Watching echo's simulation scene again made me realize that she kinda did the opposite of Mt weather. Bellamy said loyalty that makes u do wrong things is weakness like how she did in mt weather. So in the simulation she killed hope instead of allowing everyone in bardo to die. I don't know, morally killing every person on bardo would be wrong but not killing them would mean all these people will be stuck to fight their war. I'm now doubtful if Echo is pretending to be loyal to bardo or not.
None of that is accurate if the spy is doing her spy thing and going undercover with the disciples pretending to be on their side. If that’s what’s happening, if she killed Hope because she’s trying to convince Anders she’s one of them, then it’s not a betrayal at all. The only way your interpretation works is if she isn’t aware that the simulation is a simulation and a test. But she knows it is, doesn’t she? This is a person who has been conscious of pleasing her masters since she was a young girl.
But it wasn’t real. She knew it was a simulation. She knew it was a test. They were WARNED ahead of time that it was a test they had to pass or they’d go back to skyring to die alone.
When, in the simulation, Hope or Diyoza was attempting to kill everyone on Bardo, they weren’t actually doing that. No one was dying. It wasn’t real. When the person being tested chose their action, they weren’t saving or killing anyone. It was a test to see what they WOULD do.
IF they really have been brainwashed, then perhaps it would be a betrayal. But I don’t think they are. Echo started the game right in the beginning. Before any brainwashing could happen. And they noted that the classroom WAS brainwashing. It’s only been a few weeks.
We KNOW that Echo is a spy. We’ve SEEN her go undercover and try to convince the enemy that she was with them. It was Diyoza. Who was a navy seal war hero turned traitor and terrorist. Who faked her own death to get away.
This looks the same to me. But the disciples, not used to resistance, and secure in their control of their people, don’t recognize the more subtle forms, like when our girls play the game and fake it.
idk. it seems to be an act to me and it seems to me like they have ulterior motives, and i think it’s possible hope is in on the plan and having one of them fail the testing might be part of it. my best evidence for that is actually the clip from the trailer where hope is with clarke and octavia (?) and her hair is still short, so we know she wasn’t sent to skyring.

If you don’t want to be Emotional, don’t think about the fact that Echo, a woman who just a few episodes ago thought that she’d lost everything because Bellamy was dead, is now the emotional lynchpin of their new small society.
This little society brings together two fairly disparate groups - Spacekru (Murphy, Emori, Raven, Jordan) and Wonkru (Octavia, Niylah, Indra, Gaia, Miller, Jackson), but Skyring is the bridge between them. With Echo spending six years with Spacekru on the Ring, followed by five years on Skyring with Hope (plus months on Bardo with Octavia, Hope and Levitt), she’s the one who can bridge that divide because she’s the one who is emotionally connected to both groups.
The spy who belonged nowhere is now the lynchpin who belongs more than anyone else.
Just thought that was neat.

Random S7 Predictions (spoilers through 7x04)
Some are realistic, others are off the wall. But I’m a bit bored and antsy for the rest of the season so this seemed fun.
Share and add your own.
Orlando is the shepherd.
Or at the very least, Orlando isn’t really dead.
Murphy is going to die, sacrificing himself to save some members of Kru. (Low-key I think it’s Clarke he’s saving)
Were going to see old characters. Mostly through memories but I predict at least 1-2 actors will come back. (I know Finn has been floated and that seems likely. Since it’s Bellamy-centered, maybe Aurora too?)
They know about Clarke and Bellamy (and everyone else) through O’s memories.
Again, I think memories are going to be huge in this.
Clarke is the key? Trust Bellamy? I’m honestly not sure what to make of this yet but it’s connected. I think Clarke is needed for Bellamy and Bellamy is needed for something. (I know that’s vague but give me a break. I have some baby brain going on.)
Together
Echo’s actions with Orlando are going to come back to royally bite her in the ass.
I think Hope is going to die :(
I think Bellamy will have some memory lapses.
Clarkekru is going to meet up with SkyringKru (2.0) and learn that they don’t have Bellamy. That’s when she’ll lose her shit.
I think that’s all I’ve got for now. Enjoy my 5 minutes of musing I got in before getting my kid from the babysitter lol.

