You two first met at Oxford and he was immediately intrigued. You shocked him when you asked what one of his wristbands meant and he answered with a pleasant smile and you retorted that you had been there before. He smiled and asked for your name which you happily obliged in giving him.

You went to a pub and saw him again and he asked where you were headed and when you answered, he huffed and insisted that you stay with him instead.

He spent the entire night holding you by the small of your back and being very touchy and you were giggly(whether from the alcohol or his intoxicating energy still leaves something to be desired).

Felix walked you back to your dorm where you couldn’t stop thinking about him.

He was spotted by you in the library and he struck up a conversation about where you are from and your hobbies:

“A pretty girl like you must be from somewhere special”-he said

“Oh! No, I’m just from(enter state or city here)”- your ears fell hot and you felt yourself melt into his gaze.

“Ahhhh I think I’ve heard of that place before” even when he hasn’t

“Oh haha yeah. So what about you?” You chuckled, picking up on his white lie.

“Oh my family just owns a house in Saltburn, have you heard of it? It’s kind of small” he said modestly

“No sorry. I don’t know much about the UK besides the Beetles” you laughed

Felix chuckled at this and he found your naivety cute and endearing

He introduced you to most of the things in the UK and over time, you started getting closer

Actual headcanons:

-Spoils you relentlessly and doesn’t understand the concept of not doing so. To him, you’re a princess and you deserve to be treated so.

-His friends don’t like you because you aren’t wealthy(unless you are, slay queen or king) but Felix doesn’t care.

-Asks you if you want to smoke and accepts when you say no

-Has fluffy hair and mewls when you run your hands through it

-Kisses you when you wake up and when you try to push him off of you, he just grabs your hands and kisses them too.

-Makes you look like a ragdoll(and throws you around like one too ;)

-Loves picking you up and spinning you around while kissing you

-Doesn’t understand the concept of personal space when it comes to you but fully expects you to give him space when he needs it

-Loves to hold your hand and play with your fingers while making comments about how small you are compared to him

Ocean's 8 ANALYSIS [1/?] : MET GALA DRESS RANKING

I have watched Ocean's 8 and I have THOUGHTS so letss gooooo This is going to be in a number of parts becuse ahhhh this is gonna be long probably

Let's start with my ranking of the Met Gala looks because AHHHHH i need to get this out of my braiiinnnn (and it's also proabbaly the lightest topic, so!)

The important thing to remember about our O8 ladies is that a. they slay b. they are pulling a heist, so why they need to be glamerous enough to fit in, they also need to avoid standing out. My ranking will be based upon the very subjective scale of "how pretty i think it is" with notes about how this relates to the heist etc

Going from best to worst, first up ---

9Ball aka Rihanna wearing TF out of this simple yet elegetn dress. It's very no nonsense, luxurious but simple.

When I tell you I GASPED when she got out of the van wearing this... Bro. Unmatched. The silluate and fit are perfect and this red was MADE for her, I swear.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.

You can be a party pooper and say that despite its simplicity it's still to fancy and tight for a character like 9Ball who, tbh, didn't need to go to the gala anyway (being the hacker and off site by design). To that I say that we deserve to see Rihanna kill it going down the stairs like she owns the place which, if we're honest, she proabbaly does.

I love this dress so fucking much it's so simple yet such a perfect freaking fit. Love it.

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss hell yes.

Lou kills it with a suit that perfectly encapsulate her 'muscline' and edgy look throughout the film, just all glammed up. The color, the sparkle, that cheeky cleavage showing the jewl, omg. I want the entire wardrobe of Kate Blanche in this movie and her look was no dissapointment.

The thing that trips me a little bit, though, is that she wasn't filmed in the gala like the rest of the squad, and we only get to see her wearing this on the street, walking to Debbie, and I stg I thoguht she litterally wore this on the street and was like ???? But that was O K. and you know why? Cause she did it for the vibs and the WLWs and that's ok by meee.

The woman of the hour, Daphn Klueger aka Anne Hathaway.

It's lovely - I'm actually a little bit obssssed because I love a good cape and this is a GREAT cape, and whil striking it's not overbaring and works weell with th straplss dress to showcase th neckless.

This one is interesting bcausee it was designed, in univrse, to stand out and follow the gala theme (european royalty) and I actually feel that in universe she was proabably one of the 'adaquate, but not wow' persons of the night and the interenet probabaly chewed her off for not going all the way with the theme butttt

This is a movie, not real life, and the purpose of this outfit was to highlight the Necklace aka the target aka the focus point for the movie, which it did (as I say, it frames it perfectly) and it is a decent enough nod to the theme for me to belive this is a legit met gala outfit someone would wear.

My only issue is this color. I DON'T like it, not for this. A rich (royal) blue would have looked much better imo (and might have been a node to princess Diana famous ring if we go all big brain about it). I think the color was chosen to make Daphne stick out over the viewers and grab our focus (which was her role in the plot, tbh), so I get it - even if I don't like it.

Ok, love this. Amita - aka Mindy Kaling - suntring down the stairs in a look that is, literally, pure gold.

Love. Love. LOVE the sleeves, the ornament heavy on top, and the way the fabric drapes. She looks fantastic and this is definetally her kind of gold. The golden dress also gets extra points because I think that its good for hiest reasons - if you see her in passing and don't know who she is, you will rememebr the dress more than the person becasue it's so sparkly. I also like her hair in this, It feels nicely done but reasonable, considering she had to move from her kitchen worker costum to this in very short time.

A stong yet not overwheleming look from our woman on the inside, Tammy aka Sarah Pualson. She is the event orgnizers and therefore went with the (releteively) modest black on black look which fits in with the servers outfits and I personally really like.

