A Closer Look at the Value Behind Smart Entry: Understanding the Real Cost of Modern Video Door Phones
Tumblr media
In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, home security has become more than just a luxury—it's a necessity. As cities grow denser and homes become smarter, the integration of technology into everyday living is becoming second nature. Among the many innovations reshaping home safety, the modern video door phone stands out as a convenient and efficient way to monitor and control entry access.
The concept of video door phones isn't new, but the recent surge in demand has brought with it advanced features, better designs, and more affordable options. One brand that consistently catches the attention of homeowners and apartment developers ali  ke is One Touch. Known for its sleek designs and intuitive interface, One Touch has become a recognizable name in home security solutions. Yet, when it comes to the one touch video door phone price, many buyers find themselves asking—is it worth the investment?
The Evolution of Home Entry Systems
Traditional doorbells are becoming outdated. Today’s homeowner demands visibility, connectivity, and control—features that older systems simply can’t provide. With smart video door phones, you’re not only alerted to someone at the door, but you can also see them in real time, speak to them, and, in some cases, grant access remotely.
What makes One Touch particularly interesting is how it blends utility with user-friendly functionality. Whether you're installing the system in a standalone villa or within a multi-storey apartment complex, the devices are adaptable and designed for seamless installation.
Features That Justify the Price Tag
Many people initially hesitate at the one touch video door phone price, especially when comparing it to traditional intercom systems. However, a deeper dive into the features reveals why it often offers better long-term value:
High-Definition Video Quality: Unlike older systems with grainy visuals, One Touch door phones often come with HD video capability, allowing crystal-clear views of visitors.
Two-Way Audio Communication: Real-time communication without opening the door offers both safety and convenience.
Touchscreen Interface: The intuitive touchscreen panel makes navigation easy even for users who aren’t tech-savvy.
Night Vision Capability: A must-have in any reliable door phone system, ensuring safety round-the-clock.
Expandable Systems: You can often integrate multiple indoor monitors or pair them with CCTV systems, which makes them ideal for larger properties.
What Influences the Price?
Like any technology-based product, several factors influence the final cost of a One Touch video door phone:
Model & Series: Basic models with limited features are obviously more affordable, while high-end variants with AI-enabled motion detection or smartphone integration come at a premium.
Number of Units: A single indoor unit system is less expensive than a multi-unit setup that caters to larger homes or buildings.
Installation Requirements: If the wiring infrastructure is already in place, the installation cost remains minimal. For new setups, additional wiring, drilling, and setup might add to the total expense.
Additional Features: Wi-Fi capability, remote unlocking systems, and mobile app integrations can push the cost higher, but also offer unmatched flexibility and control.
Comparing Cost with Value
In a price-sensitive market, it’s natural to question the value of home security upgrades. However, when weighing the pros and cons, video door phones—especially reliable ones like those from One Touch—tend to offer better ROI compared to standard systems. You’re not just paying for a gadget, but for peace of mind, convenience, and enhanced safety.
Moreover, the aesthetic appeal of these devices adds to the overall value of your home. A well-integrated video door phone system also contributes positively to property valuation—an attractive point for potential buyers or tenants.
Are There Budget-Friendly Alternatives?
Absolutely. The One Touch brand itself has multiple models catering to different budget segments. Entry-level options can be suitable for small apartments or single-entry homes, while mid- and high-range models are better suited for villas or gated communities. It’s best to evaluate your specific needs before choosing a model—sometimes, a mid-range system offers the best balance between cost and functionality.
Final Thoughts
While the one touch video door phone price may seem like a premium investment at first glance, its real value lies in the safety, convenience, and long-term reliability it offers. With modern design, smart features, and a growing reputation for quality, One Touch systems continue to redefine how we think about home access control.
Investing in such a system isn’t just about responding to trends—it’s about future-proofing your home against everyday security risks. In a world where safety and simplicity go hand-in-hand, the question isn’t whether you can afford a video door phone—but whether you can afford not to have one.

Unveiling the Advantages of Keyless Entry Systems: A Modern Approach to Security and Convenience
Tumblr media
In the ever-evolving landscape of home and business security, keyless entry systems have emerged as a revolutionary solution, transforming the way we protect and access our spaces. This article explores the myriad benefits of keyless entry systems, delving into the realms of security, convenience, and technological advancements that make them an increasingly popular choice for homeowners and businesses alike.
I. Enhanced Security Features:
Advanced Authentication Protocols:
Keyless entry systems employ cutting-edge authentication methods, such as biometrics, smart cards, and PIN codes, providing a multi-layered approach to security. These measures significantly reduce the risk of unauthorized access compared to traditional lock and key systems.
Real-time Monitoring and Alerts:
Many keyless entry systems offer real-time monitoring capabilities, allowing homeowners and businesses to track access logs and receive instant alerts when someone enters or attempts to enter the premises. This heightened visibility enhances security by enabling prompt responses to potential threats.
Customizable Access Levels:
Keyless entry systems enable the customization of access levels for different users. This feature is particularly beneficial for businesses with multiple employees, granting them control over who can access specific areas within a facility.
II. Seamless Convenience:
No More Lost Keys:
One of the most common inconveniences of traditional locks is the possibility of losing keys. Keyless entry systems eliminate this concern, as access is granted through codes, biometrics, or smart cards, reducing the chances of being locked out due to lost or misplaced keys.
Remote Access and Control:
With keyless entry systems, homeowners and business owners can remotely control and monitor access to their properties. This means the ability to grant access to guests, service providers, or employees without physically being present, adding a new level of flexibility and convenience.
Time-Sensitive Access:
Keyless entry systems can be programmed to allow access only during specific times. This feature is particularly useful for businesses that have varying operating hours or for homeowners who want to restrict access during certain periods.
III. Technological Advancements:
Integration with Smart Home Systems:
Keyless entry systems seamlessly integrate with smart home technologies, allowing users to control and monitor their locks through smartphone apps or voice commands. This integration enhances the overall smart home experience and fosters a more interconnected living environment.
Biometric Recognition Technology:
Biometric authentication, such as fingerprint or retina scans, adds an extra layer of security to keyless entry systems. The use of unique biological markers ensures that only authorized individuals can gain access, making it highly resistant to unauthorized entry.
Key Fob Technology:
Some keyless entry systems utilize key fobs, small devices that wirelessly communicate with the locking mechanism. This hands-free approach allows users to unlock doors simply by being in close proximity, offering both security and convenience.
IV. Cost-Efficiency and Long-Term Savings:
Reduced Need for Lock Replacements:
Traditional lock and key systems may require replacement due to wear and tear or lost keys. Keyless entry systems, however, eliminate these concerns, reducing the need for frequent lock replacements and lowering long-term maintenance costs.
Energy Efficiency:
Certain keyless entry systems can be integrated with energy management systems. For example, smart locks can be programmed to adjust lighting and climate control settings based on user activity, contributing to energy efficiency and potential cost savings.
Increased Property Value:
The installation of keyless entry systems can enhance the overall value of a property. Homebuyers and businesses are increasingly recognizing the appeal and functionality of keyless entry, making it a desirable feature in real estate.
The benefits of keyless entry systems extend far beyond traditional lock and key mechanisms, offering an unprecedented level of security, convenience, and technological integration. As we embrace this modern approach to access control, it’s clear that keyless entry systems are not just a trend but a transformative evolution in the realm of home and business security.
As businesses and homeowners increasingly recognize the advantages of keyless entry, the demand for these innovative systems continues to grow. If you’re considering enhancing your property’s security and convenience, keyless entry systems are a compelling choice. Whether for your residence or business, the future of access control is here.

ENTRY #2 ♡ F. READER X GOJO SATORU // I fear to lose you, you struggle to be with me.
contents: arranged marriage!au, brief mention of blood I guess — wc. 1235
series masterlist
Tumblr media
It didn’t take long until you realized that there’s something no one considered when arranging the marriage between you and the honored one. An aspect of life that got heavily overlooked, painfully ignored. When the main objective was to secure the bloodline of your clan and make sure the precious genes of the strongest won’t end with the demise of the man himself, not even one person thought of the consequences you will have to face. Maybe no one expected that to happen, maybe no one was bright enough to realize that the moment your hand was adorned with a golden band, and the vows that echoed in between the walls silenced down, all of Satoru’s enemies will automatically become your enemies.
You were a warrior – strong and fearless. A sorcerer of true blood and bones, you were proud of what you represented while entering the battlefield, proud of your abilities and power. Before you became Gojo, not much was able to surprise you. Before your name was changed, nothing ever threatened you enough to make you feel uneasy. Nothing until now.
It didn’t really surprise you anymore, it wasn’t the first time. It was logical in a way, attacking your husband was bound to be futile – infinity made him invincible, untouchable, and those characteristics you lacked severely. You were an obvious target, a person that’s closest to the real target and in times like this, when facing few curses that you were certain were special grade, you wondered if their approach would be different if they knew how little you meant to your husband. Would they retreat if they knew that attacking a mere assistant like Ijichi would cause more emotions in Satoru Gojo than the death of his own wife?
