tweetgen - everything to do with twitter, i do on there!

memi (app) - it crashes a lot, but you can do group chats there, so i'd recommend only for that

canva - to clump pics together e.g., tweets and reply chains

i use picsart to make the posts itself with the pictures, and then pinterest/instagram to find said images!

for the stories, i just find an image and go on the instagram app and make a story there, and save it to my cr!

i use tweetgen to make all of the tweets/replies

MESSAGES

i use memimessage for the imessages (i have no clue if it's available for android users or not) - the app is slightly glitchy but it does the job!

𓈒༷♪˚.✧ How to make a mockup like this for smaus, ocs, etc. (step-by-step tutorial ☆ no Photoshop, easy, free) (requested by @lovebittenbyevans) ✿

guys this took me two hours to make and you could probably get this done in like, 30 minutes :) I hope this is coherent <3 Please look back this image for comparisons, if my explanation is not well explained, etc.

first of all, if you dont already have one, make a free canva acount. once you're signed in, hit the purple "create design" button on the sidebar. A pop-up will appear with different design template options. For this design, we want the dimentions to be 1080 x 1080, so you can either make a custom size or choose the instagram post (square) template by either searching or scrolling through the list.

2. Now you have a blank page. Zoom in with the slider at the bottom of the page if you need to (Mine is currently zoomed in 41%). Click on the page and change the color to an off black (hex code #111111).

3. Now that the color is changed, click the "elements" tab and search "line". Click the shape and it will add it to the page automatically. These line are particularly hard to navigate and hard to get it at the right angle and length so this part might take a little longer than the rest.

4. stretch it from top to button and turn in a 90 angle so its straight on the left side of the page. Change the color of this as well to a grey tone (hex code #2F2F2F).

5. Now we'll add the Instagram logo. Click the "text" tab then click the purple "add text box" button. Write "Instagram" in the box and change the font to "apricots". This is the closest font I could find that resembled the logo font but if you find a better one, feel free to use that instead. Make the font size 19.3 (you can do this manually or do it in the text options). Change the color to grey color (hex code #707070). Add it to the upper left corner of the page like this:

6. now we're adding icons and a menu inside the border we just made. Click the "elements" tab again and search for "instagram home icon" and add the element by sketchify to the page. Click the home icon, an options icon with pop-up above the page. Look for the "Position" button and click it. Scroll to find the advanced options and you can manually type in the width and height at 26.6 and 28.7.

Move it inside the border, under the logo (photo below). Change the color again (the hex code is #707070).

7. Open the text tab and add a text box. Change the font to Canva Sans and write "Home" in the box. Change the font size to 18.1 and align with with the house icon. It will look something like this,

8. Go into the elements tab again and search "instagram search icon". Scroll until you find the one by sketchify and add it to the page.

9. Shrink it so the W and H is at 36.6 and 31.3. Move it below the home icon until a purple "67" pop ups and aligns under it. Change it to the same color as the Home text and icon (#707070). Go ahead and Duplicate the the "Home" text box and clicking it and a pop-up will show up then edit the text so it says "Search" and align with the searcch icon we just added.

10. You know the drill. We are continuing to search up more icons in the "elements" tab. Search "instagram compass icon" and choose the one by sketchify (are u seeing the pattern?). Add it to the page and change the width and heigth to 33.1. align it under the search icon just like how we did before and change it to the say colors as the other icons.

11. Do the same as before and write "Explore" in a text box and align it with the icon. We're doing the same thing for all of these.

We'll be using the same search prompt for all of these icons so just change the type of icon you're looking for like we've done before hand. Next look for the Instagram reel icon and add the outlined one by sketchify and change the W and H to 31.2 x 30.9. Change the color to the ones we've used before, align it underneath the icons above and add your text ("Reels").

12. The next icon is an outlined, "sent" one. W and H is 31.1 x 27. The text will say "Send". Then an heart outline by sketchify; W and H is 34.2 x 29.1 and the text is "Likes". Next is the "create" outline icon by sketchify, W and H is 36.8.

(p.s if you are struggling to align the icons and text correctly, shoot me a message and I'll send you the X and Y positions ;D)

If you followed it through, it should look like this,

13. Now onto step 13, we'll be adding the Threads logo. You don't have to add this but to make it look more like the actual website, I will be adding it. Open the "text" tab and add a text box. Write an "@" symbol in the box and change the font to Nanum Sqaure and the size to 24.9. Add in the bottom corner below all the icons we just added to our page. We need another text box now (Color is still #707070), write "Threads" and align it to the "@" symbol.