I think it also works for Tammy as a person - it's not revealing, the puff sleeves make gives her broad sholders (cause she's a strong woman, lol) and It does look practicle for a woman who will probabaly be up on her feet all night, making sure things run smoothly - both in the heist and the actual gala.

My only issue? It looks CRUNCHY. It's one of those fabric that would either crumble or cut my hands if I try to squeeze it. Pretty spooky.

Debbi Ocean aka Sandra Bullock in this look that I'd call sufficiant - mfancy enough for the gala but underwhelming overall --- which is exactly the point of a heist disguise. She doesn't stand out and most people will probabaly forget she was even there.

The reason it's so low on the list is because I just.... don't like it very much. I think it's the gold-on-black color scheme, which I'm not a huge fan of, personally.

I WILL SAY that it works well with her wig which is practically the color of the embelishments and thus kinda mix the entire look togther in a fitting yet unimpressiv blob, a perfect costume for the heist.

Also I get a kick out of her being the only one wearing a wig, an extra con for our head conwoman.

It's not that I don't like this dress - I HATE it. I get that Rose is a once-legendary-now-flop in universe but comon, Helena Boham Carter deserved better than this.

It's doing so much, gives so little, and is just MESSY. The tacky print. THe flower embelishment. The unclear folds (?) around the chest UNDER the tacky print. WHY.

Though the biggest offendrs are the accessories. What in the mid 2010's is those stupid sunglasses - which, now that I look at them, might have been decent if not for that stupid giant hairpeice of mounted crap.

Rose Wile consisently gets the worst costumes in this movie and I just. Don't. Get it. This is the worse one though, by far.

Ok, but why do this to my girl Constanse (aka Awkwafina).

I have a personal hatred to those hotdog looking dresses with the nude mesh and those applique looking embelishment. Why not give her a suit, as well? She was wearing shirt+pants street style the entire movie, why torture hr lik this?

I hate it, but I do love the way she's wearing it, with he heels (who gave her HEELS?) in her hands and the IM DONE look on her face.

I do wonder how they glammed up her hair so fast, though. Weren't they on a tight heist schedual? Is this some secret thief trick? If so, where I can I learn it???

You turned over in your bed for the nth time that night. Something just wasn’t fitting right with you. The bed you were sleeping in was big enough for a family, the sheets were soft, the pillow was fluffy, servants were on standby if you needed something, water and snacks were on your bedside if you ever got hungry. So why couldn’t you fall asleep? You huffed, turning back over to try to get comfortable. There are times when you feel like you’re almost about to fall into a deep sleep and something just wakes you back up, making you wait for that long-awaited slumber.

After coming back to the palace from your long excursion, you were back to sleeping in separate bedrooms. Maybe that was why you couldn’t sleep. But it couldn’t be. You only slept with him a handful of times and all those times were purely accidental. You tried to find so many excuses so that wasn’t the case, but it actually might.

Bakugou groaned and plopped into bed. Why wasn’t he sleeping this late at night? This wasn’t normal. He was used to knocking out as soon as he touched his pillow but something was keeping him from doing just that.

He thought, no way. It couldn’t be because you weren’t here. The only reason he kept you in a different room from his is because you were a stranger at first. This marriage was only supposed to be a transactional trade: the princess would become a queen and Bakugou could rule both lands. He never expected to fall this deep for you, let alone fall for you at all.

Your room was right across the hall. Only a few steps away. Nothing was stopping him from going over to you this very moment. What if you didn’t want to see him? Then he would look foolish if he wanted to be with you but not the other way around. He didn’t want to look too desperate… fuck it. He could make up an excuse if he had to.

Jumping to his feet and swiftly removing himself from his sheets, he headed towards the door to go see you. What he didn’t know was that you were going to do the same thing. After a good minute of arguing to yourself, you grabbed a pillow and headed to his quarters.

You took a deep breath. You were standing right in front of his door, but now you started getting second thoughts. What if he didn’t want to see you? What if he was already sleeping? Then you’d be disturbing him and be troublesome. You’ve already gotten this far already, there was no point in turning back now. Right before you were about to put your hand on the handle, the door swung open, revealing wide-eyed Bakugou in your presence.

“Princess…” Bakugou choked on his words. He was surprised to see you already standing in front of his door. Had you been standing there long? But what was making him flustered was the fact that you held a large pillow in front of you, looking up at him with wide, yet cute eyes of yours. You were the definition of adorable in that moment and honestly, Bakugou didn’t know what to do with himself.

“W-What are y-you do-doing here,” Bakugou stuttered over his words.

“I couldn’t sleep,” you admit, looking down shyly.

“I couldn’t either,” Bakugou also confessed. Awkward silence. It was only because both of you didn’t want to admit or say the real reason why you came to each other.

You were already in front of him, you couldn’t back out now. It would just be embarrassing if you just made a dumb excuse, only to go back to your room and then all would be for naught. Taking a deep breath and closing your eyes to prepare yourself for the worst, you blurted out the question that burned deep inside your heart.

“Can I sleep with you?”

“Will you sleep with me?” you both asked at the same time. Your eyes shot wide open and immediately looked up to see Bakugou with sincere in his eyes. A slight blush of embarrassment dusted his cheeks but wouldn’t – couldn’t – take his eyes off you.

“Yes.”

“Yes,” you both blurted out. The air between you was tense with desire for each other, so much so that if you didn’t look away, you would be sucked into those crimson eyes for a lifetime. Cutting the atmosphere abruptly, you cleared your throat and walked passed him in his room.

“So this is what the Great Blood Prince’s room looks like,” you joked, taking a look around the room. Nothing like what you had imagined. The red theme was expected but you weren’t expecting such a plain looking room. Nothing but a bed against the wall, a furniture here and there and a couple paintings on the wall. But still luxurious.

