fuck it friday 💗💜💙(7x04 coda?)
tagged by @tizniz 💖
hi! how are we feeling after 7x04 bc I feel like I'm dreaming and I've been crying the whole day today, my bi heart is sooooo happy😭😭 I wasn't gonna start new wips until i finish the cheating fic, but I opened a new doc and things happened lol - idk what this is, where I'm going with this, or if I'm even gonna continue, I just wanted to peek into Buck's head for a moment haha
___
Oh. Oh. Oooh. So that’s- that’s what it was. Huh.
That’s the first thing going through his mind as Tommy kisses him. It’s like- it’s like a piece of the puzzle finally sliding into place, after years and years of searching, looking for something to fill that space with, that feeling of something being missing. It’s almost weird, really, how easy it feels, how he’s more relieved than freaked out. Because this- oh, this makes so much sense. He’s into guys. He’s been into guys. And right now, at this moment, he’s into Tommy.
Holy shit, he’s into Tommy.
Buck’s mind has been a whirlwind of chaos and confusion and frustration for days, but now, when Tommy kisses him, it all silences. Just to start anew as they part, butterflies in his stomach so intense he feels like he might float, as a slow smile spreads across his face when Tommy pulls away.
This is the part of himself he’s been looking for, he’s been denying himself, he’s been silencing for so long. He doesn’t know why now, why Tommy, what it all means and where it’s leading. But he knows that now he feels almost... complete, feels like himself, feels at ease. Feels like Buck.
He feels giddy when Tommy asks him out, and finds that as soon as the door closes behind him, Buck already can’t wait to see him again. Jesus, he has a crush. He’s a grown man in his thirties, just now finding out he’s into guys, and he has a goddamn crush on a guy, and that’s why he’s been acting like a teenager. It makes so much sense now, and Buck feels- well, he’s embarrassed because of his idiotic behavior, and guilty for maiming his best friend, but most of all he just feels relieved. Because he knows now, knows why he’s been so bent out of shape about this whole situation, and can put a name to those feelings.  It’s like a huge weight has been lifted off his chest, that he didn’t even know was there.

NSFW ABC - Bubba Sawyer
Tumblr media
18+ MDNI
author's notes: reader's gender isn't specified but there is a quick reference to breasts and language eluding to specific genitals etc but I tried to cover all bases (so you can pick and choose what suits you.). Voyeurism is mentioned and light bdsm. One very minor mention of animal death but I promise it's not sad!!
Bubba is my sweet baby boy and I love him so much so I hope you guys enjoy!!! <3
A = Aftercare (what they're like after sex) - super clingy and cuddly. You're not going anywhere while bubba is in his afterglow. He feels possessive of you but he also wants you to feel so loved after doing the deed.
B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner's) - he's a little self concious and it took him a LONG time before he could even think about taking his mask off in front of you. But with all the praise and love you show him he's learnt to love himself especially his squishiness because that's what he loves about you. He loves how soft and kind and innocent you are and the gentle touches you give him.
C = Cum (anything to do with cum, basically) - Seeing you on your knees with his cum dripping out of your mouth makes him go wild. A lot of the times he cums quickly because he's an excitable boy and everything is pretty new to him. You're both often a mess by the end of it, cum dripping out of you, him smeared with your juices but he'll always clean you up. It doesn't matter how tired you both are, he'll take a cool wet cloth and wipe you up so gently taking his time to get every inch.
D = Dirty secret (pretty self-explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs) - Bubba is a bit of a perv. He doesn't want to admit it, mainly because he hasn't had a lot of time to express himself sexually so he doesn't know how to communicate what he wants. He often watches you change. He'll try and peek through the door to watch you undress but he's not very quiet about it. He also masturbates a lot when you've gone to town to get supplies. When he's in his workshop he'll unzip his pants and pump himself while thinking about you.
E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they're doing?) - our boy doesn't have a lot of experience but he's eager to learn. He tends to become a bit animalistic as he just responds to his body's needs when he sees you naked and playing with yourself. But with time he's able to get to know what he loves.
F = Favorite position (this goes without saying) - He loves when you're on top. He loves looking up at you and being able to grab your tummy and/or breasts. He's able to guide your hips and play with your nipples but he also loves it when you take the pace and tease him by slowing down.
G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.) - He doesn't tend to have the time to goof around. Once one of you is in the mood he's got his pants down and is raring to go (which unintentionally makes you laugh). But you can both have a giggle at yourselves.
H = Hair (how well-groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.) - He's a beast. He has thick dark hair all over his arms and chest and his pubic hair is no different. He keeps himself nice and clean in the texas heat by taking a cool bath every night but he's pretty simple as just a soap and wash cloth kinda guy. No need for trimming or waxing here.
I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect) - He can be a little feral at first but he is a really sappy guy. He loves kissing you deeply and watching you sleep afterwards. He'll stroke your hair and hold you close and he'll be super clingy the next day, hugging you from behind and picking you flowers from the garden.
J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon) - He loves to masturbate but he feels a little guilty about it afterwards. You tell him it's completely natural and most people do it, encouraging him if it makes him feel good. You take a few sexy snaps of yourself for him to have fun with when he's by himself.
K = Kink (one or more of their kinks) - He's a bit voyeuristic, watching over you in the garden as you bend over to tend to the plants, he can't help but feel his trousers becoming tighter. He also loves fucking you on the kitchen table when everyone else is out, the risk of not knowing when they'll be back. Other than that he doesn't really know much about kinks and is still exploring what he enjoys. Anything that you want to do though, he's eager to try out.
L = Location (favorite places to do the do) - It used to be that you wouldn't bother bubba in his workshop but one day you couldn't help yourself, you just missed him and wanted to keep him company. It's become a bit of a habit to do it in his workshop now especially when the house is full. There's a bit of risk that they'll hear but not enough that they'll come in. Sometimes when you have to go to town you'll take Bubba in the truck with you and stop off on the side of the road. He won't fully relax, eyes darting convinced someone will see and the risk will make him explode.
M = Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going) - Honestly he'll watch you with so much love in his eyes from you doing the dishes to tending the garden, he's normally very sappy. But sometimes the breeze will blow your skirt up just right or you'll be reaching up to put groceries away and your t-shirt will ride up. Something small like that can flood him with dirty thoughts of what he wants to do to you which often leads you to being grabbed and kissed by complete surprise.
N = No (something they wouldn't do, turn-offs) - He would have a lot of trouble hurting you. Even if you explained to him that it felt nice he wouldn't feel comfortable slapping or whipping you so BDSM isn't really something he'd enjoy but he would like tying you up.
O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.) - He doesn't have a preference he loves both! He LOVES eating you out/sucking you dry, he's surprisingly a natural at it. His frantic tongue movements never fail to make your toes curl.
