I was playing Sims and my Sim (Icha) got pregnant for the 4th time (first was a miscarriage, then they had 2 healthy beautiful babies after having some pregnancy complications both times)

They found out on their oldest child's birthday too, she's going from toddler to child and in the next few days is their baby's birthday

ANYWAYS Icha finds out they're pregnant, and got really excited and went to tell their husband (Silas), who was ecstatic the last two kids, and was there to support and comfort them during the birthing process being an absolute champ,,, AND HE GOT UPSET!?

He was angry and yelling at them, and they were just SOBBING. Now he has a tense moodlet after storming off about not being happy about another child to care for, and they have a sad moodlet that's something like "how could he not be happy?" I was absolutely devastated!

I already have it set so this pregnancy will likely also end in a miscarriage cause ngl, I don't want them to have more than 2 kids. It just doesn't work for my story or characters, and I enjoy the drama, so they're already gonna feel immense heartbreak

Now, what was supposed to be a happy day, 1) their child's fucking birthday

2) the announcement of a new pregnancy, and

3) reconnecting with their estranged father (Vladius the vampire)

Has been turned into an already heartbreaking endeavor for my poor pregnant sim and I am so upset for them 😭

They still have to throw their little girl's birthday party....

some changes in the kameāloha household since we last saw them! amaya aged up into a child and the kameāloha's welcomed karlee to the family!

At the recreation center, Elyas bumped into a childhood friend, Stacius Harris. They were inseparable as children, but as teenagers, having to transition into the harsh world of adulthood, they had lost contact. Elyas had met Sarah, and knowing he had to do what was expected of him he married her. But he felt he needed to tell her that he... didn't experience romantic feelings for her that way.

There was only one person he'd ever felt that way for. And seeing him again, all those childhood feelings came rushing back to him. Sarah said she would be for him no matter what, even when he told her that he preferred men, so he knew she wouldn't fault him for this.

But he couldn't help but feel the guilt weighing on him. Not only was he betraying Sarah, who he loved like a best friend, but he was taught these feelings were wrong. A moral failing. He could suffer serious consequences were he to act on them, even if Sarah accepted him despite it.

To put it simply, he was in a bind.

Before this incident, I didn't know much about HIV/AIDS. But I did some research in preparation for this story update. I hope I handled the topic well enough 🥹

home regions and language barriers, two of those mods scared me for so long. i put it in my game…. and i see …..i see what the hype is all about. i dont think i can ever go back :D Coz what the heck….. Its so damn good especially when they’re paired together 👍🏼 (i’ve been putting in townies that looks like they belong in the world from the gallery and using the home regions mod to make them truly belong there as vendors etc) Game cannot be anymore immersive than this 😢

Oioi, lindesas! Aqui estou postando minha primeira tradução de um mod do The Sims 4, no qual é o mod RPO ( Relationship & Pregnancy Overhaul) do Lumpinou. Eu criei essa tradução, pois o mod atualizou e eu não achei uma tradução atualizada, então, resolvi criar essa tradução atualizada para a versão 2.97 do mod!

It took a few weeks of Rosemarie feeling like she had come down with something before she finally dragged herself to the doctor. She is not unfamiliar with sickness, as a child she was very frail and would often fall ill, but nothing made sense to her in terms of what it could possibly be.

At the hospital, she explained her symptoms and the doctor silently took notes. It was the usual round of questioning: what symptoms, when was your last menstrual cycle, how have you been sleeping, etc etc. None of these questions were surprising but Rosemarie felt they were ultimately unhelpful. She was getting her cycle regularly, sleep was okay. Really, what she felt was an undeniable fatigue, unexplained weight gain, headaches, and breathlessness.

If anything, this made Rosemarie feel as though they were on the right track. About half an hour later when a nurse returned and asked Rosemarie to follow her to a different examination room, Rosemarie felt differently. Perhaps, even a little afraid.

She stripped down as requested and laid down. When the doctor returned and told Rosemarie they were going to do an ultrasound, Rosemarie found it a little funny. That is until she saw the movement on the screen and the doctor confirmed her diagnosis. Pregnancy. Part of her was beyond excited, she felt ready for a little family. The other part of her reminded her that she wasn't even dating Akira. Right. Akira. She also needed to tell him.

Because, as it turns out, the lovely Lumpinou had updated the "Open Love Life" mod while I wasn't looking to allow Sims to go on multi-person dates! :D How this works is that Lumpinou made it a custom “social event,” so it’s planned like a party instead of a traditional date – Victor, having woken up flirty and suggested the idea to Alice, was the “date host,” and Alice and Smiler the “guests.” XD And the location of their date?

Center Park in the Myshuno Meadows neighborhood of San Myshuno! Which – uh – really isn’t all that great shakes, when you look at it. There’s a nice little gazebo, and a wedding area, and some nice fountains, and an observatory, and a house converted into a reception area for said weddings, but – not a lot of actual activities, you know? I tried spicing it up by adding some lot traits (Natural Light, Convivial, and Chef’s Kitchen for the kitchen on-lot) and a chess table into one of the sitting areas, but – eh. Starting to think I should have gone with my first instinct and just downloaded a replacement from the gallery.

-->However – thanks to Petey Plays It’s videos, I knew that the area AROUND the park was pretty hopping. And thus instead of staying in the sad snowy park, the gang instead headed down to the little party bar spot down the road, with its picnic tables and busking area, to pick up some snacks! Specifically, Victor and Alice both got some meat and cheese platters, and Smiler ordered a Plasma Jane to keep their thirst in check. :) I had a little trouble at first figuring out where to seat everyone to keep them all together so they could chat and fulfill date goals, but eventually I got them all lined up at the bar where they could talk, flirt, and tell jokes and stories. :) Which led to Victor and Smiler picking up a new family relationship – they’re officially Jokesters together now! Which is exactly what I wanted their relationship to be, so suits me fine!

-->Anyway -- Alice finished her meal first (thanks to werewolf "manners") -- to keep her busy while Victor and Smiler finished up, I had her go check out the nearest local monument plaque (celebrating the fishing heritage of San Myshuno and the Spangled Herring local to the area -- I didn't realize the city HAD lore. Interesting!). She then plopped down to make a snow angel as Victor and Smiler wandered over to share some party spirit and deep conversations (which Smiler decided they officially liked). The trio then indulged in a few smooches (well, Smiler and Alice both smooched Victor while the other looked on approvingly -- compersion!) –
