Plain, but Pastel: 4t2 Wallpaper Conversion Recolors

Who doesn't like something soft and pretty to look at? More importantly, who said pastel colors need to be subdued?! I've made this pastel(ish) conversion of TS4's Plain, but Pretty wallpaper for Sims 2.

-> If you want all 12 colors, download the .package and place in your downloads folder.

-> If you want to be picky and choosy, download the .zip file, extract the .packages, and place your selected colors in your downloads folder. Easy stuff!

Here's an in-game glance at all the nice shades you can use to adorn your homes (the photo was taken with reshade on, your mileage may vary slightly i’m silly no it wasn’t)! Same as last time, it's §7 per tile.

No Sim's Sky Part 2 - 18 Retro Posters from No Man's Sky

Happy Sunday everyone! Today I'm sharing more retro-style posters from one of my other favorite games, No Man's Sky. Details and download under the cut! 🚀

Awhile ago I shared these No Man's Sky poster conversions, and since then they've added a lot of new designs to the game. There are 18 additional posters in this set, once again on Veranka’s 3t2 Back to Retro Poster mesh:

A numbered swatch is included so you can easily keep just what you like. I should have more of these to share soon-ish (there's a new expedition running currently, plus I haven't converted any of the landscape or square designs yet). I'll also have some more NMS-related content for TS2 to share soon! 👀

Today's treat is a series of base relief wood carvings on the Dancing Around the Tree wall hanging from Apartment Life. I wanted to try something different and I haven't seen many (any?) recolors of this mesh, even though I think it's pretty cute.

All the images, except for Danse Macabre, are AI-generated. There's AI weirdness in some of the images, but for me, it added an element of surrealism that worked here. Danse Macabre is from Michael Wolgemut's art in The Nuremberg Chronicles (1493). Frogs are an extra because I like frogs.

All files are clearly labeled and the preview images are included.

Possible issue: If you use Thread and Sandpaper's Sweet Down Low painting defaults, the thumbnail might appear too low in the catalog. I had to remove the file "EP8ALDancingAroundTheTree" and refresh the thumbnails. You can put the default back in after that and the thumbnails will stay fixed unless you delete your thumbnail package or refresh them.

hi guys, just a lil quick tiny gift today for valentines day since I uploaded something last year on vday, just to keep the tradition lol!

I made a simlish version of the poster for the film House (1977). It's on artig (FT), and would look great in your sims' movie theaters. I recommend downloading some artig add-ons like these so you can also use it in smaller spaces!

Then a kooky wallpaper I found on an old site archiving vintage wallpaper. I made it seamless and made some recolors. Different molding options (cluedo brown williamsburg molding and black curiona molding) and they come with no molding as well. Red wall doesn't have black molding cuz it didn't vibe, and I included the black molding on walls where the brown was prob too garish for people without my love for garish walls lol.

Designed after this Dean Bryant Vollendorf house called "Camelot". This is on the Gallery, but it has CC in it. I'll upload an unfurnished version sometime this week, I'm loving it too much right now.

There are some areas where the round walls clip. I did my best to hide them, but hey, round walls effing suck in general.

Plain, but Pittsburgh 4t2

It never ends! I converted my first CC wallpaper from 4 to 2 as I've recently found myself sucked back into the 2004 hit.

With trim is §7 per tile, without is §3 per tile. All are located in the "Paint" category.

Please note! Since this is a 4t2 conversion-type wallpaper, the base trim is a bit thicker than the standard in TS2. I can live with it, so I hope you can, too, and just enjoy it. :) There is also a slight seam when using the wallpapers between walls and at certain angles; this was an issue in my TS4 version as well.

Unswitchable Switch - 4t2 Base Game Conversion

This is another tiny TS4 base game conversion, but I really like light switches, soooo... 😅

I didn't think two colors was enough, so it now comes in 10 12 15 colors. Most of them are Valkyrie colors; a couple I just threw in there to round out what I thought I'd use (yes, yes I will use multiple shades of green light switches, thank you for asking). I also removed the shine.

A numbered swatch is included (mesh and 02 are the original TS4 colors if you're a purist). You'll find them under Wall Hangings for $0.

Another Wall Mounted Landline Telephone (+ Fire Sprinkler box)

Okay, in all seriousness; the “Fire Prevention System Utility Panel” / the sprinkler box is a real eyesore. Because EA didn't consider the fact that people have aesthetic standards and due to how revolting the fire box looks; people go out of their way to HIDE it in their builds!

That’s why I made this item which looks more like a telephone and is inspired by The earlier Sims’ games’ burglar alarms and real life security systems.

I also made a second decorative version that functions as a very dim light source. You can have both files in-game at the same time

This download has 2 files: 📞 File number 1: Utility System/Fire Sprinkler box  Functions as an alternative to the in-game fire sprinkler box. This is not a default replacement.

Picture provided at the end of the post for size comparison as well. The new alarm is a bit smaller and less of an eyesore. 😅 📞 File number 2: Wall-Lamp This is only decorative. Produces a dim light.

Background/Personal Notes: What inspired this object is The Sims 2 in general with its security system against burglars and its old-school telephones (Gotta appreciate the nostalgia!) BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY: the main reason i created this telephone as an alternative is THE GOD AWFUL FIRE SPRINKILER BOX! IT’S SO HIDEOUS! So I started off making this purely as a second option for the Sprinkelr box but soon decided to also make a lamp. LIKE, I TOOK PERSONAL OFFENSE TO HOW UGLY THE SPRIMKLER IS. Also, i currently can't spell the word sprinklier because I’m pissed off and NO i won't fix my spelling because i’m javing a moment. 😅
