I agree that it didn’t feel like an episode from the same series.  TBH the pacing did seem really off and it felt like a series of romance tropes.

That was an issue I had too! The pacing was all over the place and honestly I just kept waiting for the actual plot of the episode to kick in and then the episode just sort of ended. Also, I think that was the first time we’ve ever heard actual real world music in this series. That made the ending incredibly jarring on top of everything else.

Had a great time at #c2e2 Got a picture with Nature boy, and saw a lot of cool #cosplay Always fun to say hi to some great local Chicagoland creators and friends (@artedeguerra @adamfarster @jimterryart @skillfulstudios @guerrillapublishing) and some new friends like @kapowschool (love the original art on the delicate origami paper) and @nguyeningit (cannot wait to see the final #plissken commission). Sorry if I missed you, I’ll post all the art and books I got (over the next days) and be sure to tag everyone! And I got to see #billydeewilliams (from a distance—LOL— Had a great time (got a bit overloaded towards the end), but walked away with an empty wallet— a lot of fantastic art and books that have found a good home. Looking forward to next year, and who knows maybe I’ll have a table with @atomic_number14 or be on an author panel. I had my fill, but if you want to see all the amazing artist, writers and ape rival, there is one more day of C2E2! Yeah I guess its like…you grow up with this idea that orphans or abused kids are a good fairy tale start to a story and good for angst fodder and you don’t realize how…fucked up that is?? Its weird to me that adults who should know better don’t think about it tho but yeah. It explains why harry is an abuse survivor but jk seems to just…forget this sometimes lmfao it also irks me that credence was literally the same thing except even more blatant because he was pm disposable (as far as we know atm)

K so I was tagged by @skillfulstudio in a thing so I have to list 5 things that make me happy and then tag some folks. So in no particular order:

1: Pizza- I don’t know what it is about pizza but it is literally the best thing humans have ever invented in the entirety of our long and complicated history on this godforsaken rock.

2: The Beach- Any beach, ever. The cold waters of Maine, or the shores of Florida, the giant waves of Hawaii, the tides of California, anywhere where there’s an ocean, that’s where I want to be. Especially if there’s a lighthouse.

3: My IRL Friends- No matter how bad of a day I’m having, my friends are always there and they always make me smile and forget what was making me feel down. I love them so much.

4: Music- There’s something about music that just makes me happy. Maybe it’s the fact that a person managed to combine different pitches of sounds into something beautiful, I don’t know, but honestly music always calms a bad mood.

5: Drawing- The most soothing activity. ‘Nuff said.
