an old lady stopped to tell us what a cute couple we were and how we looked so in love…and I almost melted into a puddle. We aren’t really a couple, but we’re not just friends either. Neither of us told that old lady that we don’t have that label. I looked away, embarrassed. But he turned me to face him, looked at me with an adoring smile. I matched his smile because he was just so handsome as ever, and it was so sweet, what that lady had said.

So then he kissed me. Was he just playing along? Because that old lady was still looking at us, was he just pretending? I kissed him back because I wasn’t. 😭
