When New Yorkers fixate on a new food fad, they get obsessed, enough to wait in line, a very long line even. Now it seems the latest culinary hybrid worth waiting several hours for is the ramen burger that Keizo Shimamoto debuted at Smorgasburg two weekends ago. His beef patty wedged between a fried-noodle bun smothered with secret sauce had people lining up for the super-limited quantities of just 150 burgers. This past weekend, he more than doubled the servings—and the line—which stretched all the way to the East River and started forming at 8 a.m., according to Grub Street.

#Smorgasburg & a day in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Today (after a few mimosas and a fabulous homemade brunch) I met up with Sarah and headed to Williamsburg to grab lunch at the Smorgasburg food fest. There were a ton of food vendors with lot's of amazing dishes. We decided to go with pupusas from Solber Pupusas. SO NOMZ. Other than eating, we sat beneath the sun on the waterfront, people watched and strolled along Bedford Avenue. If living in the East Village doesn't work out, I could totally live in Williamsburg. Here's a glimpse into what my day looked like, enjoy. :)
