With the latest arrival, Daisy and Michael went on their first family vacation. Opting on leaving baby Jaskier at home with a nanny. Daisy took it upon herself while on this trip to get back into Yoga and hope to boost her levels. We also went in search of Granite Falls Hermit.

Daisy didn't hesitate to reward her man for sticking through her irrational moods brough on by the pregnancy hormones. The couple enjoyed some much needed quality time in the shower.

Baby Jaskier, Got his infant makeover. Despite him not being the next Gen Heir, we stuck with the colours of green for now. Unsure if I will play them both side by side or allow Jaskier to branch off into his own as the game progresses.

Finding time in a busy household with two under two can be difficult. Intimacy being not Michael and Daisy's strongest attribute. The couple continue to ignite the spark as much as they can, post orgasm conversation in deciding of not having any more babies.

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 99 (Winterfest Eve with the Nesbitt-Gordons)

Winterfest Eve was always busy. School and businesses were still open, so despite mourning the loss of Boomer, Heather and Conrad went to work, Ash went to school, and Lavender spent the day at daycare.

Ash was excited about a school project Conrad had been helping him with. For Career Day, every student had to interview someone about their job, and Ash picked Conrad. "On the next career day, I'll do vets," he promised his mother in case she felt left out. "But everyone knows what vets do in Brindleton Bay, and the other kids think it's cool that Conrad fights crime."

Heather didn't feel left out. She was grateful her son loved and respected Conrad almost as much as she did. Conrad told Ash all the cool things about being a detective, leaving out the parts he knew weren't suited to a six-year-old's Career Day presentation.

Gord had started joining him at work again, which set his mind more at ease even as his search for Rafa remained fruitless. He trusted Gord's instincts, and if he was willing to leave the house, Ximena must not be close by. His partner, Zion Spangler, still hadn't found her, and George Brindleton was still in Sulani with his wife, so the case had all but ground to a halt with the coming holidays.

He didn't mind the slowdown, anxious as he was to solve the mystery of Rafa's disappearance. This was Lavender's first Winterfest; needless to say he had more important people on his mind.

"No hits from Rafa's old yearbooks from the few years he spent at San Myshuno High," reported one of his deputies. "No extracurriculars or indications who might've been someone he'd call a friend."

Conrad frowned. A potentially deluded part of him still hoped he could figure out who had Rafa - and where - before the end of winter, but every lead he chased to a dead end left him frustrated and exhausted. He was more than ready to put this chapter of his life behind him.

At the clinic, Heather ran into the always glamorous Bella Goth when she brought in her cat, Spatula, for an exam.

"How've you been, Mrs. Goth?"

"Just wonderful! Grimmie and I went on a date the other night and it was lovely!"

Heather smiled. "I'm happy for you! And how's your pet crow, Obsidian?"

Bella smiled, dancing a little to the music coming from the clinic speakers. She reminded Heather so much of her daughter, Cassandra. "Very healthy. I know you specialize in dogs and cats, but should Obsidian ever need a good vet, will I be able to bring her to Buttercup Pet Clinic?"

"Of course, Mrs. Goth! We're not a pawspital anymore - any pets in need are always welcome!"

Mrs. Goth smiled, leaving a generous tip in the spirit of Winterfest when Heather finished with her cat. Heather closed up shop after dark, returning home under heavy snowfall and bright streetlights.

When she walked in the door, she was greeted by Gord and the cats, but she was drawn to the sound of voices upstairs, where Conrad and Ash had started decorating the tree without her. "I tried to bribe him to wait but he said he wanted to surprise you."

"I thought you might be tired, mommy."

She smiled warmly. "I don't mind that you started without me, but try not to finish yet. Just give me one second - I have a surprise!"

She raced down the stairs and pulled out four gift-wrapped boxes from beneath a pile of blankets in her wardrobe, each one labelled with their names. Conrad. Heather. Ash. Lavender. Their family.