14. We're adding another icon now. Search "Instagram menu icon" and find a wireframe menu icon by sketchify. the W and H are 42.5 x 24.6. Add a text box that says "More". It will look like this:

We are a quarter way done now :D

15. Search in the elements tab "circle frame" and look for the one with a little border around it.

At first, the circle will be green and inside the circle will be white. Change the white to color of the background of the page (hex code #111111) then change the green to a grey color (#8D8986).

16. Add a new text box, change the font to Canva Sans and the size to 22.8 and the color is white. I just wrote "user.name" in the box. the W and H will be 153.3 x 35.7.

Enter the "elements" tab and search for a blue checkmark and find the icon by Victor Aguiar. The W and H is 28.1 by 28.

17. Search in the search box for a rectangular shape and add it to the page. Place it next to your username and checkmark icon and make the W and H to 149.6 x 38. Add another and place it next to the other rectangle shape. the W x H is 111.4 x 36.7.

Change the color of both boxes to #2F2F2F. Add a text box and write "following" then change the W and H to 82.6 x 21.8 and fit it inside the first box. Add a second text box and write "message" in it then change the W and H to 77.8 x 21.8. Change both text colors to #7A7A7A

18. Add another text box. Write "<" and turn it upside down and place it beside the "following" text inside the rectangle. Adjust the size as you need to. I also like the round the corners to around 8 so its not so pointy and square.

19. Add 3 new text boxes. Write the amount of posts, the amount of accounts you're following and the amount of followers your have. Write "20 posts", "30 following" "40 followers". Bold the numbers and change the text W and H to 116.4 x 32.7. These are just place holders that I use.

20. Open the "elements" tab again and search "frame". Choose the first one.

We want the height and width to be 268 x 252.4. Place it at the bottom of the page but we want some space between the frame and the page.

Now we'll duplicate the frame we just placed (the icon between the comment and trash can on the pop up above the frame). Place it next to the previous frame but we want to leave a bit of space between them like this:

If its a little wonky, don't worry. You can always adjust it so it looks right.

Duplicate the frame again and place it next the second frame you just placed, same distance between. Make sure they're even. Now we have a row.

Select all three frames and duplicate them. Move them above our original frames but leave a little space between them.

Again, if they're uneven, adjust them as you need to.

21. Select the line again from the elements tab. Stretch starting from the top frame to the last frame and make the color grey (#2F2F2F).

Because the line is stupid hard to navigate, use something like a text box to mark where you want it to end like this:

Delete the text box and the line with be where we want it.

22. On to the highlight reels. Seach for "add button" and find the one by Barudak Lier.

Change the heigh and width to 81.1 and move it above the border.

Search for circle frames now and add this one to the page (The same one we used for the pfp), change the width and height to 85.4 and move it next to the add button. Since this is a generic, blank template, I add about 4 of these highlight frames but you can do however many you want. You can change the border color to a gradient or leave it grey.

Add a text box now. The font will be Canva Sans, the size will be 18.1 and the color will be white. Change the text to "Add" and place it under our add button. Make more of these text boxes to place under the circle frames. Depending on which frame its under, write "Highlight 1", "Highlight 2", etc. etc. or you can give them different names and such.

23. Add another text box, write "name" and bold it, change the size to 19.1 and the W and H to 69.2 x 28.8. The font will be Canva Sans and the color will be white. It will go under the amount of posts, followings and followers.

Add another box. The font is Canva Sans, font size to 20.1, the W and H is 40.8 x 31.3 and the color is white as well. This is our "bio". Place it under "name".

Yay!🎉🎉🎉 You're halfway done!

24. Search for a shape in the elements. Look for the rectangle again and add it. Change the width and height to 460 x 760.4 and the color to an off black/grey color (#191919), placing it like this:

Get the same kind of square frame we used before to make the profile grid and make it the same size as the rectangle we just added. Place right up against the rectangle like it's its other half. Add another line like before and span across the upper half of the black rectangle as a border then add a circle frame inside the border.

Add a text box, "user.name" and align it with the frame. The text is white and the W and H is 111.5 x 25.9

25. Add more circle frame along the inside of the rectangle to resemble the comment section. Make sure the W and H of the frames are 46.1.

Add more text boxes that align with the frames you just made and write "username" again and bold them. Add even more text boxes that align with the usernames and write "comment". These are place holders for when you decide to use this template.