You fought, making the most out of your abilities to stand against the force whose main objective was to brutalize you as much as possible. You saw it as a chance to learn more, to develop more resistance, to grow stronger. There was a rush of adrenaline coursing through your veins, a thrill of excitement as the battle unraveled with an air of dread and death surrounding the desolate area. The metallic taste of blood was distinctive on your tongue once your body failed to protect you from a series of attacks. You moved despite the sharp pain that slowly but surely was making its way throughout your entire system. For a moment you felt giddy, almost euphoric as the idea of going all in settled in your mind and then you realized that it might end up bad.
Equipped in a blade that’s made fully from your own cursed energy and sharp enough to cut through the hardest of stone, you moved forward, ready to collide with the cursed spirits that caught you in the middle of nowhere. But then you stopped and your eyes closed tightly as the bright, red light blinded you. A strong arm held you around the ribcage and a large frame of a man was pressed to your back.
“Can you please fucking tell me, is running away against your beliefs?” You heard the familiar, sharp tone of your husband, a groan of annoyance and something else that you couldn’t decipher carrying his words. You tilted your head to look at his unamused face. His eyes, now unobscured, weren’t even directed at you, but his jaw was clenched and his hold on you was tight. “I’m sure you’re smart enough to tell that it’s way above your level of jujutsu.”
You couldn’t tell how much of his words was care and how much was pure insult, but either way it put you at ease to know he’s there. There was a sense of safety that you never experienced before, the calm embrace of infinity that wrapped around your frame, the subtle taste of what it’s like to be untouchable. And it lingered, crawled softly across your skin along with the foreign warmth of your husband’s body.
“If you look around you might realize that there’s literally no way to run away,” you replied with just enough of venom to mask how grateful you were for his appearance. The spiteful tone felt natural on your tongue, a default of when you spoke to him and yet, this time you had to remember to use it.
“Yeah, right, so next best thing is to face something that will fucking kill you head on.” He groaned, annoyed, nervous. You felt his fingers digging between your ribs, he kept you closer than he needed to. “Such a wise and well thought through decision.”
“I’m not as weak as you thi–“
“I know,” he cut you off, bothered and harsh. “But you are too weak for this.”
He was right and you knew that. You were far from your best shape, the job you finished just few hours prior ate most of your cursed energy and even with full power you’d most likely struggle against the threat of those curses. But then, you were not given a choice. It was rather fight or die without a fight and the decision was easy.
“Good thing my husband is so strong.”
A sharp tsk left Satoru’s lips and then, the cursed creatures vanished, seemingly aware of how much the power scale tilted to their detriment. Next time you blinked, you were at home and your husband’s touch was gone. The subtle pressure of his fingers against your ribcage now only a ghost of what it was seconds ago.
“It wasn’t the first time now, was it?” He questioned and you struggled to tell if what you heard below the detachment and coldness was care or annoyance.
“It wasn’t. But I’m usually able to deal with it myself.”
Gojo sighed. A long and deep exhale of air left his lungs and he seemed to think, to weigh his next words and actions carefully.
“You should’ve told me. I’ll take care of it,” he said finally, bluntly, matter-of-factly. “You’re not strong enough to face my enemies.”
“I held them long enough for you to come, didn’t I?”
“And what if I didn’t show up?!” He snapped and growled, loud and angry. His fingers wrapped around your jaw, forcefully tilting your head back, to look at him fully. His face was closer, your noses almost touching and the piercing blue of his eyes fixed on you, as the tone of his speech got low and quiet, almost whisper-like. ”What if I didn’t come?”
“Then I’d be dead,” you replied, surprised by how small your own voice sounded. There was no right answer you could’ve given him.
“Yeah, you’d be dead,” he nodded, panted. You watched the spectacle of emotions playing across his handsome features. His brows furrowed and the narrowed eyes seemed to look straight through your very soul. For a second or two, his jaw clenched and lips pressed together forming a line and you were stunned to realize that even his beautiful face creased when angered. And then, his lids dropped, the muscles relaxed. He breathed out, you felt it on your lips and skin, a subtle sweetness and mint of his breath. The tight hold of his fingers loosened up as he looked at you again, allowing his eyes to run down your features, to linger on your lips before they got back to stare back at you. “I don’t want you dead.”

Enhancing Safety and Convenience with Smart Visitor Entry Management for Beaches
Tumblr media
Beaches are vibrant public spaces that attract thousands of visitors every day—especially during peak seasons. With this influx comes the need for a well-organised and secure entry system to ensure safety, crowd control, and efficient visitor experiences. Traditional manual systems are often slow, error-prone, and incapable of handling large crowds seamlessly. That’s where smart Visitor Entry Management Systems (VEMS) come into play.
In this article, we explore how implementing a Visitor Entry Management System for beaches can streamline operations, enhance security, and offer a modern, tech-enabled experience for beachgoers and management authorities alike.
Why Beaches Need Visitor Entry Management Systems
Beaches, especially those in popular tourist areas, face unique challenges when it comes to managing access and crowd control. Unregulated access can lead to:
Overcrowding
Safety concerns
Revenue leakages in paid-entry setups
Difficulty in emergency evacuations
Vandalism and littering
A visitor entry management system, tailored for beaches, helps address these issues by offering automated access control, real-time visitor tracking, ticketing integration, and more—all while improving operational efficiency and visitor satisfaction.
Key Features of Parkomax’s Beach Visitor Entry Management Solution
Parkomax’s solution is designed with scalability and convenience in mind. Here are some standout features that make it ideal for beach environments:
1. Automated Entry and Exit Gates
Integrated with RFID, QR code, or biometric verification, these gates allow for contactless, quick entry and exit, minimising wait times and reducing congestion during peak hours.
2. Digital Ticketing System
Visitors can pre-book entry tickets via a mobile app or website. On-site kiosks and QR-based walk-in ticketing systems are also available, reducing the need for manual intervention and cash transactions.
3. Real-Time Visitor Monitoring
Get live data on the number of people currently at the beach, entry and exit logs, and historical records. This data helps in ensuring that the beach does not exceed its safe carrying capacity and aids in emergency preparedness.
4. Access Control for Specific Zones
Some beach zones may be restricted to VIP guests, families, or maintenance personnel. Parkomax enables zone-based access, ensuring only authorised individuals enter designated areas.
5. Integration with Parking and Amenities
The system can be seamlessly integrated with beach parking management, food court access, and locker usage. One unified platform offers control over multiple touchpoints of a visitor’s journey.
6. Weather and Emergency Alerts
Smart alerts can be broadcast via digital signage or mobile notifications for sudden weather changes, high tides, or emergency evacuations.
Benefits of Implementing Visitor Entry Management at Beaches
✔ Improved Safety and Crowd Control
By knowing exactly how many people are on the premises at any given time, beach authorities can avoid overcrowding, manage social distance if needed, and respond effectively during emergencies.
✔ Enhanced Visitor Experience
No more long queues or manual registrations. The system enables swift entry and exit, digital payments, and smooth navigation throughout the beach facilities.
✔ Revenue Protection and Transparency
For paid-entry beaches, automated ticketing and access control ensure accurate revenue collection and eliminate human errors or fraud.
✔ Data-driven Insights
Historical data can be used to analyse visitor trends, peak hours, and seasonal footfall. This helps in resource planning, staffing, and event scheduling.
✔ Environment-friendly Operations
Minimising the use of paper tickets and manual logs contributes to greener, more sustainable beach management practices.
Use Cases: How Different Beaches Can Benefit
Public Beaches: Efficient handling of large crowds with real-time capacity control and mobile ticketing.
Resort Beaches: Seamless integration with hotel check-ins, allowing exclusive guest access.
Event-based Beach Access: Streamlined entry for concerts, beach sports, or night-time festivals with temporary access zones and pass scanning.
Implementation and Customisation
Parkomax understands that no two beaches are the same. Whether it's a family-friendly beach, a high-tourist traffic zone, or a private beach resort, the system can be customised to suit different needs. Installation includes:
Entry/Exit kiosks or turnstiles
Backend admin dashboard

╰┈➤ ❝ [ Wherever you go, I'm always right there even if you try to hide ] ¡! ❞
"You're just imagining things" Jinwoo says, his nonchalant grey eyes glancing up at you. "You just don't sleep enough."
That's what he always says whenever you rant about the nagging feeling of several eyes watching you.
And you, being the stupid fool that you are— Believed his words.
Jinwoo is a smart and logical person, he's always able to make things just make sense.
So you never really questioned anything whenever he drops his opinion.
But of course, your instincts were never really wrong in the first place.
The itching terror crawling beneath your skin whenever you're alone, the weird chills tickling your spine when you walk in a dark place— It wasn't just your imagination.