P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.) - He starts off a little manic and fast because he's so excited and as he gets closer to cumming his thrusts become more erratic and sloppy so you can always tell when he's close.
Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.) - Bubba loves quickies! Often that's what you'll have to do as the house is always full of people and you get chastised by Drayton for being dirty.
R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.) - He likes the thrill of perhaps getting caught but it would never be too much of a risk. He couldn't have anyone seeing him from outside the family or without his mask on as that's too stressful for him.
S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?) - Tbh he cums fairly quickly and doesn't have a lot of stamina due to the intense texas heat but after you've both cooled down a little and perhaps even dozed off you'll feel his hard member pressing into your back, eager for another round.
T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?) - Any toys are introduced by you (he doesn't exactly have an easy way of getting them) and he's open to playing with them. The first time you used a vibrating cock ring on him he was out of it for a week. One thing he does have easy access to is chains, electrical tape, and ropes so if you express an interest in being tied up he's happy to comply!
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease) - He didn't have an interest at first and would find it quite infuriating when you would edge and tease him but he soon appreciated how good the end result felt. He wondered if he could pull it off on you and one day when giving you oral you begged and begged if you could cum and that's when he stopped. Hearing your whining and the need in your voice you had for him made him feel powerful and you had a looong night ahead of you that night.
V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.) Very loud, lots of incomprehensible gibberish and whimpering. When you're having sex, everyone is gonna know about no matter how hard he tries to keep quiet.
W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character) - He's very good with animals. One of the chickens died and even though he thinks she'll make a nice lamp he can't leave those little chicks alone. You find him keeping them warm and making sure they have food and water. When he goes out into the garden they come running and you often find him out there with all the young chickens in his lap. (If I could draw this OMG I WOULD)
X = X-ray (let's see what's going on under those clothes) - He's a big boy with a chunky soft body. He's covered in dark hair, his arms are big and he's very strong. He's about 4-5 inches and VERY thick, uncircumsised with a bush of curly dark hair.
Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?) - Very high let's be honest. Sometimes it's too hot and you're not in the mood so he'll run into his workshop to take care of himself. A victim once left a polaroid camera and you took a few sexy shots of yourself for him to keep in there.
Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterward) - Very quickly, often with you held close in his arms.

Buck/Tommy Late Night Ramblings: The Data (the 24 hour update)
We've passed the 24 hour point of the official 911 ABC Instagram posting the Buck and Tommy hospital kiss and holy shit, it performed better than I anticipated. Views have slowed, which is to be expected, but not as much as I anticipated. So let's get into the numbers.
If you want to take a minute to review what they were last night, check out 5/5 nightly BuckTommy ramble post here.
First major news is that multiple other videos were uploaded today, which brings the total number of reels on the official account to 113 with the average view count of 379k (so that has remained unchanged).
The hospital kiss has, as of the time I'm posting this, had 791k views, 75k in likes and 2k in comments. When we compare that to last night, it was an increase of 256k in views (so roughly a quarter million on it's second day), 19k in likes and 500 additional comments.
Overall, it moved from being the 22nd most viewed reel on the Instagram to 9th most viewed reel. The fact it was able to break the top 10 already shows just how much engagement this video is getting.
I also went down and broke down the top 11 videos so we can look at those closer.
Happy 1-18 Day (15 weeks ago): 4.1 million views
Trailer for Season 7 - Day of Premiere (7 weeks ago): 2.2 million
The Bachelor Promo (4 weeks ago): 1.4 million
The Bachelor Promo 2 (4 weeks ago): 1.4 million
Wedding Cliffhanger Scene / End of Episode 4 (3 weeks ago): 1.3 million
Happy Holidays from Angela (19 weeks ago): 1.1 million
Oliver Making a Basket on set of episode 4 (5 weeks ago): 927k
Name the Season Episode Title (1 week ago): 926k
Buck and Tommy Hospital Kiss & Coming Out (1 day ago): 791k
Buck Coming out to Eddie (3 weeks ago): 764k
JLH Song for Wedding (3 days ago): 753k
So a few observations about these:
I include 11 reels because I don't really consider the Happy 1-18 a good representation of the top videos. That clip is only a few seconds long and loops really quickly. That explains why it has 4 million views compared to everything else.
Most of these videos have been up 3+ weeks to pull these type of numbers.
I think it's interesting the Madney/Chimney song video is pulling very similar numbers as the Buck/Tommy kiss in the same time frame. This, to me, suggests a similar appeal to the ships in regards to how fans are engaging. Which is a very, very good sign. It also passed the Buddie coming out scene which honestly surprised me. I didn't anticipate that happening so quickly.
Comments also remain overwhelming positive.
I'm gong to update the numbers tomorrow night but I don't predict a huge movement in it's overall place. As you can see, spot 8 and up are basically at the million and higher mark. I do have confidence that this video will eventually hit that but when that will be is determined by how quickly the views slow down (which naturally occurs as we get further and further away from the date it's posted).
I've also decided to keep doing these nightly BuckTommy rambles so please follow, comment and send me ideas of what you'd like me to talk about.

Make a Touchdown on My Heart
Rating: General CW: Doesn't Apply For This One! Tags: Established Relationship, Post-Canon, Eddie Munson is a Sweetheart, Steve Harrington is a Sweetheart, Neurodivergent Steve Harrington, Super Bowl XXII, Steve Harrington is a Sports Nerd, Domestic Fluff, Comfort/No Hurt, Fluff, Dialogue Heavy (Some facts in here may be inaccurate, I am not a sports enthusiast. All of these came from the internet, so blame it if I'm wrong.) For the @steddielovemonth prompt: "Love is being seen and known."
💕—————💕
It’s January, 1988. Their apartment is warm and lit by amber bulbs. Four in the afternoon in Chicago, work days over, dinner slow cooking in the crockpot on the counter. Eddie’s already dressed down in pajamas, grabbing a couple beers from their fridge, waiting for Steve to arrive home. Domestic. He’s been domesticated. He’s warm with contentment.
The plan is that Steve is going to get home, change out of his Family Video get up (because, yes, the video store has followed him to Illinois), get into his sweats and a Denver Bronco’s t-shirt, rush to get his sneakers back on, and hurry over to the local sports bar to yell over the Super Bowl. It’s been discussed. Marked on the calendar. Steve’s been excited for the last several months, practically bubbling with passion at the mere thought that one of his favorite teams made it to the “big game” as he described it to Eddie.
Now, Eddie’s no sports guy. He really, really, really isn’t. But he’d grown up with Wayne watching football. Tuning the television to ABC, right at the top of six, Miller in hand, bowl of chips in the other. Eddie usually resigned himself to a night of sitting on the couch, clueless to the sports world around him, probably nose deep in campaign notes. But he’s not in Indiana. He’s not listening to Wayne’s gruff commentary as he prepares for a night in with football. He’s in Illinois with his boyfriend, Steve Harrington—sports extraordinaire, quite literally.
