"Hannie...Hannie...Jeonghan"

"Yes? My love. You're right next to me, just say what you want to say, I'm always listening", a slightly annoyed smile formed and curled upwards on his lips before Jeonghan took another slurp of the Shin Ramyun in front of him.

"Lose the attitude babe...", although he doesn't turn Jeonghan knows when you're glaring lasers into his head, he's claimed it's been his "superpower" since you've gotten together.

"You know I could never y/n - anyways as you were telling me..."

"Right! As I was telling you, look at this." A small scoff escaped your lips as you shoved your phone in front of Jeonghan's face. His eyes take a second to focus before he slumps his shoulders and looks at you with defeated eyes.

A large sigh comes from him as he speaks between chews, "Why are you looking at that?".

"I was just curious what Carats think of you these days, is all" A mischievous smile on your lips as you muse at him.

"That is not an accurate way to find that answer and you know that. Plus, I'm eating! How could you shove that in my face when I'm literally stuffing my face? Love."

"I'm not the one eating and you NEVER talk to me when you're eating, I have to entertain myself some how hannie."

"But with Smut? Of me?"

"C'mon~ It's funny!"

"It's not y/n..."

"Yes, it is! They think you're so nasty~!"

Another defeated and angry look is shot your way as he takes a spoonful of rice, dips it into the broth, and then shovels it into his mouth.

"Like I said not a good way to find what Carats think of me. If you really want to know you should look on Twitter or something, babe."

"But that's no fun" You give a small pout and he can't resist leaning over to give you a quick peck to make it disappear before his eyes.

There's a pause before the mischievous smile now spreads on his face with his little devilish squint in his eyes, "Or."

"Or..."

"Or you're showing me that stuff because you want me to do that to you..." His eyes meet yours and now you're the one with the disgruntled expression. A giggle from him turns into a laugh as you lightly punch his chest.

"As if, Yoon Jeonghan...Seriously, in your dreams" You let out a harsh scoff as you turn your head and roll your eyes in annoyance.

"No baby...In your dreams." He waits for you to turn back towards him before attempting to give you a wink.

"Oh woah, look at Mr. Seducer here everyone! A real ladies' man, Y'know I wonder if Carats know how much of a loser you are Han." This time you give him a smirk with your sarcastic tone.

"Loser! Ha, never been a loser. I win the games, I win the awards..." He starts listing things off on his fingers, slowly inching towards you before grabbing your shoulders and turning you to fully face him. "And I win the most wonderful person in the world to share my life with."

You roll your eyes but your mouth betrays you as it curls into a smile.

"See and I keep the love of my life smiling too~ I never lose."

"Shut up, Hannie."

Another giggle comes from him before he finishes the last bit of food before him. Well satisfied he leans back into his chair, gives out a big huff, and pats his stomach.

You're still scrolling on your phone when Jeonghan leans over and encircles your waist with his arms before resting his chin on your shoulder.

A whisper reaches your ear and you can practically hear the smile that accompanies the words, "I think you secretly do want me to do that stuff with you y/n..."

"Yah! Yoon Jeonghan!"

ANYWAYS as a jamil enthusiast i ask myself that question too 🤠;;

dont know what kinda hypnotizing magic he did on me but it worked bc i was incredibly neutral about jamil when i first saw him and now he lives in my head rent-free

okay in all seriousness i ended up rambling about jamil and why i like him personally and it ended up longer than intended so uh proceed with caution under the cut 🧍

(i had to look up the characters you mentioned,,, i know both of the anime but BARELY know the characters so idk how to compare other than they seem to be the benevolent hero/protagonist type???) (so on that note theyre actual opposites??? of jamil 😭)

okay so for me i personally just find jamil’s character really fascinating (and relatable???)

like his character arc drew me in i think, i legit do not recall 100% how i started liking him bc he was NOT my usual type either

i saw him before book 4 and went “okay” 🤷 and moved on 😭

my usual type is kalim actually (the sunshine type with a depressing reason for being all sunshine-y lmao) but. i did not vibe at first with how kalim looks so i didnt really get attached to him either 🤧 (im absolutely fine with him now tho 😭 ive learned to appreciate him more thanks to other kalim enjoyers)

(and tbf a lot of twst characters i didnt think i would like but here we are)

back to jamil. alright maybe it’s his looks. maybe bc he’s a pretty guy idk. but if that’s the case i wouldve been all over vil bc he’s the definition of beautiful gorgeous guy who doesnt fw with gender norms but im NOT. instead it’s JAMIL.

i think it doesn’t help that aladdin is one of my favorite disney movies too 😭 jafar has that two-faced, manipulative disposition with a side of dramatic, and insane and that’s. actually just jamil.