Add another rectangle on the lower part of the rectangle and make the color black. and search for "instagram heart icon", "instagram comment icon" and "instagram send icon". Make sure the lines are thick. Find the heart icon by sketchify, and the the comment and send icon are by Mirazz Creations. Make the lines white and make sure the W and H are the following:

Heart icon: 38.7 x 32.9

Comment icon: 35.2 x 35. 8

Send icon: 35 x 32

Next, look for "instagram bookmark icon" and find the one by Adricreative. Change the color to white and the W and H to 29.7 x 40.2. Move it to the other end of the rectangle.

26. Now add three circles frames and change the W and H to 37.2. Move them below the heart icon and have them overlap each other some. Then, add a text box and write "liked by username and 1000 others". Change the font size to 13.6 and change the font to Canva sans. the color will be white. Align this with the three overlapped frames.

27. Look in the elements tab for an emoji icon and choose the one by Soni Soukell from Noun Project. The W and H will be 32.8 and the color is white.

Now add a another text box and write "Write a comment". The color will be white, the font size will be 14.2 and align with the emoji icon you just placed.

Search for "next arrow button" by Pixeden and make the W and H 42.8 then add it to both sides of the post.

And you're all done with your template! All that is left to do is fill it but before doing that, duplicate the page so you always have an extra blank mockup if you want to use it again.

To fill the frames, upload an image (or use a Canva stock photo), drag and hover it over the frame and it will fill the frame.

hi! here are the two apps i use for my smaus, memi message for texts and twinote for twitter. neither are perfect so i do use picsart to edit in things like pictures on the messages (because the app will squish pictures if you try to send them in chat 👎 boo)

do keep in mind i have an iphone and so have no idea about whether these apps are available or accessible on other devices

the inner monologue of lee heeseung

saying people could not understand the struggles lee heeseung was facing would be the biggest way to remark on the insane privilege he had. he was a handsome young man, the son of the chairman of a successful company; he was smart, he grew up with the fanciest clothes and going to the nicest schools, he had made his own money and established himself in the industry while still having a trust fund bigger than what a normal person could imagine.

he could pretty much do nothing and make himself richer just by breathing.

except he didn’t, he learned at the young age of 14 that there were clear expectations in a family like his, and he understood that as much as his family claimed to be different in front of the cameras, the same basis was set into his life, he was always meant to be the spare of a company, a shadow if you will, even if he genuinely had a passion for something, he could never be better than lee seunghan.

the heir, the best, the older brother he wished he didn’t have, his brother was not brilliant; he was simply average, but being the oldest son meant everything, he could have failed an entire course but he would still be the golden child, heeseung never understood that.

how was he meant to compete with something he would never be able to change?

his parents kept pushing and pushing, trying to get him to try harder, but not hard enough, it was a push-and-pull game he never truly understood.

Why? Why bother?

the first eight years of his life were better, there was not a lot of competition, eight-year-old heeseung would probably claim that he got along well with his brother. It wasn't until lee seunghan was ten that he was introduced to what one day would be his, the leiras automotive company. leiras meant everything to the lee family, a small family that focused their every resource on turning a small company that manufactured car parts into designing and producing their own cars that were being used in almost all of asia, he heard stories of how his grandparents struggled economically to create the company, he remembered one of the only times he saw his father smile being the time the company secured the exportation deal that got the company out of south korea.

he was well aware leiras meant everything to his family and he worked his butt off to belong in it.

but listening to the talks of the relatives calling his brother the heir and the new ceo stung his heart, he remembered he would never be able to aspire to be more than a director in the company, his ladder stood lower than the one lee seunghan had.

still, he kept trying and holding on, hoping that maybe one day his parents would wake up and realize that capability and passion were more important than age and status, he wanted it to be a fair succession race.

but after every meeting, he realized he was still a child wishing for the unimaginable.

he was well aware that he could not trust anyone; when he was in his early twenties the media ate him alive, the bachelor who would never commit was born after multiple photos leaked when he was sent on the blind dates his parents organized, he learned those leaks came from inside, because who would people trust more in a company?

the popular and young heartbreaker? or the pristine older brother?

he didn’t want to hate his brother, he was also a pawn in the capitalistic views of his family but still deep inside he felt rancor, he resented him a lot, heeseung knew he wasn’t as passionate as himself, yet he never tried to step down or come to an arrangement, he was fully comfortable benefiting from that flawed system and deep inside him he understood that, if he had the chance of being born as the first son he would’ve been unstoppable.

the life he lived was pretty much decided by other people, he was not used to the idea of doing something because of his wants, his life was rigged by what people needed of him. even though he was a full-grown adult he was still speaking with the people his parents approved of. he was lucky enough that his friends were from wealthy families and that his parents didnt fully opposed it.