Steve does this wonderfully adorable thing where he pulls out his new copy of Sports Illustrated or tunes in on their little kitchen radio or flips to whatever game is on, he rattles on about statistics and new players and his predictions—what team he thinks will make it to playoffs, which players will retire that year, how many touchdowns a team will get. It’s his favorite thing to talk about. Well, it could be any sport. He knows quite a bit about literally any sport.
“Who had the most strikeouts in 1984?” Eddie had asked one evening.
Without any preamble, Steve had shot him with, “Dwight Gooden, New York Mets.”
So, yeah, Steve knows his shit. At least in Eddie’s humble opinion.
Which is why, even though Eddie will probably get super bored, he’s got the TV remote ready. Just waiting on Steve’s quick arrival.
And, not too long later, keys are jingling outside of their apartment’s front door, impatient steps marching in place on the porch. “Just come in, babe! It’s unlocked!” Eddie shouts, chuckling under his breath.
In comes Steve, a whirlwind of energy. He sheds his coat by the front door, snowflakes falling from his shoulders and the top of his beanie. The coat doesn’t even make it over a chair, is just chucked down to the hardwood. Ripping the hat off his head reveals the most glorious and awful hedgehog style Eddie’s ever seen. But that doesn’t even seem to phase Steve. He just runs a hand through his hair, knocking his glasses askew (yes, glasses, Eddie’s wet dream), quickly wetting his lips with his tongue. He’s already talking a mile a minute.
“Happy hour got moved up an hour at the bar! There’s a whole block taken up by cars.” His voice gets farther and farther away the more he retreats to their bedroom. There’s some rustling around as he looks for his sweatpants. “Bunch of Redskins fans all meeting there, feels like! Gonna be the only one with a Broncos shirt. It’s insane, Eds! They’re all talking about how Doug Williams is gonna lead the Redskins to victory. Which, I’ll give it to them, he’s awesome! He’s one of the best quarterbacks I’ve seen in a long time. Honestly, he’ll probably make history with this game.”
Steve reenters the living space, still chatting up a storm, eyes wandering for his yet to be obtained sweats. Eddie’s got a hand over his mouth, chuckling lowly into his cupped palm. He’s such a dork, he can’t help but think.
He continues on, oblivious to Eddie's adoration snickering. “I’m really excited to see how this goes. Y’know how there was a players strike this season?” He’s asking rhetorically because he usually doesn’t get a response from Eddie, but he nods anyway, because he does know. It’s all Steve’s talked about. “Season was shortened, but…Considering how the Redskins are doing? This might be a crazy game. And also—Wait.” Steve stops short in front of Eddie in the entryway of their small kitchen. He sniffs the air.
“It’s bean dip, babe,” Eddie answers already knowing. “I—uh—I made it for you, for tonight.”
“But I’m not gonna be home? I’ll be up the street?”
Eddie shrugs. “Or…you could be here? With me?” He enters Steve’s space, wiggling the TV remote in his grip. “I put the dip in this morning after you left for work. Went out to the store and picked up a case of Millers. Your sweatpants are in the dryer, I’m warming them up. Just in case the cold creeps under the door, you know how it gets.”
And that makes Steve shut up really fast. His mouth hangs open in silent awe. Hands limp at his sides. Then, all at once, his eyes light up and a smile stretches over his face. “You wanna watch the Super Bowl with me?”
Eddie nods. “Yeah, baby. You’ve been talking about it for a while and…I don’t know, you’re so excited, I knew that I couldn’t take that from you. Make you leave the house and not bear witness to your whole—“ He waves a hand over Steve’s bouncing in place body. His flapping hands, the jump to his feet as he quite literally bounces on the tips of his toes. “—Look at you right now! You’re like a dog waiting for me to throw the ball. How could I not watch it with you?” He grabs Steve by his left elbow and drags them over to the couch.
Finally, he turns the television on, flips it over to ABC, and plops the remote in Steve’s lap. He’s still jittering out of his skin.
“You want to watch the game with me,” he states, once more in awe. “Because I get excited? But—You don’t like football? You’re gonna get bored.”
Once again, Eddie shrugs. “So what if I get bored? I don’t need to watch the game, I just need to watch you. I’ll know how to react based on how you do. So far, it sounds like the Redskins are gonna be a pain in the ass for you, right?”
“You remembered the name of the team?”
Eddie scoffs. “Of course I do! I listen to you when you talk about your sports stuff. You’ve been moaning and groaning about the Redskins’ new star quarterback for a while now. You think I don’t enjoy sitting next to you on the couch when you read off the stats in your magazines? Baby, it’s the highlight of my day.”
Steve’s eyes soften, they glisten, surprisingly. “Really? You don’t mind when I talk about my sports things? Even when…Even when it isn’t that interesting to you?”
“Loving you means loving what you love,” Eddie simply states. “Just like when you let me ramble about campaign notes and how infuriating it’s been to find a new Dungeons & Dragons group.” He wraps an arm over Steve’s shoulders, drawing him in close. His free hand cradles Steve’s right cheek, it’s wet under his palm. “Why you cryin’ sweet thing?” He murmurs.
It’s Steve’s turn to shrug. He sniffs back a gross wad of snot. “Nobody ever liked listening to me talk about it, I don’t know. Used to watch the games alone. Hated that.”
Leaning in, Eddie pecks Steve’s forehead. “Well, that changes starting tonight, alright? So, go grab your sweats from the dryer, slip into your Broncos shirt, settle in on the couch. I’ll get us some food, crack open our beers, and you can shout and slap my chest all you want about your game. How’s that sound?”
“Like you know me really well,” Steve answers.
“Good, baby,” he whispers. “Love knowing you. Love loving you.”

Tease Tidbit Tuesday
Tagged by the super fantabulous @bekkachaos (dropped a whole fic, check it out!) @jamespearce9-1-1 @thewolvesof1998 @giddyupbuck @eddiebabygirldiaz @hippolotamus @daffi-990 @jesuisici33 and @disasterbuckdiaz. Thank you all so much and I am so very excited for your works!
Feeling a lot better today and I'm in still in a good NFL Buck mood. So here is a little snippet from the Dosed arc, featuring for the first time Buck's perspective. (Everything NFL Buck can be found here.)
