The Furniture Showroom (CC Pack for The Sims 4)

Over the last few months I have seen some pieces of furniture that I wanted to make but that didn't fit well in any of my previews cc pack ideas. I saved them for a while and I finally found a very cool idea where they all can live together: A Furniture Showroom.

And of course, I always have wanted to recreate the ICONIC Heart-shaped Bed and Hot Tub from The Sims 1 and well, since this is the cc pack of February, I thought it would be appropriate for Valentine's Day.

Along the kinky bedroom and the motel style patio, I created 4 more mini collections that you can use to decorate your Sims houses: a bathroom, a sunroom space, an eclectic reading area and a mini study room.

WooHoo Collection, the bed is inspired in the real life Heart-shaped Bed from the "Pass the Spark" MV featuring Anitta. 

Niagara collection. Inspired by the ICONIC Niagara Love Tub from The Sims: Hot Date.

Eccentric and Bogat collection.

Guan and Puzzlion collection.

TSM Medieval Rustic Kitchen & Bath - updated

Updated: better textures, meshes and tuning. Now all wood comes in 12 swatches. 

Set consists of:

1. A stove, bigger model 2. A stove, smaller model

3. Rustic counters, (3a: Rustic Clover, 3b: Rustic Wizard) edited from TSM end tables. They don't have all the modern counter options that Sims 4 modern counters have - they have 1 model, but otherwise full functionality and many slots. 4. There are also 1 corner piece, fully functional, to use in corners. 5. And there are 2 counters specifically made for 45 degrees corners - to use in the towers of castles. Or to combine with the included 6. Edited Rustic Peasant bar - edited to fit with these counters.

7. A humble Round Rustic Kitchen Buffet, for those occasions when you just don't want to cook. Equipped with Coolspears tuning - All foods in game available. There is also a second version with normal EA tuning - you can have both if you want to.

Family Home - Tan

Family Home Tan - No CC - Under 25k

I realized I hadn’t cross-posted this home to Tumblr yet, so I figured I should. :) If something is messed up, please let me know!

Here we have another Family Home, as usual under 25k in price and designed to house a full family - in this case a family of 5. Built in the mind-frame of three teens and parents living here, each teen (or child) has their own bedroom - complete with desk for homework! The kitchen is small, but functional and there are two full bathrooms to use (one with a shower and one with a tub). The living room has ample space to move around and watch TV, and even has an extra desk (perhaps for a computer). Pictures of the kids bedrooms are taken in twos - mainly because this wallpaper cuts off at the top and I wanted to show that I did use edged paper.

I hope your Sims enjoy this as much as I did building it. I really like this one.

This home has:

4 bedrooms.

2 full baths (one with a shower and one with a tub).

Fire alarm, burglar alarm, and phone.

Minimal landscaping to keep the cost inside rather than outside!

No CC was used, but all EPs/SPs are installed.

Wakin is well enough today to come with T'ika on her daily excursion. This morning the destination is the public bath house, where they're supposed to have to go to because their class isn't supposed to have a tub at home. but truth be told i've been keeping the green stench clouds away with water buckets from the well (thank you sun&moon!) hey if the rules meant i couldn't green the hygiene bar at home at all it shoulda bloody said as much

Miretsi's got issues

and T'ika's not having much more luck befriending Ulli Vuosttamus either. Oh well.

And home again. T'ika grills up some corn for all

And the pets have taken their Throne. One thing I actually think Sims 4 does better (gasp!) is 'pet hanging out'-animations. Mutia and Sky specifically are such drama makers but have a bed on the lot and they'll turn themselves into part-time statues of themselves. it's weird

A Tour of the Lot

The Exterior:

Designed to preserve the exterior design of the original property, the four apartments are accessed by two dedicated yards with trash access. The 'main street' of the now quiet pier was once host to hundreds of sims a day but is now a shared space for the tenants to enjoy some outdoor time together. The name 'Old Italia' is inspired by the patriotic paintjob left by the original inhabitants way back when the Pier was still an active fish market.

The Communal Spaces:

Although the outside of the former shops and services have remained unchanged, the interiors could not have changed more. Unlike the upstairs homes, the commercial property had no prospect of enduring and has since been repurposed for truly luxurious living.

Long Game Gym / Formerly Granny Beth's Bits n' Bobs

Once owned by the final inhabitant of the apartment above, Granny Beth's Bits n' Bobs was once the one stop shop for anything craft related in the local area. After a lucrative creative career Elizabeth 'Beth' McCann set about spreading her pink vision of the world. Unfortunately her rival and neighbour would have the last laugh as her grandson bought out the craft shop and replaced it with a gym inspired by his grandmother's domino aesthetic.

Adriatic Laundry Services / Formerly The Red Crane

Renowned as the best Asian cuisine this side of the Simissippi, the Red Crane was once the favourite spot of celebrities far and wide. Despite the fame, the owner never took advantage and became well known for his fair prices and wholesome family image.

Once attached to the apartments above, the Red Crane's kitchen still exists in the private residence and aspiring Chefs from across the country bid to stay for as long as they can, hoping they absorb some of that magic.

Now however, the once booming restaurant is providing services which removes grease from clothes, rather than contributing to it!

The Green Dragon / Formerly Bountiful Bouquets

Few people know, but San Sequoia used to be the source of many flower imports into SimNation, and no where else could the freshest and most exotic flora be found. Taking advantage of this luck was Bountiful Bouquets who it is said created the bouquets for a Royal Wedding!