The culprit?
He's staring right at right your face with those casual grey orbs.
Jinwoo has placed a bunch of shadows to trail you around, ten maybe 20,... Maybe. Who knows how many he has really placed?
Oh but one thing was for sure, there's at least two of his most powerful line of shadows safeguarding you.
Their duties were two simple orders: Make sure you are safe and sound and eliminate all forms of danger.
Eliminate All Forms Of Danger.
Sure, it could be just some bugs you're terrified of, or making sure you dont come across any dangerous plants along your way.
But their most important task was to murder anyone who tried too hard to come close.
Jinwoo was normally level-headed, he can take seeing you talking to someone else for at least 2 minutes, 5 when he's in a really good mood.
Past ten?
Hah.
'That fucker better start counting his hours' was the only thing ringing inside Jinwoo's head.
He was a jealous man, he'd be quiet but his gaze would grow darker. His ebony locks hovering over his steely gaze, his tongue pushing his inner cheek out as he tries to hold his temper, his foot tapping the floor impatiently as he counts the seconds the bastard went pass ten minutes.
78 seconds.
Jinwoo counted exactly 78 seconds when the conversation finished and your attention would return to him.
Immediately, that hard expression on him would go gentle.
He became quite the actor no thanks to you. jinwoo doesn't want you to have a peek of what he truly is as a person.
Though you were best friends, Jinwoo was a bit handsy with you. Just a bit.
His fingers lightly brushing against your fingers, your cheeks, mostly your ears actually.
Why?
Everyone reacts a certain way when their ear gets tickled.
And he reveled in the shudders and yelps you give him whenever he teases you.
The more you gave him your many expressions, the more and more he drowns in the black hole that is you.
Whatever you do, even the littlest things, his instincts would suddenly go haywire.
Mostly he wants to cherish you, pamper you, baby you like the adorable thing that you are.
Other times? Jinwoo wants to break you apart. Watch you sob, wrists bound, legs incapable of moving— He wanted to imprison you in the land of eternal death. Have you rot in his domain where he wouldn't worry about anyone or anything else breathing the same air as you other than him.
He wanted to love you and break you, and he knew that well. Jinwoo knew of his adoration and destructiveness when it comes to loving you.
You were really like a black hole, sucking him into the void and drowning him in a sea of emotions he never can quite understand.
Perhaps the system had really screwed him up in the head.
The pressure of being a monarch, of protecting this world, of being a vessel of war for several years— He had become twisted and completely paranoid to the point that he just wants control on everything.
And he wanted complete control of you too.
But he stopped himself, several times, he stopped himself.
Jinwoo tried to cut himself off of your life, to delete your memories of him.
But whenever he tried to he could never do it.
Everytime he did, he would just get frustrated and never finish the job.
The more he tries, the deeper he falls into the abyss that is you.
And now here he is,...
Alone in an alleyway, with the beating rain above his head, the water droplets gently dripping off of his black locks. His hand was bloodied as he held the head he had brutally ripped off of the bastard that dared to go pass the ten minute limit. The mangled corpse on the floor had organs spilling out with exactly 78 cuts on it's skin so deep it must have sliced the bone too.
And just like always, you're a witness to this hell.
Scream, cry, throw up— Whatever you do, you would just draw an amused smirk on Jinwoo's handsome features.
His lips would scrunch up on one side, his eyes glowing an ominous color of monarch violet as he lightly tips his head to one side. The stench of blood permeates through the air as the crimson liquid pooled and spread along with the puddles beneath your feet. Everything was now much more terrifying than what it was earlier
You wanted to run, you were afraid of whatever demon that is in front of you.
But Jinwoo wouldn't give you that chance, after all, he is suddenly in front of you— Right at your face.
His eyes were so out of it even though they are focused on yours.
The blood splatters on him was bone-chilling and sickening and yet somehow it made him more handsome.
Jinwoo is always wearing an empty and bored gaze, and yet somehow this psychotic side of him was alluring and dreamy.
Like a fragrant poison you knew would kill but attracted you even still.
"Sssh" Jinwoo purrs sweetly, cradling your face with one hand and then lightly kissing your lips for a short while. "I only did what I needed to do."
" You just listen to me like you always did and forget this ever happened like we've always done"
Forget? Forget how—
Suddenly, your body would go limp and he would catch you. An arm gently wrapped around your waist as he cradles your sleeping form.
Jinwoo would chuckle, pressing another light kiss on your lips,... then your forehead, your temple, your cheek, and once again your lips.
He held the kiss a little while longer.
He loved that expression on your face to be honest, how it scrunch up in terror and disgust. How you would pale oh-so immediately that he can't help but be giddy and want to kiss your pretty little face over and over— Smothering you like the lovely little thing you are.
He has done this so many times.
First, it was some people getting too close.
Second, it was your friends.
Third, these random people who would talk to you for more than ten minutes.
Time and time again, he would bloody his hands for selfish reasons.
Jinwoo wants to be the apple of your eye just as you are to him.
After all, he lovingly placed a legion of shadows in you so that he could watch you the second you are away from his physical body.
"God, I love you so much" He'd whisper, his lips against your hair as he inhales your scent in.
. . . . . . . . .
"Hey," Jinwoo casually greets you the next morning at school, your cute expression in a complete daze from having your memories wiped once again the night prior. "It's a long weekend after today, how about I take you out to dinner?"

So! I know you did inexperienced villain with a hero that's been there for a long time but what if it was the opposite? The hero is new (could possibly be thrown a lot of work without knowledge on how to do them, pretty naive and just wanted to save everyone) and they found the villain but they're nervous and pretty awkward. You're singlehandedly saving the heroxvillain prompt tumblr and I've been reading every single one godbless
-I,A
“Oh.”
“Oh indeed.” The villain cocked their head and observed the hero calmly. They didn’t have their suit on, had barely anything on and yet, the hero was terrified of that seemingly normal person staring at them.
“I…sorry, this must be the wrong address,” the hero muttered. It shouldn’t have been that terrifying — after all, the villain didn’t have any weapons (the hero knew of) on them and altogether, they seemed to be getting ready for bed.
But, hell, the things the villain was able to do were beyond horrifying. The hero had done their research, had educated themselves on everything the data system had to offer. No matter how many times they updated the system, every time they read the same thing.
Weaknesses: Unknown.
It wasn’t necessarily the violence. It was the intimidation and the blackmail. It was their choice of words and how they looked at people. The villain was so incredibly careful with everything they did, it even surprised the hero how they’d come this far.
“No, you have the right address,” the villain said. The hero felt quite stupid where they stood in the living room. The window was still open from their rough entry and they considered just jumping out of it. That would have probably been the first smart decision of theirs today. “You’re that newbie.”
“I—” Their face started to heat up. The villain knew about them? The hero had made one public appearance and that had been a month ago. One. One.
“Wow. You’re impressive, detective.” The villain crossed their arms in front of their chest and smiled. They had dimples. “How many graveyard shifts did you work through to figure this out?”
“I…I’m arresting you.”
“Technically, you can’t arrest me and heroes aren’t supposed to say that.” The villain shook their head and tutted. “You could get into big legal trouble for that.”
The hero’s eyes widened. That sounded plausible but they couldn’t remember if it was true. They couldn’t tell if the villain was lying to them or not.
“Crap,” the hero whispered. They looked down at the ground just for a split second and then, suddenly, the villain pushed them into their armchair and got on top. Somehow, they were pressing a knife against the hero’s ribcage.
“Nononono— wait, please—” the hero begged, putting their hands on the villain’s sturdy shoulders to push them away. It didn’t really change anything, though.
Their heartbeat skyrocketed and they started to panic.
They felt so stupid. Of course they hadn’t called for backup. Of course they hadn’t told anyone about their current location. Of course they were totally gonna die on this chair.
“Mmm,” the villain hummed, satisfied by the hero’s reactions. “How did you find me?”
“Ahh— analysing your routes and mapping and please don’t kill me—” The villain chuckled softly but the hero didn’t feel any more comfortable. They were so close that the hero didn’t even dare to let out a breath.
Their enemy’s eyes were on them, studying them relentlessly. The hero could feel the warmth of their skin under their fingertips, right there where they touched the villain’s bare shoulders.
“Gosh, you’re adorable.” The villain let out an honest laugh and leaned in. They seemed to be very invested in this. “Did you put up any cameras?”
“…no, I reckoned you’d find them—”
“You’re damn right about that. How’d you do it, then?” They moved the knife and finally, the hero allowed themselves to breathe again. The villain let the knife disappear and the hero prayed it wouldn’t show up between their ribs next.
“I asked for the footage from stores or cafés…and I, uh, sometimes I spent a few hours on rooftops.”
“Mmm. Dedicated. I like that. What did you do then?” the villain asked. Their hand was still on the hero’s shoulder and their other one on the armrest of the chair. It was quite impossible to break free, especially with the villain being merciful enough to put away the knife.
