🩷 Mr. and Mrs. Cake are actually her biological parents, though they had her when they were too young to properly care for her on their own. Igneous Rock and Cloudy Quartz offered to adopt her from them, with the promise that she’d one day be reunited with her “real” parents once she’d grown. The Cakes jumped at the opportunity to house Pinkie when she’d decided to move to Ponyville… though, even now, she doesn’t know they’re related to her. Someday... Someday the time will be right. Hopefully by then it won’t be too late.

🩷 It was difficult coming face-to-face with Silverstream after her divorce with Silver’s cousin, Princess Skystar. Silverstream doesn’t know about their past union (as it was kept hidden away from the public eye by order of Queen Novo herself) and often wonders what she did wrong to warrant being ignored by the Element of Laughter herself. She’d always looked up to Pinkie for her cheerful optimism even in the darkest of times, though she’s not sure she can anymore.

🩷 Penpals with Minuete, who always has time to spill some good ol’ juicy Canterlot gossip, as well as obscure baking tips (her side hobby). Pinkie often uses these recipes for Rainbow and their fellow Wonderbolt companions.

🩷 One of Pinkie’s diiiiistant relatives was a “proxy” of Discord’s, and, as a gift for their devout obedience and loyalty to him, they were granted a bit of chaos magic, which was then passed down to Pinkie over the family lineage.

She parties mostly for the hot gossip, always getting up in everyone else’s business and spreading it to places it shouldn’t, even when it has nothing to do with her. She is a great communicator who knows just what to say to build up others’ trust, only to betray it once she has what she wants. Saltwater uses her talents just to be nosy and manipulative, and it has ended up hurting a lot of creatures in her life. But she is too selfish and caught up in partying to care about how her actions impact others.

Yet another redesign for my Skypie baby, Sponge Cake

She can't transform into a seapony like other Hippogriffs can, but Grandma Novo can use her pearl to transform her for visits. Same as before, she's autistic with a special interest in seashells. While she can't get a cutie mark, rest assured it would definitely feature a seashell! She lives with Pinkie because of how many princess- things Skystar must do, but they meet up often to collect shells as a family.

Since I ship just about everyone in the mane 6 with each other (and of course others outside the group she has LOTS of siblings. Most get along well with her, though some are still getting used to hearing so much about shells.