Returning upstairs, the only place they could fit their tree, Ash squealed with excitement when he saw the presents. "Can we open them now?"

"Of course! You're going to want to wear them, I'm sure."

Conrad glanced at her with a smirk. "You ordered them, didn't you."

Heather's straight face bloomed into a smile. "Happy Winterfest Eve!"

She laughed as they opened their matching holiday pajamas. The burgundy knit sets by @vixonspixels were perfect for cold, snowy winter nights in Brindleton Bay, and they posed for a few photos they could send to family.

"Do you think we should have gotten the kids' haircuts before the holidays?" Heather moaned, playfully ruffling Ash's wispy mane.

"For some family photos?" Conrad scoffed. "The hair isn't going to be what makes them turn out great. It's the pajamas, obviously."

(I love them and they have 3 different swatches - I used them all just to show them off and I thought it'd be cute since they still look like a match. And they have infant sizes which was harder to find and what really sold me!)

Gord still needed a walk after they'd finished decorating the tree, so Heather left Conrad in charge of the kids while she took the dog for a brisk walk down to the frozen creek.

Conrad cuddled Lavender while Ash finished his letter to Father Clement downstairs. His blue-eyed baby girl was just as perfect as her mother and looked up at him with devotion; it seemed strange to think he'd ever been afraid to be a father.

He put her to bed, reciting the story of The Giving Tree, just as he had for her elder brother when he was her age. As she drifted to sleep, he kissed her forehead and pulled a small box from his pocket.

Ash raced up the stairs excitedly - he'd clearly stolen one or two of the cookies meant for Father Clement - but it wasn't just a sugar high that had him jumping off the walls tonight. "Mommy and Gord are coming back! I saw through the window. Do you have it?"

Conrad grinned, crouching down to show him what he'd pulled from his pocket. "Do you think she'll like it?"

"I think she'll love it, not like it!" Ash dropped his voice to a whisper as they heard Heather's key turn in the door downstairs. "She'll be so surprised!"

WCIF Portrait Poses? 1st is Infant Insanity by @rebouks. Looks stunning and perfect as you can see. This particular pose has room for two todds in front of Heather but we don't have any, and the pose doesn't even look like anything is missing. I love it!

2nd pose is two-in-one and still needs one more kid to look perfect. I clipped Lavender over Conrad's feet so this one's on me, not the poses, but it's also not the official portrait that ended up in a frame on the wall because Lavender isn't crawling yet, either. It's from the Ultimate Family Portrait Posepack by @simmireen, which is an amazing set!

some thoughts on creating custom cars

i tried to give the hunka 711 a longer wheelbase (as pictured above) and it resulted in some trouble.

1: wheels

so the first thing i learned is: if cloning from an EA car, keep the meshes of the wheels in the same place, do not move them forward or backward along the z-axis. shifting them on the x-axis, such as making them wider/thinner, seems fine. you must keep the wheels of a custom car mesh in the same place as the ea car clone, or else the wheels will animate horribly when the car is in motion even if the bones are assigned correctly.

bloom says that if you're cloning from a Fast Lane SP car, it is possible to shorten/extend the wheelbase using his method, however i haven't tried this. i believe most cc cars (freshprince, dailycard, understrech) are not cloned from Fast Lane SP cars, but regular EA cars instead.

the joints are usually assigned this way: 1 for the car body, then 1 joint for each of the 4 wheels. you can look at an EA car for reference. it is probably best to assign the bones/joints manually as using Mesh Toolkit may assign bits of the car's body mesh to the wheel joint, causing that area to distort when the car is in motion.