“Cozy,” you noted, turning around to say something else, but you were met with a powerful presence, Bakugou taking a step too close to you. You sharply gasped, your eyes automatically wanting to close shut to take him all in.

Something overcame Bakugou in that moment. Seeing you in his room. After hours. Nothing but a pillow and your silky nightgown. It was doing something to him and he couldn’t control this overwhelming feeling of want. He wanted you.

Your noses were practically touching, his lips just inches away from yours. Your heart pounded in your chest as you let out shaky breaths. Bakugou slowly wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you close. You were about to close your eyes and submit to his touch but suddenly, the image of the princess’ face popped in your mind. You placed a hand on his chest, stopping your movements and his all together.

“What’s wrong?” Bakugou sounded so hurt by your abrupt actions.

“Sleepy,” you lied, quickly turning around and jumped into his bed, huddling under the sheets. Bakugou stood where he was, letting out a sigh of frustration. But the moment he looked at you and how comfortable you looked in his bed, all signs of frustration and disappointment disappeared. He wasn’t going to let this small rejection ruin his mood. He joined you in bed but you both kept to your side of the bed.

You couldn’t do it. You felt so guilty. Sure, you said that you were going to take the real princess’ spot. He doesn’t have to know that you aren’t the real princess, because once you became queen, she can’t touch you. But hiding these lies wasn’t like you. That’s not who you were. And so this lie was eating you alive. You had to tell him. But when?

You were up all night thinking about it. Talk about getting a good night’s rest. You thought having the prince by your side would help your restlessness, but now a new problem arose. The guilt wouldn’t stop eating at you, causing you to continue to stay up.

You felt a strong hold wrap around your waist and a warm body right up against your back. The male behind you exhaled, resting his forehead against your shoulder.

“Can’t sleep?” he spoke up.

“You could tell?” you asked, not surprised that you got caught.

“It’s hard not to when you keep changing positions” he chuckles in your ear. His light hearted laugh made you relax a bit.

“Tell me,” Bakugou started. “Do you still want to become my queen?”

“Of course. There’s no doubt in my mind,” you didn’t hesitate to answer.

“Even if it means that you’ll forever be bound to the infamous, killer Blood Prince?” You turned over to him and looked him dead in the eye.

“Even if it means that,” you whispered seriously. Now it was your turn to ask questions. “Now tell me, oh Prince. Why do you want to marry this princess?” you ask.

“Because. You’re kind, sweet, innocent. I need a queen like you to rule by my side so I can change my image as the Blood Prince,” he said. Now this was news to you.

“Change? I guess you are very different from your brothers…” you mumble.

“All because of those rumors. They aren’t entirely wrong though. My brothers and I are known for being ruthless. But I’m tired of keeping up this act of being angry and vicious all the time. I’ll slay anyone if I have to, but I’ve killed too many innocent people, just because I was ordered to. When I become King, I want to change the legend of the Bakugou family, that we’re not all killing monsters. I need a queen like you to help me find my way. I fight the way I do to keep my people safe, to save those in poverty and those who are homeless so they aren’t attacked by bandits. It needs to change and that change starts with me. You’ll help me right?” he looked at you willfully.

“I wouldn’t want it any other way,” you reassured him. For the first time, Bakugou deliberately smiles at you, a face you’ve only seen him make when he’s with his soldiers. He pulls you in, resting his chin on top of your head.

“Let’s sleep,” he ordered and you finally fell asleep in his arms.

The next couple days, you were busy helping prepare decorations for the upcoming ball the King was hosting in celebration of your engagement together. Bakugou, on the other hand, was too busy patrolling and doing princely stuff, that you had no idea what that was, that you barely saw him those couple days. You could see him at night, where you sleep over in his room, but by the time Bakugou comes back from his duties, you were already in dreamland.

Thankfully, you had company. You created a bond with the servant girls that are constantly with you every single day. After all, you were a servant girl who was pretending to be a princess, so it was a piece of cake talking to them. They were telling you all the gossip and even helping you with the ball since you were so bored doing nothing all day. Flowers were already picked out, food already decided, your dress was being custom made, guests were on their way here, decorations were being put up in the ballroom.

There were times when you and Bakugou would cross paths in the palace. The prince was busy walking with generals when passing by with your girls. You bit your lip in excitement but decided not to say anything since they were in deep conversation with each other. Yet, your eyes never left him, mesmerized by this working state. You thought Bakugou would be too busy to even notice you. Oh, no. When you came into his peripheral vision, he noticed your beauty right away. Though, he kept his eyes with the generals. When you got closer, that’s when he took a peek at you and seeing your excited face got him all giddy. He smirked at your cute expression when you passed and you didn’t miss that curl of his lips. Bakugou continued to walk off with the generals and your girls all squealed, hitting you in excitement.

During your down times, which was often, you came to the conclusion that you were going to study and read books to help you become a better Queen. The real princess had all her life to study and perfect her skills as a princess. Even though she was lazy and lacked a lot of those skills, you were just beginning and couldn’t compare to her level. You had to get to it if you were going to rule the kingdom by Bakugou’s side. Of course, you also had to keep it on the downlow so that no one becomes suspicious of you for learning the basics.

You picked up one book – a poetry book and read up on the classics. You were immersed by how lovely every line was, how beautiful the stories were written. You could see the love story translate into a movie across the page. But there was one part in the story that had you pay close attention to.

The beautiful scenery was enough to last them a lifetime of happiness

Tears welled in your eyes. Did you read that correctly? And did you remember correctly? Had Bakugou said that phrase to you one time? But what does that mean? Does that mean… impossible. It was probably only pure coincidence that he said that. There’s no way that he… right?

The usual reaction would that you would be over the moon. That would mean that you two share the same feelings for each other. But instead of feeling ecstatic, the guilt was eating at you even more.