so maybe i guess what drew me in with jamil is that sense of theatrics, the dramatics ;;; that dichotomy of having that level-headed, intelligent front he puts up but then also having this unhinged, unfiltered side that he shows when he is free to be more himself

i’m a sucker for seemingly calm and collected characters on the outside and then their true self being WAY more different and expressive

(i think this would make more sense if you’ve seen aladdin and if you remember how jafar is like in the movie) (i am also choosing to ignore that ONE scene with jafar and jasmine towards the end iykyk) (and the twst characters shouldnt be considered one-to-one with their disney counterparts anyway but i digress)

also scalding sands event my beloved it might be what actually sold me on him bc things like his little sister reveal and his childhood stories wrecked me

(also also i’m obsessed with his canon dynamic with kalim but that’s another thing altogether)

or maybe it’s not that deep and that i just grew attached for no particular reason 🧍 (and that reasoning in of itself should be completely fine as well if that’s your case! just. like who you like, there really doesnt have to be a reason as long as you enjoy them)

uhhhh in conclusion,,, jamil’s a really complex character tbh i could say so much more about his relatability but i feel like im already exposing myself a lot LMAO and i dont think i can properly articulate with words anyway how deeper his character is beyond my surface level thoughts

Kiss Kiss Fall into another old hyperfixation

Anyway, I randomly wanted to redesign the main cast of Ouran in my style/ with headcanons and my own embellishments

Here's a screenshot redraw, I'll put all the redesigns below the break bc I did all the main characters & wanna talk about the choices I made. Also I made up that uniform redesign on the spot bc I when I was doing the characters I just put them in casual clothes lmao

(I might do some others later, like Renge, Kasanoda, Yasuchika, Benibara, etc.)

Going in order of my least favorite to top favorite. And dont mind that I didn't color the clothes, that's not whats important here lmao

Mori is only at the bottom because I don't like the drawing that much, I still think the design is pretty good. Though, like right when I finished coloring, I decided a bun/top-knot would look better so it's a bit disappointing there. In my head, Mori is kind of struggling to figure out who he is & what he wants to do, which is why he follows Honey around and doesn't talk much. He does genuinely like being around the other hosts though.

Also, the undercut because A) he has the reputation for being the scary one & it kinda suits that, B) uh do I even have to say it? ...its hot He does lowkey look like Sokka from Avatar tho, especially with the blue accents

Honey is next because again I think the drawing itself is a little off and the design is pretty close to Basil from Omori, which i didn't notice until it was too late lmao. One of the main things I didn't like about his character in the show was obviously how childlike he was & how girls still flirted with him even though he looked and acted 6; So now he still acts a bit childish but doesn't play it up as much & definitely has a more normal voice, not a fckn child's.

Haruhi! I definitely had to keep her glasses cuz they were really cute and kinda sold the whole 'commoner' thing in a way. But other than that I mainly wanted to balance out her femininity and masculinity to make her more androgynous/nonbinary/gender-fluid since she definitely has some of that going on in the show as is. I also gave her dark circles under her eyes to kinda show that she worked really hard to get into Ouran with low status.

Next up is Tamaki of course, getting into the characters I'm most happy with the designs of. One small thing I tried to do for each of them was give them varying hair tones; so even though Honey and Tamaki are both blond, I went very platinum-blond with him. When I started drawing him, my only real thought was "he has to be a pretty boy" so I dont have much to say about my choices, but i do think I succeeded. Don't mind the modern mullet thing, I can't stop it

Kyouya is definitely one of my favorite characters as is, seeing as he has one of the more fleshed out & heart-wrenching backstories in the show. I think the only thing I really wanted to change was getting rid of the Anime Bangs, so I just gave him this kinda sleek, kinda messy pushed-back look with a blue tint. Even though it's simple, I really struggled to come up with anything, until I found a page from the author saying smth like "I don't like the idea of him wearing neat clothes" with a picture of him in like a track suit so I did kinda the same outfit

My absolute #1 favorites, Hikaru & Kauru. They're honestly the ones that started it all because Kauru has been my favorite since I first saw the halloween episode (iykyk).

I don't know why, but I wanted their hair to be fluffier/curly and more of a natural(?) ginger color. I knew I wanted Kauru's to be redder and Hikaru's a bit lighter/blonder, but only subtly. I also gave Kauru a scar on his cheek from that time in Karuizawa, but most notably, I gave them blue and pink eyes as their signature colors. Lastly, their expressions are slightly different, because no matter how much they are in sync and try to match each other perfectly, Kauru's a much gentler soul than Hikaru, so I made Hikaru's smile a bit more snarky while Kauru's is soft.

I started playing the Sims 1 in 2002 at the age of 16. I don't remember why my mom bought me the Sims because there were pretty raunchy commercials airing at the time and my parents are strict Fundies (iykyk) but I guess she didn't see them??? If she had, I'd never have been allowed to play, but that's a story for another time. Anyway, I got so into it, I was almost late to my first job more than once. It's all been downhill since then lmao

Apparently some people do not get brain freeze because of a specific gene and apparently I am some people. I think I was in my mid 20s when I realized that people actually do get an ice cream headache and aren't just being weird. I have never experienced it myself...and never will. 😏

I taught myself Korean once because I was bored. I have never used it and have forgotten most of what I learned but at least I can still read Hangul.

