Royal Simblr Fashion Worldbuilding
Thanks @armoricaroyalty for putting out this list of prompts! I haven't posted much recently but I'm still here, thinking about my sims ✌
Does your royal family have a dress code? Are there codified internal rules for how your royals are expected to dress, or is it an unspoken set of expectations?
Yes - an un-written set of expectations of modesty, dignity, "class" etc. Designed in theory to reflect the values of the family/institution by generations gone by.
If your royals have a dress code, who sets it? How is it enforced? Does it ever change?
Set by the monarch and often enforced mostly by the Queen but George as always is in control in the background (Illyria has not yet had a women on the throne 😬). The way it is enforced would be along the lines of passive aggressive language and being shamed into it I guess? For someone like Margaret, born into in, the style expectations are drilled in from birth when Elizabeth would have had control over everything her children wear. Margaret would have carried that on when she started to have a say in what she wears - but is now pushing the envelope in more of the her private dressing. It was a deliberate choice to change her wardrobe to reflect her disillusionment with the system and her unhappiness. However her official wardrobe does not go as far.
For Victoria, who married in, there would have been at some point a subtle style guidance from the Queen. It probably would have taken the form of a conversation about expectations over tea or something.
If members are seen to be straying from the dress code, enforcement would first come in the form of and meeting to "please explain" and then "please make steps to correct". If it continued, using threats of cutting their clothing budget would follow or any other sanctions that were in the power of George to do.
Are any of your royals considered style icons? What impact does their wardrobe have on trends within your country?
Not really - I explored a little some of the backlash to Victorias first attempts at style but haven't positioned any of them a style icons. Currently it would be of a situation where they would only get attention by doing the wrong thing rather than the right?
The closest would be Margaret, but I haven't really developed it at all.
Are your royals expected to dress modestly? How do they define 'modest?'
Yes - defined as higher necklines, just above the knee being the highest allowed hemline, and in certain situations, covered shoulders/upper arms. Super figure-hugging dresses would be best to be avoided.
Do your royals wear trendy clothes or are they expected to dress conservatively or in an old-fashioned way?
Conservative is the expectation, kind of in line with the above. It doesn't necessarily mean that trendy is off the table, but the modesty stuff naturally aligns with it. That being said, now that Alex is part of the family, I want to play with her wardrobe and make it distinct from Victoria - as it could easily become indistinguishable. I want to make Alexandra the "trendy" one. She has to play within the rules but I want her to put her own twist on it.
Are your royals allowed to be experimental or "alt" in the way they dress?
Only if it still fits within the already understood expectations. So..... not really.
Are your royals expected to dress in a gender-conforming way?
Yes. Not much more to it really 😕
How much autonomy do your royals have in deciding what to wear?
I mean they have autonomy over the specific items - for instance no one is approving every clothing item that people wear. Everyone organises the purchasing of their own wardrobe. Elziabeth might send items to various members of the family with the expectation that they should wear them at some event.
How do your royals pay for their wardrobes? If their clothes are paid for with public money, how does the general public feel about that?
While I haven't worked out all the details of how the Royals are funded in general, it would be something along the lines of what happens with the BRF - most of their funding comes through arrangements with the government treasury and then private wealth and land holdings. All the royal purse strings are held by the King and he approves the budgets for a lot of things to do with his family members.
For example, for Margaret - she is classified as a "working royal" and therefore is given a budget by the King. It covers her staff, office, and for her official clothing. There is also a section of that budget that supports her living expenses, things relating to her home, decorating, food, and clothing not related to work, make up, beauty etc. This budget given by her father is her main source of wealth. She also received inheritance money from from her grandmother which has been managed and invested to grow over time. If there was something over the top of that needed, she could ask her father for the money.
At the moment, a lot of the specifics are not in the public arena. Most Illyrians are just vaugely aware that it is public money, but the royals have mostly high approval ratings and people still think they get value from the royals, so feel their public money is worth it. Of course there are people who think that more attention should be paid to how the Royal exactly use the money, but its not in the majority, and does not reach the front pages (George makes sure of it)
Do your royals have their clothes custom-made? Do they wear designer clothes? Do they shop at normal stores and wear "accessible" brands?
A mix - things are often custom made for big or significant events. They don't often shop at normal clothes store but if they do, its not in person its through their assistants and its more for their personal wardrobe. They want to be aspirational, and represent a certain picture of a family, and of a way of life.