Thank you!! I also agree this is the best so far. Like I do find the anomaly arc intriguing but like I don’t care about Skyringkru enough for the last episode or two to have been a favorite😂
Man oh man, final thoughts.
1. Best episode of the season so far. I'm not sure who wrote this one, but 👏👏👏.
2. This is one I may have to watch 3 or 4 times to wrap my brain around. I was glued to the screen, but I still missed a lot!
3. When it was Hope and not Diyoza in the suit coming to rescue Octavia the first time, I was shook.
4. I'm afraid the red blood we see in the trailer when Sheidrussell has a hold of Madi might be Indra's. She has moved up to the top of my death watch list. 😬😰
5. Bellamy is obviously not dead, but I think he might be stranded on whatever planet Anders had dialed up with the anomaly. He seems like an SOB, so I don't think it was Sanctum like he led them to believe.
6. There's this really bad, really cheesy sci fi monster movie called Ice Spiders and it looks like the writers borrowed the idea for next week. 😅
Here ya go @angstybleuskies ! 😁

7 and 27 for the 100 finale asks! 😀💯
Great choices, thanks for asking @thgbookprincess! This game is a lot of fun! 🤩
Link to The 100 Final Season ask game!
7. Who had the best character arc/development of the series as a whole?
I don't hesitate here in saying John Murphy. He changed so much over the years as he gradually built relationships with these people that became his family. So much of what we see from him at first is an angry kid, fighting tooth and nail to survive (and needing a family maybe more than he knows?)
To go from chaotic Murphy in S1, to the leader we see in S7... from guy who puts himself first, to someone who'd die to see Emori one last time... He came a long way. Of all the stories of t100, his is probably the most satisfying.
27. Rank the seasons from 1-7. Feel free to explain or not!
1. Season 6: This one will always hold a special place in my heart. It gave us Josephine Lightbourne and flashback!Clarke and happy moments for the Blake Siblings and we got a DOG and Christmas lights and 'NO SHE'S NOT!' desperate!Bellamy and that scene at the end where everyone is hugging!? 💛 Yes, please!
2. Season 5: I was a big fan of this one. Blodreina and the bunker was DARK but I ate it up (no pun intended). Loved the addition of Madi and Diyoza/Shaw and that we suddenly had Spacekru in the mix. The bellarke crumbs we aplenty and finale was one of my favourite episodes of the series.
3. Season 1: It's tough to beat the found family of misfits feel that we get in the first season. The dropship was an ICONIC location and those first few episodes had such interesting stories. A simpler season, but one of my faves.
4. Season 4: There was a lot of action in this season, but a huge focus on the OG delinquents too. Octavia in the conclave was the badass story I always wanted for her, and so many characters were just in their PRIME.
5. Season 3: This was the first season I really took to after quitting the pilot, lol. I was a big Lexa fan and loved that we had her back in the flame... lots of Roan... 3x02 bellarke (!!) and the plot twist with ALIE and Becca- what a story!
6. Season 7: It breaks my heart that this season is so low on the list. Season 7A was one of my very favourite, and 7B was my very least. Gah. I'll never be over all that, y'all. 💔
7. Season 2: I didn't dislike it per say, I just don't ever have a lot to say about Season 2? 🤷♀️
#the 100#thanks for the ask!! ☺️#ask away!#john murphy#fave seasons#madi griffin#octavia blake#bellarke#josephine lightbourne#bellamy blake#spacekru#skyringkru#tumblrkt#give us the S7 plot before the rewrites please @the100writers

Predictions for 7x09!
Guys we're officially into the second half of the final season now! I can't even imagine how much drama we're in for tonight! 😮🧡
We learn more about Bardo and what happened to the Second Dawn when they arrived I feel like they likely killed the inhabitants and lied about it tbh?
The surface looks EPIC COOL and deadly
Hope ends up a prisoner again because she can't suppress her emotions (or at least pretend like she's suppressed her emotions)
... but the other ladies do just fine bc they've been holding back their feelings fighting wars FOR YEARS
Levitt tries to help Octavia & co
And does it by faking whatever Anders asks him to do to 'sever ties' with their family
As a result, Diyoza/Echo/Octavia treat Earthkru like strangers the entire episode
Raven is already thinking up how to make another 'key' (or a different tech to fool Cadogan and the Commandos)
Clarke makes at least (1) reference that implies her questioning whether or not Bellamy is dead
And we get a heck of a microexpression from Echo/Octavia when she says it
Indra and Murphy get Emori back safely with the help of Sheidheda, but in the process his identity is revealed to Wonkru
That jerk from Sangedakru speaks up again
Murphy almost dies.
Diyoza actually dies.
We see Bellamy and Gaia again at the end
(on the same planet bc he was actually the commando trying to close the stone??)
(and the people that live there are the ones that the Second Dawn is at war with???)
Ends on a cliffhanger, if that even counts as speculation anymore? 😂 #2weekbreak
#the 100#s7 spec#7x09#I'm actually really excited tonight!#I feel like so much is going to happen!!#hope diyoza#the second dawn#skyringkru#earthkru#raven reyes#clarke griffin#sheidheda!prime#levitt + his heart eyes are back#random spec bc you never know!#i did pretty well last week 🤷♀️#the 100 spoilers#(but not really lol)#s7kt