Besides his chronic pain i wont stop talking about, he has AuDHD, depression, MaDD and C-PTSD ✨

His C-PTSD symtoms didn't show much until adulthood (late 20s-early 30s), because that was when his brain processed the environment as safe and stopped being in permanent survival mode. However, the symptoms of everything else have showed since he was Really young, his MaDD was at its worst when he was around 12 (iykyk) and got better since he left south park, mainly after he started therapy (took him long enough smh)

📈 - What age was their disability formed, or became apparent, at?

The first time one of his deaths still hurt after the fact was on s3 e1, after Kelly revived him. However, he didn't give it much thought, thinking it was just what getting killed by lightning was like. Then it was kind of like a roulette whether it'd hurt or not, but even when it did it was incredibly easy to ignore - until his teens, when he died so often (more on purpose than not) it quickened the effects a lot

🦮 - Do they have supportive friends and/or family? How do they help on bad days? (i think you meant this one)

Yeah, he does! His friends are generally supportive, even cartman after he gets over his assholery. His siblings too :) stuart however is an asshole, and even though kenny went NC with carol i feel like she'd be quite supportive idk. And about how they help on bad days, cuddles from butters mostly do the trick XD if butters isn't there though, more often than not will someone at the very least pay attention to him, either helping out by getting him stuff (food etc) or doing something to keep him entertained (talking, board games, depends on how hes feeling tbh)

He used to have his orange parka, but since karen inherited he doesn't have it anymore, so i would say he doesn't really have any comfort items? Unless we count the mimikyu plush, but idk if that would really qualify as a comfort item much, other than making him think of butters whenever he sees it :)

-He diagnosed craig's autism way before any professional did, but he thought craig was aware of it so he didn't say anything 💀 (he has the strongest autismdar ever) -Most of his daydreams are similar to the stuff he thought in the cheesing episode in some way or another -He used to deal with flashbacks by going on normally with his life, to the point nobody but his friends could ever tell he was going through The Horrors - however as his PTSD worsened he couldn't do that anymore

YUP!!! His parents didn't think it was autism at first, "no everyone does that", surprise all the Tucker's are autistic XD They were a bit confused at first, not knowing what to do, but they were still super supportive about it :) Tricia was as much of a dick to him as usual so nothing new on her side lmao, and his friends were cool about it as soon as they learnt about his diagnosis (cue teasing from kenny and jimmy for thinking he was neurotipical smh, nah craig sry but you stuck with the nds 💀). Also, TWEEK, boy is so loud and that makes him feel so guilty because of how it overwhelms craig ;w; he was the first person who knew craig got diagnosed besides his family, and he did his best to accomodate him as much as he needed :3

Not comforting autism-wise but comforting regardless, the shit ton of (accurate to constellations) glow in the dark stars in his bedroom, he cannot sleep without them. He also has a tiny alien plush keychain he found at Tweek's house and Tweek insisted he should keep it (neither of them know where it came from 💀), so that's another thing :)

-After the diagnosis he refused to leave his room for weeks because he didn't know how to cope with it, and nobody besides his family and tweek were allowed to come in during that period - in the end though, with their help he accepted it -Something I've mentioned a couple times already but is hilarious to me: he didn't talk until he was four (how did it take him so long to get diagnosed), and his first words were a "cállate pendejo" directed at cartman 😭

Family? Haha ok next question--- About his friends though, they do their best to help him with it. Most times during the worst days he can only stand Craig's company, who will listen to him and try to help him feel safe, however normally he's ok enough to be with others just fine. He gets accomodations at college and later at work too, like being allowed to stay home some days or to leave early

YES YES YES !!! Storytime, after craig and tweek dated for three years, craig's anniversary gift was a green stuffed stegosaurus (since tweek was fixated on dinosaurs back then), which tweek named peanuts :) Peanuts became the way tweek would deal with any anxiety attacks, but he tugged at him so hard he broke - however, laura patched peanuts up for tweek (after craig quite literally begged her to, she would've done it anyway but he did anyway) Then, when they moved out, peanuts disappeared :( until the tuckers found him under craig's bed, who knows how he ended up there XD SO tweek's comfort item is the oldest most used up cutest little stego ever :3 (also does having a room full of spiders count as a comfort item? idk but he does cuz he loves spiders, craig despises that room with his whole soul poor boy hates spiders so much 😭)

“Not this again, Taehyung.” You dismiss the pouting man who sits across from you at the little table in yours and Jimin’s kitchen. “You’re getting the same answer as last year.”