After many different un-needed apologies from Eddie about the pollen and several assurances from Buck that Eddie is safe from the tiny ladies made of said pollen, the dosed firefighter finally passes out. Poor man is still in his uniform and is going to have one hell of a hangover when he wakes up. Or at least according to the article Buck speed read after Sergeant Grant stated his boyfriend and the majority of the 118 had been dosed with a hallucinogen. Most likely LSD. Buck lets out a groan of both frustration and weariness. He had just gotten home from the days workout with the team and was getting ready for his cool down when the gates intercom went off. Thinking it was another wayward delivery person who had yet again ignored instructions to leave all packages in the lock box, Buck was taken by complete surprise to see LAPD on the video. And hearing Eddie's desperate cries in the background, threw him for a major loop. Eddie is taken care of for the moment and quick texts to Carla and his sister, insured Christopher would be away until tomorrow afternoon, giving his father time to recover. The last issue at hand, is waiting patiently in Buck's living room. Rolling his shoulders, Buck steps through the arch way, doing his best to ignore the niggle of fear in his gut and to just put on the mask of Evan Buckley, charismatic and cool NFL quarterback. "Seeing that you are alone and a little more at ease, I assume firefighter Diaz is finally settled?" The Sergeant asks sounding truly concerned, but Buck can also see a glint of scrutiny and the mask of charm falters. "Um, yea." Buck answers trying and failing to meet her sharp gaze, feeling as if she could see every little secret he was holding. "Thank you, again for bringing him home and keeping him safe." Ms. Grant shrugs, "Its the job and he's fellow first responder. Plus my husband is becoming quite fond of Diaz, even without knowing him all that well." She catches Buck's wondering eye at that and it freezes him on the spot. "Have to say, finding out Evan Buckley, the LA Ram's shiny new star and hottest NFL bachelor is secretly dating a single father and firefighter from Texas, is the most surprising thing that's happened to me so far this year. And I allowed a delinquent kid out of my custody, to hot wire a concrete mixer to save a man trapped in his burning car." The entirety of the Evan Buckley facade shatters and Buck has to swallow every shard of dread. Shit.
Like Buck could fool Athena. Psssh. Hope you all enjoyed!
PSA: School has officially started for me this week and as I am in a 9 month fast track program, most of my focus will be on my school work, so my writing is going to slow down. But I will find the time.

Kamala Harris appeared to struggle to explain her economic policies and how she will get them through Congress in an interview with CBS' 60 Minutes.
The Vice President's full interview will air at 8pm ET Monday as part of an election special, showing her repeatedly asked about her plans for the economy.
'My plan is about saying that when you invest in small businesses, you invest in the middle class, and you strengthen America's economy. Small businesses are part of the backbone of America's economy,' she said.
But when CBS' Bill Whitaker continued to grill her what her plan does and how she would pay for it, Harris didn't offer any specifics, just staying she knew lawmakers agreed with her.
'I'm going to make sure that the richest among us who can afford it, pay their fair share in taxes. It is not right that teachers and nurses and firefighters are paying a higher tax rate than billionaires and the biggest corporations. And I plan on making that fair,' she said.
'But we're dealing with the real world here,' Whitaker told her, asking her how she would get it approved by Congress.
'You know, when you talk quietly with a lot of folks in Congress, they know exactly what I'm talking about, because their constituents know exactly what I'm talking about. Their constituents are those firefighters and teachers and nurses,' Harris replies.
The Democratic presidential nominee released part of her economic plan last week. It focuses on lowering middle-class taxes, cutting food and grocery costs, and lowering prescription drug prices.
She also talks about creating an 'opportunity economy' for Americans to buy their first home or start a business.
Voters rate the economy as one of their top issues for the 2024 presidential election. Harris is seeking to distance herself from President Joe Biden, who receives low marks from voters on his handling of the economy.
Biden was hammered for high inflation during his tenure, which led to a spike in prices in groceries, gas and rent.
'While real gross domestic product growth slowed in the first quarter of this year, growth rebounded to a strong 3.0% in the second quarter. All available evidence suggests policymakers may have managed to bring inflation under control without causing a recession,' analysts wrote.
Harris sat down with 60 Minutes for a pre-election special that will air on Monday night. CBS released some early excerpts of the interview, which will also address the war in the Middle East.
The news program also asked to interview Donald Trump as part of their special. The former president agreed and then backed out, saying he felt 60 Minutes owed him an apology for some of its previous reporting on him.
Trump appeared to be referring to his last interview with program, which took place in 2020 while he was president. He walked out on correspondent Lesley Stahl.
'They came to me and would like me to do an interview, but first I want to get an apology, because the last time I did an interview with them, if you remember, they challenged me on the computer,' Trump said last week.
'They said the 'laptop from hell' was from Russia, and I said it wasn't from Russia. It was from Hunter, and I never got an apology, so I'm sort of waiting. I'd love to do '60 Minutes.' I do everything.'
Harris, meanwhile, is on an interview blitz in the final days of the election.
In addition to appearing on 60 Minutes, she also taped an interview with the popular Call Her Daddy podcast, which has a target audience of young women.
On Tuesday, Harris will be live on ABC's The View, visit The Howard Stern Show, and appear with Stephen Colbert on CBS's The Late Show.
On Thursday, she will participate in a Univision town hall.
Many of the interviews are considered 'friendly' territory for the candidate. Trump employs a similar strategy, often appearing on Fox News.   _________________________

“Person of Interest” - Beau Arlen x Reader

There's a new sheriff in town. And he just so happens to have parked his RV in your campgrounds. What's a park ranger to do with all that Texas charm strutting around on a fine pair of bow legs?
I'm participating in @jacklesversebingo and this part will fill my "Anonymous Gifts/Flowers" square.
Writing about Beau for the first time was so much fun. He's got such a sweet, gentle, charming, goofy way about him on the show. I am at least making sure in my story that Beau gets his kiss. (I have also been asked by a friend to maybe have a little "Big Sky After Dark" epilogue at some point. Will see.) I've gotten a lot of inspiration from my bingo card. Thoroughly enjoyed participating and hope to mark off every square... at some point.
Also, diving into Helena history for this date I came a lot of interesting facts and fun places along Last Chance Gulch Street.

Since you’d asked Beau out on a date - apparently, that was news to you - it was also up to you to pick the when and where. That was how he'd left it that night around the fire, anyway, with a wink and a smile.
It had been a busy few days after the fourth of July for the both of you. But, you’d settled on a Sunday evening, crossing fingers there were no abductions or bank robberies.
There was never a dull moment in Helena.
You’d decided on a time and place. The plan was to meet at The Windbag Saloon and Grill. You sat at the bar, sipping your Huckleberry Mule.
Your eyes dart to the door every time it swishes open. When you finally spot him entering, a sharp inhale steadies you. The nerves that wound you up all day threaten to release fast enough to spin you like a top upon the stool.
His gaze skates over the scene once, twice. The double-take and zoning in on your face when he clocks you forces you to exhale. You wish it didn’t sound like a frightened puppy. Thank goodness he can’t hear it. Recollection fills his face, and that sunbeam smile melts you.