How do your royals use clothes to signal class status? Do they practice conspicuous consumption, or do they dress in an understated way to signal that they're above wealth?
Everything about Royalty is symbolic, especially their clothes. Their clothing signals their wealth and class and its a part of their values. They have access to the best of the best and they are not afraid to show it.
Do your royals have relationships with the designers of their clothes? Do they have any favorites? Do they borrow clothes from designers? Attend fashion shows? Accept "freebies?"
Margaret is the most "fashion-y" and I have shown her attending fashion shows, being the patron of Fashion Week etc. She loves it and would 100% get freebies more than borrowing, but its not very publicised, most people assume that she buys things. She doesn't focus on one or two designers, she likes trying all sorts of high fashion designers.
Elizabeth was the former Fashion week patron, but it was focused more on supporting the industry rather than having fun and seeing the new designs. She has established relationships with a handful of trusted, established and successful fashion houses that have dressed her for most of her time as Queen.
Victoria falls more into the vein of Elizabeth, carefully considering who she is wearing. She would 100% accept freebies, she considers it a normal park of the job - and like Margaret, it isn't well publicised or reported on.
Do your royals ever re-wear outfits? Is this normal for them, or do re-wears drive commentary? What do they do with all the clothes they'll never re-wear?
Yes they do - mostly because I find items that I just like too much to only use once 😂
It is my headcannon that Margaret meticulously organises and stores all of her clothing, and hardly ever throws or gives anything away. She also keeps records of what she has worn to each event to conciously avoid a lot of re-wears (mostly coordinated by her private secretary now, but she started it and drives it)
Victoria is less fussy - she will re-wear items and will often give away clothes to people she knows, her sister-in-law, Sarah etc. It makes her feel magnanimous lol
How much jewelry does your royal family own? When do they wear it? Are there any rules (formal or informal) about colored stones?
A lot - because I am personally a magpie, and jewelry lover 😍 I have a document where I have assigned certain items to certain members as "owned" by them and then I have figured out what is owned by their family foundation and sits in pool that Elizabeth can lend out.
Jewelry is for always, but more restrained during the day.
The Lancaster family has an association with emeralds - they have many fine examples in their collections and they have been used for generations. It doesn't mean they don't wear other coloured stones, but emeralds are preferred.
Are there any non-jewelry garments that have been passed down by the royal family? (i.e., a bridal veil, a Christening gown)
Most of what has been passed down are tiaras and jewelry so far. But I wouldn't rule it out.
Does your country have folk costumes or traditional dress? Who wears traditional clothes and on what occasions?
I wish Illyria was that cool and interesting 😒
What kinds of textiles are produced in your country?
Most of the industries I've identified is forestry and farming - I'm not sure about textiles but wool would naturally come through farming sheep which they have a lot of.
How do royal children dress? Are there any clothing that children have to "graduate" into? (for example: British princes have traditionally worn shorts and knee socks during official appearances until they're 9 or 10, when they begin wearing longer pants.)
I don't currently have any royal children (sad) so I haven't yet done much thinking on this point. The only thing i've thought about really is graduating into tiaras after their 18th birthday and receiving/wearing royal Honours. While there isn't really an tiara equivalent, the closest would probably be wearing proper white tie dress for the first time
Are there any differences between how your royals dress while on duty and how they dress in their private lives?
100% - I take a lot of care to differentiate between on and off duty fashion though mostly with the Charles/Victoria generation. George and Elizabeth are slightly more consistent with their dressing which I see as both a generational thing and a King and Queen thing. When Charles and Victoria become King and Queen, their private style will change too.
In their private lives you would see t-shirts, jeans, shorts etc. Margaret wears more revealing clothes when shes out with Laurel, and Robert and Charles wear shorts and t-shirts.
What do your royals wear for special occasions like weddings and funerals?
Currently weddings are a white-tie affair for senior royals/those high up in the line of succession. That means Gowns, royal orders and medals, Tiaras, and white gloves.
Funerals - I haven't really done many funerals so the only thing I did was black. I'd actually love to incorporate some kind of veil into the tradition but 🤷♀️ good veils are hard to find.
What kinds of political messages do your royals send through their clothes? Are they expected to wear clothes from designers from their own country? When they travel overseas, do they wear designers from their host country?