“At four. But I think I’m going to go a little earlier to talk to Mr. Smith about the script.” Jimin answers, eyes focused on the papers in hand again. “Are you going with me?”

“No, I need to go shopping for something cute for the New Years party.” You nudge your boyfriend’s shoulder and smirk at him, “You know, the party where you and I can make out at midnight.”

Jimin chuckles before closing the script and setting it onto the table, “Hmm,” His arm goes around your shoulder and brings you closer to him. “We should start kissing during the countdown so when it turns midnight it’s like we’re connected at the end of one year and the beginning of another.”

“That’s a great idea.” Taehyung cuts in, “We as in the three of—”

“—Taehyung.” You start giggling. “You said you wanted to go shopping with me, right? Let’s leave now, I want to go to a few places.”

“You’re leaving now?” Jimin asks you. “Mind picking up pizza and bringing it back? We can eat together when I’m home too.”

After three stores, you finally find some better options at the fourth one. It’s not like you don’t think other choices weren’t cute…you just weren’t feeling them. But Taehyung urged you to come to another store that’s known for being quite pricey but you honestly haven’t spoiled yourself in a while so why not?

“What about this?” Taehyung shows you a short, little red dress but you aren’t a fan of the sleeves so you shake your head and he groans. “Really? It’s nice, isn’t it?” He eyes it again before shrugging and placing it back on the rack.

You slide your fingers over a handful of different dresses on another rack, “I kind of want something—oh.” You pause, grabbing the hanger of something that finally catches your eye. “Now this is something I would wear.” You bring the dress away from you, excitement bubbling. “I’ll try it on!” You exclaim, spinning in the direction of the fitting rooms. 

“Okay, I’ll get into my photographer persona.” Taehyung smirks, “Jimin is going to go crazy.”

You get into the changing room, discarding your jeans and fluffy, turtle neck sweater. The spaghetti strap dress is a gorgeous shade of viridian, fluid and silky. It falls over your body in one smooth motion, not too tight but not too loose. It goes below your knees but one leg is revealed up to your upper thigh thanks to the flirty slit. Oh yes, this dress is perfect.

You do a few turns, checking out your figure and feel pretty good about it. But of course, you’d value another opinion. You pull the dressing room curtain to the side and strut out cutely while Taehyung gasps loudly making you laugh.

Taehyung lifts his eyes to you, “Ohoho.” He starts wiggling his brows, “You trying to get him to pop the question already? This dress might be able to do that.”

“Uh huh.” Taehyung puts his phone back into his pocket. “I sent you the pics.”

“Nice.” You turn from him to head back into the dressing room. “I’ll get changed.”

“Sorry, sorry.” Jimin laughs, letting Taehyung give him a tight hug. Jimin returns it just as tight.

“I missed you guys.” Taehyung slurs, pulling away from Jimin before he’s scooping you up next. 

“You saw us yesterday.” You tease your friend, the smell of alcohol basically leaking from his skin but his cologne creates something more pleasant. “I see you’re already going hard.”

“When am I not hard? But yeah, I am extra hard right now.” Taehyung says with a straight face but you and Jimin both try so hard not to laugh, unable to keep a straight face. “Anyway, since you’re here it’s time to get fucked up.”

You are wondering how Taehyung is still standing at this point, but his tolerance for alcohol is truly something. Although, he is very drunk.

“And I told him, wait, what did…oh yeah, I said—Oh! Jungkook!” Taehyung stops telling a story that made zero sense when he spots the host of the party. “Come!” He excitedly waves him over.

Jungkook gives a nod in greeting before he starts walking over, his eyes on you and Jimin when he openlychecks you out. Not that you noticed. But Jimin sure did.

“Wow,” Jungkook grins. “You look great.” He says. Only to you. Then he smirks at Jimin, “You too, bud.” 

“Thanks.” Jimin deadpans. 

Jimin is never outwardly jealous but this Jungkook guy really likes pushing his buttons like this lately. You guys barely even know the dude. What is he? Some kind of girlfriend stealer?

“Thanks for inviting us!” You tell him, “Your place is super nice. You’re in college, aren’t you supposed to be broke and suffering like the rest of us?”

“My parents are loaded.” Jungkook shows a toothy grin.

“Wow.” You nod, completely impressed. “Must be nice.”

“Eh, I guess.” He shrugs, “If nice is being totally controlled and afraid of them then yeah, sure.” He continues to smile while your face shifts into something more awkward.

“No big deal, will probably need therapy later. But right now?” He nods in satisfaction as he eyes his apartment. “Well, right now, I’m living my best fucking life.”

You slowly nod too before leaning into Taehyung, “This kind of got dark.”

Taehyung cackles loudly, “Jungkook is hilarious, right?”

“That’s a word for it.” Jimin says.