The hero didn’t want to risk anything.
Besides, the hero was clearly no match for them.
“I documented everything. And then I took a map of the city and started to draw your routes…I considered the sewer system, too. I got twenty-eight different locations where you come from and disappear to regularly.”
“Why’d you choose this one?”
“There’s a supermarket across the street. I figured you wouldn’t have much time for grocery shopping. So, after a fight or something you could still get some food.”
“Is that so?” The villain’s mouth curled into a smile again. “You’re actually wrong about that but the rest is thoroughly impressive. I guess you’re very lucky. Good job.”
“Oh, I—”
“I hope the agency gives you a promotion,” they said. With their hand, they pushed loose strands of their own hair out of their eyes. “And I’m sorry we have to meet under…these conditions.”
They looked down at their own half-naked body and the hero followed their gaze. Which they regretted quickly. Their entire head must’ve been red.
“Listen, I really don’t want any trouble, well, I mean I am obviously here to catch villains, but technically you’re not…you’re technically not at work right now...right?” The villain grinned again, showing their dimples once anew.
“Are you on patrol, yet?”
“…in two months,” the hero said.
“Two months? C’mon, I can’t wait that long. How can I contact you?”
The hero blinked. Their mouth was dry. “What?”
“I can leave you a note at the library’s front desk.” They leaned in, tickling the hero’s neck with their breath. The hero’s heartbeat spiked. “Does that sound good?”
“Oh— sure?”
“Great!” The villain took the hero’s hand and pulled them out of the chair. They bumped against each other clumsily and the hero felt, once again, incredibly stupid. “Oh, give this to your boss, will you?”
They gave them the knife they had threatened the hero with. They led them towards the door and pushed them gently into the hallway.
“Wait, before I throw you out completely—” their gaze darkened only a little “—don’t put your nose into any villain’s business like that ever again. Especially when you do not have the experience yet. Got it?”
The hero looked at the knife in their hands and then at the villain.
They nodded. The villain winked.
And then the door closed.
At least they didn’t have to climb out of the window.

Genre: Fantasy, Rich man Yunho x Thief Reader, Warnings: Handcuffs, implied mafia?, implied yandere behaviour, unprotected sex(smh), slight praise, name calling (dear) Wordcount: 3353 Not proofread
Yunho drives me mad, he's just so...ugh, there aren't words that are worthy enough to describe him. Also I wrote this at like 2 am.
Summary: A thrill-seeking burglary, driven by a craving for adrenaline, you break into the grand Jeong Estate to steal a priceless necklace. Equipped with skills from past heists you're dressed for stealth, the owner unexpectedly decides to make an appearance and punish you in his own way.
Tumblr media
Out of all the things that you would do, this one was probably the craziest, no this is the craziest idea ever. Sure, you've done stupid things before but this one was going to take the cake, even if you were fully prepared.
Your mother had always told you, this hobby of yours would get you in trouble. For her you were a "normal" kind of adrenaline junkie, bungee jumping, paragliding, rock climbing, something that was in a controlled environment but would still get your heart racing. Your blood pumping. When that didn't satisfy you anymore though, you turned over a different leaf, starting with cliff diving and some urban exploring, graffiti, crimes that's what this hobby of yours turned into. Especially little crimes that involved stealing something, from a store, a jacket, a purse your hands were quite skilled at the task and the feeling you got from it was just too addictive to stop.
And after a stupid night with an even more stupid idea from your friends you were here now, a block down from the biggest estate in the city. The Jeong Estate.
The idea was stuck in your brain like gum on your shoe and you wouldn't leave until that itch inside of you was cleansed. The worst thing was, this was completely solo, from the planning, to going through with this.
It was simple really, sneak around the cameras, hopefully find some open entrance, if not you'd get entry in some way. You learned a few things about security systems from rich homes like these, they all worked the same, so you'd be able to deactivate it, you just didn't know for how long, that's why that was as a last resort.
You honestly looked like a burglar, the dark leather jacket, black jeans with an old black t-shirt and a black cap. In case you were somehow caught, they wouldn't recognize you.
You just had to get in, find something worth taking and then get out. And that undetected.
Interesting enough the whole layout of the mansion was on the internet, you guessed they like to brag about their wealth and how many bathrooms one could possibly need.
There were multiple interviews taken in the house, pictures of the outside, inside, around it, with a little bit of smart thinking you'd be able to sneak past any cameras where they wouldn't be able to detect you.
Because of their huge security set up, they didn't think to have any guards, the place completely empty, anyone that was going to try anything had a death wish. And you wouldn't pass up on the thrill of escaping that mansion with a little souvenir that you'd pull out and brag to your friends about.
You could already imagine the dumb, shocked faces they'd pull when you got back. You stepped out of your car, combat boots hitting the ground, you only got a small bag, as to not make your form any bigger. You decided the back was safer to gain entry, less cameras more blind sports as well, with the huge maze-like garden blocking your silhouette from everything, combined with the darkness of the night, this was going to be a walk in the park. your heart was racing though, not even inside yet. You checked various doors and windows hoping someone left at least one open with a house this big, poor luck.
You guess that meant plan B was officially going to commence. You whipped out your phone connecting with the security system in a matter of minutes with the closeness, there seemed to be a manual lever hidden just close to you, that was the only thing you couldn't find amongst the endless photos taken of this place. You opened a small metal box being faced with a control panel, thankfully each button had some words on them, not making you guess what each does. You clicked one and then another to confirm it, the cameras immediately losing their red recording light, and the alarm presumably being off now.
You grabbed a rock off the expensive looking assortment next to a little pond and smashed it against a glass door. Sliding your hand in and turning the knob, it slid open, and you were officially in. No going back. You gulped the nerves hitting a little harder, but your excitement burnt even more. Turning the lamp on your flashlight, you snuck around a little, figuring out which hallway you were in, looking at a few vases, might take one of those.
But you were actually on the lookout for a particular door, leading to a secret treasure room. The Jeong family apparently liked collecting stuff a lot, paintings, statues, jewelry. You were going to go for a specific necklace, only one in the world and it was here, so close to you. You moved further down, passing high chandeliers and a set of stairs. The doors couldn't be missed, big embroidery and golden accents making it stand out even more than everything that you've seen here yet, however that was possible. You pushed it open, startled of it not being closed. There wasn't anyone inside, thank God.
You looked around the room, in awe. It was filled to the brim, to each treasure a sign explaining it was from or what it symbolized. As you watched each one with interest your eyes landed on the glass in the middle of the room, encased in it was the necklace you were here for. What you would be taking home. You walked up to it, your boots squeaking a little on the oak wooden floor.
You pressed your gloved fingers onto the glass, admiring the piece inside. You would obviously have to break it and then sneak out again. You brought some equipment just for this, obviously they didn't have normal glass around these national treasures. You got a laser cutter for a pretty dime, and you'd leave with something worth every coin spent on this device. You put your bag down, going through it, setting up the little machine, turning on the flame and testing it a few times. You were just about to cut it when you heard some noise.
Which wasn't you for sure. You immediately panicked a little and turned the thingy off reaching for your bag and pulling it behind the counter of the necklace, hiding behind it. There wasn't any reason that someone would just come in here. Or was there?
You were mentally going through every scenario that was about to happen. Your palms sweating, heart bursting out of your chest. You had to calm down a little or you'd make stupid decisions right this second. The racing of your little heart was promptly stopped by the door creaking open, the clanking of shoes evident in the spacious room. Definitely dress shoes, definitely someone that lived here. It was okay. They didn't know you were here. They were probably just having some weird midnight museum tour here. This was probably just some rich person behavior, going to your own treasure haven at the dead of night, yeah, must be it.
The steps grew closer and thus louder. You prayed they wouldn't walk around the counter and see you, briefly you regretted ever coming here but you did get what you wanted, a thrill.
You held your breath when the sounds of those shoes stopped. Listening intently for what was about to happen and staying alert. Just when you were trying to get ahold of your breathing again, there was some fast movement, a click, a shove, and you were on the ground. Looking up, you saw your one hand cuffed to a bar embedded into the counter. And some very shiny looking shoes, that were now directly in front of you. You moved your gaze slowly up, black slacks, further there was a simple shirt and a black tie. Who the hell wears those in their own home? And finally, a rather young-looking dude, you'd have expected a man in his fifties by the clothing choice. The black-haired man didn't looked like he was in his mid-twenties, slightly older than you.
Your bows furrowed at that. His deep voice was the next thing that shocked you as he leaned down, setting himself on his haunches.
"Now what do we have here? A little mouse lingering in my house." There was no way that this was the Jeong Yunho, he was just way too… young, for a successful multi-millionaire. You didn't realize that you haven't responded.
"I was wondering what crawled in when I heard some noises, you ought to be more careful than that." He smiled mockingly.