They are expected to fly the flag for Illyria pretty much at all times - even on royal tours - to wear designers from other countries is rare and therefore makes a big impact so it is saved for special occasions. Messages are supposed to be non- political but I absolutely love the idea that Queen Elizabeth made signals through her brooch collection (and find it hilarious) so I would love my sims to do similar things. Restricted by convention, but finding sneaky ways to signal.

Lord Captain Xandra von Valencius, Rogue Trader of the Imperium
Following the unexpected death of Her Ladyship Theodora von Valencius and her known heir, a bladedancer named Xandra has taken the Lord Captain's seat. While she may be new to the role of Rogue Trader, Xandra von Valencius is far from a nobody. In fact, this isn't the first time she's been referred to as nobility. Prior to the reveal of her von Valencius heritage, Xandra made a name for herself as a crime lord on a hostile death world, wrangling the scattered pirates into a formidable fleet. Rumor says she ruled ruthlessly until she was captured by a rival gang. No one knows what happened to her in the 3 months she was missing, but when she returned, having single-handedly slaughtered the entire gang responsible for her capture, Xandra was changed. Having attracted much attention with her recent ascension to Lord Captain, it seems that Her Ladyship is eager not to fall into enemy hands. In addition to Xandra's own skills with blades, rumor says that she is accompanied by an eerie death cultist who never leaves her side. Will the new Rogue Trader grow the dynasty's glory, or will she be the reason the von Valencius name is struck from the history books? Time will tell if the skills she used to gain and keep control of her criminal empire will serve her well as Lord Captain. (Bladedancer Assassin, Iconoclast, Death World + Crime Lord origin, ♥ Kibellah)
If you couldn't tell by the top half of this post, I started playing Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader a couple weeks ago. I bought the game on my birthday because it just happened to be on sale, and in the past 2 weeks I've racked up 31 hours. Which isn't much compared to my playtime in WotR when I first started playing, but it's pretty impressive given my workload. I've been having a ton of fun!! This is Xandra, and yes, she's a (space) pirate who was captured and tortured. I have a type, apparently.
Here's some pics of her in-game.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/2c7aaf763142e59e158d329f6ff59c2b/a4a0c31bbdeedd6e-94/s540x810/df54771629a7abdbdc6791ed6aec35e5b1f4af0f.jpg)
I imagine that the 2nd outfit (the long coat) is her adventuring outfit (lots of pockets plus belts for weapons and such), and the other more uniform-looking outfit is her "ceremonial" outfit. (She's never going to get more formal than that.)
Also, if anyone else plays Rogue Trader and hasn't played the Void Shadows DLC, I highly recommend it. Kibellah is awesome, and the Bladedancer archetype is SO much fun to play. (Yes, I'm running a party that's 1/3rd Bladedancer Assassins. Surprisingly, it works really well. They are VERY efficient little murder machines.)

Sims 4 Loredump #1
My world is divided up into a diverse array of sapient species, most of which possess the ability to interbreed, leading to a societal majority of hybrids that can trace their heritage across several species. But there are a few main categories to consider.
Terrestrials: A culmination of planetary natives, including all primarily land-dwelling sapients. Terrestrials arose naturally through evolution.
Aquatics: The water-born counterpart to terrestrials. Consists of sapients native to the planet that primarily live underwater. Aquatics, too, came to be from evolution.
Extraterrestrials: A giant category containing any sapient non-native to the planet. This includes species that evolved on planetary satellites, such as species that are native to the moon.
Occults: Entities of an unexplained origin, assumed to violate the known laws of reality. This is most commonly reserved for cryptids.
Androids: Artificially produced mechanical sapients are collectively considered Androids. Their sapience was proven not long ago, resulting in their liberation from previously designated service. Unlike AI that has been trained to mimic the functions of sapients, android technology was created by recreating the brain itself in a digital medium. Hormones are replaced by variables, for instance.
Existentials: Creatures who strongly affect existence or are strongly related to the nature of the universe itself (such as creatures who have been around since the beginning of the universe.) Technically, any other creature could become an ‘Existential’ on these caveats, if they acquire the right power. A few sapient species have reached this point. But most Existentials, such as Demons, were born into the role they have.