“Anyway, have you guys eaten?” Jungkook asks, smile still on his lips. “There’s lots of snacks! Oh, actually…” Jungkook holds up a finger before disappearing for a moment when he returns with a couple of brownies. “You guys have to try these. They’re too die for.”

“Brownies!” You slur, excitement lighting up your eyes. Your eager hands reach for two pieces, handing one to Jimin who just frowns. 

“I shouldn’t.” He looks legit sad. “I have to show my abs in one scene and I want them to—”

“Babe.” You cut him off, voice muffled because you’re already taking several way too big bites of the treat. “One brownie isn’t going to make you lose your abs. Just eat it.”

“She’s right!” Taehyung cheers alongside you when Jimin finally starts eating the brownie as well.

“So yummy, right?” You even lick your fingers after finishing it. “I want another one.”

“Eh, one is probably enough.” Jungkook tells you, “I should probably go mingle with some other guests. See you guys around.” He winks before walking off.

“That guy flirts with you.” Jimin leans into your body, his own drunkenness evident. “I don’t like it.”

“He doesn’t!” You say, completely distracted when you hear music and singing in the living room. “I think they’re doing karaoke!” 

Jimin’s interest gets piqued. “Karaoke?”

“Don’t forget to kiss me at midnight guys.” Taehyung giggles to himself, watching as you both begin to disappear from his view.

He decides to head to the bathroom, his bladder complaining about all the liquid he’s consumed tonight when he runs into Jungkook again. 

“Yooooo.” Jungkook pats Taehyung on the back, “Did you see Jimin’s face when I checked y/n out?” He begins snickering, “Ah, he was so pissed.”

Taehyung laughs too, raising a hand for Jungkook to high five it with his own. “This plan will totally work.”

“He still hasn’t told her, huh?” Jungkook asks Taehyung, “About his audition?”

“Nope.” Taehyung looks sad now, “Not at all.”

“Maybe it won’t go anywhere though!”

“Jimin’s the fucking best. He’s going to get accepted, dude.” Taehyung slumps his shoulders, “I just hope it doesn’t tear them apart or anything. They’re soulmates.”

“I thought you said you were also their soulmate?” Jungkook jokes even though Taehyung takes that seriously.

“I am.” He says firmly and cutely. “That’s why I know they’re destined for one another. Fate and all of that.”

“You’re so weird about the three of you.” Jungkook shakes his head with a chuckle. 

Taehyung suddenly remembers his dream from last night, “Want to know something fucking wild?” Taehyung slurs with a smirk.

“What?”

“They’re…” Jungkook pauses, biting his lip for a moment. “I told you guys they were pot brownies, right?”

“They’re what now?” You stick a finger in your ear and pretend like you’re cleaning it. “I don’t think I heard that right.”

“Brownies…that have…they’re edibles?” Jungkook smiles nervously. “Didn’t I say that?”

“I don’t think those words ever came out of your mouth.” Jimin suddenly looks panicked. “I’m going to get high?!” He asks in a whisper shout. “I’ve never been high before,” He looks at you now, “Babe, what if I freak out?”

“Woah, woah.” Jungkook puts a hand to Jimin’s shoulder, “You’ll only freak out if you think you’ll freak out. It’s supposed to feel good so just tell yourself that.”

“That’s your advice?” Jimin looks at Jungkook incredulously, “To brainwash myself?”

“Yes.” Jungkook answers with a straight face. “You’ll love it, dude.”

“I think I love it.” You mumble, realizing you do feel a bit different than just drunk. Your entire body feels insanely good and things look a little like a dream world. “I think mine has already started taking effect?” You ask Jungkook.

“How do I know if mine has hit?” Jimin still feels panicked.

“You’ll just know.” Jungkook smiles awkwardly now, “Sorry that you guys didn’t know…my bad.”

“This is about to fucking suck.” Jimin groans, his hand looking for yours for comfort.

“Wait, Rush Hour 2!” Jimin yells in excitement and you match his enthusiasm when you yell as well.

“Oh my god, I love that movie! We should watch it!”

“Should we tell Taehyung to come watch it with us?” Jimin asks, “He loves it too.”

“Duh.” You sing out, alcohol still buzzing through your veins and this brownie in full effect. “Oh my god,” You suddenly pout. “I just remembered Taehyung.”

“Me too.” Jimin nods. “He’s probably drunk off his ass, trying to make some girl fall in love with him.”

“He only deserves the best.”

“Definitely.” Jimin agrees quickly, “He’s the best there is.”

“Hey,” You say the word slowly, an idea suddenly coming to mind. “What if…”

“What if…what?” Jimin’s eyes gaze into your with his innocence. 

“I mean…” You think for another second, “What if we just give the dude what he wants one time?”

Jimin only offers a blank stare, not totally understanding.

“We could just make his whole life complete.” You shrug, “Triple kiss.” You finally clarify.

Jimin’s expression doesn’t change. 