You were trying to keep your gaze away from him, not wanting him to catch even a single glance of your features, he might just let you go. Who are you even kidding? Fat chance, you were lucky if you made it out of here alive now, genuine fear setting in.
He kept trying to move his face to yours, obviously wanting to look at the intruder that snuck in, but you just turned in the other direction. Having enough of your attitude he gripped your jaw in his hand, your free one trying to pry him off of you. He turned you to him and knocked the hat off your head.
You stared into his eyes, not wanting to get intimidated no matter how much money this guy had. You wouldn’t be intimidated by a pretty, rich boy that was born with a silver spoon.
"Happy now?" You questioned. His hand left your face.
"Oh, so she does talk, and she's got some fire." That grin just wouldn't leave his face, it was so goddamn punchable even if it was a shame to ruin.
Maybe violence was next on your hobby list of crimes. If looks could kill, he would be buried six feet under, your glare was burning a hole through his face.
"So, to what do I owe the pleasure of you visiting my home?" Any words that came out of his mouth made you want to shut him up. If it was with a fist or a kiss you honestly didn't care.
"Why don't you take a guess?" You wouldn't answer anything with a guy like this squeezing you into a little corner. Which was risky to say the least.
"Well… judging by the get up and the fact that I found you here, means you were planning on stealing something." No shit sherlock, for what other reason do people break in.
You gave him a deadpan look.
"Oh, come on, this is the most interesting thing that has happened here in a while, usually, people get caught by the alarm or cameras before even making it inside."
"Makes me wonder how you made it this far." He looked you over, studying you, analyzing.
This was probably the best time to convince him of letting you go, somehow. "Look, I'm sorry okay, this was stupid, I'll pay for the broken glass and just leave."
"See now, that just won't work. I can't just "let you go", that'll just make me look bad if it comes out that I just let little thieves like you come and go."
"I have to set an example." What the fuck does he mean by that?
You hadn't even thought about what kind of people lived here, for all you could know this was some secret mafia family that built their empire on corpses. Sure, sounded like it.
"I promise I won't talk; I won't do this again."
"You really expect me to believe that?" He raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow.
"Trust me, I'll make sure you won't." Now that sounded like something a killer would say, you were fucked, so fucked.
"Please, look, I have family, friends, please just let me go." You looked at him a little pleading, fuck your pride and not getting intimidated. This was beyond anything.
You shook the cuff slightly, trying to slip your hand through it in any way. "Look I'll pay or whatever, j-just don't kill me." He seemed in thought about something, his tongue poking the inside of his cheek and then he stood up, your eyes following his long, slim figure.
"No." He curtly replied.
Okay fuck him and fuck reasoning with this asshole.
"I'm gonna cave your face in when I get out of these handcuffs, I swear." You glared. His smile grew again, this fucker was getting some sick satisfaction of seeing you seething in anger.
"Ouuu there's that fire that I was beginning to miss, you were begging so nicely a second ago." He twirled a stand of your hair. He grabbed at the cuffs unlicking it from the bar, getting your hopes up of being free when he clasped the now free shackle to your other hand. Your hands now cuffed in front of your body, he pulled at the chain holding them together.
He stood up, dragging you with him. "Girls like you only learn the hard way, don't they? Lucky for you, I know just how to handle your type." Anything he said sounded so suggestive, you don't know if the fear was activating some hidden side in you, or if his attractiveness eliminated any red flags in the situation. He tugged you along, crossing room for room way too fast for you to keep track of where you were and therefore not making you figure out where he was taking you, until he hauled you into a dimly lit room. A bedroom, okay woah, this was turning into one of your fantasies real fast.
"I'm feeling generous today, it's not every day where a pretty thing just turns up at my doorstep, so I'll even remove these." The restraints from your wrist fell to the floor, your hands massaging your wrists. "I'll let you off the hook" But? There had to be some twist. "You'll spend the night here, after all you wanted to be here." Yeah, to steal something, not to fuck a loaded dude.
You did consider it, he wasn't bad looking. But that fucking attitude was just so aggravating. "And what makes you think that I would just agree to that?" Your arms crossed in silent protest.
"Maybe the fact that you wouldn't land yourself in jail."
"You kind of interrupted my work so It's only fair that I get a little bit of a compensation for being so nice."
Oh, hell to the no, not this guy, nu uh. He looks like someone that would brag about this for centuries to come. You whipped around ready to leave; "I'll just turn myself in."
"Come on, didn't you notice the tension between us, are you that oblivious?"
Of course, you had noticed, from the first second you realized his hands were way bigger and that he was towering over you, had you thinking dirty. Like if he had just bent you over the glass in the other room. Or the hallway wall, or this bed. God there must be something wrong with you. Some adrenaline induced arousal that activated since you were caught.
You didn't notice yourself stopping nor did you notice Yunho moving up behind you until his warm breath hit your ear.
"Right, you did notice. I'll even gift you a little something to take with you, or you can leave with nothing right now."
He brushed the hair from your neck, kissing it slightly. You could just leave now, but his offer was too tempting. You whipped around, grabbing him by the tie and pulling him in for a kiss, before you could second guess your decision making.
He pushed you against a nearby wall, caging you in. He was so fucking big it felt suffocating in an intoxicating way. Like all your senses were filled with Yunho only.
The movements were rushed buttons falling off, his tie almost getting ripped apart. Your shirt and jacket being discarded in a matter of seconds. You called his name in between kisses, desperate to get him to move faster.
Only one of your legs was out of your jeans when he stuffed you with his fingers, you were hoping that your legs kept their strength, and your knees wouldn't buckle. It was getting increasingly difficult, the more fingers he added, the harder he thrusted, the deeper that he hit. You tried your best to hold onto his shoulders. You took notice of the large bulge pressing against his slacks and slipped your hand in. You stroked him making him bite his lip a bit, his brows furrowing in pleasure. Groans were the only things you could hear besides the wet squelch of your pussy. When your knees were going to give out, he pulled his hand from you, reaching over, grabbing a familiar object, clicking it onto you again but lifting your arms making you wrap your cuffed hands around his neck, your hands holding onto him. He lifted one of your legs getting closer to your body while his other hand moved down and pulled his length out of his pants.
A pretty thing from top to bottom, with just the perfect curve. Fittingly big for his stature. Your favorite part was when he started rubbing it against you, getting it wet, a vein that ran along his cock brushed your clit at the perfect angle. It made you cry out just a little louder for him.
"I might just keep you in my treasure room dear, you just make such cute noises."
You couldn’t tell if he was joking or not, not that you cared at this moment. When he slipped himself inside that's when you almost came on the spot, your insides were clenching so much around his length. Wrapping around him, it was so so warm. And when he started moving it was even better, the drag of your ridged walls pulling him back in when he pulled out.
"Yunho, Yunho, god ah."
His thrusts reached deeper than your fingers every could, than any man before him could. Yunho kept thrusting while alternating between playing with your boobs and circling your clit with his thumb.
"You're gonna kill me, you know that? o-my fucking god." He groaned after each thrust. Your stomach became so warm and tingly, it was only a matter of seconds before you'd cum all over his cock. It was after a particular calculated thrust up into your g-spot that had you seeing stars, tightening your arms around Yunhos neck and letting out a pornographic moan. The squeezing of your pussy had him coming just a moment after, not giving him the chance to pull out, not that he wanted to.
He spilt himself into you, driving aftershocks from your orgasm out of you. His thrust slowing down, to ride out his own, until his hips stopped.
He pulled back, your hole opening and closing a little and making cum dribble out of you.
"Can't have you waste that." He pushed some of it back in with his fingers. You moaned in hypersensitivity. Your legs completely gave out after that and he picked you up, carrying you over to the bed that would have been the more ideal place.
He untangled himself from you, you grumbled at the loss of contact. You just heard the click of the cuffs, your eyes closed in contentment, too tired.
He continued staying at your side, bringing you a glass of water, and pulling the blanket over you, making you fall asleep faster than you'd ever think was possible. Considering you were still in a stranger’s house, said stranger was inside your guts just a moment ago, so couldn't really call him that.
This definitely wasn't part of your masterplan, but you wouldn't change a thing.
When you woke up in the morning, Yunho peacefully sleeping next to you, you quietly dressed yourself and excited the mansion. Not forgetting to take a price, in the form of his ring and a note that read: "If you want your souvenir back, call me."

Hmm... what is the spiciest, most inflammatory thing to add to the current discourse about how to know if someone is faking???
Ooh! I got it!
You're not smart enough to tell!
That's right! You, random fakeclaimer who thinks you know everything because you know have DID or know someone with it, do not have the education or intelligence necessary to even BEGIN to be able to tell if someone "actually" has the disorder.
I'm going to hazard a guess that not even 5% of you armchair psychiatrists who think you're qualified to just "tell" if a system is faking have ever read the DSM entry on DID and the ICD-11 entries on DID and Partial DID.