2: rigs

as mentioned above, in bloom's forum post, he describes a way to edit the Fast Lane car's wheel placement by editing the RIG resource inside the car's package file.

the rig editor is an add-on to s3pe which can be downloaded here.

to edit a car's rig resource, you need to install the add-on. then: open the car's package in s3pe, right-click on the "rig" resource, then click on "rig editor".

the rig resource also controls where the sim sits inside the vehicle. if you want to edit the sim's position, this is what you need to edit in rig editor:

look for the resources with "IKtarget_seat" in the name. this controls the general seat placement of the sims in the vehicle. in the rig editor's screen on the right, you can edit the X Y and Z coordinates of the position. the X coordinate will move the sim left or right, Y will move the sim up or down, and Z will move the sim forward or backward. there are 4 "IKtarget_seat" resources, i don't know which controls the driver seat or passenger seats but you'll probably want to edit all the coordinates with the same changes to be consistent.

"IKtarget_foot": these resources control the placement of the sim's feet when sitting inside the car, like how stretched out or tucked in their legs are.

"IKtarget_SteeringWheel_01 and 02": these resources control the left and right hand placement on the steering wheel. if your sim's hands are misaligned with the steering wheel while driving, these are the resources to edit.

3: shadow meshes

in tsr workshop, each level of detail's mesh (high, medium, low) has a corresponding shadow mesh. if you've made significant changes to an existing car mesh, or if you've imported an entirely new car mesh over an EA car, you will also want to generate new shadow meshes so that the car's shadow looks correct in-game. if you do not generate new shadow meshes, you are likely to see weird misaligned shadows on the car's body, and the car's sun shadow on the ground will look off. so make sure to generate new ones for EVERY level of detail. tsr workshop has a one-click button that does it so it's pretty quick once you're satisfied with the actual car mesh. you can try generating high, medium and low LOD shadow meshes, or you can try generating shadow meshes using the high LOD mesh for the high, medium and low shadows to see if you get better quality shadows in-game.

Hey there, I'm finally finding more time to play the Sims again, and I wanted to make myself a legacy challenge to keep me engaged in a long-term save.

I wanted to publicize these ideas so that others who are interested can have a new legacy challenge to try out for themselves! ♡

This legacy was inspired by the not so berry challenge and sims in bloom legacy ♡ You'll have 10 generations of fruit-based heirs to play with.

Sorry, but this legacy is going to be VERY PACK HEAVY. (If you'd like I will take into consideration making a base game legacy)

General Rules:

normal or long lifespan (aging on)

you can only cheat money for the first-generation house, and it should be no more than 40k. (keep the idea of a starter)

you must complete all generations' goals before their death.

you can have sims move around to different worlds and lots. you do not have to live with your entire family all the time (unless stated otherwise).

infants and toddler traits should be randomized and only once.

you can use as many mods as you want to add events and other gameplay elements to your game.

Feeding your siblings and experiencing new cultures has inspired you to pocket some of your parent's money and move to a new city to open your own restaurant.

Gen One: A lonely pregnancy

Backstory

You found out that you were pregnant but you’re still in your last year of high school, your boyfriend was not happy with that and decided to breakup with you and you were so scared to tell your parents about it but you knew that eventually you’ll have to.

A week after your 18th birthday and right after your graduation, you decided to finally tell your parents about your pregnancy. But as you’ve predicted before, they didn’t receive the news very well, so you got kicked out but you managed to steal 5000 similions.

you promise your child to always love them and to give them the best life ever.

Aspiration: crystal crafter

Traits: ambitious, family oriented, roll/pick the rest.

Career: Barista/any part job (OPTIONAL).

Child count: at least one.

Goals:

Start as a young adult with only 5000 similions and move to an abandoned place and make it your new home (you can cheat so you can move to that place).

Craft jewelry and sell them either with the sales table or open a small jewelry store in your house (live in business mod) to earn money to support your child.

Make necklaces to each of your children and give the necklaces to them when they’re teenagers.

You may find love again and have more children.

Achieve level 10 of your aspiration.

Will you try to contact your parents and/or ex-boyfriend again?

Gen Two: similions for everyone

Backstory

You grew up in a low income household, you witnessed your mom’s struggle since you were a baby and when you grew up you learnt about your mom’s past, you’re so angry for you mother and every sim that’s going through what she went through. You decided that you’re gonna be their voice and help them out.