“You know,” You start a demonstration, your lips puckering as you make a ridiculous smooching sound.

“We are going to…kiss Taehyung?” Jimin asks, still kind of clueless. “On the lips?” “Barely, you really think three people can lock lips completely successfully?” You start giggling, “It’s not a big deal, right?”

“Well,” Jimin looks up thinking about it. “Not really? He’s going to mention it every chance he gets though, you know that right? He would probably even bring it up at our wedding.”

“Classic Taehyung.” You laugh, body still tingling on your drunken high. “So?”

“Okay.” Jimin grins, “Sober me will probably think we’re ridiculous.”

“We are ridiculous.” 

“Then let’s go find him.” Jimin tries to stand but his body is feeling heavy. “After I learn how to stand on my own two feet again.”

You try to lift from the couch as well but you’re facing the same issue. “Okay, me too.”

Many minutes pass, you and Jimin tangled up on the couch as you giggle. Jimin checks his phone again and he snaps his eyes to you. “Shit. Two minutes.”

“Oh shit,” You repeat. “Taehyung.”

You guys finally successfully rise from the couch, feet walking everywhere as you search for Taehyung and you finally find  him out on the balcony with some girl.

“Taehyung!” You draw out his name cutely. He turns to see you and Jimin and he very drunkenly grins at you both.

“My bestest friends in the whole world.” He slurs out. “This is,” He glances at the smiling girl but with a dopey smile his eyes meet yours again. “I don’t remember her name.”

The girl’s smile drops before she’s muttering something and walking back inside. Taehyung doesn’t even really notice.

“Taehyung, we have like 30 seconds until it’s midnight.” Jimin tells his best friend, “And I think we’re about to make you the happiest man alive.”

“Man alive?” Taehyung drunkenly repeats the words before he’s looking up at the night sky, “I am a man.” He says firmly. “A manly man.”

You furrow your brows, “Yeah, totally. Well-“

“—I think my goal in life is to,” He clasps his hands together, eyes still on the sky as he sighs out dramatically. “To be the manliest man. Yes, the man who man’s so hard. The manliest man who has ever…manned before.” 

“What the fuck are you…look, do you want to triple kiss or not?” Jimin gets straight to the point and when his words reach Taehyung’s ears, he has never spun in his spot so fast to look at you both.

“Did you just say the words that would make me die and go to heaven?”

“You have like,” Jimin stops talking, gesturing towards the door when you can all hear everyone inside chanting numbers starting with 10 as they countdown. “Like, 10 seconds.”

“Holy fuck, okay, okay.” Taehyung slurs, “Dreams do come true!”

You giggle loudly, warmth spreading all over your body. “Come on,”

“Wait, wait.” Taehyung starts to panic when everyone is yelling out the number 5. “Record it! Record it! Monumental moment.”

“I’m not—Fine, fuck it.” You say, quickly getting out your phone and sliding over to the camera and pressing record.

Three. Two. One.

You position the camera away from you, trying your hardest not to laugh when the three of you clumsily collide. More pairs of lips than your used to. 

You each pull away, laughter erupting from you and Jimin and Taehyung throws a fist in the air, pumping it excitedly. “Fuck yeah!” He screams at the top of his lungs. 

You and Jimin shake your heads, still laughing at the entire thing before Jimin’s arm wraps around your waist, pulling you to him. “Happy New Year babe.” 

“Happy New Year.” You say, kissing Jimin deeply while Taehyung continues to dance around.

It’s noon when you and Jimin wake up from your crazy night, limbs tangled in bed while he gives you lazy kisses, telling you how much he loves you. You two got a ride home around 2am and slept like babies.

He watches as you roll out of bed and head into your shared bathroom. He leans into his pillow, smile on his face as he stares up at the ceiling when suddenly his phone starts vibrating on the nightstand next to him. He’s wondering who is calling.

Jimin grabs the phone and feels his stomach flip flop, his thumb hesitant to slide the answer button. Why are they calling? This soon? He glances at the bathroom, wondering how long you’ll be in there. He quickly gets out of bed, phone in hand as he exits the bedroom.

He finally answers.

His mind is whirling.

He’s trying to process all the words he’s hearing on the other line.

Fly out. Audition. New York.

He feels a huge rush of adrenaline coarse through his body but he also feels something anxious build inside him as well.

After the phone call ends, he takes a seat on the sofa. Eyes not focusing on anything when you finally walk into the living room.

“There you are!” You chirp, “Should I make us some coffee?”

You begin walking over to the kitchen when there’s knocking on your front door. You lift a brow towards the door, wondering who would be here right now. Peeking through the peephole you see an obviously hungover Taehyung.

“Well, well, well.” You swing the door open, letting in your friend. “Look who’s awake.”

“Don’t remind me.” Taehyung grumbles, “Couldn’t fall back asleep after throwing up three times.”