Of course you were excited to see him every time he came home, when he got the chance. And he would spend every free moment with you. He’d tell you about his adventures outside the palace, what he did that day, his plans for when he becomes King, and much, much more. He never failed to initiate some form of contact with you, whether it be linking pinkies when taking a stroll or placing a hand on your lower back when talking to others. But because you couldn’t free your mind from this guilt, you were rejecting each and every one of his advancements.

This makes Bakugou frown. He keeps trying, thinking that maybe he was misunderstanding something or reading the situation wrong but you keep denying him.

Enough was enough.

You had just send your servants away, walking down the long hallway to get back to your room to rest. That is, until a hand comes out of nowhere, and pulls you into another hallway – a short, more narrow hallway that gives you a tight squeeze with two people. Bakugou trapped you between him and the wall, arms on either side of you.

“Your highness!” you exclaimed when you saw it was him. But he didn’t look too happy.

“What gives?” he asks, frowning at you. His expression reminded you of the time you first met him.

“What do you mean?” you asked, confused.

“Don’t play dumb with me. If you dislike me, just say it,” he said. But he was making things even more confusing for you.

“Why would you think that?”

“You’ve been avoiding me. Every time I try to be intimate with you, you reject me. Is it because we aren’t married yet? Or is it because you don’t have any interest in me?” he asks you.

“It’s not because of that at all!” you panicked, putting your hands up in defense. “I’ve never done this before, so I’m not sure what to do… and well, that’s actually something I need to tell-”

“Prove it,” Bakugou interrupts you.

“Huh?” your mind ran a blank all of a sudden, completely forgetting what you were supposed to say.

“You really don’t dislike me? Prove it,” he challenged. You stared up at his eyes and they were filled with hurt, confusion, betrayal, hope. You caused that. No, no. That’s not what you wanted. Without hesitation, you said with your heart and soul,

“The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?”

Bakugou had heard enough. He cupped both cheeks and smashed his lips into yours in a powerful, yet passionate kiss. Fireworks were going off in your head and your heart was beating like you had just ran a race. The feeling of content and love was overpowering your senses. It felt warm and comforting and you didn’t want to let this feeling go. Ever. Bakugou disconnected from you first, allowing both of you to catch your breaths.

✨☀️ my heart & soul are so full.

This was truly the best experience of my life. Envision is something else. I danced and sweat out every negative energy that I had stored away before I came here. I feel like a new person..

🌊 I loved the whole vibe of the Uvita area. Everyone was so nice. I've missed the salty air in my hair and on my lips. Being surrounded by the jungle and the ocean is a euphoric feeling. 🐟 I ate a lot of good fish outside the festival and I am definitely missing it. I loved the fresh fruits and coconuts everywhere 🥥🌴🍍🍌🍓

🏕️ our air b&b was just a couple minutes away from the festival and our host Jose was the nicest human ever. He was constantly making sure everything was perfect for us and coming back to get sleep in the ac was prime. I'm very glad we did that. Cabinas yuriel 💛💚❤️☁️

🐳 we went on a whale watching tour and we're blessed to see a male and a mama and her baby playing around! Humpback whales are my flavorite animal and I haven't seen them since I was in Hawaii so it was an epic treat.

🌄Then Dan and I watched our last Costa Rican sunset for the trip and took a nice stroll home. On the way we saw a sloth in the tree, a crazy poisonous snake and a gnarly looking centipede. 🐍🌙

I have fallen in love with envision and everything it stands for and for the beautiful country of Costa Rica. I will be back there's no doubt about that. I want to explore everything. 🔥 the sunset and fire spinners on the beach with the drum circle. I had hoped to spin some fire down there but I'll be a little more prepared next time.. you walk up the path onto the beach and you are met with various vendors with cool bones and jewelery, cheap beer and food as you emerge into a sea of people on the sand. The sky was on fire and the vibes were hiiiigh. The drum circle was tribal and euphoric. Looking around me being surrounded by jungle and ocean and beautiful people was straight bliss.

🍄 seeing Paul staments talk about mushrooms. I only caught one but it was so cool to hear him share his stories and experiences with us.

🍽️💦the dishcoteque

The waste at this festival was pretty much non existent. It always makes me sad how people can leave a place so destroyed and covered in trash. I had to pick up no trash from the ground and all the volunteers who were picking up trash barely had anything in their buckets. When you got food at any vendor here you received an actual dish, bowl, silverware or cup. When you were done you'd bring it to the "dishcoteque" and recieve a voucher for your next one. No plastic at all barely any paper products besides some paper straws .. the bathrooms also did not have toilet paper in them.. you had to get it from the outside and bring it with you so they were not overflowing with paper and and overuse of products.

✨🎨✨ the art & the stages

There was so much phenomenal art. I was blown away by the murals everywhere and the art gallery was bursting with talent and creative energy.

The bars and booths were all made from the materials surrounding them. Everything was made from the earth. The Sol stage was surrounded by a beautiful design with a big screen in the back that had really awesome visuals on it

The lapa stage was filled with house n deep techno vibes all day and night. It felt like something out of an epic movie in there with all the mist and the lights. The entrance to the beach was right there too. It was a great place to go to just dance and chill out.  And finally... The Luna stage. W o w. The most incredible stage I've EVER seen in my life and I've seen quite a few cool stage setups. It was a huge tower of Earth and wood and vines and beauty. There was a portal where people danced behind. The lighting was a1 from the lasers to the mapping on the funktions. It was truly other worldly there.  I will be riding the high of that stage for a long time. There was water refill stations in all the right spots which made staying hydrated in the jungle heat so easy.

