"Goodbye" is a song written by Paul McCartney and performed by Mary Hopkin. It was released on 28 March 1969. The song was conceived as a follow-up to the success of Hopkin's first single, produced by McCartney, titled "Those Were the Days", which was highlighted on her debut album Postcard, one of the first records issued by the newly founded Apple Records. In later years, McCartney had little recollection of creating the song, which was written in a great hurry to capitalize on Hopkin's popularity, but he did recall being told by a boat skipper from the Orkney Islands that it was the man's favourite song, which seemed appropriate to McCartney since, "if you think of it from a sailor's point of view, it's very much a leaving-the-port song."

aled mention in heartstopper now they're at 6th form makes me feel unwell .... i think i sent you an ask about this forever ago but i literally feel like i'm grieving a dead character when he's Right There. he's coming up on probably the worst year of his life and his friends have no idea!! they'll have no idea when it happens!! and my osemanverse timeline knowledge is a little scattered but i'm pretty sure at this point in heartstopper aled's sister has already left home? so he's all alone with his mother and literally no one knows and he hasn't even met frances yet ....... aled last you are everything to me

LITERALLY EXACTLYYYYY...... aled's prescence in heartstopper is such an unexpected sad detail :( i always think ab that moment where aled and charlie discuss daniel but aled first has to explain who daniel is. and it's framed very casually but like daniel is such a massive part of aled's life! and yet charlie doesn't even know about his existence!!!!???!!! ALED TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS PLEASE... THEY LOVE YOU...........

and yes you're right that carys is already gone by this point-- she left when they were 15, and currently it's nick's 18th birthday (september) in the comic which means aled had his 16th birthday the month before (august). the worst thing that could happen to him has already happened and now it is only going to get worse for a few years. and all we can do as a reader is just watch him deteriorate in the background of someone else's story bc he's not yet at a point where he can do anything about it. incredibly upsetting

okay i know we all write super complicated and sad reasons for alastor and vox to have split and become enemies, but i'd like to propose a few very dumb reasons:

vox asked alastor to join the vees but alastor really didn't wanna ruin the name scheme

vox made a ur mom joke and alastor was SO offended

after vox replaced his first head he made a joke about replacing alastor's too but al thought he was serious and ran away

I agree 150% with it 😂 and I feel the same, I don't hate bottom!Luci but there are too many posts like this and too many "weak" Lucifer with powerful/manipulator Al. I wish to see Al having a phase "I am both scared AND horny WTF" after seeing Lucifer in all his power and wrath then have thoughts like "my main sin is Pride but this monster might turn it into Lust at this rate!" after getting railed! 😆