I been goin crazy ever since i saw the pics(not the sneak peek video)+posters this evening.
So i was thinking...why don’t we go and have some theories about it?
So you all remember in s6 when Octavia and Gabriel were at the anomaly stone with all the signs and the octonion was the one that jumped to his eye and he said it couldn’t be a coincidence?
The octonion is mostly known for it s mathematic properties, but if you dig deeper you ll know that it goes beyond that. In fact the octonion has a big meaning in the whole chakra/yoga/cabala shenaningans.
And it might in this case too....
So in the cabala there s 10 words linked to the octonion; 2 are very generic and are not always listed cuz they re pretty much the base of the other 8.
the other 8 are death(daath), chesed, geburah, tifaret, netzach, hod, yesod and malkuth. It would be interesting to see if those words are linked to signs and if those signs might be similar/equal to the ones on the anomaly stone.
Color wise, they do actually have color as well and you ll not be surprised if i say that i ve found that all the colors that appear in the 10 posters(being yello, blue, red and green) are considered in that part of cabala....since those 8 words are indicative of qualities either good or bad/well used or badly used or just not there(strength, reflection, root, intellect and logic etc)...
what if on top of it indicating that said people will end up on the same planet it also means that the said people who are linked by color are indicated so as in a sort of polarism...either opposite or attractive...

What do you think of Echo in s7 so far?
I love her! She’s no-nonsense, a good strategist, adaptable, will do what needs to be done. Though, like Octavia, she has got to get rid of her obsession with Bellamy. Seriously, there are better people to care about out there.
When Echo and Octavia reunite, I want them to discuss farming of all things, because both of them were both reluctant to try it and stabbing the ground rather than tilling it properly, but later grew to care a great deal about the work they put in. I stan our growing warrior-farmer squad of badass bitches.

