i was thinking about something one of my ex's dad said about me while i was 15
he had pointed at an unhappy, obese gamestop employee and said that would be me one day. he had been saying it to make fun of me because i was "fat" (i was 5'7" and 170 pounds) and he hated the fact that i was dating his son
ive lost some weight and become more active as ive gotten older. i became really depressed for a few years bc of circumstances, but honestly? im nore happy now than ive ever been in my whole life
i decided to look up my ex, since its been so many years and... let's just say his dad predicted the wrong person's future lol

it is barely 8 am and the univer is t e s t i n g me i SWEAAAAAAR
#first i have to be up at 4am to take my dad to the airport#then i get home with an hour and 10 mins left before i have to go to work but i can't go back to sleep bc i already got ready#and i wont have time to REget ready#THEN i get to work and cannot get onto my laptop bc theres something funky with the docking station that gives me battery power and internet#THEN once i get IT to help me with that#my normal desktop computer FREEZES while i am in the MIDDLE of working on this document#and thankfully it wasnt long since the last time i hit save but STILL#so i shut my computer off EXCEPT AT FIRST IT GIVES ME THE STUPID ASS 'DRAG THIS DOWN TO SHUT OFF PC' BUT HELLO ITS FROZEN I CANT DRAG SHIT#so i figured out how to shut it off#and i finally got it shut off but then i turn it back on and. the screen is still black#so i go bug the IT guys again and i bring one back to my desk but the second we get there OF COURSE the screen has reloaded#except i didnt completely waste his time bc it was STILL frozen#he fixed it thankfully#BUT JFC NO MORE#GIVE ME A BREAK PLEASE#mack rambles

I just had a Baby™️ Feng Min playing with a pack of advanced players and when I first came across her she actually walked up to me??? While I was stalking???? And then as soon as my tier music played she scampered away, and later I was coming up to her on a gen and she just walked into the nearest closet while I was coming up to her like baby girl....
I killed everyone else around her then walked her to the gate and let her go but man I love random Baby™️ players with the other assholes that are flashing me and teabagging its so refreshing i feel like the reverse of this

What never ceases to amaze me is how amazingly skilled George RR Martin is at creating a world so similar yet so glaringly different from our own. This is especially blinding in HOTD where the similarities between the Faith and Christianity, The Old Gods of Valyria and the North and pagan religions of old (and there slow and steady comeback in recent decades). The parallels that can be drawn between the Targaryen feeling of disconnect from their roots, lack of knowledge in their own history, and the history of so many people from across Africa, Europe, and the Americas is truly astounding.
What also never ceases to amaze me is how many religious people I know side with the Greens, like I wonder if they realize…

i like the concept of a huskerdust overlord!husk au but like. it is very much just being sold to one direction
