hey simblr! it's my first ever post so like, what's a better way to start your "career" as a blogger than by releasing new cc? i was in desperate need of eyeliner that i could use on my gyaru sims and with other j-fashion looks but nothing quite suited my personal needs so i decided to go ahead and make one myself!

NOTE: i didn't find it to be a big issue, but please note that the eyeliner does conflict with some blushes and skin details because of the overlapping textures! it looked fine with most of mine, but it's something i noticed and couldn't fix at this moment, so it's worth mentioning.

NOTE #2: if the eyeliner is used with a lash mod, i highly suggest using lashes just for the upper half! some modded lashes look a bit goofy because the lower lashline is set too high for the eyeliner!

Yes, I have another WIP: Replacing Pet Food texture, Pet bowl, and Pet Packaging. I had wish to replacing these since 2018, now as I understand principle of Default Replacement modding, this is dream comes true. So far all of them are working and well replaced.

So here we are Jiang Weiyuan pouring Dog Food for his favorite Corgi dog: Jia Jia.

Don't worry. I create Cat food version too.

EA's Luxury Pet Bowl made me dizzy due to its intricate "Luxury" Gold carving taken too literally. No pet bowl has gold carving like EA made, so I replaced with my My First Pet Bowl mesh I made from year 2018.

As for Spring Rolls, I postponed it, because it still doesn't look right. I need more time to polish it.

I postpone these all projects because I'm really tired of keep making The Sims projects and possibly burnout for this past 2-3 weeks. Recently I helped fellow Simblr with his building project asking feedback about Chinese building and this day I had uploaded several CC to ModTheSims for backup. I cannot rely on blogger and Tumblr only, because many Sims players do not have access to Tumblr.

I need to go back to reality, play more video games that I bought but haven't played. I will back soon to The Sims community with CC if I'm ready.

First of all, thank you very much for your ask. Knowing that my sims and/or my gameplay can inspire other simmers to play means a lot to me cause The Sims 3 is my favorite game in the whole Sims series. Plus, I love my sims, so this makes me twice as happy. 🤗💖

That said, it is my duty to warn you that The Sims 3 is not an easy game to maintain, it requires a lot of care and patience, even from the moment of its installation. You ask me what it takes to make it run smoothly and make it stable, well I'm no expert, but what helped me with that is all contained in this Steam post. I believe these tips you can follow even if you don't have your game on Steam. I followed all these steps when I reinstalled my game back in 2017-18, and I have never had a problem like lag or crashes since then.

It's thanks to the amazing person who wrote that post and to talented modders like @lazyduchess and Twallan (Nraas Mods), whose mods I consider indispensable, that I have been able to play The Sims 3 without problems for years now. I may have had a couple of crashes due to some wrong or corrupt cc, but that's on me because I download a lot of stuff. In those cases, it's a matter of locating the bad cc, taking it out, and that's it. The game runs great, even with a ton of mods installed. (I have a 9 GB mods folder, and I've had more than that at times, lol, but I try to keep in less than 10 GB always).

As for what mods and cc's to use to make the sims look good, well, that would depend on your taste, or as they say now, on the aesthetics of your game or your sims.

For what it's worth, I have always used Ephemera's E-WEAK skin as default. I also use some other Ephemera's like E-Skin Natural MIX, Asia and Fresh. I use some by Kurasoberina too.

I think Ephemera's site doesn't exist anymore, but the E-WEAK skins I use can be downloaded on MTS here. Kurasoberina TS3 skins you can find them here along with more of their fabulous content.

I'm sure there are other skins much newer, and super nice too, but these are the ones I use, cause they give my sims the look they are known for. 😊

Also I use Tifa N38 default eyes, as well as Buhudain's You Are Real body and face maps replacements to give some realism to my sims' skins/bodies. Neither Tifa's nor Buhudain's sites exist anymore, unfortunately, but you can still find Buhudain's archives on this SFS page. And those of Tifa in this other one in Mega. (I hope I am not doing wrong by sharing them, otherwise I will remove them).

