the snails' bodies floating around... but i wasn't there that's just second hand info. i could ask around for more

Thinking about an in-universe explanation for why stands start out pretty basic and consistent but then get crazier and crazier, and I headcanon it's because the number of stand users keeps increasing so nature itself has to keep making stands more and more niche to avoid mix-ups between users
The sentient embodiment of stand energy: yeah ok you get *spins wheel* a GREEN GUY who *spins another wheel* PUNCHES HARD... wait shit I already have too many guys who punch that could be confusing... ok fuck it your stand is GREEN RABBIT that MELTS PEOPLE'S FEET

So... Before my snails had babies I worried I was going to find it really hard to cull the babies, because 1. I received my own snails at the newly-hatched age, so I've actually cared for and raised those tiny, adorable creatures before and 2. I do not ever kill bugs and couldn't even bring myself to kill the highly invasive harlequin ladybirds I saw last summer. But uh, it's been like a week since I first noticed baby snails and I'm already at the stage of literally just crushing them individually between my thumb and forefinger on sight. And I'm not going to lie, it actually feels pretty satisfying doing it. Their shells are so tiny and fragile that they just crumble instantly, which is good for both me and the snails because they die in a split second and have no idea what hit them

I saw this and it reminded me of Philip Wittebane. So I must buy it. Now it sits on my dresser next to the snail. (That I also bought today)