since he turned twenty-five the talks of marriage for succesion started being heard in the halls of his family home (and maybe his frontal lobe finished developing) he started "acting out" which was pretty much him being selfish for the first time in his life. he started making secret business with his father's blacklisted companies because he clearly was more bothered by his ego than by their capabilities; heeseung created in a year an amazing team making his department the most lucrative in the work division, he moved out and started living alone.

he was finally doing okay and he was finally proud of his work and convictions.

until everything got ruined by his parent's plans. and he underestimated the amount of pressure he could feel now that their eyes were on him.

he felt out of control and just like he felt at 18 right before going to business school or at 22 when he was sent to work at the company and he felt stressed from just thinking of what his coworkers thought of him from entering through the door just by being the boss son.

heeseung was falling, he was losing it. he hated not being in control of everything which was ironic since he was well aware that said control was limited by the people in higher power than him. he felt trapped and unable to think of a way to get away from it.

he could leave, quit the company, and risk being disowned, but he was scared, all his life working and preparing himself for having the same job and following the life his parents created way before he was able to talk.

but the feeling of the unknown was even more scary for him than the idea of following the steps that were drawn for him.

until he saw the girl who kept reaching for his hand coming back to him, even when he hurt her, and when he was embarrassing himself in front of her, he could not understand her, why was kang yn so nice to him? can people really not be interested in money? or connections? how can a relationship like that work?

Heeseung could not understand her even though he spent almost every afternoon with her for more than a month. they were raised differently and he understood how having a support system could mold the view of the world. and she was keen on sharing her lifestyle with him, even when they did not enjoy spending time alone together, she got along with the people near him, and sharing time with her started to get less and less annoying.

he started feeling comfortable with someone new for the first time in a while. but he was the best at self-sabotaging the little happiness he was able to feel. he felt unworthy of that, he finally started to know the feeling of wanting something and he was aware that those feelings were not aligned with his career and future path.

heeseung didnt even gave himself the chance of admitting he felt something when he first kissed her at the party; even less after knowing he fucked up the little chances he still allowed to feel he had of having something real with her. after many drinks he felt comfortable with himself admitting that he was a fool by not thinking of a way to protect her, she hid a lot of her relationships with the people he knew and he was aware that there was not enough trust with each other.

and still, he burned the bridge even before it was built just by staying silent while people gave backhanded comments he was not aware existed, after a while comments about him fell on deaf ears but he was selfish enough to forget that kang yn was still new to that atmosphere.

he was not that dumb, he knew he fucked up; but he was a proud man, he wouldn't admit it to anyone but himself, mainly because of the fact that he did not know how to fix it.

there was not a single part of him that did not regret how things went down, but he knew there was no way in hell she didn't hate him when she had every right to, and that made him scared of trying to fix it. he knew it was better for her to hate him when he didn't even know how to keep her in his life while not hurting her any longer.

even in his drunk mind, he was conscious enough he was not in the right place to be with her any time soon, at least until he found a way to fix himself and the issues around being with lee heeseung.

so why is she still reaching out to him?

Chapter five = Hot privileges revoked

Y/n knew just by the address alone that it wasn’t a good idea to give Jaemin his bag tonight. Not just from a gut feeling but by the fact this very wealthy guy who comes from old money had asked to meet her downtown, he’d tried bringing her to some stuck up cafe only yesterday so this just all smelled like a walking disaster waiting to happen.

But on the other hand she had to keep civil with Jaemin, they had an assignment to finish after all and she’d be damned if she let one little thing like this stop them from completing an important assignment that was worth one fourth of their grading this year in human resources.

Y/n knew she was overthinking it, surely not giving him his bag today wouldn’t have caused any problems with the assignment but she also wasn’t going to risk it. It’s hard enough getting into Neo T University with a scholarship, if her grades went below a high B she’d be in trouble. She’d only started at Neo Technology and wasn’t about to be kicked to the curb in her first month.

Realistically she’d already thought over every possibility of why Jaemin would need tape for his hands. But the only one that made the most sense was medical. Hand tape from what she did know about it could be used for two things. Prevent injuries or prevent even more damage to an already injured area.

No, she didn’t snoop around his bag because not only would that invade his privacy but because she didn’t want to know what else a stuck up, wealthy guy in his twenties decided was important to be kept in his bag.

Getting to the address didn’t take too long, Jaemin had been right on the fact it wasn’t very far from her place. But getting closer and closer she noticed it was just a normal building with loud music emanating from the place, the bass boosted as per usual with their generation.

