It’s Raining Sims

Billy fixed the broken dishwasher and Marsha made breakfast while Otis Chased a fly. Just a typical day until the big bachelorette party!

It became pretty apparent that the chill night I had planned was not going to go as expected! Right out of the gate Adriana sprayed the Bride with Champagne! Marsha spent literally the rest of the night in her underwear! 

Aaaand I forgot they automatically show up in formal attire for bachelor/bachelorette parties! Facepalm. Well at least Rayne is no longer wearing her wedding gown, but she is in her maid of honor gown for tonight, which looks white instead of the blush color it actually is.  Attack of the Brides anyone??

Hey, maybe it was a theme or something, so I left them for the majority of the night. Now if I ran a classy winery and saw these shenanigans I might try to calm my patrons, but not the guy in the background. He just followed them around laughing all night!

Meanwhile, upstairs I thought it would be nice for Marsha to order a round of drinks for everyone.  She had other ideas. She literally drank them ALL! 

Looks like Corinna finally got her own drink. Gawd! the bridal get up and open bar.  Brings back memories of Corinna’s wedding in the first rotation..LOL!

And Rayne, who is newly pregnant is apparently exhausted. Oh Lort!  What is going on? It’s still early!

Literally woke up when the “dancer” arrived.  Well at least she has her priorities in check.

Two of them!!?? I don’t know if I’ve ever seen two of them show up!! Is this normal?  Bahahaha! Well the girls are all drunk except for Rayne who just woke up so this should be fun, LOL!

Honestly, she’s just here for the hot cowboys...LOL!

Oh, yeah! I didn’t even notice that Precious wasn’t there! Neither was Ariane or Sheree.

I wonder what this is doing for business at the nectary?  Hmm...maybe I should check in on Billy and Forrest for a moment just to make sure he’s actually being cared for while mom is downtown getting plastered.

In the red...just as I suspected...

Looks like the rest of the party goers have made their way down for the show and to dance! Better take advantage of the moment to swap out Corinna and Joanna’s formal wear so they don’t show up to the wedding tomorrow in their own bridal gowns! And what’s this?

Oh Adriana! What is it with you and bachelor/bachelorette parties!!?? I mean it’s still better than what happened the last time, I guess!

Marsha’s off to clog the toilet! Just keeping up the precedent I guess, but geeze! I hope they don’t get banned from the place!

We’ve lost another one!

OMG, Adriana!!! I know Marsha was hogging the bathroom, but seriously?? Bladder control loss after having children is real y’all!

Really??? After all that it’s just a modest success!!??

One last check of Forrest and it was off to bed. Otis was keeping watch, but decided the chair looked more comfortable. Typical cat, LOL!

I know there's been nothing but puppies in my posts for a couple of days now, but they haven't even gotten a proper introduction yet!

I was hoping to have pictures of them as grown-ups before doing this, but turned out that my lifespan mod is quite generous with puppy days. So, how they'll look as adults will remain a mystery until later in this round.

The only girl is Daisy. She's hyper (like her dam), independent (like her sire), and finicky (like both of her parents).

The tri-color boy is Dexter. He has an identical personality to Daisy – hyper, independent, and finicky.

And the other boy is Duke. He's hyper and finicky as well, but also very friendly!

Football is fun, and kissing is even FUNNER, but Davee and Kirk came here for a very good reason - to exchange their Winterfest gifts!

Davee goes first, and gifts Kirk his specially-chiseled chunk of Amethyst, along with a very gushing note. Kirk loves it - he's never seen an uncut gem before!

Kirk's gift for his Favee Davee is next - and it's a thoughtful one! A framed photo of them! Alongside an even MORE intensely heartfelt note! Wow, these boys really were putting it all into those cards.

Davee has never felt so special or valued before. On the last day, Kirk has made his year 🥲

The sacred act of gift-giving made Davee and Kirk feel all tingly and giggly, and as they began to make out again, the clock struck twelve, and the sky over Oasis Springs lit up with fireworks - how fortuitous!

Happy new year, Beveeverse! And happy new boyfriends to these two, specifically! 🥂 🎆

Later that night, back at Chateau Peppers, Davee was surprised to find he was the first Pepperlet home. He took advantage of the privacy, and hung up the photo Kirk gave him. He couldn't take his puppy-dog eyes off it!

I have now seen the band Mayhem live. I walked away like three songs in.

Their egos were the size of a fucking planet and their music was mid. Fucking asshats, showing up late. Let's be real: Mayhem got famous for all the murder and other crime, not their music. The sound and light people did most of the work.

If you want to go see Mayhem: save your time and money for a better band. There's better black metal bands out there.

We chat for a few more minutes and somehow Mal has gotten drawn into talking about her college experience. I stifle a grin as it sinks in that I appear to have an attraction to Very Intelligent People.

I'm just happy to see them finding common ground, though. I don't expect Felix will have time to be an active co-parent, but if he does want to visit? It'll help for him to have a good friendship with my partner, too.

When Malia reaches the end of her current story, Felix says, "Sorry to cut this short, but it's cold as the top of Mt. Komorebi out here - can't have either of you catchin' a chill! Kenz'... I wanted t' let you know something came up an' I may have to drop off grid for a while.

"I'll try an' be back before Papaya turns full Watermelon, but no guarantees. You need anything - either of you - just call Felicia. She's got your backs, yeah?"

the autism is strong. four recreations of shirts from photos. all of them have a fem frame version that looks basically the same lol.

this does have two issues i know of and dk how to fix: 1) the sweater is made using @lustrousims' werewolves conversion, and can't be added alongside my previous recolors of it or else they'll combine into one, 2) the tank and crop have barely noticeable clips around the sleeves
