Hayyyy pookie!
It's ur Paul dano lover!!
This isn't very database related but more so an opinion!
I wanna make a subtle therian candle set! I just need 2 more animals (even though it's bad to be "generic" I do need 2 more animals and want them sorta generic for a therian!)
My two first ideas for this four candles candle set is:
Like a wolf: woodsy, line, tree
Like a fox: light bakery scent, maybe cinnamon-y?
(Logo will have a consistent wood bg with text saying: "LIKE A" at the top and then at the bottom the scent "fox" or "wolf" with the animal of that scent!)
I am gonna list scents I have so you can brainstorm bc ik ur good at it!
Nature sents (wood/forest and rainbow)
Fruit scents (guava, pear, apple strawberry, cucumber, etc)
Bakery scents (coming in today Aug 16th! Will dm u)
Beach/coast scents (also coming in today and will dm u!)
Srry this is so long! Luv uuuu!!
Hi pookie!!!!!
All I can think is wtf does a rainbow smell like???
Anyways here's some ideas:
Like a sloth: tropical, fruity scents, with some woodsy ones mixed in? (Guava, strawberry, cucumber, wood/forest)
Like a cat: probably bakery vibes, some woodsy scents, def feeling like a honey scent would go well! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
Like a shark: beach vibes!! Salty, fresh scents that make you feel like ur underwater! Maybe some cucumber in there?
Like a dragon: campfire scents, anything that feels spicy, like nutmeg or cinnamon scented candles, and wood/forest :3
Like a bear: woodsy scents, maybe a salty beachy scent, some bakery scents!
Anyways love you pookie!!!!
P.S.
You need a new personality. Ik Paul dano is hot but please post smth else (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`)

6/ What are the things that make you most comfortable and euphoric in your alterhumanity?
7/ Are you experiencing species dysphoria?
8/ What advice would you like to say to a young alterhuman who has just awakened?
9/ Do you have/want to have gears?
10/ Do you know/have any theories about the origin of your alterhumanity? If so, tell us! (all beliefs are legitimate)
11/ Tag someone/a creature to answer these questions!ㅤᵕ̈

I would like to offer this resource for therians, an extensive list of all of Sir David Attenborough’s nature documentaries that are available on soap2day, and a full list of what species* they each (notably, prominently) feature the natural behaviors of, separated by episode, and omitting species that were only shown dead, juvenile or being predated on. This took me a while (I have been working on it since Prehistoric Planet’s release) because I did in fact have to watch every single series in full in order to list all the species and the episodes are around 50 minutes long, but enjoy.
Long post ahead:
Most of these shows have closed captioning, which is why I’ve picked soap2day. Planet Earth is the only one that doesn’t. I did not include Dynasties and Dynasties II because each episode only features one species.
Thank you to Birch (@ambiguousmutt) for his help (he watched about half of the episodes) so I didn’t have to do it individually. Credit goes to him as well.
*Sometimes Attenborough doesn’t say the specific species and I was too busy trying to get through the episodes to identify it. In those cases I just put the most specific name I could.