He takes the stroll over. You internally confirmed sitting at the farthest end of the bar was the right decision. It gives you ample time to enjoy the view of the sheriff and prepare to be devastated by all that handsome up close.
He has a full, bouncy head of hair you’d kill for. Scratch that. You’d kill to run your fingers through it. His denim jacket with a fleece collar and hints of the warm and fuzzy liner has you imagining him offering it to you on a chilly walk. You only want to get a better look at the broad shoulders and chest underneath. The shine of his silver belt buckle directs you further south for probably a second longer than would have been appropriate to stare.
You sip a little more liquid courage.
“Did I get the time wrong?” he asks, confused and already looking apologetic when he meets you at the bar. He strums a few fingers on the countertop.
“Nope.” With a head shake, you offer the adjacent stool with an outstretched hand. “I was extra early. And you were early.”
He sighs and slides in beside you. “If you’re early, you’re on time. That’s what I was taught, anyway.”
“Slow day at the office?” you ask.
The bartender drops a coaster and a napkin in front of Beau and asks what he’s having. He requests a beer, then returns to your question in a flash. “Not particularly. Why do you ask?”
You decide to try the all-knowing approach. “You had time to have flowers delivered to Linda Devonshire.”
The caught-off-guard smirk gives him away. “Me? Flowers to Linda?” He tuts. “Why would I send flowers to a married woman?”
“Oh, I don’t know. Probably because you were as ecstatic as everyone else in the park, knowing she was packing up and heading back home. I’ll bet you had the date circled on your calendar.” You spin in the seat a fraction. Inadvertently, you swish a knee over his denim-covered thigh while attempting to cross your legs.
He reacts a fraction to the touch, staring at the floor between you. His lips purse, and his brows lower. “Well, being as happy as the rest of those in Black Sandy State Park is not enough motive to suspect I’m the one that sent the flowers. Not very good detective work. Need a little more proof to convict.”
“Hm.” You shrug and wait for him to prod you more for your reasoning.
Instead, he licks his lips and smiles. “I didn’t recognize you dressed as a civilian.”
You straighten up and toss the hair back over your shoulder dramatically. “Didn’t think I could clean up this well?”
He shakes his head, all serious. “Nah. I just didn’t think you could get any prettier.”
That shuts you up.
~
“Yellowfin?” The server asks the both of you, now at a table after finishing your first round of drinks at the bar.
Your hand raises.
After the sandwich plate lands in front of you, the server confirms to Beau, “And the Vigilante for you?”
Beau nods, rubbing hands together, taking in the contents of his meal with high brows. “Yes, indeed.”
“Anything else right now?”
Beau points to you in wait, but you shake your head.
“All good for now, thanks,” he answers.
You groan, looking at Beau’s burger. “There is so much going on over there.”
He lifts the bun. “Yeah. Candied jalapenos. Grilled ham and onions. An over-easy egg.”
“Not to mention the half-pound of beef underneath all that.”
He resituates the bun and wiggles it in place. “Don’t forget the huckleberry barbecue sauce. I may regret it later. Worth it.”
You laugh. “I hope so, for your sake. Otherwise, this may be a pretty early night.”
He chuckles. “I don’t think anything could mess up tonight. Even my poor menu choices.”
The certainty in his voice makes you smile. “Kind of surprising you haven’t stumbled onto this spot yet since you’ve been in town. Considering how close it is to the sheriff’s office.”
“Well, the Boot Heel is where I usually end up with Hoyt and Cassie.”
You nod. “There’s a lot of history along Last Chance Gulch Street. Worth checking out and getting acquainted. Being the new sheriff in town and all.” You bite into a french fry.
“Hey, I did some research.” He clamps his large, beefy hands around the large, beefy burger. “This street was between a bunch of mining claims, where a lot of gold prospectors got rich.” He nods and confirms, “Give me a second with this, if you don’t mind?”
You laugh and wave both hands in permission. “Of course.”
He bites down and chews. Eyes close. Deep in thought. “Oh, yeah,” he mumbles around the burger. “This was the worst idea in the best way.”
“Take it easy there.” You try to jest. Truthfully, you wouldn’t mind sitting back and enjoying the show.
He swallows and sips on his second beer. “Man, it’s good I walked ten minutes from the office. I’m gonna need fresh air to clear my head and some exercise after all this.”
“Maybe I can interest you in a little walk down Last Chance Gulch after this.” Your suggestion raises his cheeks with a grin. You add, “History lesson and all that to accompany your calorie burning.”
“I’d like that.” He dabs the barbecue sauce off the corner of his mouth. He thumbs towards the outside of the restaurant. “Know who the lady is on The Windbag sign?”
“Oh, that’d be ‘Big Dorothy’.”
“Big Dorothy, huh? She the original owner?”
“Not of the saloon. She ran a business on these premises. Got closed down in 1973.” You sample your sandwich and watch Beau enjoy another bite of his burger. You wait until he’s thoroughly invested in the act, swallow, and then continue. “It was a brothel.”
His face stills in mid-chew.
You giggle.
He exaggerates his munching for a few seconds more.
“The place was called ‘Dorothy’s Rooms’. She was actually very well respected in Helena. Donated to lots of charities, and then the police had to go and raid her establishment and shut it all down. You may wanna tread lightly, Sheriff. Dorothy’s ghost might not appreciate your kind under her roof.”
“Noted.” He clears his throat.
~
Your guided walking tour doesn’t have the intended effect of calorie burning. Instead, you sit with Beau in a green wooden booth at The Parrot Confectionery. You’re splitting a Parrot Special Sundae.
“Oh, man.” Beau indulges in his first spoonful. It’s wondrous to behold how much enjoyment the man has with his food.
The evening has been filled with light and easy conversation to start. Lots of laughter mixed with information gathering from both of you as the date wore on. You spill about your life, years back, out west. You aren’t ready to divulge much about the relationship you left behind except the marriage had not worked out as expected. Beau’s a bit guarded as well with specific details. Something had happened on the job, though, in Houston. Something alarming enough to have him quit the force. And you think it might be one of the reasons he was now divorced.
Beau’s eyes sparkle. “I’ll have to take Em here.”
You nod. “Definitely.” He lights up every time he talks about his daughter. It’s sweet and makes him even more endearing. It almost makes you feel bad thinking naughty thoughts as his tongue laboriously licks the fudge off his spoon.
“Gotta say, darlin’, it feels like you’ve given me the key to the city tonight.”
“And plenty of indigestion.”
“I told ya. Worth it,” he insists. It’s his turn to watch you eat a few spoonfuls. You focus on the strawberry scoop. He seems to gravitate toward the huckleberry flavor and completely avoid the split banana underneath it all.