🌮🍓🍦🥑🥙 the food

It's usually hard for me to eat at festivals lately because I don't eat meat anymore. Chicken fingers was always a go to for me but I've sadly become very picky. Everyone was pretty accommodating to my needs ( I wish I thought about asking for no cilantro before the last day 😞 I hate that shit )and everything was so nourishing and healthy. I have not been eating well lately and I feel so nice and full after all the smoothies and juicy goodness I ingested over the weekend.

🕷️ the huge tarantula like spider that happened to wander through the crowd of people dancing with the bass vibrating the floor and onto our blanket. It was SO BIG how did you even make it through the crowd?! Stealthy dude. That was wild.

☕🍵The tea party!

I went to the bathroom and I came across a tiny but huge tea party. Everyone had tea cups along a very small rectangle table/stool and they were singing jungle tea time jungle tea time and cheersing to life it was so cute

🎭🤸‍♀️🔥💃 the performers...

Wow. I haven't seen performances like that ever. Every collective blew my mind they all had a vibe of their own and absolutely slayed it on stage. Serious inspiration

Every set was so good. Nothing was like oh that was cool .. everything i was was so we'll put together and everyone definitely out out jungle vibes.

👽 Tipper 👽

This was my 30th show.. in the jungle...and the Luna stage couldn't have been any better. He played so many fat unreleased tracks and vips I have never heard before. Serious deep jungle vibes. I can honestly say that was my flave set I've seen by him so far. There were no visuals but I was so okay with that. the lights were so on point and the performers were so freaking good and well paired with what he was putting out. I am sooooo freaking thankful for that experience and to have had it with all my tipper family. This community has Brought me all over the country and now out of the US. I am constantly overstimulated and it's just getting more intense as I get older so traveling can be difficult for me. The high energy if the airport is a lot for me. Music festivals are even a lot for me but I eventually get comfortable..I just love the epic moments of euphoria through music and these experiences that I'll push myself through the rest of it. The way tippers music makes me feel is so worth trooping through a sea of energies to get to that moment. It's truly beautiful for me and I know others feel the same. Blessed to be alive for the making of tipper music

✨ the first real full set of music we saw was jpod.. someone ive never listened to and I'm so glad I know about him now. It was so fun I found all my friends and it was the perfect way to kick off the weekend.

✨Naughty princess was someone I didn't know as well and she threwwwww down a dirty heavy dubstep set. It was proper as fuck and she looked like a boss in the dj booth.

✨Honerable mention to Govinda and an-ten-ae

✨🔮Clozees first set on Friday night was so surreal. Seeing her live is a true experience. It got so heavy and blissful it was by far my flavorite set I've seen from her. She's so humble and cute and beyond excited to be doing this for us. When she plays she emmits such a powerful feminine vibe. The high that gave me was super intense.

✨ The funk hunters played two sets. The but their Saturday night set on the Luna stage was so fire. They're so fun and energetic

✨LAZY SYRUP ORCHESTRA...... If you don't know them please go listen to their sets on SoundCloud. The sun had risen and the people were vibin.. 6am set - ???? It was so freaking good ahhhh words can't even decribes

They're all so talented I want to return to that moment forever.

Going to the beach and jumping in the ocean after that was so freaking cooooooool.

✨ Drrtywulvs ... Wowza. That was so fun and uplifting.. all the booty shaking..I love his music and all the noises. It always makes my body move in the weirdest of ways.

✨SUPERTASK..he's one of my flavorite artists ever and he threw downnnnnnnnn such a dope set in the jungle.

✨ SOOHAN was everything I wanted. His music makes me dance in all the best ways

✨🌄 Clozees played a sunrise set @ 545 and it was beautiful. She was very downtempo and played a lot of slower vibe songs.. it was perfect and blissful.

✨ and finally emancipator. They are forever one of my flavorites. They played at 7 am and closed out the Luna stage with the most magical morning vibes. I feel like they played a lot of new music and it was a perfect way to bring down the high energy from the night

April Wrap-Up

So, I got wayyyyy more reading done this month than I thought I would since it’s finals month for those of us in university. I read a total of 26(!!!!) books this month all the while stressing the fuck out about exams and shit. You might be thinking, hey, at least it’s summer now! AHAHHAHAH yeah well my dumbass signed up for calculus and chemistry so FML. 

Also, fun fact, I discovered that Leon Kennedy from the Resident Evil franchise is my new bae and yeah basically I love him. I mean look at this face:

Hot Pterodactyl Boyfriend - Full review linked!

Mamotte! Lollipop Volume 1 -  I loved this manga as a kid and read it over and over again. I never found the following volumes (because I didn’t know what online shopping was back then… ahhhh… innocence), but I now have all seven volumes and I will read them aLL GOD DAMNIT!

Three star reads:

The Princess Diaries - Fun, quirky… just what I needed to get my mind off of the stress of finals month.

Scrooge #worstgiftever - a classic told through texts… obviously written by a person trying to hard to be shoulder- I mean hip.

A Midsummer Night #nofilter - again, another classic written in texts, obviously trying too hard. I did actually understand the actual plot though, which doesn’t usually happen when it comes to Shakespeare.

Frostbite -  I really enjoy this series, but the narrator for the audiobooks is sooooooo annoying, so that kind of ruined the parts of the books I listened to.

Vampire Academy: The Graphic Novel - I love seeing adaptations of books I read in any format. The art was nice, and it offered a nice recap of the first book.

Famous in Love -  fun, fluffy romance set in any fangirl’s dream. Read it in a day while procrastinating my studies (because fINALS ARE STRESSFUL OKAY????).

Mammote! Lollipop Volume 2 to Volume 7 - You know what? I had fun. Nothing I haven’t seen before and it’s a bit childish, but granted, the characters are around 12 years of age soooooo to be expected. Buuuuut I finally finished this series after loving it since I was 12 years old myself so partayyyyyy!