“Damn.” You shake your head, “That rough?”

“Probably worse.” He shudders, eyes going to Jimin. “Sup man.”

“So why are you here?” Jimin asks with a teasing tone. 

“It’s a holiday!” Taehyung tells you both, “Of course we should spend it together. Oh yeah, my sister will actually be in town today. Her and her boyfriend broke up.”

You frown, “Oh no, is she okay?”

Taehyung snorts. “You’ve met Dae. We should be asking if the boyfriend is okay.”

“That’s…yeah, that’s fair.” You laugh. 

“Anyway, going to take a pee pee.” Taehyung alerts you both.

“Why do you have to say it like that?” Jimin complains, “Just say you got to pee.”

“Whatever.” Taehyung grumbles, feet taking him to the guest bathroom. “Oh yeah,” He stops, turning back to face you. “I can’t believe I didn’t make it to midnight last night.” He says, clearly disappointed. “I went too hard.”

You and Jimin share a look before you clear your throat, “What…what do you mean?”

“I fell asleep before the countdown!” He cries out, “How unlucky. I totally blacked out last night.”

“You…” You look at Jimin again, you two speaking with your eyes. A clear amusement getting shared between you both. “You don’t remember getting to midnight?”

“No?” Taehyung pouts.

“Damn, you were super fucked up.” You choke on your laughter, “Oh my god.”

“What?”

“Nothing.”

“Stop stalling me, or I’ll pee pee my pants.”

“Word it like that again Taehyung and we’re kicking you out.” Jimin shakes his head but he’s laughing. Taehyung waves him off, finally getting inside the bathroom.

You rush to Jimin, both of you trying to be quiet.

“He doesn’t remember the kiss.” You try to contain your laughter, “He has no idea we made him the happiest dude alive.”

“He’s going to be so pissed when he finds out.”

“If he finds out.”

“Oh.” Jimin smirks, “You’re saying we don’t tell him?”

“He doesn’t have to know what he doesn’t remember.” You shrug, evil smirk on your face. “Ah, he has no idea how lucky he got.”

“What about that video?” Jimin questions you.

“We can show it to him on his wedding day and make him cry tears of joy.” You snicker, “Actually that wouldn’t be fair to his future wife.”

“No, it’s genius.” Jimin tells you quickly. “Let’s take this secret until his wedding.”

“It is genius.”

“This might be our best prank yet.”

“Is it really a prank though?”

“Eh, close enough.” Jimin chuckles, “He’s going to lose his mind one day.”

Taehyung finally comes out from the bathroom, taking a seat on the sofa next to Jimin. You join the boys as you three share stories from last night that are actually remembered.

Everything feels perfect. Because everything is perfect.

Turn Week 2024– Day 2: Switching Sides

I have been thinking about this entry all day (and then some since I also tried contemplating the prompt yesterday lmao), and I truly cannot come up with anything too interesting or original, let alone plausible, so, all realism aside: Baker.

I cannot see this happening in canon at all, but hear me out for a split second: In an extremely self-indulgent, separate universe. Instead of killing Baker when he is discovered, because clearly Abe didn’t want to, Abraham simply gets into something of a fight with him, and, if he’s successfully able to knock him out cold and/or shoot him somewhere less fatal(???), he manages to take him as a prisoner and catch up to some of the rebels who were still taking boats out of Long Island, where Baker could remain alive, if as a prisoner of war.

This would mean Mary and Abe’s whole fake story wouldn’t be that rebels burned down their farm, but that Abraham and Ensign Baker were “captured by rebels,” where somehow only Abe could escape (unrealistic 🤪), and he could tell his “horror story” of his couple days in captivity— all the while, Baker, now surrounded by rebels day and night, might slowly start to understand why the patriots do what they do, and see that British rule has caused some genuine suffering for some of the colonists living under it. Though I’d imagine it would take considerable time for him to get that perspective, Baker, much like Hewlett, struck me as one of those redcoats who joined up because he truly believed it was helping people, that he was doing what was best for his fellow citizens— think back to his little monologue to Abe, about how the Woodhulls were a symbol of what he came here to fight for, as opposed to someone like Simcoe, who’s just there for vengeance and violence. So who knows??

I don’t know if I can ever imagine Baker entirely turning coats and fighting for the patriots, but perhaps in this alternate universe he could have survived until the end of the war, and by the time it was all said and done, he could understand why Abe and every other rebel fought for their own respective cause.

This feels right now like THE dumbest, most half-assed AU prompt I have ever come up with, but I really wished Baker lived (though I don’t place the blame on Abe at all, since it was about self-defense), and that he could’ve come around somehow 🥲 Personally, I can’t picture anything like this occurring in canon, but alas I guess that’s why we have wack-ass alternate universes in the first place 🤪

Jin arrived at HYBE and started live, I missed him so much omg 😭🫶 it sounds super unreal to watch him start live, he was still in his uniform and shared stories from the military, showed his awards/certificates etc.