“Well, we could walk a little more to the end of the street after this,” you suggest. “I mean, the old fire tower is down that way. But you’ve gotta know about that. Impossible to miss.”
“Oh, yeah, I know all about the Guardian of the Gulch.”
You smile. “Did I forget to mention that Linda Devonshire dropped off the flowers she got to the ranger’s office before she left?”
The spoon Beau is holding clinks the sundae bowl. “You did forget to mention that.”
You swirl your spoon in the vanilla. “Well, she thanked us and said the flowers would probably hold up better staying with us than the trek back home. And she also read the note aloud to see if we had any idea who the anonymous sender was.”
Beau sighs. “Of course she did.”
You tap a finger on your chin. “What was it exactly? Oh, yes. The note said, ‘Thank you for your excellent matchmaking skills. ~ a Guardian of the Gulch’. She was completely perplexed by it. Said she hadn’t gone out of her way to coordinate any dates or encounters in Helena. Didn’t know anyone well enough for that. But we did get to hear about how she’s introduced about a dozen people to their current spouses in her home state.”
Beau lifts both shoulders. A sheepish smile forms. “If it hadn’t been for Linda’s complaints, I might not have gotten all those chances to get to know you a little better. And we wouldn’t be sitting here now.”
“This all sounds very silver lining thinking.”
“I try. On occasion.”
~
You roll into a parking spot in the lot behind the Sheriff’s office, engine idling. Beau’s in the passenger seat.
“Well, I hope I didn’t keep you out too late.” He leans into the backrest. A couple of creaks emit from his spine. “I appreciate you walking with me up and down Last Chance Gulch after dessert. Between the beer and the beef and the banana split, every step counts.”
You smile. “This was nice. We should do it again sometime.” He opens his mouth, but you cut him off, “I know, you accept.”
The warmth of his fingers gliding over yours, gripping the steering wheel, tingles your skin. Half in the night’s shadow, his face scolds with scrunched lips and slitted lids. “Give a man a chance to ask you out properly, would ya?”
You laugh to soothe your nerves. “I didn’t realize I’d asked you out again. Hell, I didn’t realize I’d asked you out the first time.”
He tilts his head. “I may have pulled the trigger on that one. Guess I’m finding it hard to be patient when it comes to…” He trails off, quiets, and looks serious. You realize he’s staring at your mouth.
“Sheriff!”
You both flinch in your seats. Deputy Poppernak is heading towards the passenger side of your car. Beau straightens, and you oblige the greeting and roll down his window.
“Hey, Poptop.” Beau razzes.
“Thought you’d left hours ago.” Poppernak halts five feet from the car, spots you, and waves. “How’s things going, Ranger?”
“Just fine, Deputy. How about you?” you ask.
“Can’t complain. Done for the day after a lot of paperwork. Headin’ home.”
The three of you nod in unison for an uncomfortably long amount of time.
“Okay.” Poppernak offers a friendly salute. “Night.”
You watch the deputy hop into a family van and drive off rather quickly.
“Well,” Beau sighs, “this is gonna be all over the office in the morning.”
“This?” you question. Beau eyes you. “How do you think they’re gonna classify this?”
He smiles. “Well, I guess this would be me spending some time with a person of interest. And actually, I think I’m gonna need to spend a lot more time with this person of interest. So, would you give me the pleasure of taking you out on another date, darlin’?”
All you can do is nod. His mossy green eyes sparkle. Cool fingertips round the shell of your ear. You shiver as he traces your jawline, moving in to close the gap. And then, nothing but you breathing in his warmth as he exhales softly into the kiss. It’s gentle and careful. But he tests how your lips fit and press against each other from a few angles. He settles for a spell and feasts on your mouth.
He pulls away. His fingers trail from your chin after a sweet pinch. “Are you free next weekend?”
You nod, dazed.
He grins. “Good. I’ll pick you up at your place if you’re comfortable with that?”
You nod again.
“Thank you for the ride.” He hops out of the car and closes the door with a soft click. Leaning into the still-open window he leaves you with, “Be careful headin’ home.”
“You too, Beau.”
He smiles from ear to ear, taps the window sill, and walks to his jeep. You can’t help but wait until he slides into the driver’s seat and gives you a wave. You shift into drive and leave the lot.
You can’t remember much of the actual ride home. Your mind is filled only with thoughts of Sheriff Beau Arlen. They make you smile. Hum along to the radio. You’re light as a feather and full of hope for what’s to come.
All because of a Guardian of the Gulch.

I saw your post about the importance of Buck and Tommy being kinky (and I agree!!) but I have a question for you: do you think Buck and Tommy have already had sex or is it something we’re going to build to in the series? Especially seeing that we’ve seen hook up scenes with other couples (including Buck), do you think we’ll see it on screen or is that something even ABC isn’t willing to do?
Honestly I could totally see it either way (kinda like I could see them either jumping straight into bed or going nice and slow - I’ve read fic where the writers made both work).
I think from a TV standpoint, it depends partially on if there’s a time skip between seasons for whether “Buck and Tommy’s first time” becomes a plot point. If there’s any kind of time skip, they may have moved on past the new relationship phase and it would feel weird to have that be a storyline when they’re more of an established couple.
If we start right back with Gerard’s first day, then it’s feasible. I could possiblyyy see them going for a somewhat cliche storyline where Buck has some weird ideas about the Top/Bottom convo and goes to Hen or something (and everything is said in innuendo), but they already had Buck be cringey with his “I’m an ally” schtick so I’d rather they go in another direction. And it’s not like we knew exactly when Eddie/Marisol started having sex, so it wouldn’t be rare for them to skip over that if it doesn’t fit the narrative they’re going for.
With that said, I think there are plenty of ways to give “confirmation” that they have sex, without actually making it a huge plot point or getting too raunchy for network television.
A scene where they wake up shirtless (and presumably naked) in the same bed to an unexpected call. A fade to black scene where they’re making out somewhere more private than a hospital waiting room and the door shuts (a la Taylor/Buck). Or even just Buck getting comfortable enough to make sex jokes at the firehouse to freak Chimney out (and have him yell about how they’re brothers now so Buck shouldn’t tell him these things).
So while I’m hopeful for more Tommy/Buck storylines (and honestly more scenes of them making out, preferably with fewer clothes, because those are some beautiful men), I don’t necessarily think we should expect their first time to be a big deal on screen or take it as a bad sign if it isn’t. And if it’s not, then that’s what fic is for!

now that the season has wrapped do you have any thoughts on buddie and whether it's happening or not. i do recall you made a post before the season started if all this buddie promotion before the season started wasn't leading to buddie then it would be cruel. for the record i do still very much believe this is all leading to buddie endgame but just curious to hear your thoughts if possible now that the season has ended. Hope you have a lovely day.