more weird sims art (≚ᄌ≚) sim heart with shards that control the overhead plumbob….. I’d like 2 imagine that maybe the plumbob’s color would be affected by heart rate/stress rather than a sim’s general “emotional state”— emotions and needs are so nuanced in the way that your physical/mental needs could be completely unmet but you could still be having a fabulous time while also feeling shitty and vice versa— I think stress shown by an elevated heart rate might be a more interesting take on plumbobs than canon— it definitely has some flaws but I like the idea of it being a flawed organ rather than a magic mood ring. I also really love the implications that this would have in-universe such as sims coming with built-in “lie detectors” when put on trial— a lot of sims would probably be framed for crimes they didn’t do due to having a higher heart rate from stress !!! or maybe the justice system would look completely different in the sim world ? maybe there’s a hidden right that sims can evoke to put a shield over their plumbob in court so it can’t be used as incriminating evidence against them. on a very different note, I think plumbobs would make a sim’s love life a lot different due to having a higher heart rate when around someone you’re in love with— I’d imagine that the term “lovesick” would probably be a lot more prevalent in the sims world as people witnessing a sim with a yellow or red plumbob would probably assume that sim is sick/stressed when they could actually just be in love !! maybe this would make engagement rings commonly yellow/red to represent feelings of butterflies/lovesickness when seeing their partner. ok bye guys

"Royal Fashion Protocol,"
Tiaras
Tiaras are worn by people over the age of 16 who wear feminine fashions. A person does not have to be royal or married to dawn a tiara in the Ionian Union!
Chain of the Thistle
The Chain of the thistle is only worn by the reigning Monarch during formal full regalia events, which other Royals would wear a sash to. The chain sets apart the Monarch from the rest.
Read below or on the linked page to learn more!
Senior Royal Sash
The maroon sash of the Order of the Thistle represents the Devine Right to rule, and is only worn by the Consort to the Monarch and the Heir Presumptive of the Ionian Union. Featured in the image is the Black-Tie suit worn by French Royals. Worn below the tie is the Legion of Honour. Over the persons chest is the Order of Viviana II, all Ionian Monarchs have their own orders which are retired when they abdicate or pass away. Only citizens of the Ionian Union may wear a Monarch's order, wearers of the orange and teal sash will not wear the order unless they acquire Ionian citizenship.
Ionian Royal Sash
The yellow sash of the Order of the Thistle is worn by Ionian Royals who are not senior members of the Royal family. Such royals may include spares and extended members of the royal family. Despite being members of a foreign royal family, the Children and Grandchildren of Crown Princess Lorraine of Uspana wear the yellow sash of the Order of the Thistle. Featured in this image are the Orders of Viviana I and II. A person may wear more than one Monarch order if they have recieved them during the Monarch's reign. The Order of Viviana I was retired with the ascension of Queen Viviana II.
Foreign Sash
The teal sash of the Order of the Thistle is worn by foreign dignitaries and special peoples. Notably, it is worn by Prince Philippe when acting as French Ambassador to the Union. All sashes may be worn with day dress under special circumstances, such as an investiture. Over the wearers chest is the Order of Everette III, which was retired when Viviana I inherited the Ionian Throne.
Uniform of Saint-Cyr
The Uniform of Saint-Cyr is the military dress of students/graduates of the military academy in Francesim. Outdoors it is worn with the Képi. A wearer may be accompanied by a golden sheathed sword. The orange sash of the Order of the Thistle featured replaces the typical red sash worn by students of Saint-Cyr. Members of the Order are given an orange sash when they belong to foreign royal families, as Prince Philippe does in the featured photograph.
Uniform of the Royal Guard
The uniform of the Royal Guard is worn by peoples in (military) Service to their country during ceremonial and formal events. A dagger is attached at the hip by a belt. While outdoors, a Guard wears a feathered cap.
Formal Ionian Guard Uniform
This uniform is worn by Royal men for formal regalia events and portraits. It is adorned to show the rank of Colonel of the Ionian Guard and is paired with a golden sheathed sword.
Children's Royal Guard Uniform
This uniform is worn by Royal children for holidays, special events, and portraits.