Drink, Slay, Love - didn’t go where I thought it would go, but then again, who likes predictable books? (Okay some people might) You like brutal vampires and unicorns? This book is for you.

The Darwin Awards, Vol 1: Evolution in Action - dumb ways to die, but real. I listened to it when I was studying for my genetics exam (evolution has to do with genetics I was beING A GOOD STUDENT OKAY) and it was like my very own DNA helicase (;D please tell me someone else gets this and I’m not a massive loser)

I Woke Up Dead at the Mall - so we get that whole evil step-mother and a forbidden romance arc which is a little much but fine. Meh it did it’s job and entertained me... I don’t really know what else there is to say.

My Super Sweet Sixteenth Century - although main character Cat is annoying as fuck and hates her future step mother for no reason except for the fact she’s a happy person (like bitch we get it you’re a pessimist, but don’t drag others down with you), I was entertained which is the whole point of reading for me.

Cook Country ICU: 30 Years of Unforgettable Cases and Odd Patients - so Dr. Franklin straight up admitted to unethical conduct (as if it were no big deal, which it is) that would make any scientist cringe and me veryyyyyy uncomfortable... but other than that, it was an interesting read.

Radiance and Shimmer - ghost hunting ghost? Sure, why not.

Two star reads:

YOLO Juliet - okay, well first of all, I don’t like Romeo and Juliet. I don’t appreciate the romanticizing of suicide (surprise, surprise, it’s not romantic, it’s horrible). But, at least this time around I actually understood what the hell was going on because it’s written in (try hard) text format. Still don’t like the story though.

Soulstruck - yeah... was not impressed. Main character Rachel was whinny, plain annoying and inconsiderate of those in her life. Plot? I don’t really know what it was exactly. There was a lot of filler. Anyway, took me 3ish weeks to read (maybe because of exams, maybe because it was boring) but I’m just glad it’s over.

Rash Decisions (pt.2)

Nettlestone. Barn. Interior. (Much brings over a water bucket and places it next to another near Robin, who is leaning on a post, thumb at this mouth again, thinking. The drums are beating slowly and steadily outside. Little John takes some thin poles off a rack and brings them over to Will. Robin turns, watching Little John as he passes him, and leans on the post with his arms folded. Djaq and Will are sitting side by side making arrows from the wood Little John has found. Djaq is wrapping twine around a feather at its tail; Will is sharpening a tip with his hand axe and has two feathers clamped in his teeth, sticking out of his mouth. Much watches them work for a moment, then glances at the door. He takes a deep breath, making a decision.) Much: “Right. (Takes off his coat.) John, Will, Djaq, everyone. (They all look up him, uninterested.) Get ready to run.” (Will gradually stops sharpening the arrow. Much drops his coat behind him and unbuckles his sword belt.) Djaq: “Much, what are you doing?” Much: “I’m the one who got us into this situation. I’ll be the one who’ll get us out of it. I’m gonna take a chance. I’ll go out the front… (points to the door with his sword still in its sheath)… I’ll pretend to negotiate. (Robin glances down, trying not to smile.) I’ll distract them. You make good your escape. (Drops his sword and reaches for his tag. Little John looks up at Much.) If I die… (pulls the tag off over his head and hands it to Robin)… remember me fondly.” Robin: (Takes the tag. Quietly:) “Much…” Little John: “Stop!” (Much goes to the door and Little John runs after him.) Robin: “… what are you doing?” (Much lifts the bar off the door.) Much: (Tossing it to Little John:) “Hup!” (Little John instinctively catches the bar. Much opens the door and steps out, arms outstretched.) Exterior. Much: “Don’t shoot! Don’t shoot! I’m unarmed! I’m here to surrender… and negotiate!” (Three arrows hit the door around his head. Much scrambles and falls back inside as the mercenaries all laugh heartily.) Interior. (Little John pulls the door closed and bars it. Robin, still leaning on the post and not looking at Much, calmly holds Much’s tag out in front of him. Much jumps to his feet and walks past Robin, nodding and grabbing the tag as he passes without a glance.) Much: “Thank you. (Much continues past Djaq and Will, now standing. Will still has the feathers comically poking out of his mouth. Muttering:) Horrible people. Revolting.” (Turns around and adjusts his tag round his neck. Djaq and Will exchange glances. Much lets out his breath with a quick “whoo.” Little John sighs quickly. Robin looks from Little John to Much. Djaq and Will sit down and resume their work.)  

