Scenario: in which lando norris’ history with his new teammate leads people to believe they don’t like one another, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. (requested)

Pairing: lando norris x male!reader

Anyone who’s an up-to-date F1 fan knows all about this rivalry, but just in case you don’t, here’s a quick rundown.

It all started in their karting days. Every race they would go wheel to wheel, and often finish right behind the other. They pushed each other, both metaphorically and physically. In one race, a desperate attempt to overtake YN saw Lando Norris taking himself out of the race.

A few years later, the two would be promoted to Formula One, in which Lando signed to Mclaren, and Yn signed to Alpine - a mistake, if you ask me…or any other fan of his. That being said, it wasn’t Yn’s first choice. Mclaren was openly considering Lando Norris AND Yn Ln, but ultimately chose to sign Norris, with Daniel Ricciardo occupying the second seat. This only fed into their rivalry.

During their rookie year, they fought at the back of the pack as they learned the reigns of F1, but as Norris improved throughout the seasons, Yn was left behind. There’s a lot to unpack in regards to that, but in the simplest of terms, his team has constantly prioritized Pierre Gasly, their second driver, despite him being the inferior talent between the two. We’ve seen this happen with other teams, and that never ends well.

All of that leads to this shocking revelation: Yn Ln is joining the Mclaren Formula One Team. While we can’t say for sure how this will play out, we can speculate. Will they move past their differences and become the ultimate team? Or, will they become the next brocedes?

Anri knows how to play the violin. She loves this instrument and started to learn it when she was a little girl, so now she can play quite complicated pieces on it and pick up melodies by ear, but since she rarely practices it, it can take some time to pick up.

Anri has a rather restless sleep, she is easily awakened by external influences. She hardly ever sleeps soundly, which makes her fall asleep occasionally in unusual places: at the desk during class, at the table when doing homework, sometimes, if she is very tired, she can fall asleep even standing up. Nevertheless, it seems that lately she has been sleeping a little better.....

Despite the fact that Anri tries to suppress her emotions and reason in any situation, she is quite emotional: on the basis of her feelings she can do a lot of things, she is pitying and compassionate, so in a situation when people manage to press on her humanity, she does not think with her head.

I was on IG and scrolling through my feeds. I noticed a school play that my niece participated in.

I remembered when I was in my senior year in high school when I also auditioned for the annual play in our school. I auditioned since I want to explore my acting skills outside my theater group (Anak ng Teatro 🎭). I auditioned belting Listen by Beyoncè cause why not? It is theater! I need a broadway-style song 😅 I knew I nailed it but I didn’t look up when the results came if I passed or not.

I wanted to stick to the “status quo” that we have in High School. I belong to the goodie goodies and smarty pips and commoners, not to the arts people. Not to the things that will give someone fame on the whole school. I actually kind of regret not looking into it if I passed or not, and if I passed maybe I did a really great job on the play since I am an amateur Theater Actress since I was eight. But maybe that was really like in high school. You have to keep the status quo if you want to stay friends with your friends or if you don’t want change in your life.

Maybe that is my fear at that time, for my friends to notice me for it. Which got me thinking, it is not really a fear but an overwhelming feeling that I cannot contain cause what do I know at that time? I am only 15 and still discovering myself.

So to all the youths out there, do not be afraid to do something you really are into. Take a step forward. Take a leap. Go for it! 🥰👊🏻

in his mind you were like this elegant dance icon

when he sees you stand on the tip of your toes he winces and worries about you until he sees how your face hasn’t changed its expression at all

when you’re done, he immediately gets up and claps for you

“y/n that was really good” he says with an encouraging smile

his attention goes back to your toes though and he asks if it hurts

and listening to how long it’s taken you to master it really just boosts his respect for you impossibly more

like you’re just so dedicated and talented and stunning and oh my god

he wants to talk more about it with you

he wants to know more about y/n

so as you walk back, he’s politely asking you what it’s like and he’s a good listener ok

it doesn’t feel like he’s interrogating you like you can tell that he’s genuinely interested

he makes you happy to talk about your self

I would feel like I’m giving my self too much attention but not with shoto no 👊🏻