Back at the end of season three, I expressed the opinion that season four was going to be the "shit or get off the pot" moment for Buddie. The event horizon, if you will.
Given that we now know they attempted to make Buddie canon at the end of season four with the shooting/using the shooting to go into season five with Buddie becoming canon there, I think I can safely say my prediction/analysis was correct. The studio stopped them, the story line was stalled, and now we're here.
Many people have noted that season seven feels in certain ways like a reboot for Buck and Eddie. Eddie is going through a dark period similar to season five, he's heavily paralleled with Bobby who is going through it as well, and Buck is bi (as Oliver Stark said something they tried to do in season four). So while I would've loved Buddie canon this season, I can see why they wouldn't want to rush things and would want to retread some ground first to properly lay foundations.
However, while I know everyone's chanting "slow burn! slow burn! slow burn!" we already... kinda got everything for a slow burn that we'd want? The only thing we could do is have confessions of feelings to a third party and then mutual pining but really I feel like you could view them as having done that mutual pining and so on already?
I personally feel that season eight is the new event horizon. The shit or get off the pot season. If it doesn't happen by then, then others I'm sure will continue to be hopeful or even certain of Buddie canon, but I personally won't be. There's only so long you can drag something out before even if it does become canon, it's unsatisfying.
To be clear, I don't think Buddie isn't happening. I think ABC wants it, and I think the majority of the cast and crew want it, but it ain't over 'til it's over and so I don't want to say "yes Buddie is FOR SURE happening 100% I have zero doubts." I think it's highly likely that we'll get Buddie canon, I certainly hope we do, I think it's the only thing that makes sense for the characters - I'm just saying that we're quickly approaching once again the point where you have to either make it canon, or we're not going to get it.
So those are my thoughts. Hopefulness tempered with my usual anxiety, and a statement of fact. I hope we'll get Buddie canon, but whether we do or not, season eight is the moment I feel we'll know. I personally probably won't be holding out hope if it doesn't happen next season, but that's just me and my own analysis! Do not let me stop you from your own hopes and dreams!

Let me just pick apart this interview.
It was great to see him smile because my heart has been breaking for him all season. It seems like the priest said what he needed to hear, but why do you think it was a priest who he needed to hear that from rather than Bobby, Buck, or anyone else in his life?
"I think sometimes when you’re too close to the person, the message doesn’t really hold. So it does take a third party to come in and give you some outside influence. What better than a—I mean, we’ve all known that Eddie has Catholic— [Laughs] He likes to be a Catholic, but then he doesn’t, and he kind of goes back and forth. So who better than a priest to come over and save the day?"
---
Hummm. Ok. I think I'm more confused with this answer.
---
And it feels like he needed to be out of the church, though, for that.
Yes, yes, yes. It’s unconventional for a Catholic to obviously get any kind of that outside of the church, which I think we all know Eddie’s unconventional. So it did take the priest coming out and meeting him on his own ground and really just making it a grounded message. It wasn’t like a priest talking to one of his subordinates; it was just a man talking to another man and giving him great advice.
---
Ok. This is a little more clear.
---
When I spoke with Tim yesterday, he said that Eddie has to figure himself out. What do you think Eddie has to figure out now that he is moving forward?
"I think anything that you do in the beginning, you do it really, really bad. So I think finding love for yourself, if you haven’t done it, you’re probably going to be really bad at it. So although I love the scene of him dancing and giving him opportunity to be like, “Here’s the great first step.” After that first step, it’s going to be a little difficult for him. “Now, where do I go? I did the Risky Business. I did my dream, but how do I implement that in my day-to-day life?” So it will be very interesting to see how Eddie is trying to attain this new version of himself."
Yeah, I was going to say, even though there was some joy in that, it doesn’t mean that everything is fixed. Now he knows he can move forward. Are we going to see something in between the heartbreak and the joy going forward?
"I think it’ll be more awkwardness, more like him trying to reach out of his comfort zone and not being great at it, so relying on his teammates, his 118 family, and just kind of bouncing ideas and bouncing personalities, I guess. Trying to figure out himself out. Yeah, it’ll be awkward, funny. It’ll be a bunch of different things. I had fun playing with Eddie."
---
Credit to the interviewer. He tried to nail him with these questions.
---
When you say outside his comfort zone, what do you mean specifically?
Nothing too extreme. More just maybe him being a little happier when he used to be a little sadder or more somber or more quiet and reserved, him being a little bit more outspoken. I can’t really say too much, but I would say that it’s not some extreme change for him. It’s a slow and steady change for him, but he is a semi-control freak, so I would think that any small change feels like a big change to him.
---
Is this what people are worried about? If Eddie had some sort of epiphany with his sexuality, it would be extreme? Maybe? But then he says It's a slow and steady change. Okay. Okay. I'm not going to worry. I've said since last season that if the show is going to reveal Eddie as a gay character, it will be this season so I'm going to stick with that. (Honestly, I'm more concerned about last-minute changes from ABC because there is about to be a strong shift in forcing Americans to live according to Evangelical values.) That is the last I'll say on that for now. I don't want to speculate on my real-world fears. 911 is golden. I'll worry more when the regime changes.
---
Is a relationship or even thinking about one on his radar at this point? It feels like he has a lot to work through before he can even think about that.
"Absolutely not. Yeah. There is not one relationship in his head. I believe that Eddie is just so focused on what he needs to be doing as a good man that before he does anything else with a good woman, he needs to solidify that."
---
Ohhh. I bet this is what has everyone worried. I don't have the confidence that other people have when they say with absolute certainty that the actor is lying. I believe it is possible he is lying, but sometimes a rose is just a rose. I'm sticking with my original statement. I'm giving it this season.
---
What else is coming up for Eddie?
"We have a lot of funny moments with Eddie. I’ve been having a good time playing around with Eddie and allowing him to try and figure—he’s not going to be good at trying to figure out how he loves himself and how to go about it, but just a lot of playful moments, almost childlike moments where Eddie is just kind of reconnecting with himself and in that sense, maybe he’s kind of reconnecting with Christopher without knowing it. So he’s building into this person that I think he could be proud of. And where that leads is something—a new chapter is yet to unfold in the next couple episodes."
---
Okay. Okay. This is promising. This puts us back at possibly a big reveal in episode 8 before hiatus. I've set myself up for a big reveal in 5 and 6. It didn't happen in either, so my track record is not great. At least we will not have to wait long to find out. Also, I'm impressed with how Ryan handled the interview. Usually when he is trying to keep from revealing anything, he goes into this weird place and is completely nonsensical. He held his own in this one.
If you want to skip me and just read the article, here you go.

Hi Diana!
