Idk if anyone has asked you this before but how do u color?? I love the textured pencil-like strokes in your coloring and wanna know how !!

i use default csp chalk and sometimes charcoal brushes and jst do strokes in an intended color over a base color ^_^

depends on color tone/mood/intent but sometimes i make the base darker, lighter, or just a random incorrect color choice (before covering it up with the right choice) bc you want some of that to show through + can experiment with that in many ways ^_^

(for example in the above pics, i havent decided on talons skin tone yet (in terms of value OR temperature) so i always just pick a random color in that range, then cover it up with whatever adjustment color comes from that)...

switching up directions or outlining an area then scribbling it in, like one might do with crayons, pencils, or markers irl, adds to the effect wee hee ^_^

but honestly u can just do this with whatever brush u have on hand ^_^ i do this often bc sometimes i draw too small for the chalk and charcoal brushes to look right (bc the texture only works at certain sizes)

could you make an user box with a dark foresty theme and a skunk that says "this skunk says: requests are open!" in a thick pixelated font?