I am a lover of world building but often that remains only in the imaginary, consuming other people's wonderfully fleshed out fantasy worlds. I find the process overwhelming complex and in order to be the tiniest bit realistic, it must be thoroughly detailed. I have attempted to do this with the sims several times, having built a lore to Windenburg that feels canon to the sims, funny and silly at times, but also based upon actual history. Unfortunately I lost this document which had lore, feuding families and migrations, religion and paganism, etc. I did start the ultimate decades challenge where I took what I remembered from the lore i wrote and adapted it for the challenge. Now the challenge is great and I am still playing it, but something falls short with the fact that the challenge is built upon real countries and history. I feel weird playing the history of britain or france in the sims 4, because the game is not supposed to be planet earth, it is only inspired by it, a simpler version. I even felt weird just rolling die to see when each sim died, I feel like actually using the sicknesses in the games would be better. So I have decided to full on flesh out a savefile where we are in the past of the worlds in the sims. I wanna have fun with this and do a lot of research to be able to comeup with something that is unique to the worlds, not just copied from European history. I will also try to embark on making my own custom content. And to make things simpler I will work upon the families that already exist in my savefile

eusalia retcon!!
eusalia is the continent in my Sophie of Rostock story which will be resuming soon! it is HEAVILY inspired by early nineteenth century europe!! I did make a map when I first started the story but now I really hate it and wanted to revamp it and add more detail. anyway so in the continent there are two distinct regions which are heavily divided, germania and vista. this is the map as of 1809 (when the story starts)
the germanic empire (heavily inspired by the Holy Roman Empire) is purely ceremonial and has no real power, each principality governs itself with the emperor elected by twelve electors as a mere figurehead. the emperor of germania has for the past 400 years been from the house of Augustinia who hold lands all across the continent. the augustinian family also controls chambery, which was acquired in 1695 after the 3rd Calais-Augustinia War. the germanic empire includes two kingdoms, the kingdom of weimar & the kingdom of wardenburg. previously the kingdom of tyrol which is controlled by the Augustinians was considered a part of the empire but the Augustinians formally removed it from the empire’s designated territories and made it a personal possession. the archduchy of graz & the kingdom of augustinia are also part of the augustinian domains. Charleroi was also a part of the Augustinian Domains until 1735. in germania for the past fifty years there has been a constant rivalry between the kingdom of wardenburg and the augustinians who try and influence all of the other states of the empire.
meanwhile in vista there are a plethora of different independent states. btw in this map of vista I made a mistake, Aosta is a KINGDOM not a duchy anymore. so Aosta & Salerno are the biggest powers in this region along with the Patriarch who is the religious religious leader of the Jacobans who also rules the Holy Lands. The Royal House of Aosta is the longest ruling one in Vista, holding the duchy of Aosta since 1104, it was elevated to a kingdom in 1805.
in general windenburg, calais, augustinia, wardenburg, and beloshov are the great powers in the continent. beloshov has only recently advanced under the reign of their current monarch, the empress elizabeth and has been considered a great power following their many wars with the hafsah caliphate. from 1790-195, beloshov fought in the stravian wars of liberation, resulting in tetovo, tirana, and athenia gaining their independence from the hafsah caliphate.
currently there is one major war raging through the continent, the war of calais succession. in 1784 the House of Everaux was dethroned in a bloody revolution resulting in the execution of several members of the government. in 1787 the House of Montpellier, a cadet branch of the House of Everaux, were put on the throne as the Duke of Montpellier was seen as a liberal. However in 1805 he was dethroned as well whereupon a revolutionary chaotic government led by radicals reeked havoc upon the continent, invading Charleroi and northern Almeria. In 1808 the radical government was disbanded and Calais was invaded by the allied forces including Windenburg, Beloshov, Wardenburg, and Frisia. However a conflict erupted when the allied powers had a disagreement upon which family should rule Calais now, the Everaux or the Montpellier family. Beloshov, Windenburg, Almeria, Salerno, and Capua all support the Everaux family taking the throne. Meanwhile the House of Montpellier is supported by Wardenburg, Charleroi, Augustinia, Aosta, and Frisia. This has caused a war which has spiraled throughout the continent, however the claimant from the house of Everaux, Prince Louis Ferdinand (Louis XII), landed in Calais with an army of 30,000 and has taken the capital, Magnolia with support of Windenburgian troops.
another current thing going is that in vasa, prince karl (second son to the king) has plotted a coup against his brother and father with the help of beloshov and other conservatives in vasa because they do not support his liberal policies + beloshov just wants to cause chaos in vasa because they to expand their borders toward vasa (beloshov owns the grand duchy of alstein). but with sophie’s potential marriage beloshov will stop supporting the everaux in the war of calais succession & they will stop supporting the coup against the king of vasa who is her mom’s cousin! anyway this was a LOT and probably very complicated. my story will be returning soon hopefully!

Blank Save File (finally) got an update!
