i’m trying to decide if i should start skateboarding or roller skating, like i wanna be a sk8ter g1rl™️ with a cool skateboard and stuff but i aLsO feel like rollerskating would be easier since i have some experience with it (even though it’s not a lot haha) but also skateboardingggg but also roller skatessss

And just like that, a funny thing happened.

It was Saturday night, my skin was sweaty, my body all sore from a great workout at the gym. Then, the cellphone ran as if the world was coming to an end. Hello! who is this? A fun and energetic voice said: "Hey, what are you doing tonight? A few of my friends are going roller skating. Do you want to come with us?" Oh, Hi Jessy! Great to hear from you! Wow! skating, I have not done that in 15 years!!! Plus, I am tired and sore, am not sure I can walk right now, let alone skate. Then she said: " Well, let's go, come on! It will be lots of fun and extra cardio. Jessy knows me well; she is an old friend we met a few years ago at the gym while training for a bikini contest. So, I thought about it for a second, and said YES!!! Let's go, and have some fun!

That's when it all began, the last time I when skating my son was 8 years old, now he is 23. It was his birthday party, and 10 of his friends had been invited to a pizza gathering and a fun afternoon. I remember, I wore jeans, a cute top, and of course socks and sneakers. I quickly got ready and dressed casually like once before to go skate. I took a selfie and texted her with my evening's wardrobe for approval. To my surprise, she sent one back. But it wasn't what I had expected. There were sparkles and flower sequence on the sheer see-through skin tone bodysuit. Nicely tucked in, ripped tight jeans, and of course beautiful and sexy high heels. While looking at her picture's I must say she looked stunning. I gasped for air and held my eyes in their sockets, then I ran to my closet in total dismay. OMG! What do I wear? Clearly, I was for once feeling underdressed to go skating!

After trying on a few different outfits, I finally settled for a beautiful red top with one shoulder off and is very sexy, silver strapped high heels, dressy earrings, and yes...my tight jeans. In my head, I was worried about the night's outcome. How it was going to turn out? Or if I can even skate dressed so sexy? My mind was all over the place with worry, but I was determined to go on and see what would happen.  I grabbed my keys, my purse, and I was out the door.   We met at the skating venue.  Upon arrival, we saw a long line to pay for the entrance. But as we got closer, the scene was not what we had anticipated. It was a weird crowd, definitely not in heels or sparkly sequence type.

We left the place without a random direction or a plan. Then, as we drove around and wondered where to go...boom!!! We had an epiphany!!  "Let's go, Line Dancing," she said !!! We are close to a place called "Round-Up" where they play great country music, it is lots of fun, you can line dance, and everyone is friendly.  

I hit the car breaks and said: Line Dancing in Heels!!! Are you crazy!!! We need boots!!! Then she said, I know...But at least let's go and check it out. A few minutes later, there we are at the door, being greeted by a handsome cowboy. We both love and enjoy country music. However, definitely high heels are not the best choice for line dancing. In all, we did have a great time, people were friendly, and we did learn that if you get there early, the venue offers line dancing classes. In regards to the roller skating plan, it is still on the table. But no date has been set, and the skating socks are waiting in my car.