However, one day you get drunk at a party and go sleep with someone from the opponent political party (you can pretend). But this isn’t the worst part, the worst part is that you’re already in a relationship with someone else.

Aspiration: any.

Traits: hot headed, loyal, roll/pick the rest.

Career: Politician (Charity Organizer branch).

Child count: at least 3.

Goals:

- Move out of your house when you become a young adult.

Protest every weekend.

Go out to a party, you get drunk and sleep with someone from the opponent political party and get pregnant.

Keep visiting your mother every now and then.

Will you tell your partner about the real parent of the child, or will you lie to them and tell them it’s theirs? Bear in mind that this might ruin your career.

Invite over your mother and siblings to your house every holiday and have dinner together.

Max the skills required for your career.

If you tell your partner the truth and they don’t accept to raise the child as their own, you lose your job and start working as a policeperson.

Would you tell the truth to the real parent someday? Will you fall in love with them?

Gen three: Where do I belong to?

Backstory

As you grew up you’ve always felt like you were a mistake, although your parent(s) tried their best to give you all what you needed but it was never enough to fill that hole in your heart. You were a threat to your parent’s career, your other parent wasn’t really close to you as they knew you were not their child (if they chose to stay and keep it a secret). So as a teen you runaway and drop out of school because you couldn’t live as a burden anymore, you take some other teen friends that want to runaway with you as well as your household pet.

Aspiration: as a teen, Live fast. As an adult, Super parent.

Traits: kleptomaniac, unflirty, roll/pick the rest.

Career: none.

Child count: at least 2.

Goals:

As a teen leave your house and live in an abandoned house with a bunch of other teens and your house pet (if you have any).

You start with 500 similions.

As a teen, you earn money mostly by stealing stuff from other people and dumpster diving.

Dye your hair, get at least one piercing and a tattoo(s).

As a young adult you refuse to fall in love and have children because you don’t want to repeat the cycle, but that’s until you meet the nerdy, very academically oriented person and fall in love with them.

Get married to that person and settle down and have kids!

Always help your kids with their homework and make sure that they do well in school.

Gen Four: The messy scientist

Backstory

You grew up with a very academically oriented parent, getting high grades in school was very important to your parents. You can’t maintain any kind of relationships, so whenever you get a partner it always ends up terribly, it doesn’t bother you that much anyways. However, you’re always surrounded by a lot of friends from high school and university, you go out clubbing and partying with friends and have fun almost every weekend. One day you get a call from your family telling you that one of your siblings has died in an accident, so you decide to adopt their only child.

Aspiration: serial romantic.

Traits: dance machine, non-committal, roll/pick the rest.

Career: scientist.

Child count: only the adopted child.

Goals:

Move out of your parents’ house when you become a young adult.

Go to university.

Have an affair with your roommate’s partner.

Adopt your sibling’s child after their death.

You can get into relationships but don’t marry, you can be in multiple relationships at once.

Always have at least two dogs in your house.

Max your career.

Have an affair with your boss (even if they were married).

if you get that offer (that comes with lovestruck pack) to go out on 7 perfect dates and be recorded the whole time, say yes!

you can date people but never get married.

Gen five: Cozy seaside lifestyle

Backstory

You lost your parents early in life and were adopted by your aunt/uncle/Auncle that had a very chaotic lifestyle. They brought a lot of lovers around and used to go out partying every weekend, you didn’t get enough attention and felt neglected. However, you had a fish as a pet and you were mesmerized by marine life. You’ve always loved playing in water and pools, so you decide to live by the sea when you’re older. Although you have poor communication skills due to you not being raised properly, but you still manage to get through all your struggles.

Aspiration: any.

Traits: genius, roll/pick the rest.

Career: conservationist (Marine Biologist branch)

Child count: more than 2.