Yap, it's true! Two years after the first release, I am coming back to finally share the V2.0 of the MoraticMyshuno Blank Save File adding the following worlds to the collection: Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill, and Copperdale.
But, if the question remains from the original post, let me tell you what’s included in this updated file:
Literally anything. All the worlds and the Household Gallery are (almost) empty - exceptions might be applied (*).
DOWNLOAD IT HERE (Google Drive) and enjoy your fresh start within the Sims 4 universe!
(*) Important Notes to consider before downloading this Save File:
✦ The Household Gallery is empty - only Ms. Doe will be found in the Gallery since the other households were removed from the file.
✦ All the original exterior walls of San Myshuno apartments and Britechester were preserved, and the wall paint was replaced by drywalls.
Some lots, considered special, remained intact, such as:
› The Secret Lab and Old Penelope in StrangerVille.
› Admiral’s Wreckage in Sulani.
› The Quarry Building, The Waterfront, Sprucewood Square (all the Community Lots) in Evergreen Harbor.
› Sutefani Onsen Bathhouse in Mt. Komorebi.
› Copperdale High School and Auditorium in Copperdale - NEW!
This save file includes all worlds from almost all packs (up to Copperdale), but you don’t have to worry, the Save File will work whether you own all the packs or not since your game will ignore the worlds you don't own.

Live TV Broadcast on Francesim 2, Special Edition ‘Oliver and Hortense, The Royal Wedding’

Statement by Jérôme Leicca, Head of the Emperor's Household, at the Press Conference on the Marriage of Hortense and Oliver of Scots.
Ladies and Gentlemen, members of the press, This royal marriage marks an important and symbolic moment for our two nations, and I am here to clarify the new legal and protocol situation of Her Royal Highness, Princess Hortense, to the French people. Princess Hortense, in marrying Prince Oliver, has acquired a new status as Princess of the Scots. She will henceforth be referred to as "Her Royal Highness, Princess Hortense." This title is a recognition of her integration into the Scottish royal house and her new role within it. This new status takes precedence over her French title, which she nevertheless retains as the sister of the Emperor of the French. This retention has been approved by His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Napoleon V, in accordance with imperial tradition and the provisions of our Constitution. Thus, her full title is: "Her Royal Highness, Princess Hortense of the Scots, Duchess of Rothsey, Countess of Carrick, Lady of the Isle of Sky, Madame de Francesim." As a member of the imperial family, Princess Hortense will continue to enjoy certain protocol privileges when she is in our country, in her capacity as Madame. However, her main responsibilities and commitments will now focus on her duties as the wife of the Prince of the Scots. The official functions and protocol engagements of the Princess in Francesim will be coordinated in close collaboration with the Scottish Royal Household to ensure harmony and consistency in her activities. It should be noted that Her Royal Highness will continue her studies in Francesim at the École Polytechnique for two more years. We kindly ask journalists to respect the privacy of the Princess and the newlywed couple while on French soil. In accordance with Article 2 of the Imperial Constitution, the children of Their Royal Highnesses will not have any rights of succession to the throne of Francesim. They will hold dual Franco-Scottish nationality but will not have any French imperial privileges. This event strengthens the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the empire of Francesim and the kingdom of Scotland. It symbolizes the unity and fraternity of our two nations, and we look forward to increased cultural and diplomatic exchanges as a result. The members of the Emperor's Household, with whom the Princess grew up, wish to express their warmest wishes for her marriage to the Prince Oliver.

~ The Wikipedia Page of Tsarina Sofiya Feodorovna ~
A big thank you to @lucky-content for the wikipedia template. I don't know how I would do this without it.
HQ Wikipedia version here
HQ versions of the photos under the cut (and apart of the wikipedia article I wrote that got cut off, and its my favorite part)
"Sofiya and Empress Odetta of Islavaria were friends since the marriage of Empress Odetta to Emperor Alexander II. “Sofiya knew what she wanted and no matter how difficult or impossible it was in theory, she would get it suprising everyone,” Odetta wrote in her personal diary. Sofiya and the Empress were the start of the Six Queens Alliance, bringing in their own allies to this meeting. Sofiya and Odetta long time friends, even in their old age, despite their age difference of sixteen years. “Odetta, my dependable friend. She was always there to lift me up and support me in my work whenever I needed. She was strong, and wanted to be for her loved ones. Her legacy is strong and I look forward to seeing what comes in honor of her,” Sofiya wrote after the funeral of Odetta in c 1856."
