Found some Skyrim mods that I could use to make a very Mora-specific build (namely Blood Magick and activatable glowing body markings), so... I recreated another novel character as an excuse to catch up on some of the new follower mod updates.

And, well, the development so far has been perfect.

Meet Morane Soraya, local disaster lesbian who got robbed and left for dead the second she stepped foot on Skyrim, which she ended up on for... reasons. 🙃 Her favorite pastimes are hurling her blood at her enemies, and collecting feral women + one (1) catman.

She is quite pleased as punch about it.

I love the face she makes when she's talking to Inigo.

Moral of the story: Blood Magick's one hell of a drug.

The boy will be getting a bunch of new armors & new 3D models for existing armors in Redcap's GIGANTIC v1.5.0 update (forever in progress it will be worth the wait 😘) Here are some teaser pics of a few of them including from top to bottom: - Wood Armor (be careful around fire this one is extra flammable!) - Mudcrab Armor (a tanky boi) - Ash Hopper Armor (gotta go fast) - Falmer Armor (this is one of the visual upgrades to an existing armor)

every time I try to find good mods for bethesda properties the listicles are always

1. MASSIVE COMBAT OVERHAUL. Are you tired of dying 50 times an hour? This is the mod for you. With PenisPaladin’s Killer Death March mod, you can die 500 times an hour instead!

2. and add on a survival mode to Killer Death March. if you don’t drink water at all times and find a safe place to piss it out, uhhhh die!

3. Ambient Atmospheric PC Murderer Mod. This mod sure would look cool if you had the latest NVIDIA graphic card, even though the game was made fifteen years ago. Don’t try it on a three year old graphics card! Your computer will sizzle.

4. Bigger Deathclaws. ‘nuff said.

5. Unofficial Patch. If you don’t have this, nothing will work. Literally nothing.

6. Improved Character Models. The men are so grizzled you can’t see their faces anymore. The women’s skin is so dewy and flattened they look like Odo from Deep Space Nine with giant false eyelashes and Kardashian lips.

7. This cool added questline! We won’t be warning you it looks and sounds like it was written by a fifteen-year-old misogynist who is SO excited to use the word “bitch” and add strip clubs to the world.

8. Skip a main quest. (Note: this will probably glitch out and break your game!)

9. Cool Sword. cool sword.

10. You know how the UI sucks? Here’s a thing that works when it works but if the load order is off or it’s just being capricious, it don’t work. you’ll use it anyway. because the vanilla UI sucks.

High School AU - Skyrim Headcannons

Only doing this simply because I had a dream where I was in a classroom with some of my Skyrim Companions. So I'll put down how I think they'd act during class.

Obviously I do not own these characters and do not know them as well as their creators would. This is just for shits and giggles. If you have different head cannons or have head cannons for companions I did not mention, feel free to comment! Just be civil for the love of Talos.

Companions in High School:

Kaidan:

fast asleep in his desk but everyone's too intimidated to wake him

gets frustrated when others classify him as "just a jock"

Lucien

goes through pencils like their candy

a notebook for every class

color coordinated folders & notebooks

Inigo

brings Mr. Dragonfly to every class

when he graduates Mr. Dragonfly will get an honorary degree (like how service animals do sometimes)

Auri

freaks out other students by eating raw meat

absolutely hates vegans and vegetarians because they go against her entire belief system (the green pact)

cannot sit still to save her life

wants to be outside 24/7

if there's a window, she's claiming the seat by it and will non-stop stare outside

I've finally started dev work on a custom voiced (read: voice-acted! AI can die a painful death) follower mod, the mod I've been wishing I had the time & freedom to make for years now.

I have gotten more work done on this new follower in a week than I have on any other project in the past year or so, and that's because I'm ✨️OBSESSED WITH HER✨️

I've felt buried under past projects & plans & obligations for a long time, so much so that I've considered quitting creating in these spaces altogether. I then asked myself "What character would I make if I started modding today?"
