Hi guys!

I am shook – shook, I say – to see that it’s been almost a year since I last did a pose pack. This must be rectified and it just so happened that I started making some really cute, simple poses that I think would make for an awesome pack.

The idea for this pack came from the fact that I often use simplistic modelling poses for situations where my sims are just standing and not doing much. I started making them and thought about what I could call these kinds of moments as a whole – you know, moments where you’re just standing, idling, waiting, thinking… and all that popped into my head was that it’s life. At least those moments are a big part of life – and that’s how you get my Life Poses. Eight poses meant for sims who aren’t doing much in particular. So, let’s have a look!

Previews

Note on pose number 4: It should fit with most tables but you may need to hold alt down and tweak the sim’s position to fit.

Note on pose number 7: The pose is made so that it sinks into the ground. It makes the pose more versatile – you can use it on the edge of pools, balconies, piers, etc. To use it on a table, use an OMSP to raise your sim up. You can download the OMSP here.

Info

For sims aged teen and up.

Requires the Pose Player mod.

The Pose Player Interaction Add-On is not required, but recommended.

OMSP is needed for one of the poses.

Comes in list and code only versions.

Known Issues

Pose 6 might sink slightly into the ground. I’ve seen this with some sims but not with others. Pop your sim on an OMSP if this happens and raise as needed.

Depending on clothes, slider settings, hairstyles, and so on, you may see clipping.

Facebook ads are meant to sell things to consumers, but when I see cute stuff in those ads, my mind immediately goes ‘OH HEY, I could make that for my sims!’ And that’s how I ended up with this happy little watermelon stuck in my mind… and my heart. There are two versions, one to decorate your home and one to decorate your sims’ shoulder – and there’s a bonus pose to show it off properly.

Known Issues

There’s a small gap by the zipper on both versions (see photo). This is to do with how Marvellous Designer makes zippers and I didn’t think it was a big enough problem that I wanted to do anything about it.

The accessory version looks a little funky in cas, but fine outside of it. I didn’t take a picture, sorry.

However, the textures aren’t anywhere near as nice on the acc version as the decor one – sorry! I tried to make a nicer version and failed miserably.

I would normally have a custom thumbnail for the accessory version, but I just couldn’t make it work.

The bag’s strap might clip with certain clothes of if you use certain sliders.

The pose might clip with certain clothes or if you use certain sliders.

The accessory version is probably cursed, tbh. Burn a sprig of sage and sprinkle salt in the corners of your house if this affects you.

I share things that I make because I want to contribute to the community that I’ve been a part of for a long time now. This community wouldn’t be anything without the things we create and share and I’m 100% for taking that creativity further by building on my work. one underappreciated feature of hellsing is that there are context clues throughout that the poses aren't just there for the stage direction, but are to be understood as something the characters are actually doing because they're all so flamboyant

it doesn't like, ever really come up, but it's striking when you realise that alucard is doing parodies of walter's poses during their fight, because he's making fun of him. he's even squeezing his hands around invisible wires

Posepack | Tied Up at the Moment

Nooo, don’t leave, I know there’s a bad pun in the posepack title… and in that image tagline, but I won’t make any more in this post, promise! Honestly, I can’t think of anymore, so you guys are safe. For now.

Today, I present some poses that I haven’t even really used yet. Or, rather, I haven’t posted the chapter they’re used in yet. I would say it’s spoilery, but then I think Vittoria has already spent five years tied up and it’s not a spoiler anymore… ANYWAY, three poses today, two that’ll appear in chapters, one that was going to, but won’t (probably).

As usual, they are poselist compatible and there’s a version without. You can use any chair for the two chair poses. But I know what you’re all clamoring to learn… does it have funky elbows? Well, a bit. They might look funny with some shirts. They’re also not good with longer skirts. The third pose also clips into the ground a bit. Why I didn’t notice that when creating it, I don’t know, but lazies gotta lazy, so I didn’t change it. Can they be used for dudes, too… maaaybe? Clipping could be a thing and I haven’t tried it.

With that said, let’s have a look at the goods!

The pose names aren’t consistent, I’m sorry to say – funky stuff happened and I’m the laziest lazy to ever laze, so there.

And finally for the last one:

As you can see on the third one – clipping into the ground is a thing that happens 🙁 I apologise and bow my head in shame. To be fair, unless you go for the direct side view, it’s not that visible – it’s how I didn’t notice it until I was too lazy to change it was too late.

my favorite thing about comics specifically is how much it checks your ego if you think you know how to draw characters. like i’m pretty sure people who don’t do comics assume the hard part would be how *many* drawings are involved in making a comic, and sure that’s part of it, but i think the real challenge is having to accept you’re not as good at drawing characters as you think you are. being able to depict a convincing character, a dynamic pose, or even an expressive face out of context as opposed to within a narrative is such a different skill set in ways i don’t think a lot of people realize