And to be clear, that's not the standard you're supposed to aim for to be educated.
That's just the ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM!
If you've read these three things, then congrats! You've now achieved the absolute most basic understanding of these disorder possible.
Are you an expert? No.
Do you have enough knowledge of the disorders to be able to hold down a semi-coherent conversation with someone who actually knows what they're talking about? Also no!
But it's at least a start!
Now you can go from there and read Kluft's Clinical Presentations of Multiple Personality Disorder, which covers a WIDE RANGE of ways the disorder presents. Because yes, there are MANY presentations of DID!
Now that you've read that, do you feel like you have a good enough understanding of the breadth of the disorder to be able to tell if people are faking or not?
Well you don't! Because that paper is over 30 years old! More research has been conducted since and our understanding of DID has evolved even more!
Did you know that some studies have shown hallucinations are more common in DID than schizophrenia? And I mean this across the board. Auditory, visual, tactile, olfactory!
If you haven't come across this, you probably haven't done enough research into DID yet.
This is a topic specialists have dedicated their lives to and are still debating.
What makes you so arrogant as to assume you can tell who is or isn't faking with your degree from "looking at the first page of a Google search" university?

From Sector: 38
Entry: Ⅰ
Apparently, there was a time when people believed there was an edge to the world - that if you sailed far enough, you'd just fall off the side of the world. I used to find it so funny, I just couldn't understand or comprehend how this world had a definitive end to them
now, I understand.
Sitting at the edge of the sector, the cool metal of the man-made ground pressed against my bare thighs and the cold waters engulfing my feet staring out into the watery abyss.
Technically I wasn’t meant to be there, unless you have a valid pass you're not allowed outside the city walls and considering mine was four days out of date I very much did not want to be caught.
My friends spent their days working, rebuilding our society in miniature while i spent my days sitting at the brink of the universe staring out at the unchanging.
But even if i did work, what would i do? Who would i be? Who could i become?
A reconstructionist? A teacher? A cleaner? A cook?
So Instead I continued to sneak past the guards who can't be much older than me lined up like pawn pieces with faces harder than the boots they wear and sit, stare, soaking up the very thing that left us floating in silent devastation.
I should have brought my watch or my phone it was just that after last time (with me nearly dropping it and all) I thought best not, but now looking at the inky night sky I'm wondering whether that in itself was a mistake. No one is allowed out past curfew (10 pm summer, 8 pm winter) it's too dangerous, too unpredictable.
It's funny, they won't tell us what to be afraid of, and they'll tell us we have nothing to fear then usher us into cages, protection from an invisible entity - an immeasurable enemy.
Still, even I can feel it the shift in the air - the cooling breeze stilted like something holding it back or someone. If I was smarter, I would have left, grimaced at my wet feet in my clean new white socks and black shoes, and slipped in through the city walls -
Except, i was never known for being particularly smart.
Which is why when I saw flashes of colour in the sea instead of running I stayed transfixed - purple and white hues swaying in and out of focus though always remaining in a tight formation, a loose cluster.
They were coming closer to the surface, whatever they were, its colours becoming more pigmented in its hues, its actions becoming more assured and targeted: it was coming for me.
I was frozen, completely and utterly frozen - I couldn't scream or speak, I couldn't even breathe. The only assurance that I hadn't turned to stone was the sounding of my beating heart - and even then, I couldn't place the organ. I felt its ricochets in my throat and stomach but heard it like a gunshot stretched out through time.
A cold encircled my ankles, a loose grip coiling around me, barely touching me. The tenderals, if I can call them that climbed up my body till they poked through the surface of the water and wrapped themselves against my lower thighs.
Now i could see it: long tentacles sprouting from a cluster deeper in the waters - the purple skin translucent inside faint veins iridescent colours shimmering like solar systems from a far of place. The ends were elliptical, curved like she shell of an egg as if blown from molten glass.
My hands once frozen by my side reached out gently to touch the head of the tentacle closest to me - gently i lifted my shaking fingers stopping them in front of the strange creature. With careless inhibition it slithered along my fingertips till it rested in my palm, feeling its weight in my hand and the soft integument.
For a while, the world was just this - just me staring at this creature that seemed to hold each star dead and dying under its skin but then i felt it - the tentacles slight grip on my upper thigh, not as though it was trying to pull my into the waters but instead as though it was searching for something.
The tentacles began to pulse, gently and softly like the humm of birds on a summer night - gentle but unequivocally present before a voice clear yet distorted rung through my mind:
Do not be afraid
then they slipped under my short black skirt.
As if a trance had broken i gasped, dropped my hands in haste and so the head of the tentacle which once occupied a place in my palm opting to try and push my body up and away from the waters and its presence.
But it was too late.
I'd been too distracted, so stupid and curious i didn't notice just how many tentacles had wrapped themselves around me lower body - sensing my resistance they only seemed to hold on tighter tendredals slipping further and further up my inner thighs till they rested over my pastel pink panties.
The tentacle which lay in my hand curled around my wrists like an armlet - as though i was a forgotten pharaoh.
The head of the tenderal under my skirt began to pulse against my underwear, pushing slightly against it dampening the material.
Its words like a ping pong ball bounced around my head, the once empty space echoing its words over and over as its intrusion continued.
They didn't tell us much about the monsters that came with the flood but they did tell us some things of of which being all of them have at least a three percent intelligence increase between them and us. It never meant much to me didn't mean anything that these monsters had minds far superior to beings - i was more confused with how they came about this knowledge.
With which lucky team of xenozoologists gathered them up and spoke to them, communicated them.
I wonder what they would say now, how they would stare down at me in their long white lab coats and tightly pulled back hair as this elderitch creature hummed against my skin.
Do not let your mind wander
The tentacles gripped me wrists tighter, sometime ago they had captured my either wrist as well truly any thoughts of escape which may have entered my mind were banished. The other tentacle began to nudge more incessantly at my underwear - in this moment i couldn't understand how this creature was supposed to be more intelligent than me, no five percent more intelligent than our most intelligent human? And yet it couldn't figure out how to take off my panties? It wasn't like the material was so expensive that they couldn't easily break, with one strong tug they would fall into the waters, floating over the face of the deep blue before perhaps sinking or maybe just continuing to float.
It was then that a feeling overcame me - i hate to say it but it was like the rush of a wave, like the sudden feel of cold water on hot skin and salty water hitting the back of your tongue. It was like a perfect cocktail of euphoria, clarity and anticipation. I understood then all that i could have known.
It wasn't that the monster didn't know how to take of my panties, it wanted me to need it to.
I bit my lip, drawing blood in haste covering a moan that threatened to slip from my lips at the thought - the tang of iron coating my tongue and cheeks, probably dying my teeth.
Silently in my own mind i whispered "please" and that was all it took before it was ripping my underwear of my body and spreading my legs slightly a part with the force and care of a determined lover.
Smaller, colder tentacles the width of my fingers emerged from the waters and gently stroked my entrance - the suddenness and the low temperature had me writhing but the thicker tentacles stopped me from shifting too far from its touch.
Like tongues they flicked slowly against my now pulsing clitoris, heat resting heavy at the bottom of my stomach like a sunken stone. My head threw back in bliss and as my mouth parted to let out a moan a tentacle head filled my mouth - the head was slightly longer than those which had made themselves a home around my wrists and much thicker than those which currently were lapping at my swollen clit.
My mind was in a haze, nipples hardening against my shirt as my eyes oscilated between staring at the sentient monster or the stary firmament above.
I could feel my body becoming hotter, desperate for more contact as i began to push myself closer towards the small tendrils in spite of the tight grip they had on me.
As if sensing my eagerness the beast emerged more tentacles now wrapping around my large breasts, squeezing on them and instantly wetting my shirt. If not for the appendage humming pleasantly in my mouth i have no doubts i would be moaning loud enough to alert the guards.
As if attempting to milk me the tentacles grew more ferocious with their onslaught on my chest, pulling and squeezing till the white buttons popped off my shirt and into the night waters. Rushing forward smaller tentacles once again arose now pressing against my nipples the cold sensation doing nothing for my sweltering internal body temperature.
please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please
My mind repeated over and over and over, each plea cluttering my mind till my brain was nothing but a palimpet of want and desire. Thankfully the creature from below was one of compassion.
In front of me the tentacle which once nudged against my nipples opened like a blossoming flower with five petal like shapes and in the centre a white glow, whiter than the sclera of an eye or the color of a cloud no this was a white that almost blinded me almost as white as the sun itself or atleast surrounded by the dark night mind and eyes clouded by lust it was.
They forged forward attaching themselves on my nipples sucking on them like the wet, endless cavity they were before the ones which once flicked against my clit did the same.
The waves on the water began to stir pushing and pulling the fabric of itself apart, before one final tentacle emerged. The appendage sporuted from the water till the tip reached far above my head, floating in front of me the out of water length must have been half my height. Aside from its length it was thicker than all the others by far, the thickness of it being comparable to my (still bound) wrists.