There's also this stunning version of Buhudain's You are Real by @nectar-cellar named You are Hyperreal. :)

As for the rest, if I start listing all the other content I use such as hair, clothes and makeup I would never finish, I'd gladly share my whole mods folder, but I don't want to piss off the creators, or blow-up other players' computers, lol. I'm WCIF friendly, though, so feel free to ask for any specific content, of any type, CAS or Buy/Build, I got my custom content well documented, so I'll provide you with links to any of them.

For the time being, here is this link to my custom Content List on my Blogger. I have kept this list for many years, and I still use most of that content; it may be a little outdated of course, cause I have a lot of new stuff now, so my intention is to update the page soon when/if I have the time. Also, some of the links may not work anymore, if so just let me know and I'll fix them for you if I'm able.

7th of July 2023: ask to WooHoo in Walk-In Closet, Sims can WooHoo in vampire coffin, flyable TS4 rocket - added fairy houses to custom WooHoo spots recognised by “Meduza_AskToWooHoo_social“ mod

9th of July 2023: TS3 fairy houses with more options - updated because I forgot to copy Global Data resource, and as a result sleeping, WooHooing, peeing and taking a bath were throwing errors.

12th of July 2023: Philosimy’s makin’ magic dress for elders, TS3 Supernatural fairy lily and rose bottoms for elders - fixed UV in the ankles area using @letomills​‘ mesh fix

23rd of July 2023: part 3 of bending mod - fixed an oversight that caused Sim A (initiator) to skip animations and memory of killing another Sim. Additionally, Sims killing by lightning received new animation alongside with cool visual effects. “Strike with lightning” has been renamed to “Kill with lightning”.

25th of July 2023: Joker cure - fixed an omission in both versions of ‘social’ file that made the interaction available on Jokers even if the active Sim didn’t have the cure in their inventory

27th of July 2023: part 3 of bending mod - made “Meduza_Fire_kill_lightning“ compatible with useable Mjolnir

5th of August 2023: afbodyrockstar converted for men - fixed normals in the neck area

5th of August 2023: medieval cat nip sack, yarn ball as cat toy - implemented @gummiluttmts​‘ fix - now teens and elders can clean up dirty cat nip

9th of August 2023: zombie attack - Sims won’t receive memories of killing or being killed if Sim B is unkillable or if Sim A lost the fight (with the mistake made in this update fixed on the 12th of August)

14th of August 2023: blogging increases social need - added four more mods to make my mod compatible with Cyjon’s Professional Blogger mod with Squinge’s Creativity Gain Enabled For Blogging & Diary. Read more about new versions in this post.

14th of August 2023: TS3 surfer fence - separated mesh and made all three recolors share it

14th of August 2023: lightning fence - added animated lightning fence. It can be used alongside original non-animated one. It also costs $10. From now on both animated lightning fence and non-animated lightning fence require file Meduza_LightningFence_MESH (included with in the zip).

23rd of August 2023: custom date reward - added three versions of the mod compatible with @episims​‘ Date Reward Flowers by Color Traits. Read more about new versions in this post.

YES BC I WROTE THAT HES IN THE STUDENT COUNCIL WHAT 😳😳😳 liek like liek he abuses his power of a high rank and gets to do stuff like other students can’t, like pull you out off class when he feels like it, or study with you in a private area instead of the crowded library.

But just cause he’s respected, doesn’t mean he’s not scummy. Heizou is always resting his hand on the lower of your back and trailing it down until either it finally lands on your behind, or you pull away before he he has the chance to grope you. He’s so kind and gives you cold bottles of water, but spits it in, so every time you take a sip, your basically kissing tbh. He’s putting what he thinks are love letters in your locker, but they’re actually kind of disturbing from the way he tells you things that he probably shouldn’t know, like “I love how kind you are to your dog, it’s just so adorable.” Or “I see the way people are your job are quite rude to you, maybe you should quit.” It’s just kinda creepy, but he thinks he’s doing a good job.