Bonchurch. Morning (Isabella has arrived back at Bonchurch to check on Clarke only to discover that the Princess has disappeared.) Isabella: "What do you mean she's gone?" Gladstone: "Just that, Milady. She was here when I checked in on her last night and the kitchen staff never saw her leave." Isabella: (Frustratedly:) "Of all the... My brother is leaving for the coast! She would have been able to stay at the Manor undisturbed for months!" Gladstone: "Yes, Milady." Isabella: (Sighs, relaxes slightly:) "Sorry, Gladstone, I know this wasn't your fault. But where the hell could she have gone to?" Nottingham Toll House. (Clarke, now tied and gagged is being lead down a dirt road by her kidnapper, Roan. They approach a toll house which is guarded by three soldiers. Quickly grabbing Clarke and pulling her off the road, they lay in the bushes.) Roan: (Softly:) "Quiet. (Pulling her up to a sitting position, his knife at her throat. Glancing at the guards:) Now I’m supposed to hand you over to Prince John’s guards over there. But I’ve had a better offer. (Looking at Clarke:) Come on, we'll backtrack and go around." Clarke: (Takes a deep breath and screams through her gag:) "AHHHH!" (The guards all look towards the noise and draw their swords, headed in straight for them.) Roan: (Coldly:) "Their deaths are on you. (Roan pulls a hemp back over Clarke's head and pulls her to her feet. Leading Clarke by her restraints, he puts his free hand in the air to show the guards he means them no harm.) Easy, I don't want any trouble." Guard 1: (To his fellow guards:) "He's one of those savages. (The others come in closer, weapons drawn. To Roan, pointing his sword towards Clarke:) Is that her?" (Guard 1 slowly approaches, his sword pointed at Roan who does not make a move. The guard reaches for and removes Clarke's hood.) Roan: "I told you, I don't want trouble." Guard 1: (To his men:) "Yeah, thats her, that's the Princess. (To Roan:) We'll take her from here." Roan: "I can't let you do that." (Roan drops Clarke's restraints and she sprints away in the opposite direction.) Guard 1: "Eh? What do you think you're doing?!" Guard 2: "I'll get her, you kill him." (The guard chases after Clarke as the other two attack Roan. The fight is over in seconds as Roan slays each guard in turn. In the distance, just as Guard 2 is about to catch up to Clarke, Roan draws his bow and lets an arrow fly. The arrow hits its target, piercing the guard in the back through the heart. The guards momentum carries him forward enough to knock Clarke to the ground. As Roan approaches, Clarke notices a dagger laying on the ground and discreetly palms it.) Roan: "It didn't have to be this way." (Roan rolls the dead guard off Clarke and as he reaches for her, Clarke stabs Roan in the stomach. Her second strike is blocked and Roan brings his own knife to her throat.) Clarke: "If you were going to kill me you'd've done it already." Roan: (Glaring at her, icily:) "There's still time." (Roan pulls Clarke along behind him once again through the toll house.)

Nottingham Castle. Courtyard. (Allan heads with his bag past the cloister to a stockpile of barrels and baskets under the north corridor. He’s been busy with his tasks and is also not aware of Prince John’s announcement. A tarpaulin has been set up over it, between the cloister and the tree. Marian catches him up from the stables.) Marian: “Allan… (Allan turns around to face her.) I can’t find Robin.” Allan: “I wouldn’t worry about it. This trip’s just me, Giz and the Sheriff. Serious. No soldiers, no mercenaries. I don’t think it’s the King, Marian.” (Allan turns back to the barrels stored under the tarpaulin. Marian follows.) Marian: “Yes, well, I do. I’m going to stop it.” Allan: “How?” Marian: “I don’t know. I’ll kill the Sheriff if I have to.” Allan: “What? (Looks to see if she was overhead, then steps to her.) Hey… have you forgotten what happens if the Sheriff dies?” Marian: “No. Prince John’s armies will raze Nottingham to the ground.” Allan: “Yeah, so leave it!” (Turns and heads for the storeroom under the north corridor.) Marian: “Yes, but if the King is in the south, then that’s where Prince John’s men will be. (Follows Allan.) Nottingham will be safe.” Allan: (Chuckles.) “That’s a lot of assumptions there.” (Stuffs a loaf of bread into his bag, then looks for more.) Marian: “Well Prince John is here and his soldiers aren’t so what does that tell you? And if I prevent the Sheriff from killing the King, then that’s the King back on the throne. (Allan stuffs another loaf into his bag.) That’s the end of Prince John, the end of the Black Knights and the end of their threats.” Allan: (Steps to Marian.) “So you want to save England single handedly?” Marian: (Panicked, loudly:) “No, but I can’t find Robin! (Allan looks around for any soldiers.) Look, Gisborne and the Sheriff are ready to leave now. There’s no time for this! Would you please help me?!” Allan: “Sorry, you’re out of your depth.” (Turns back into the store room.) Marian: "No, I’m sorry. (Allan turns back around to face her and Marian punches his jaw. Allan falls backward, dazed, then unconscious.) You underestimate me.” (Marian takes Allan’s sword belt, goes to the door and checks to see if the way is clear.) East exterior corridor. (Soldiers walk into the castle. Gisborne comes up the steps, looking for Allan.) Gisborne: (Looks down the corridor.) “Allan!” (Gisborne walks briskly down the corridor past Marian, who is pressed into a shadowy corner. Marian watches him go, then draws the sword, heading for the main doors.)

War room. (The Sheriff has a silver goblet in his left hand and a polished matching pitcher in his right. He is pacing by the round map, practicing a speech.) Sheriff: “My lords! Wonderful news… My lords! (Swings the pitcher up and sets it on the map. Whispers:) Glorious news! (Drains the goblet and sets it down, then goes over to the fireplace and turns around.) We… (arms outstretched)… the Black Knights, stand on the verge of greatness. (Crosses his fists over his chest and chuckles. The door opens a bit and Marian pokes her head through. The Sheriff walks back to the map table.) We did not wait… for Mohammed to come to the mountain, no. (Marian, hand on the hilt, enters behind the Sheriff and raises the sword.) We took the mountain… to Mohammed! We did not wait… for the King to land… (Marian raises the sword behind her to stab the Sheriff, but he sees movement in the polished silver pitcher and the sword coming at him and he ducks, turning around and grabbing her arm. He deftly spins her around and pins her onto the map table, holding the sword across her throat.) Mistake, missy. Big mistake.” (Marian glares at him defiantly even in her compromised state.)