Goals:

As a kid and a teenager always go to water parks and/or pools.

must live somewhere near the water (doesn’t have to be a beach lot, you can live in any world that has a sea like sulani, tartosa, brindleton bey, etc).

Always have a fish as a pet.

Befriend a dolphin.

Maintain a strong relationship with your grandparents.

Befriend your neighbor and eventually fall in love with them.

Have many children! You were lonely as a child, so you want to be surrounded with many family members.

Gen six: The crazy ex

Backstory

Although you grew up in a lovely home surrounded by your loving family members, you still managed to turn out to be a little evil. As a kid you’d always prank your siblings and parents and as a teenager you broke so many hearts. But you take it into a whole different level when you become an adult.

Aspiration: villainous valentine. Traits: child of the ocean, evil, roll/pick the rest. Career: business. Child count: 4.

Goals:

Wear any alternative fashion style (but should be a dark aesthetic).

Have many relationships (you can have multiple at once), maintain them for a while then ditch them.

Breakup with at least one of your partners through a phone text.

As a teen, join the drama club.

Decorate your house in a dark aesthetic.

Kill a sim when you’re an adult.

Use the voodoo doll on a sim at least once.

All of your children must be from different partners.

Breakup a couple.

Max your career and aspiration.

Never get married, and give a lot of love and attention to your children.

Go all out whenever it’s Halloween.

Gen seven: The moody painter

Backstory

You’ve always been into the idea of having a soulmate since you were a child, especially after you witnessed your parent’s messy “love” life. You didn’t like that part of them and wished to have a more stable life, so you searched for love your entire life until you meet someone in high school that’d make you want to stay single forever.

Aspiration: soulmate. Traits: gloomy, roll/pick the rest. Career: painter. Child count: 2-3.

Goals:

have a very colorful and unique fashion style.

Dye your hair a bright color.

Max your creativity skill as a child

As a teen, join the scout club

OPTIONAL: complete the insects collection.

As a teen, get into a toxic relationship with someone and breakup with them later (or have them breakup with you).

Have the “Coffee fanatic” lifestyle.

As an adult, move to the city (doesn’t have to be san myshuno)

Live in an apartment, and DON’T move out.

Get into a love triangle, choose who you want to be with in the end.

Cupcraft's Sims 4 Build Requests Challenge

Hi Hi! I have been very Sims 4 build-pilled for the past couple years and you can see builds I've posted on the tag #cup.builds (or by gallery, DispleasedBrick).

Thought I'd challenge myself to do small builds on request but to challenge myself.

I am doing a 2 pack challenge (+ basegame always included).

General Rules:

I won't use any custom content in the build itself.

I can only use packs I own, so if you request a pack I do not own it won't be included obviously (I will make clear what I own!).

Debug & Basegame will be fair game as long as its only debug for basegame or the packs you requested. Basegame will always be included.

I am doing this for free on my own free time so requests won't be quick necessarily and I may not finish them all/take all requests (depends on how many I get really).

How to Request:

Requests I'm looking for in the format of: I'd like you to try to build a STYLE/THEME/CHARACTER'S HOUSE/ROOM/APARTMENT/ETC. With 2 PACKS YOU OWN OF MY CHOICE. So for example "I'd like you to build Gregory House's apartment with everyday clutter kit and seasons" or "I'd like you to build a modern ranch house with horse ranch and eco lifestyle" etc.

You can also request minor terrain/misc things ie "it'd be nice if the home had a pond!" or even "try to include these color palette I like!"

Do not request very large and complex things ie castles, giant manors, things that involve extreme terrain manipulation (Ie mountain house). This challenge I also won't rennovate any townie houses. Not that i would never do a request like that but I want these to be finishable. I will build most houses and styles :). Even something as small as a room or apartment rennovation (not townie house, but apartments are more feasible ie the ones in eco-lifestyle or the highrise in lovestruck).

I ask for now that if you request the everyday clutter kit you are mindful that currently the game is glitched and it is missing 17 items and it has not yet been patched!