I’m new around here and around this fandom, so sorry if you’ve already answered something like this.
In my opinion, I think Buddie could be in the cards, but not short/mid term, so my question is: do you think they’re gonna make Tommy stay as a serious relationship with Buck? I would love to see them make every step of the way…
Thanks!!
Hi💙 welcome to fandom and Tumblr 🫂(unfortunately I can't say it's always friendly here, but you'll find your people I'm sure 😘💙)
I think buddie wasn't in the plans of fox like romance (so before season 7). As for now, I think they consider this, to make them canon romance, but would go for it only if we will have season 9 and 10. To make it really good slow burn. Because they really need at least end this season(and knowing Eddie's arcs I suspect it will happen only in season 8) with Eddie getting through his catholic guilt. And I don't see for now reasons for Tommy not stay for season 8 to be really serious with Buck. There's big possibility of it. And as I already said it somewhere, if season 8(or possibly even season 9) the last one I can see writers, Tim and abc making Buck's endgame with Tommy so he will be ending show in good serious relationships he always craved. If season 8/9 is the last one(especially 8), I really see narratively bucktommy makes more sense especially for ga, who don't ship buddie and is ok with bucktommy, and with all growing bucktommy shippers amount. Also with really interesting interviews of Lou and Tim implying Tommy can stay for really long time and with 911abc ig official account following Lou just some days ago(but not Mar's actress), I suspect they want him in season 8 at least
Tim said that they want to make good story, not try to make story which doesn't go good, so if Buddie is in the possible cards, they wouldn't rush it
If we have season 9, at least, and even season 10, then I can see Buck and Tommy break up somewhere in season 8 (😭😭😭 most likely after half a season when we will def know about if it will be the last season or not) then I can see season 9 being pre-buddie where they are having oh moments and mutual pining and season 9 ending with them going canon. And then season 10 is them making relationships work. Then if we have more seasons they most likely stay together

Epilogue New York, NY Four months later  FROM SCREEN TO THE PAGE TO THE BROADWAY STAGE, ALEX CLAREMONT-DIAZ PROVES HE HAS THE RANGE! Vulture excerpt The Crescent Valley star’s memoir, The ABC’s of ACD, debuted at number four on the New York Times bestsellers list. With an honest look at his start in Hollywood with the role that launched him into the public eye, Claremont-Diaz’s memoir has since been dubbed a must-read for fans of the hit show and beyond. Revered for its sheer candor and care as he opens up about his sexuality, Claremont-Diaz’s memoir has struck a chord with many in the LGBTQIA+ community. Claremont-Diaz received an overwhelming show of support online from fans, many of whom have shared personal testimony that the actor’s coming out inspired them to do the same with their loved ones. It’s an honor Claremont-Diaz doesn’t take lightly.
“From the outset when dreaming about putting my story out there, I always hoped to touch at least one person, as cheesy or cliche as that might sound.. To make that kind of connection, to show them that they aren’t alone, that what they’re feeling is not only valid, but that their truth is worth living? That’s everything. Every single comment online or message that I get from someone in a similar situation feels like armor each day. I carry that with me.”
Following a two-week tour for the book’s promotions, there are no signs of Claremont-Diaz slowing down. The actor is now gearing up to add another first on his resumé.
As mentioned in his book and previous interviews, Claremont-Diaz once did stagework as a child in Austin. These days, however, he’s finding the scale just a tad bit bigger.
“Stage was one of my first loves. It feels right to be returning to it. I couldn’t have guessed it’d be in such a major way though. Broadway,” the actor said, a clear wonder in his voice. “It’s so surreal. I still can’t believe it’s happening. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to make sense of that.”
According to sources, the bright lights of the Great White Way aren't the only thing calling Claremont-Diaz to New York City.
When asked about sightings of him with boyfriend writer Henry Fox around the Big Apple as he prepares for opening night, Claremont-Diaz only offered his signature smirk and kept tight-lipped on any details of how the two met. Though the timeline is unclear of when they initially crossed paths, one thing is for certain: They appear to be in it for the long haul.
Claremont-Diaz has been an outspoken advocate for Fox’s debut novel which is set for release next spring.
With his focus now set on embarking on a new chapter in his career, Claremont-Diaz seems assured about the road ahead, even as he settles into a brand new city in order to complete his show run.
“New York is the place I need to be right now,” he replied simply. “Everything I love most in the world can be found right here. I couldn’t ask for anything more than this.”

Fuck-it Friday
OMG GUYS HAS IT BEEN A DAY and ITS STILL FRIDAY! And I know I'm late this evening and here is a short run down why: Had to pack for three people and my dogs for a short family trip this weekend, had to get gas and air up the stroller tires, had to pick up the kid then head off on a 2 hr 45 minutes drive, kid pukes all over self making drive over 3 hours, finally arrive to destination before heading back out to keep a promise to my sister, make it back to original destination to make dinner at 8 PM! Have to walk dogs because were not home with the big back yard and then I finally get to sit down. To top it off, no wifi, just the hotspot on my phone so desktop tumblr is kinda slow.... So yea, it has been a day and its still not over. Fuck this Friday lol
So thank you all who have tagged me! @watchyourbuck, @jesuisici33, @spotsandsocks, @diazblunt, @disasterbuckdiaz, and @wikiangela It took time but I saw all your wonderful posts for today!
Special shoutout to @ladydorian05 for shouting me out today! Special tag for you for todays NFL Buck post!
Alright, here is another fakestagram post with an itty bitty snippet to go along with it. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
Hen looks over at her best friend, smiling cheekily at his own phone. "Really Chimney?" she asks in disdain. Chimney just shrugs, "He hasn't minded since that whole late night sit down you two had. In fact I think its some sort of secret kink for him. I told you about the roll of monopoly money a few weeks ago and the sly smile that he thought I didn't see." "Okay. Ew. I don't need to know anyone else's kinks besides my wife's." "Well me neither, but at the same time kind of nice to know Diaz isn't the well pressed, one position, solider boy." Chim points out. "Thought you knew that weeks ago after I caught him sexting, twice!" Hen reminds. Chimney waves his hand around, "That was his boyfriend sexting him and Bobby warned us off before we could prod him any further." His phone pings with a new message. A quick glance and his entire face furrowed in irritation, "Ass." Hen leans forward, curious, "Who is it?" "Eddie." Chimney bemoans, "Thanked me for the birthday wishes along with a picture of his private cabana on the beach." Another new message comes in, "Enjoying the perks of being a sugar Diaz. I know you wish you were here." He reads aloud then throws his head with a loud groan of annoyance. And Hen just laughs. Its what Howard deserves.
Hope you enjoyed! If anyone wants to see more posts from NFL Buck just search under the nfl tag on my page. Happy very late Friday!