hi rosie! I know it's been months since the 100 ended and I've seen lots of people talk about how they failed bellamy and clarke but I was wondering what you thought of raven and her storyline in s7. do you think it was good for her character and her story arc?
Ahh. Raven’s arc.
Yeah, so the problem with Raven’s arc is JR hasn’t known what to do with her since season 5. Season 4 was the last season with a good character arc for her, and even that one had a major character glitch as he tried to take her from the pragmatist who would blow up a bridge or dam or tell Clarke to kill Lxa while surrounded by her armies, to a person who said “it’s not your blood that matters, it’s your heart.” Which was one of the worst lines in this whole show. It’s not even funny like “we’re back bitches!” It’s just corny and soppy and dumb. Her character shift on science island always felt false to me. It should have been Bellamy who held Clarke in check with morality, since that had been HIS character arc. I thought it was a misstep then, and now knowing the entire narrative arc, I think it was where they started to go wrong with Raven. Until then she was my third favorite character after Clarke and Bellamy.
I ALWAYS had a problem with this, but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt that they could pull it out. Season 5 was the least bad for her, with her sacrifice for spacekru on the ship, but honestly I didn’t think they went far enough with that. I feel like they should have explored her feelings of guilt more at not being able to get her friends home, or leaving Clarke behind alone. And there was great potential in the scene where she and Clarke took McCreary down using her own body as the weapon (especially for a character whose body was always in pain and whose body had failed her... idk that’s quite some symbolism there,) but instead they chose to retreat and turn her back into the judgmental shrew that told Bellamy he shouldn’t have saved the slaves, and told Clarke she was the one who said whether everyone lived or died.
So like. She never addressed with Clarke what happened with Finn at his death. The blame she put on Clarke, when SHE wanted to instigate a war that would have had them all exterminated, including Finn. For some reason, the genius couldn’t connect those dots that her plan would have caused all of her people to massacred? I mean, it’s normal for her to have that failure in such a time of high emotion, but six years later, she still thinks Clarke was wrong to do what she did? No. Plot hole. Forgetting all the times that she enabled Clarke’s plans, or eagerly set about torturing and killing (remember SHE’S the one who electrified Lincoln without a BIT of the remorse that Clarke and Bellamy had,) is a failure of character.
Also, she never addressed the FACT that she wanted to trade Murphy to the grounders for Finn’s life and have him tortured to death in place of her boyfriend who was a literal mass murderer, AND she blamed Murphy for Finn’s actions when Murphy was the one trying to stop him the whole time. And THIS is a plot hole for a character arc and narrative line that was about Raven having learning about forgiveness and morality and leadership and sacrifice and hard decisions, and making judgments on Murphy, who frankly has been one of the most moral characters of the show since season 2. His morality might not be the SAME as everyone else’s, but it was the most firm. So, this narrative arc again did not go FAR enough.
In season 5, I figured that they would make up for the s5 scanty Raven storyline with a stronger s6 one.. That didn’t happen. I thought maybe it was because her love interest left, so she took on his judgmental role, but it didn’t work well. I also thought that part of the problem was that it would make her into too big of a character and they needed to keep the focus on the main characters, Clarke and Bellamy. But from s5-7 MURPHY got a large role, too, that brought a thorough narrative arc and finished out his character journey. So he got the focus that they never managed for Raven. I hear tell that Richard helped Murphy’s story in season 7, so that might be why. But idk. It shows that they were capable of finishing a character story with attention and detail, but they just failed with Raven.
So season 7 had Raven confronting her own leadership and putting her in Clarke’s place to face the judgment she put on Clarke. And...oh she was sad and felt guilt and had to face the repercussions of that. But... it didn’t go far enough. She was reunited with Clarke and was no longer angry at her, and they were a team again. But this wasn’t HER story arc. Her story arc just kind of went *sad trombone.*
I know she was the one who went into the anomaly and met with the sparkle aliens, but that just seemed so forced and fake. Yes, they built up the morality narrative, but... like. It should have been Clarke. Instead they turned her into the crazy vengeance lady, like Daenerys, even though her entire narrative was about her dealing with her pain and she kind of never killed anyone in vengeance? I mean she spent 6 years ALONE and she only wanted to kill herself? IDK. It doesn’t make sense that THIS was the end. She sent madi into battle too save Bellamy and that did make her crazy lady. She had her after death reckoning and we saw no crazy lady.
Sorry, that went off into failure of Clarke’s story.
How did that affect Raven? I think that from about season 3, Raven was used as a substitute to fill in gaps where they lost characters, or moved characters around. Where they changed their narrative ideas, and they needed a narrative tool to do something, they would stick Raven in... because she was a strong character who was involved with all the other main characters (except maybe Octavia.) She became like a swiss army knife who would take the place of characters that were needed but didn’t fit. And that meant that HER character was not really consistent in the later half of the series. And it feels WRONG. Someone’s judgy? Make it Raven. Someone’s empathetic? Make it Raven. Someone’s mean? Make it Raven. Someone’s righteous? Make it Raven. Someone’s a sister? Make it Raven. Someone’s a daughter? Make it Raven. Some main character needs a supporting character to prop them up? Make it Raven. They just moved her around to fit the other character’s stories. Even her big morality arc was to support Abby, Clarke, or Murphy. :/ THAT’S why it didn’t work when they made her the Clarke proxy in the transcendence narrative. Because she hadn’t actually worked through HER story, but through Abby’s Clarke’s and Murphy’s. Bleh.
And she also basically disappeared in a lot of season 7, too. Same as Octavia. Who had her story with Sky Ring and skyringkru, but then disappeared until she gave the inspiring peace speech with the goddamn petty, dumbass stupid grounders, whose main flaw FROM SEASON 1, is that they are too stupid to have survived this long. All they want to do is fight. And blame everyone else for what they did. And the eligius prisoners, and the brainless cult sheep. Honestly.
And what do we have? The most unnuanced, flat character in the show. Sheidheda. Like there isn’t even any symbolism or archetypal energy in there. He’s just there to make them fight for NO FUCKING REASON.
These are the characters who had decent story arcs that were resolved.
Murphy and Emori Diyoza Gabriel And Indra a bit. Better than most.
Fucking DEV had a better character ending than Clarke, Bellamy, Raven, and Octavia.
Actually, Mackson was satisfying, although skimpy. But then the characters didn’t have a really deep narrative line, so their ending was in keeping with their story. But it fit with their long term stated goals, what they wanted out of life. Just to be together in peace with maybe some chickens, by the shore, right? That was THEIR goal. The ending was theirs.
That was never what any of the other characters wanted. Or not ONLY. Do the right thing. Live a good life. Create a better society. Save humanity. Be good people. Live morally.
nope. But it worked for Murphy’s ending too. He didn’t want to die alone. He died, with Emori. Then he came back and got to life his half life with his friends.
I just can’t get over how they tossed the main story of being the good guys and saving humanity. I suppose there was always the question of whether they’d get a happy ending emotionally, but I never thought they’d destroy humanity, erase Bellamy and say Clarke was never the hero.
I guess I needed to address the endings of the other characters to see how they all fit in with Raven’s. Because none of the characters stood on their own, so we have to see how they were woven together and compare and contrast.
Raven was my biggest disappointment as a character in this show from season 5 on. I kept waiting for her character arc to come together or get the attention Murphy got. She had the weight to be major character, but her story just wasn’t told. She became a supporting character and really lacked meaningful development.
