• Is Italian, but he’s trilingual (Italian, English, and French).

• Loves marine biology, just like his dad, who he looks up to. I think Maurice definitely has one of the better relationships with his father and family in general.

• Plays the violin

• Collects sea glass with his younger brother since they lived near the beach before moving to England just before the war started. Used to live in Trieste.

• Misses Italy a lot, he prefers sunny weather to dreary English rain. It makes his hair frizzy.

I can talk for sooo long about how the west end version is the superior version. Simply put, all of the orchestral changes were for the better. From a musical perspective alone, the songs are more dynamic as they ride of the slow and dragged on pace of songs like “thin air” and “Tour de France”. I remembered listening to the Broadway album and feeling bored out of my mind because some of the songs were way too slow compared to the west end.

So many of the songs are wayyyy too dragged out that it becomes tiring to listen to it, especially when there’s multiple songs that are basically the same beat wise.

As OP also said, the west end simply has a better opening number. I prefer “flight of the blue fly” to whatever the broadway’s version is. I also prefer how “times are hard for dreamers” is later in the show compared to it being the 5th track of the Broadway version. It makes more sense character wise for the song to be later in the show as we can see how Amelie goes from a girl who keeps to herself to someone who is more outgoing and ready to face the world.

I can go on and on and on, especially about the absolute bore of a song “The Commute” is compared to the superior “The sound of going round in circles”. Also the west end’s French accent which is *chef’s kiss*?! I digress. If you want me to ramble more I’m so down for it.

easy. london because broadway doesn't have the greatest part of the entire musical aka the "oh, oh, oh, oh" melody line and chorus of flight of the blue fly, which then returns in halfway (reprise) and makes me start crying