How would the bear transients react if mc5 suddenly became a bear?
Beary Well Then
With Ashigara
~Ashigara laughed wholeheartedly at seeing you had become a Bear Therian much like the others that have been around. You may not have been exactly like him, but he felt a connection with you. “I always knew there was something about you I really really liked!” That wasn’t quite the reassurance you needed right now. “Aww c’mon, don’t pout like that!” He pleaded. “Bear pals stick together! Through thick and thin I got your back I promise! Just… let’s be together like this for a little while, okay? Please!?”
With Tsathoggua (yes he counts dang it, go look at a sloth bear)
~“Huuuuh…?” Tsathoggua gawked at you as you came seeking his aid to try and understand how you could have become a bear. However, his devious smirk had different ideas in mind. “Saaay, how soft is your fur?” You immediately regretted coming to Tsathoggua and tried to flee. However despite his size Tsathoggua moved with incredible speed and was easily upon you. You pleaded with him to at least be gentle and before you knew it he was feeling up your fur. “Your fur is soooo soft~” He teased smugly. “I like petting your fur very muuuch~!” You laughed hard because it tickled while with bated breath begged him to stop. “Nuh uh, this is payback.” He stated simply. “And you’ve got a lot of paying up to do with this new fur.”
With Leib
~You came to Leib since he was a doctor and studying the anatomy of Transients was one of the tasks he was assigned with and you asked him to take a good look at you. “A complete transformation…” He muttered. “Almost like a werewolf… a werebear perhaps?” He laughed. This wasn’t something that was all that funny, you were admittedly terrified of the idea of being stuck this way. “Alright, alright don’t get your panties in a twist. You seem healthy if you’re this whiny…” Leib went on. “But still, I’ll have the lab conduct some tests on you if you’d like, just to be sure this is totally normal.” That’s a relief… wait, was there a chance you weren’t fine after all!?
With Volos
~Volos gave you a confused look. “Is it really you, or are you just joshing me?” You defiantly shouted that it was indeed you and how dare he doubt you. How long have you known each other for him to doubt you like this? “Okay I understand… If we’re being completely honest, how do you think I could help…? Oh, maybe it was something you ate? I’ve heard that other worlds have different kinds of vegetation than here in Tokyo. Perhaps some food grown here will change you back! Would you want me to make you something?”
With Jambavan
~Leib just dumped you and your studies onto Jambavan, which he was more than happy to help with since it involved you. Jambavan was pleasantly surprised with your new body. “Oh my…” You explained that you had just woken up like this and you felt totally natural despite a bear’s body not really being your own. “Hmm, that is unusual. Normally when transformations happen they’re voluntary… Perhaps you did it in your sleep you might be able to change yourself back?” Jambavan suggested. You’ve been trying mind tricks all day and it’s yielded no results. “Maybe you’re just missing something to trigger the transformation. But don’t worry, I’m here with you every step of the way.”
With Barguest
~You really needed someone to comfort you… “So you came to me…?” Barguest asked with confusion. “I’m the last thing to comforting…” Well you’d disagree. You always saw him and how he treats Kenta and figured he might provide some form of solace. “I’m the last guy you want for that kind of stuff!” He gasped with surprise. “The least you could do is not hold me so tight…” He patted your head as you latched onto him like crazy. “Yeesh, what am I gonna do with you now if you’re gonna act as bad as the other one…?”
With Alp
~“That’s pretty sick you know!” Alp said rather happy with your current state. “Kinda reminds me of something I did once- I mean uh...” Alp coughed into his hand a few times and you gave him a bit of a glare. Just what was he trying to go off about? “N-Nothing!” He suddenly snapped. “It’s just cool you’re a bear now, okay!?” O-Okay...? You just weren’t sure how to read his feelings right now.

wanna kno somethin fun?
I am a sloth bear therian and sometimes I get dental phantom shifts the reason this is interesting is because they don’t have their front 2 teeth, so sometimes I just forget that I have front teeth and I eat food thinking they arent there, just to smash my bottom front teeth into my top ones. It hurts like hell but i think its funny.

1. Otherkin / fictionkin! Technically I fall under therian but I prefer otherkin (I also like just alterhuman or nonhuman too)
2. Too many to name all so I'll do a rundown of my otherkin types; Vampire, 2 demons, angel, fairy, wolf, 2 dragons, snake (currently unknown kind), sloth bear, Indrid Cold (CW: creepy smiles, if you look it up), Shadow person, android, glitch, Wolf Deer, Dunkleosteus, Hellhound, Karmic Deity, Possessed Doll and considering Red panda, Fox and racoon
3. My current common shifts: Mind, Soul, Cyrus. The only cameo shifts I've noticed so far have been Arlo (Pokémon go) and The Joker (from the movie Joker 😅)
4. Lots of phantom limbs, sensations, change of attitude / speech patterns, change of 'typing voice' for lack of a better term
5. Seems pretty cool here on Tumblr! Kin Instagram wasn't great tbh, hell of a lot less judgement about kin list length and neopronouns and such
6. Seeing other people sharing their experiences! And also knowing that I'm not alone in this :>
7. I don't think I do? I do miss having wings and animal ears etc though
8. Take your time and have fun with your identity, no point stressing yourself out unnecessarily
9. I have a black fluffy tail but I don't really like wearing it (plus it has negative feelings attached BC of the person who gave it me)
10. For me it's heavily rooted in past lives but I can imagine neurodivergence also pushes me further into nonhumanity bc of a disconnected feeling to humanity (dissociation, derealization and depersonalisation also contributes, thanks brain very cool!)
11. I.. have no one to tag lmao, if anyone sees this feel free to join in ^•^
If you are a alterhuman, reblog and answer these questions!
(don't be afraid to write a lot, do what you want ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
1/ Which category of alterhumanity do you belong to?
2/ What/who is/are your type(s)? (if you have any)
3/ Do you experience shifts? If so, can you tell us your most common shifts and your strangest cameo shift (if you've ever had a cameo shift)?
4/ How do you experience your alterhumanity in everyday life?
5/ What do you think of the community?
6/ What are the things that make you most comfortable and euphoric in your alterhumanity?
7/ Are you experiencing species dysphoria?
8/ What advice would you like to say to a young alterhuman who has just awakened?
9/ Do you have/want to have gears?
10/ Do you know/have any theories about the origin of your alterhumanity? If so, tell us! (all beliefs are legitimate)
11/ Tag someone/a creature to answer these questions!ㅤᵕ̈