I noticed his voice became a bit deeper and he talks a little bit differently yknow like a soldier but that's obvious because he spent a really LONG time in the military, and that is SO adoring 🥹💕💕 the way he talks, the voice I don't know why it is so adoring to me I missed him so so so much.

normally im much better looking but at my discharge ceremony earlier i cried a bit so im a bit swollen. and i came back to the company and the staff greeted me with posters and everything and this flower *brings out huge flower* oh okay go away now *tosses flowers*

🐹 I came into the building and all the staff were there with a huge bouquet and telling me welcome back! I was so happy and the tears came. I cried twice.

As a soldier, I was telling the soldiers that they shouldn't cry, but they were crying and they were soldiers I spent a year and a half with and I cried.

🐹 Everyone, I've been discharged. It's been a year and a half and I wanted to look good for you but. *shows certificate* It's official. I got a lot of awards. I think I recieved 7-8 awards.

🐹 There was another soldier named Kim Seokjin in our unit so they called my name out twice and I got confused.

🐹 now! i need to talk about festa. i gave some good ideas but it was criticized! i proposed something for festa since ill have to do it alone, so i talked to the director in charge of festa around oct/nov? but they said theyve already said theyve planned most already. so i suggested a free hug, and they said no. so i pitched my idea of doing a free hug at an outdoor location where we do festa. but they said people could get hurt. but i kept saying i wanted to do it for a month or so because i wanted to hug those who have waited for me. so the company was in discussions, and they proposed that instead of a free hug, how about indoors where one person at a time is let in, and i tried to argue against saying i wanted an outdoor one. and they also said i should only do 50 since its the day after my discharge but i said no, 3,000 people and they finally agreed to 300, and i said no as much people as possible, and they said 500 and i said no, more and we finally agreed on 1,000 people

and this is something i personally wanted to do, so im not sure if the other members will do it. i dont really want this to be pushed to the other members as well. this is purely my interest although i was proposed other events such as fan signs. but i really wanted to do hugs

🐹 i discharged today right? so i havent had much to prepare, but i will do something, but i havent had much to practice and i havent sung in around a year and a half, and i rode in the car with jimin today and we've both talked about how we both are out of practice

now that im a free civilian, i will come to see you often!

foul work asking a sonic fan to rank music LOL so imma go all out and list top 5 albums, vocal themes, and stage songs so i can list as many as possible, but in no particular order lmao

theme tracks

live and learn (well yeah lol) (there’s the original sonic symphony on youtube still and i watched the livestream when it premiered and was vibing enjoying myself, like sonic music orchestrated this is peak but then we got to this song and i was fcking sobbing lmao)

knight of the wind (i like rock to orchestra instruments and this song made me realise that lol. banger theme to a banger game btw lol like i think every sonic fan once they join the online community has a game they’re shocked to hear the general consensus is that it sucked and this was mine lol. i’m glad everyone has come around to it lol)

my sweet passion (IM AN AMY STAN also!!!! her song is the vocal theme you actually have to sit down with to understand and that in itself shows how much depth her character has and i’m not joking when i say she’s the blueprint to all my favourite characters lol)

his world (i like different versions for different reasons but i listen to the og version the most. it really gets the epic vibe sonic 06 was going for and merges sonic’s rap/hiphop influences he was lowkey founded on and the rock music he was known for at the time. i digress but the music direction has shifted to edm so i’d be very curious if a sonic theme in the current era would also have edm 🤔)

sonic adventure (my go to album when i’m drawing actually lol. i wasn’t around for the og dreamcast drop so idk what marketing was like but since it’s the game that defined sonic’s transition into 3d (sorry if that phrasing activated a fight response lol) i like to think the snazzy jazzy sound the entire album has, which carries forward sonic’s 90s vibes he’s had in 2d as well, is like sonic team saying ‘welcome to sonic’s snazzy jazzy world like you’ve never seen before!!!’ and it’s nice lol)

sonic adventure 2 (i……… am an adventure era girlie lmao but like do you know how formative this soundtrack is for me lol???? sa2 took what sa1 had going for it and ramped it tf 🆙 like defined music genres for their characters and it reflects the music of stages they’re in too!!! i love the vocal stage songs!!!!! supporting me is THE boss fight song of all time!!!! rouge with the sexy spy music bc that’s her schtick!!!! knuckles was an og with character raps showing his thoughts and feelings lmao!!!!)

sonic frontiers (i’m pretty sure the final horizon soundtrack is the reason why sega was my most listened to artist and was my most listened to album last year lol. i made a playlist of those songs and inserted the vocal themes of the og game where the boss rush started iykyk lol. i don’t listen to the og soundtrack much but it’s incredible that each island has a theme they created 6-7 distinct versions of in the form of movements like what a masterpiece of an album)