Nettlestone. Barn. Interior. (Robin cautiously peeks out between the doors.) Exterior. (Horses gallop by Ellingham as he takes a drink of water from a flask. Another group talk amongst themselves. Ellingham sees Robin peeking and hands his Bask to another.) Interior. (Robin realises Ellingham has noticed him and chuckles slightly in anticipation.) Exterior. Ellingham: “Oh, we’ve got time, Hood! All the time in the world!” Interior. Robin: “Us too! Would you like some more roast hog while you’re waiting?!” Djaq: “I don’t understand. What kind of soldiers are these? They’re not doing anything!” (Much crosses by Djaq, swinging his sword.) Robin: (Taking a few steps forward:) “They’re mercenaries. They fight for money. (Spins the knife in his hand.) Not passion.” (Replaces his knife.) Much: “I thought they were Lexa’s men?” Robin: “They are. But the only way the Sheriff is able to command them is with money.” Little John: "That is why they do not want to fight and die.” Will: “So, what, you think they’re just gonna wait?” Robin: “Yep! Looks like it. And we can’t escape from here. They’re just gonna wait until we come out.” (Looks at the gang.) Much: (Puts his sword behind his shoulder.) “And then kill us. Not even a conversation.” Robin: (Somberly:) “Lads… I’ve got a proposal. If they don’t come to us, we go to them.” Little John: “When?” Robin: “First light.” Will: “There’s too many.” Djaq: “We’ll die.” Much: “It’s suicide!” Little John: “A good day to die.” (Robin looks pointedly at Little John, then turns away as Much protests.) Much: “Will you just shut up? (to Robin:) Why does he always say that? (to Little John:) Don’t even know what it means!” Robin: “We’ll almost certainly die. (Much looks at Robin in astonishment.) But at least we’ll die fighting.” Will: (Stands up.) “Yeah. I’m in.” Djaq: “Me too.” Little John: “Yes.” (They all look at Much.) Much: “And me.” Robin: “Good. (Plods slightly.) Good.” (Everyone looks at Robin.) Djaq: (Brightly:) “Then tonight is a Kalila and Dimna night.” Will: “What?” Djaq: (Smiling slyly:) “You don’t have Kalila and Dimna?” Much: (Unamused:) “Surprisingly not.” Djaq: (Sits. A bit excitedly:) “Kalila and Dimna night you remember for your whole life. (Robin eyes the others, looking for their reactions as Djaq explains.) You must speak only the truth. You must ask all your questions, share all your dreams, confess all your secrets.” Much: “It’s just talking.” Djaq: “Yes. But it’s real talking. And if you’re too boring, someone shouts "Kalila” and you lose your turn. (Robin turns his head, not looking very happy about this idea. to Much:) You start.“ Much: (Protesting:) "Oh, no!” Djaq: “You can just talk. You like talking.” Much: “Well, I know I do, but… well, not like this.” Djaq: “Fine. Then I’ll start.”

Nottingham Castle. War room. (Gisborne storms in and stops in surprise upon seeing Marian sitting in a chair with her hands tied behind it. The Sheriff is sitting in a chair near the door, behind Gisborne.) Sheriff: “You missed all the fun, Gisborne. (Allan enters behind Gisborne and the sentries close the door.) Your leper friend tried to kill me.” (Gisborne glares at Marian, who looks down, ashamed of betraying his trust.) Gisborne: (Points to Allan.) “Did you know about this?” Allan: “I didn’t know anything.” Sheriff: (Stands.) “Why would he know anything about this?” Gisborne: (Looking at Marian:) “She knocked him out and took his sword.” Sheriff: (In disbelief:) “What?” Allan: “Well, I wasn’t expecting it, was I? Or it wouldn’t have happened. (Marian looks up at him, eyes wide.) Yeah, she’s good, b’ I’m better, though.” (Marian cringes. The Sheriff slowly turns his head to Allan, then steps towards him. Allan knows now he misspoke. He shifts his feet as the Sheriff circles to his side. Allan swallows hard.) Sheriff: “ ‘She’s good but I’m better.’ That means you knew… (looks at Marian…) she was capable of this.

(Marian looks fearfully at the Sheriff, who steps over to Gisborne, looking at his calm face.) You knew, too, didn’t you?” Gisborne: “My lord, please, I can explain.” Sheriff: “Well, you better had explain. Because she (walks to the fireplace.) just made an attempt on my life!” Gisborne: (Faces the Sheriff, then looks down, shaking his head.) “I recently discovered that Marian… was the Nightwatchman.” Sheriff: (Looks at Gisborne in utter and speechless disbelief. Quietly:) “What? (Marian looks at Gisborne, then cringes again as the Sheriff shouts.) And you didn’t tell me?!” Gisborne: “I believed Marian’s days as the Nightwatchman were over! I believed I had dealt with it!” Sheriff: (Stepping to the table:) “By tricking me?! By faking her escape?! (Turns to Gisborne.) Who was it who ran away?" (Gisborne turns away. The Sheriff looks at Allan.) Allan: “Look, I was just following orders, all right?” Gisborne: “Yeah, I gave the order.” Sheriff: “Why?” (Goes behind Marian.) Gisborne: “Because I thought Marian’s charitable instincts were misguided! I did not think they merited hanging.” Sheriff: “Oh, how very noble of you, dear boy. Although I can’t help thinking that maybe you wanted a little something in return. Huh? A display of gratitude? (Gisborne turns his head away in exasperation. to Marian:) Oh, the Nightwatchman. (Solidly taps her shoulder repeatedly.) I’m impressed.” Marian: “Get off me.” Sheriff: “So now you have a choice Gisborne - kill her now or she comes with us?” Gisborne: “To kill the King?” Sheriff: “Oh, yes. (Draws his dagger and offers it to Gisborne.) Choose. (Gisborne looks apprehensively at the Sheriff then lowers his head.) Guards! (The doors open and the sentries enter.) Pack a trunk for Lady Marian! (The guards nods and close the doors.) She’s coming with us. Oh, oh, look. Look, the look. Hm? So eloquent. 'Oh, Guy, what’s going to happen?’ (Marian lowers her head and stares at the Sheriff.) Well, we just don’t know, do we, missy?”