Slowly it bent down before sliding along the metal grounds of the sector nudging against my thighs as it slithered from side to side though still pluging forward like a snake, it was then that i understood its plan
It meant to be inside of me.
It stopped just outside my entrance, gently prodding and nudging again my tight opening, against the tentacle in my mouth i let out a tiny whimper eager and wanting.
Galvanised by my voice coated and dripping in hot want and sticky desire the tentacles holding my thighs and arms lifted me up into the air so i was floating above the metal and the water.
Then i felt it press against me, forcing its way in, as the movements of the tendredals on my breasts and clitoris began sucking more volatile with the tentacles around my breasts squeezing still at even pace, unceasing and unwavering.
Finally it pushed itself in me pressing tightly against my walls but still everceasing in its pursuit - from this angle i could see it losing itself in me and the bulge of my stomach as it pressed inside me.
It was all too much, too much pressure inside of me and outside of me and not to mention the sounds:
The wet squelching, the constant hum of its skin, the disrupted water thrashing against the creature, and my own dampened moans.
As if sensing i was near the creature quickly removed it's appendage from my once filled hole before plunging in without even a beat of rest - my eyes widened and rolled to the back of my head as it repeated the process till i could feel the pressure building inside the appendage of the creature.
Then the the tentacles in my mouth began to mirror it, moving in and out my mouth though slightly more slowly still which each thrust going deeper till i felt it rest on the back of my mouth and then dip into my throat.
The tears which welled in my eyes spilled out over my face and ran down my blushed cheeks before falling silently joining the larger body of water.
I'd been trying so hard, to do or be what I don't know: to be good, to be quiet, to pay attention but in the end, all it took was two words, not even spoken just two telepathically echoed words:
Let go.
And my body was gently convulsing like electricity was being struck through every vein the heat that pooled in my stomach spread snd rushed throughout me - but the creature didn't stop, didn't show any signs of ceasing fucking into me past the point or orgasm and then past the point of overstimulation till it began to plunge more erratically with more fever and less elderitch strategy.
Then i felt the sensation of being filled, as it fucked into me a thick white but translucent substance was pushed into me filling my already swollen belly and then the same substance was filling my mouth.
Its taste was like the smell of rained earth and sugar cubes and fresh whole milk and lavender i swallowed it lapping it up. I felt it begin to retreat but the taste was addictive i began to suck on the appendage feeling it twitch relentlessly in my mouth though ultimately keeping its place inside me as i sucked and swallowed.
The tentacles and tendrils which once held their place on my breast and clitoris slowly pulled away back into the sea as the once which held my thighs and wrists lowered my gently onto the groud with my back against the metal.
I gave one last suck to the tentacle before allowing it to leave my warm, wet mouth and giving it a final lick.
I barely watched it sink back into the ocean, mind and body to fucked out to even think of moving instead content to stare up the flickering stars feeling the warm goo seep out of me as the slight bulge of my stomach deflated.
The last thing I heard before I submitted to the gentle daze of my inner world, and it submerged itself back into its underworld:
See you soon

Homebrew Mechanic: Fixing D&D’s Gameplay Loop with Item Degradation
Normally I have snappy titles for these, but in this case I wanted to be super upfront with what I was getting you all into.
Some people are not going to like the idea of introducing item degradation into the game, and they’re ABSOLUTELY right to be hesitant. Just about every attempt I’ve seen (includig both RAW versions from previous editions, examples from videogames, and those I’ve put together myself in the past) have been horribly clunky exercises in beancounting that only ever existed to needlessly slow down gameplay for the sake of joyless realism.
I’ve come at it from another angle however, but to explain we’re going to need to get into some game design talk.
The basic gameplay loop of D&D is supposed to be:
Seeking adventure leads you to face challenges
Overcoming challenges leads you to rewards
Rewards Help you get stronger
Getting stronger allows you to seek tougher adventures
After a while this system starts to break down specifically with regards to gold as a method of reward. Even if you’re the smart sort of DM who flouts the rules and gives their party access to a magic item shop, there’s an increasingly limited number of things to spend gold on, leading to parties acquiring sizable hordes of riches early on in their adventuring career, completely eliminating the desire to accept quests that pay out in gold in one form or another. This is a pretty significant flaw because adventures that centre around acquisition of riches ( treasure hunts, bounty missions, busywork for rich patrons that will inevitably betray you) are foundational to storytelling within the game, especially early on in a campaign before the party has gotten emotionally invested.  Most advice you can find online attempting  to solve this problem tends to dissolve down to “let them pour money into a home base”,  but that can only really happen once per campaign as a party is unlikely to want more than one secret clubhouse.
TLDR:  What I propose is the implantation of a lightweight system that forces the party to periodically drop small amounts of wealth into maintaining their weapons/armour/foci. The players will be motivated to seek out gold in order to keep using their best stuff,  giving value to treasure drops that previously lacked it.  Not only does this system act as an insulation against powercreep at higher levels, it also encourages a party to engage with the world as they seek out workshops and crafters capable of repairing their gear.
The System:
Weapons, armour, shields, and caster foci (staves, holy symbols etc) can accumulate “ticks” of damage, represented by a dot or X drawn next to their item entry on the character sheet. Because you get better at handling your gear as you level up, an item that exceeds a total number of ticks equal to its bearer’s proficiency bonus breaks, and is considered unusable until it is repaired.
Weapons and Foci gain a tick of damage when you roll a natural 1 on an attack made with them, or if they are specifically targeted by an enemy’s attack.
Armour and shields gain a tick of damage when you roll a nat 1 on a saving throw or when an enemy beats your ac by 5 or more. A character equipped with both can decide which of the two items receives the tick
Creatures with the “siege” (or any “does double damage to objects” ability) deal an extra tick when attacking gear.
A character with a crafting proficiency  and access to tools can repair a number of ticks of damage equal to their proficiency on a four hour work period. This rate is doubled if they have access to a properly equipped workshop.  A character with access to the mending cantrip can repair ticks on any kind of item, but is limited to their proficiency bonus per work period.
Having an item repaired by an NPC crafter removes all ticks, but costs vary depending on the rarity of the item:    5g for a mundane item, 10g for a common item, 50g for uncommon, 250 for a rare, 1250 for a very rare, 6250 for a legendary.  The DM decides the limit on what each crafter can repair, as it’s likely small towns have access to artisans of only common or uncommon skill, requiring the party to venture to new lands or even across planes if they wish to repair end game gear.
As you can see, degradation in this system is easy to keep track of and quite gradual, leading players into a position where they can ignore obvious damage to their kit for the sake of saving their now precious gold.  It likewise encourages them to seek out NPC crafters (and potential questhooks) for skills they do not possess, and encourages the use of secondary weapons either as backups or to save the more potent items in the arsenal for a real challenge.
Consumables
Everyone knows the old joke about players hoarding consumables from the first adventure past the final bossfight, it transcends genre and platform, and speaks to a nature of loss aversion within our shared humanity.  However, giving players items they’re never going to use amounts to wasted time, resources, and potential when looking at things from a game design perspective, so lets work on fixing that.
My inspiration came from witcher 3, which encourages players to make frequent use of consumables by refreshing them whenever the character had downtime. The darksouls series has a similar feature with the signature estus flask, which provides a limited number of heals before it must be refreshed at one of the game’s checkpoints.  When the designers removed the risk of permanent loss and the anxiety it creatures, players were able to think tactically about the use of their consumables confident in the knowledge that any mistakes were just a resupply away from being fixed.
My proposal is that while the party is in town they can refill the majority of their consumable items for a small per item fee. Just like with gear degradation, this encourages them to seek out crafters and do quests for the hope of discounts, while at the same time encouraging them to explore new realms in the hope of discovering higher level artisans.
The price for refills is set at: 5g for common, 25g for an uncommon, 125g for a rare, 625g for a very rare, 3125g for  legendary.  I encourage my own players to keep a  “shopping list” in their inventory with prices tabulated so they can hand out a lump sum of gold and have their kit entirely refreshed.
Characters with a relevant skill and access to their tools can refill a number of items equal to their proficiency bonus during a four hour work period. With access to a proper workshop, this rate doubles.   ( At last, proficiency with brewers supplies, carpenters tools etc become useful)
I encourage you as a DM to check out this potion flasks system, which I’ve found adds a delicious factor of uncertainty back into the mix.  Attached is also my super lightweight rules for tracking gear and supplies, which I absolutely refuse to shut up about.

Where was everyone?
Your communication system had been jammed but some unknown source. Desperately, you filtered through every channel requesting back up at your location, but no one answered. You didn’t know how long you’d been out here; time had seemed to stop. The sensation of rain hitting your skin was the only thing saving you from going insane.