Nowadays the shop has been converted into a community hobby centre; chess, painting, archaeology, woodwork and of course, flower arranging are available to any resident.

The Hidden Oasis / Formerly Giuseppe's Fishmonger

The heartbeat of the local economy was appropriately nestled in the middle of the main street trading in the best that came off the fishing boats. It was the only commercial endeavour that saw the start of the pier, and the end.

Afterwards it underwent the largest renovation of the four properties and was developed into a community pool. Decadence awaits you as you descend into a desert oasis amongst the busy suburban life. Equipped with pool, adult hot tub area and even a kids activity room, every member of the family can enjoy their day hiding from the desert sun.

The Apartments:

The Pink Lady - 2 bed, 1 bath. Unit Value: §75,628

One half of the most famous duo to be residents at the Old Italia Pier was Elizabeth 'Beth' McCann, a woman who it can safely be said, enjoyed pink. After a glittering career with her sister in the silent era of film she made the transition to the talkies, and then to colour films unlike her sister who seemed to be unable to keep up.

This lifelong resentment led to a bitter rivalry between the siblings, although most of it was aimed at Beth who for all intents and purposes was living her best life. Never marrying, Beth would adopt a son with her long time partner though they would later part ways causing scandal in the tabloids.

Tragedy would touch the McCann household despite Beth's happy disposition and she would end up raising her grandchildren after the death of her son and his wife necessitating some remodelling to accommodate such a lofty task.

No longer able to tread the boards or walk the red carpet, Beth consolidated her royalties and opened her 'Granny Beth's Bits n' Bobs' craft store and settled in for a quiet life.

The home has seen a lot of love, a lot of tears and a lot of knitting. It is perfect for an elder sim, or a small family of comfortable means.

Before heading to the jewelry-making bench to make her first set of jewelry! I decided to keep things basic for her first piece – quite literally, in fact, as the simplest set of jewelry you can make is the “Basic” set. XD I thus had her make a Basic metal bracelet out of the silver she’d picked up on her travels – I didn’t want to mess with anything more elaborate, in case it ended up botched (and thus couldn't be charged later on the crystal grid). Fortunately it didn’t, and she ended up with both an excellent-quality metal-wrap bracelet and Gemology skill 2. :D Maybe next time we’ll try something with a crystal in it!

-->As for Victor and Smiler – well, Smiler was feeling rather flirty after getting a message from a friend about a successful date she’d had, and Victor was full of confidence from having his familiar and getting a new spell. So, while Alice was making her jewelry, I had Victor go give Smiler a suave kiss, and sent them upstairs to Victor and Alice’s bedroom...

For a pillow fight! XD Okay, I was looking for the “Bed Makeout” interaction you get with the Cute Romance mod, but when I saw that I was like “I have never tried that and it seems like the kind of thing Smiler at least would do.” XD So yes, they went upstairs and promptly started thwapping each other with pillows until Victor ended up yielding to Smiler’s superior pillow skills. THEN they went ahead and had a bed makeout session (the interaction’s actually under the “romance” category when you click on a Sim – “Physical Affection,” natch). XD Once they’d had their fun, Smiler went to have a bath in their nice tub, while Victor dismissed Darkwing (who was probably like "can you dismiss me before you get frisky next time?") before heading down to his cauldron to do some experimenting. Alice finished up her bracelet while he was doing that and headed upstairs to resume writing her latest book, “Who Stole The Tarts” (on Smiler’s computer, of course), while Smiler headed downstairs to fix a wind turbine before going to chat with Victor and see how his experimenting was coming...

And that is where I left them, as it was getting a bit late and it was officially past midnight in the game. XD Whew – busy day, but a fun one! I am getting into them traveling around the various worlds in the game with their food stand and selling all sorts treats – it’s good gameplay, and makes sure I get them out of the house on the regular. XD Though speaking of their house, I’m starting to wonder if it’s time to revamp their lot...or perhaps move altogether. I like their little farm, but I don’t know if it really has the space for everything I want to do there. At the very least, it would be nice to add a basement for the nectar-making and aging...I’ll have to think about this some more!

However, next time we don't have house revamps – instead, we have party fun! Because I wanted to have Smiler send summer out on a high note, and because they hadn't seen some of their other friends in a while. What kind of party did they host? You'll have to find out next time –

But I will give you this hint: if you know anything about my experiences in Sims 4, you will know I consider this party at least LIGHTLY cursed.

Modern Family Mansion VII

Contemporary luxury family mansion for your Sims. With this one, I tried to blend in a modern buid with lush tropical gardens. This build comes in 2 versions, one including CC and one without. Both have the exact same exterior (aside from a few doors), landscaping and floorplans, but are different when it comes to the interiors. The photos shown are from the CC version, the CC free version does have the same interior style.

Lower level : Guest/Butler studio (with it's own kitchen and bathroom), garage, workshop, gym/spa/pool/sauna/full bathroom, cinema, lounge area, wine room, utility room, 2 half baths and vault. It's possible to add more rooms on this level, a corridor has already been built.

Main level : Entry, main hallway, formal living room, dining room, kitchen + chef's kitchen, laundry, office and 2 half bathrooms. Access to the front balcony equipped with planters for gardening.

Upper level : family/games room, master suite (with a private bathroom, sitting area, walk-in closet and balcony), 4 bedrooms (all with a private bathroom, walk-in closet and balcony, some feature a pantry)

Garden : on mutiple levels. Comes with an outdoor kitchen, several seating areas, large pool, playground and hot tub.
