I know I joked the other day that the Ghost of Luke Skywalker might be off looking for the Ghost of Leia Organa, but I just realized. . . I have no idea how the whole "Force ghost" thing actually works.

Like, should I imagine the Force is this giant, metaphorical lake and all the dead Jedi are little individual fishies swimming around in it. Like, they can travel from one end of the lake to another or even occasionally jump onto land to visit us mortals?

Or maybe there are no fishies at all, and the Jedi Afterlife is just the lake and everything from the Force ghosts to the Force itself makes up the water, where everything and everyone flow together as one big consciousness. And if a Force ghost wants to spend time among the living, their little droplets of water have to separate themselves from the larger body.

If it's the latter, maybe that's why Ben Solo keeps hanging around. I mean, I know I would if I were a disgrace to the Skywalker family name and the alternative was to spend eternity co-mingling my consciousness with those of my famous uncle and my terrifying mother.

Anyway, I should probably go to sleep.

The Organas and the Lars family are all well aware that the children they’re raising each have a sibling somewhere in the far reaches of the galaxy. They can never say anything, since Luke and Leia would be in grave danger if the truth of their heritage were to get out, but sometimes the twins’ adoptive families can’t help but think about the other child that they will never know.

Breha notices her daughter’s title causes her to struggle with finding companions her own age and wonders if that loneliness might have been lessened had the twins never been separated. Sometimes, she imagines taking Leia’s brother by the hand and introducing him to the people of Alderaan as a beloved member of the Organa family just like his sister.

Beru starts stitching a family tree -a tradition among slaves and former slaves on Tatooine, meant to bring together families that were separated by slavery- but struggles to finish it when she realizes it’s too dangerous to include her niece. After the war, Luke and Leia create their own, and Leia displays her connection to the Lars family line like a badge of honour.

Bail is always concerned about Luke’s wellbeing somewhere in the back of his mind. The Lars family are supposed to be good, hardworking people, but even under Obi-Wan’s protection, Tatooine is a hostile place to live: especially compared to a temperate core world planet like Alderaan. Since he is unable to directly intervene so far out in Hutt Space, his contacts within the rebellion are occasionally tasked with checking in on the state of things in and around Tatooine’s settlements. On the occasions where Owen and Beru found themselves struggling to put food on the table, an off-world traveller would soon arrive offering to pay handsomely for something like mechanical help or a ride to Anchorhead.

Owen tries not to dwell on what-if scenarios and focus on keeping his nephew safe, but raising a force sensitive child -much less a force sensitive child of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala- is stressful on the best of days. When people in town murmur under their breath about how odd the Lars boy is, he worries. Both that the empire will take the whispering about Luke being odd seriously, and that the little girl Obi-Wan told them about when he arrived with baby Luke hidden under his cloak might be put in danger by those same whispers.

I was very hesitant here at first because of my previous fandom (which I basically ran away from) was tremendously hostile, so I didn't know what expect from SW fandom and being fan of Anakin of all characters, but hey, I found my niche! There's a lot of ppl that love him (otherwise I wouldn't get that many notes, i think 😆😆).

Maybe there's a very loud angry crowd out there that think you're bad for liking him, but compared to what I experienced on previous fandom, SW fandom as I have experienced it so far, is a walk to the park

people are so annoying and dumb with that "rey should've called herself palpatine!!" because:

a) why the hell would she choose a surname that destroyed thousands of lives throughout the galaxy.

b) blood doesn't make family and just because she's blood related to palpatine, it does not mean that she is one.

c) her calling herself a skywalker is literally a way of not letting the skywalker legacy die.

i just rewatched the rise of skywalker and before throwing ben off that cliff palpatine literally says "as i once fell so the last skywalker will fall" which is logical because skywalkers have been causing so much trouble for palpatine throughout their entire existence lol

ANYWAYS the point is, by killing ben palpatine tried to end the skywalker legacy altogether. however, by calling herself a skywalker, rey did not let palpatine achieve his goal and made sure that the skywalker surname and legacy wouldn't get lost throughout the years.

"...Sir?" Rex put down his helmet and stiffened to attention. Only to be met with a slap on the back. "Sir!-" Rex choked as he tripped forward. He caught himself then turned to Anakin with a grumpy glare.

"Sorry Rexy, I just-"

"Don't call me that-"

"-am really happy right now. The end of the war is here, I can sense it." Anakin walked around, chest puffed out and robe perfectly placed, "By the end of this week, I will be a new man."

Rex rolled his eyes and slumped into his chair, resting his face in his hand, he tried to figure out why Anakin was acting like this, his eyes sparked with realization. "You saw Padme-" Rex started to smile slowly, "You saw Padme."

Anakin's eyes lit up, "Rex!" He grinned, "Rex what do you know?!" He laughed as he pulled his captain up. "What do you know, buddy?"

Rex laughed, Anakin was so giddy, there's no way it wasn't this, "I know Padme's leaving for Naboo in two days and that you have an event happening three days from now." Rex teased as Anakin's excitement grew.

"You know about the babies?!" Anakin jumped in excitement.

"Oh I know about the babies!" They jumped and laughed with each other. Anakin pull Rex into a hug and all he could do was laugh. They held each other in excitement, and maybe Anakin started to cry.

"Rex," Anakin had never been this happy. He was about to be a father. "I'm so excited! We're gonna go to Naboo, Padme's gonna give birth, I'm gonna cry, I'm gonna change a diaper, I'm gonna never sleep again, and they're gonna cry all the time and Padme and I are gonna be exhausted and... I can't wait-" He rambled.

Rex smiled, he couldn't wait for the babies either. He was gonna play hide and seek with them, take them to target practice, and other activities infants participate in. "By the end of the week Rex, I'm gonna be a Dad-" Anakin was determined to do right. He was going to leave the order, retire to Naboo and love Padme and their children. He was going to support his family, he was going to bring Ahsoka home, bring Rex too. He was going to have his family and everything would be perfect.

"At the end of this week." Rex laughed, as giddy as Anakin. "I can't wait Anakin." By the end of week, everything would be different.

This is the person whose been helping the killer since the very beginning, pretending to be your friend the entire time until the plot reached its rising action. You’re heart broken and the very ground shakes under your feet, the good person you once thought you knew is gone… or worse, had never truly existed. Which of your ocs is not only willing to help a friend hide the body, but kill it too?

Luke should have known. He should have known Lani was far more sinister than other people in his life. But he hadn't wanted to believe it, maybe because, despite everything, she was still his sister. That hadn't changed now, either.

Still, he would never forget the cold look of pure rage on her eyes as she stood over the dead body of the Imperial officer, split in half by her lightsaber. The only thing that would have unsettled him more was if she had been covered in blood. But at this point... he wasn't so sure she wouldn't rip open someone's throat with her own bare teeth if she had to. And the scariest part: She would do it to protect him.