He’s not shy like scummy scara, instead he’s more proud, and popular. People don’t shove his shoulders when he walks past, but high five, and greet him. He teases you to get a reaction, and I guarantee that whatever reaction you do give him, it’s gonna give him a boner. You look flustered after he complimented your body? Oh you just look so cute that he couldn’t help it. You look annoyed? He likes the way your eyes narrow at him, and couldn’t help it. You look mad, and walk away? Holy fuck that was so hot, and if you yelled at him, he probably would have cum a little tbh.

#3 in my ongoing quest to makeover the CAS pre-made sims! <3 Carly was made using the wonderful Kat Jenkins as her base! No changes were made to her body, facial structure, weight, etc. Her official biography made her out to be a hopeless romantic, and I zeroed in on that idea; hence what's more hopelessly romantic than the aesthetic of lovecore/cupidcore! (´♡‿♡`)

Making her was a lot of fun, but there were some troubles I encountered; namely her huge boobs proved to be something of a challenge. (//ω//) I wanted to use a shoulder-slung purses and bags on her but they would clip often because of her breasts or her thick body, which was a shame--plus size Sims need love too!

Sims In Bloom: Generation 2 Pt. 3 (Mother's Day!)

Dylan Kraus' clingy mother, Susan, who stepped down as Henford’s mayor a week after her daughter left town to follow her to San Myshuno, made the girls breakfast while Heather talked about her date with Malcolm.

Then Dylan caught Heather up on life in the big city, and gushed about the handsome blogger she'd met in her building’s laundry room. She showed off a recent picture with him on her phone, but the sun was coming up; Heather had to return to Henford to celebrate Mother’s Day. She left excited to meet Dylan’s new boyfriend, Gavin Richards, another time. Likewise, Dylan was very interested in meeting Malcolm, and they talked about the possibility of a double date when Heather was back in town.

Though she loved her gifts, Daisy spent Mother’s Day doing what she loved – with her elbows deep in the soil of Henford’s gardens. She planted flowers at the Scotts’ next door before she paid her respects to her old friend, Eliza Pancakes, planting a rosebush at her grave in her honour. Daisy’s children were all getting older and the house on Cobblebottom Street would begin to empty as they started their lives, so though the day was all about her, she cherished the weather and her family’s company more than ever.

Heather told her mother all about her night. Daisy was happy she’d found someone and encouraged her daughter to follow her heart. Heather was independent and responsible, and Daisy told her to trust her instincts, even though Heather’s instincts were confused. But the next few weeks were about Spencer and Everett, so she set aside her feelings to focus on her coming vacation.

Has it really been since May that we spent any real time with our climb club family?!? Perhaps a little recap is needed? I’m not gonna reblog all of the related stories, because it would be a lot! But I will reblog one little piece, because there’s something relevant in the next story piece and the funny needs to hit just right, you know?

So, who’s who?

Maya (the only female) is their fearless leader and trainer. She’s married to Tyler (big beefcake on the left!), whose family owns the park. They fell in love with climbing when they honeymooned in Mt. Komorebi after their wedding. Maya had a stronger knack for climbing, while Tyler is decent but loves snowboarding more.

Jack Phoenix. Gen 3 LH Phoenix family legacy sim, so he’s no townie! Super star climber. He and Jordan bonded over their mutual misfortune of having dead dads.

Darren and Kristoff, the two dudes on the right.

Darren (second-to-right) hasn’t really made a character of himself yet. (I wish he would though, because he’s super cute and unproblematic—need one of my sims to marry this dude!)

Kristoff (far right) is an actual criminal, which is kind of funny because Jack is a cop. Kristoff is not invited to the Phoenix family Thanksgiving dinner. Jordan and his whole family are, though.

Nessa is Jack’s wife. Super star wife, business executive, and cancer survivor. She loves Maria already and they haven’t even met yet.

So, like, all these stories happened about 4 weeks ago in story time, but it’s been about 6 months IRL. My timeline goes like that.

Stories coming soon! My little one is off school for a long weekend right now, so… we’ll see. Hoping for later tonight, but probably Monday night. Promises cannot be promised. 🙃