It must have been some closed off club to wealthy young adults with too much time on their hands. Which wasn’t uncommon, she’d heard of them before. Pulling out her phone she shot Jaemin a quick test while shifting his bag straps that was hanging off one of her shoulders.

Pocketing her phone she only looked up when she heard footsteps approaching. She had to admit Jaemin was wearing pretty casual clothes compared to the high end brand clothing she’d usually seen him wearing around campus. If she didn’t know who he was she’d actually think he passed as an average young adult.

“Here.” She didn’t say much not thinking a full conversation was needed, pulling the bag strap off her shoulder moving it outwards towards Jaemin when he got close enough.

“Again you're a lifesaver.” He replied with a grin, taking the bag and slinging it over his shoulder this time.

“I don’t even want to know.” She gestured towards the building with her hand and back at the bag.

“Good idea. It’s nothing too bad though.” He reassured, yet Y/n wasn’t dumb enough to believe that considering who he was, I mean he was friends with Donghyuck so that was enough for her to know whatever was happening in that building wasn’t meeting every law correctly, she could only hope it was just some club.

“Do my eyes deceive me or is that really you.”

That voice, you always could tell where Donghyuck was. Hearing him before seeing him. Donghyuck wrapping an arm around Jaemin’s shoulder only seconds later flashing Y/n a large smile that could only be described as up to no good, as per usual.

“Don’t get too excited, she was just dropping off my bag.” Jaemin all but shut down any attempt Donghyuck had at causing grief.

“Not even going to stay for a bit?” Donghyuck offered, tilting his head back in the direction of the building.

“I’ll pass.” Y/n denied straight away, not realising just how safe her decision had been.

Donghyuck, ever the one for dramatic expressionism, let out a long sigh nodding regardless to her decision.

“I think you should stay for a while, have a look around.” A new voice entered the conversation. Three heads glancing in his direction.

Jeno standing there with his arms crossed watching the current trio loitering in the carpark. Jeno’s jaw clenched tightly afterwards as if to hold back from saying regrettable words. Jaemin watched him closely, understanding that expression on his face, he’d been close friends with Jeno long enough.

“Again I’ll pass.”

“Not even a little curious?” Jeno asked out, letting his arms drop from their crossed position in favour of walking closer.

“Honestly not in the slightest.” Y/n was quick to respond even if she was curious what the three were doing.

“Five minutes, you might like it in there.” Jeno shot back as soon as she finished speaking, trying to not give her a second to really decide about it and just do it.

For a guy who’d been staring holes into the side of her head on her first day at Neo Tech, he was pretty persistent in wanting her to go into that building and warning bells were ringing in her head.

“She doesn’t want to, Lee, drop it.” Jaemin was quick to shut down whatever was going on, casting a look at him.

Y/n didn’t get why Jaemin called Jeno by that name but she assumed it was just a nickname even if during school the boys only referred to each other with their proper names. Pretty shitty creativity to nickname someone after their last name though.

“Lee!” A voice yelled from the building's now open door, letting out streams of red hued lighting. The figure hard to make out.

Apparently Jeno was being called over as he looked toward s the figure making a hand gesture before turning back.

“Next time you show up here, don’t be prissy, walk in.” Jeno stated bluntly towards Y/n before walking towards the building.

“The fuck did I do wrong?” Y/n muttered watching him leave.

“Well that was both interesting and boring.” Donghyuck clapped his hands giving the two a large grin before patting Jaemin’s shoulder.

“See you tomorrow at school Y/n and if you forget your laptop there’s always a seat next to me, but preferably you can also sit on top of me.” Donghyuck shamelessly spoke, waving as he moved to drag Jaemin backwards towards the building.

“Thanks again!” Jaemin offered her a half assed second thank you as he got dragged towards the building. Y/n only gave him a nod before moving to leave the sketchy area herself, not entering sure what the fuck just happened.

if you don’t know already, more than 8000 palestinians in gaza have been killed by israel just this month. israel is a settler colony, which is a form of colonization that aims to replace the native population of the land they’re colonizing with their settlers. so palestine has been oppressed by israel for decades with the support of nations like the united states and the united kingdom

why im bringing this up is because three targeted boycotts are happening: starbucks (suing its union for posts about supporting palestine), mcdonald’s (donated free meals to israeli army), and disney+ (pledged $2m support for israel). so i please ask that you don’t support starbucks by buying food/drink from them or giving them high ratings ! the starbucks worker union itself is asking us to boycott starbucks and their stocks have been plummeting rn btw