A groan from you comrade pulled you out of your frustration. In the chaos, three of your squad had been badly wounded. One by one, you’d dragged them into a back alley out of harm’s way. The alley’s openings were obscured by smoke. There was no way to tell if it was safe to leave; not that you squad was in any fit state to move.
Out of some cardboard and bin bags, you’d created a makeshift shelter for them, an attempt to keep them out of the rain. You were no medic, as smart as you were, without guidance you could only give them the most basic treatment.
Kneeling before one of your squad, you whipped some of the blood off his face. He winced at the contact, flinching away from you. Giving him an upside-down smile, you mouthed an apology.
Looking to the other members of your squad, you sighed. They’re in a bad way, if I don’t get them medical attention soon, I don’t think they’ll make it.
The calmness of the rain was interrupted by a clatter out in the street. Without hesitation, you entered a fighting stance, scanning the entry to the alley for any signs of movement.
Putting one foot in front of the other, you stained your eyes to see what had made the noise. Avoiding any debris on the ground, you continued your advance. Protecting your squad was your only priority.
The clatter came again, only this time it was clearer, like the sound of broken glass being kicked. You steadied your breathing, keeping as quiet as possible, stopping at the edge of the opening to see if the origin of the sound would reveal itself. Tightening your grip on your gun, you narrowed your eyes, ready to fire at the first thing that moved. Alas, the sound didn’t come again, nor did any movement.
Unsure if you should let down your guard, you looked back at your squad. None of them were conscious anymore. Your heart ached at the sight. You knew if they didn’t get help soon, they would surely die. No matter what was out there, you had to face it, for their sake. It what you were trained to do, right? Save people? This was just another one of those times.
Braving the smoke and fog, you pushed forward. You could barely see more than 10 yards in front of you, it felt like you were walking the wire; one wrong move and you would be dead. You knew these streets, you’d grown up not too far from here, but they were unrecognisable with all the death and debris.
Curled Yoju carcases lined the street, their cores ripped from their bodies. Beside them, buildings lay crumbled, a reminder of their path of destruction. Smoke continued to rise from pipes and fires, the stench of burning stung at your nose. You pressed on, scanning anything you could for movement, mentally noting the way back to the alley in your head.
The further you got the thinner the fog became; it was easier to see your surroundings. There was less destruction here, you assumed that meant another squad may be around. You hurried up your steps, still on guard, but impatient to get help to your friends. While sweeping over the lessoning debris, your earpiece began to crack.
“Hello?!” you stopped in your tracks, pressing hard on your ear hoping to find a signal “can anyone hear me?”
Racing forward, the cracks became clearer. Stay…extrac…0600…yoju still…don’t move.
You heart pounded in your chest, did that say yoju were still present? Raising your gun again you scanned your surrounds, your mind fearing the worse.
The streets seemed too clean and the wind too quiet for your liking. The feeling of eyes on you creeped up your neck making you hairs stand on end. You circled around yourself, scanning windows, fences, walls, doors for anything out of the ordinary.
The only cover you could see was an overturned car about 30 yards to your left. Taking a breath and bracing yourself, you dashed over to it, sliding along the floor just in time to dodge a projectile from a nearby building.
A screech erupted through the air, and the sound of skittering feet made your skin crawl. You’d been fighting centipede type Yoju, and five of them were clambering their way to you. One crawled along the side of the building, screeching and snapping is large grotesque pincers.
The thing about these yoju is, they’re practically blind. They rely on their other senses to detect their prey. When you had called for help, you gave away your location, and now the fire of your bullets only put you in more danger.
You’d suffered injuries too in the earlier battle, so your combat power wasn’t as good as it needed to be to survive, you could barely pierce their exoskeleton. In that moment, you decided the best thing you could do was run, all the while trying to find a signal to get medic to your squad. You’d made peace with death long ago, you had no issue dying for others.
As you ran, one of the yoju threw itself on the car, crying out at the absence of food. The stomp of your boots alerted the others of your location and they switched their direction. Shooting what you could at them, you aimed for their legs, hoping to slow them down.
“Is anyone there?!” you screamed, gripping hopelessly onto your earpiece. You boots pounded at the floor, turning corner after corner, your lungs burning for air. “This is Y/N of the fourth division, does anyone copy?!”
A few cracks from your ear made your eyes widen. “This is…shina…what…our position?”
Hope. You recalled the co-ordinates of your squad members and screamed them as loud as you could, over and over again, all the while dodging limbs and pincers.
All you could do was hope they’d got their location. You neared another alley way, if you were quick enough, perhaps you could lose them. Before you could duck into it, a figure emerged from the darkness, a familiar head of white hair dashed past you. Within a few quick blasts, the yoju were no more.
Turning to look at your friend, your shoulders dropped with relief. “Reno,” you breathed, throwing your arms around him, unbelievable happy to see a familiar face. He held you close for a while, happy to be reunited with you.
Your lungs burned with every breath, as though the air were made of fire. He let you go but kept a hand on your shoulder as you bent over trying to ease the pain. “Are you okay? Did they hurt you at all?” He asked, scanning your body for signs of blood. You shook your head, trying to coherently tell him about your squad.
“I heard you on the radio,” Reno started, you looked up at him, still gasping for air, using his arm for support, “I also heard those guys,” he pointed over to the eviscerated yoju. “Y/N, what were you doing? We evacuated that area nearly an hour ago, it too dangerous. We’re waiting on reinforcements. Everyone’s been put on standby.” He knitted his brows in confusion, trying to read your clouded eyes.
“Do they know?” you wheezed, “do they know about my squad?” The shock on Reno’s face told you all you needed to know. You closed your eyes, sorrow for your squad mates paining you more than your own wounds. Reno shook his head, “I heard you trying to tell us the co-ordinates, but the line kept cutting, I’m sorry. Not even I can get a good signal out.”
“But we can try now!” you shouted, clinging to his shoulders, “we can try again!” You pleaded with your eyes, “Reno, they’re going to die. My squad are going to die!” The rain hid your tears, but he knew you were crying.  He took a moment to gather his thoughts. He wanted to help you more than anything, but going back into there in your state was a death sentence.
“Im sorry, Lieutenant. Reinforcements will be here soon. Captain Ashiro has ordered us to stay put. There’s something out there. It’s jamming our communication system, no one can get a clear line of communication. It’s not safe. I’m sorry, but we can’t get them any help yet.”
While he talked, you shook your head backing away from him. “We have to try! I can’t leave them like that!” He watched you with pitying eyes, trying to lead you back into the alley. He gently grabbed your hand, beckoning you to follow him. Yanking it away from him, you glared daggers into him.
“I’m going back,” you stated, steading your breathing as best you could, stumbling away from him.
“No, you’re not,” Reno almost laughed at your state. You could barely breath, let alone walk, there was no way he was letting you go back in there. He moved to block your path, using his body to try to guide you back into the alley. You danced around each other, every step you took, he mirrored.
If you went left, he went left. If you ducked right, so did he. He did his best to keep from touching you, but he wasn’t against using force to get you back to safety. With your stomps, he stomped. With your lunges, he echoed. “Stand down, Ichikawa,” you demanded, stopping in front of him. Frustration threatened to erupt out of you.
“I can’t do that, Lieutenant,” Reno tried to keep his voice as calm as he could as he swiftly swiped your gun away from your grasp, throwing it down the alley.
“What the fuck?!” You draw the knife from its sheath at the base of your back, pushing him up against the mouth of the alley, holding it to his throat, your anguished eyes stare at him unfocused.
“I understand,” pressed against him, you meet his sympathetic gaze, “I’ve lost too.”
You stay there for a moment, letting the sound of rain trickling down envelope you. Taking a deep breath, you remove you knife from his throat, tossing it down the alley. Unable to meet his eye, ashamed of your outburst, you whisper an apology to him.
You stumble back a bit, letting your arm fall to your sides, taking in the carnage and dust around you. He was right, there was nothing that could be done. Defeated, you lean against the wall beside him, slowly easing yourself down to the concrete. Bringing your knees to your chest, you hug them, slowly letting reality take hold.
Allowing you face to fall to your knees, “I can’t lose anyone else,” you whisper between sobs.
“Neither can I,” Reno counters. Lifting you head to look at him, you find him crouching next to you, a sad smile on his lips. You watch him with glassy eyes, unsure of what to make of his statement. Searching for the right words to argue with him, you mutter out stammered ‘but’s.
Shushing you, Reno takes a seat next to you, pressing shoulder to shoulder. “I can’t lose you, Y/N, not when its avoidable. Once reinforcements arrive, you have my word that we will get medic to your squad. I promise you.”
You nod your head, giving him your best smile. You head feeling heavy, you lean it on his shoulder, fighting unconsciousness. Reno brought his arm around your shoulder to bring you closer, using his hand to stoke your hair. Finding comfort in his warmth, darkness took hold of your senses, all you could do was have faith the Reno would follow through on his word.
