Last song you listened to: I don’t even know, I don’t listen to music as much now that I’m working from home and not driving to work anymore.

Currently reading: Play Training Your Dog. LOVE the book, highly recommend it (especially for those who are working with sighthounds), though my puppy grabbed it off my shelf and shredded the back half. It looks like he just got the appendix though so hopefully I can finish it.

Last movie: I don’t even know lol

Last show: I’m currently re-watching Castle. Love the first three seasons, it starts going downhill IMO after that. But I’ve seen it a ton so I can watch it as I sim and not worry about missing anything.

Craving: Sleep. It’s so miserably hot and I have two young sighthounds who need as much free running as possible, so I’ve been staying up until midnight so they can be outside from 8:30 or so to about 11 and then getting up at 3 AM to kick them back out until 7 when I get up and get ready for work. I’m so tired but it’ll be worth it to have my gorgeous show potential puppies reach their full potential. SO TIRED OF IT BEING SO HOT THOUGH. 100-110 degrees F and really shitty AC so it’s around 90F inside. I hate the summer

What are you wearing right now: Pajama pants and a T shirt (From Mad Dog Metal Works that says “It’s a beautiful day for plastic bag murder sports” and I’m obsessed. Def wearing this shirt when I take Pierce lure coursing in a few weeks)

How tall are you: Like around 5′6 I think

Piercings: None, I’ve had my ears pierced twice and both times I had to let them close up. I’m apparently not meant to have pierced ears.

Tattoos: None yet, though I want a galloping borzoi eventually, and maybe Pierce’s pawprint.

Glasses/contacts: I am blind and can’t see without my contacts. I need to get glasses though, ever since I got COVID last year I get headaches from staring at a computer screen for too long. I need to get blue light glasses but I’m also curious to see if switching from contacts to regular glasses makes a difference.

Last thing you ate: Popeyes classic chicken sandwich with cajun fries.

Favourite colour: Blue, green, and purple. I like cool colours.

Current obsession: Borzoi, for now and always. They are my life.

Any pets: I have four dogs (all borzoi), two lionhead rabbits, and an evil leopard gecko

Favourite fictional character: Hmmm, I don’t know. Probably Kate Beckett from Castle because I think she’s absolutely perfect and will name a dog Beckett someday. Also obsessed with MASH, particularly Hawkeye Pierce (hence my dog’s call name)

Last place you traveled: Albuquerque, NM for a dog show. About to travel to Flagstaff AZ in two weeks for another dog show (and then Show Low AZ the weekend after that for an AKC lure coursing trial, and then October and November will also feature dog shows almost every weekend hopefully)

Natasha Romanoff Headcanons

Headcanons for Black Widow. Extended into how I would write for her.

Has mastered lucid dreaming, although struggles to take control of nightmares. 

It’s very regular, when in a relationship with Natasha, to spoon in bed while watching something. Just a very intimate, quiet series of moments, sharing afterglows and syncing heartbeats.

Always happy to help children, you, whoever else, with homework. 

Very honest about mental illness. A lot of people provide either comfort, or solutions to those with mental illness. Natasha sits down, and she’s very accepting. She’ll tell you about her downs, the things she’s gone through and how she felt, the happy memories, the bad memories, everything. And it really does help, because it’s genuine and personal and there’s no judgement. 

I don’t know what to say about Natasha’s sexuality. In the comic books, Natasha only ever dates men. Doctor Doom, Hawkeye, Daredevil, etc. So canonically, Black Widow is straight. But for fanon sake, let’s say she’s at least heteroflexible here. 

Enjoys back massages.

A chocolate fan! But in a romantic, chocolate lava cake, chocolate soufflé, berries and caramel way.

Actually really hates being sexualized. I see it all the time in comics and movies. While Natasha is a very sexy, femme fetal character, if a creepy person were to bring it up, she’d break their nose. 

Enjoys chocolate chip-cookie dough icecream. 

Watches a lot of psychological, horror, thrillers, whatever, when bored and for fun. 

Doesn’t have any pets or plants. She thinks she’d kill them right away, although she has nothing against them. If Natasha gets flowers, she’ll actually try to take care of them. Like watering them every day, but it’s not regular or anything.

A bath and bodyworks enjoyer. Natasha likes smelling soaps.

Also likes smelling scented candles. 

Natasha plays the sims. 100%.

Likes hot chocolate in the winter. She’ll add whipped cream, cinnamon, sprinkles, chocolate sauce, etc. 

If there’s an avengers groupchat or whatever, she is one of the least talkative people there. It varies groupchat to groupchat. 

A very high alcohol tolerance.

the end was very predictable and i pretty much already knew halfway through the movie what was gonna happen. but it still was quite thrilling and I did enjoy watching it

hell yes, one of my favourite marvel movies. Wanda and Pietro.. Hawkeye.. all the little jokes throughout the entire movie and of course the scene where everyone tries to lift thor’s hammer, what’s not to love about this movie

In 2024 a pandemic ravages the world and it’s cities. Centering a handful of people as they naviagete the obstacles currently hindering society: disease, marital law, quarantine, and vigilantes.

I really enjoyed watching this. yeah sure, the ending was obvious but I was still glued to the screen. I also felt super weird watching this, kinda surreal because we are basically living a more harmless version of this rn. I really liked seeing sofia carson in such a movie, I’ve only seen her in the descendants so this was a bit of a change haha. I’m not that big of a fan of kj but he was great as well and i really loved his characters style.

6. star trek

The brash James T. Kirk tries to live up to his father’s legacy with Mr. Spock keeping him in check as a vengeful Romulan from the future creates black holes to destroy the Federation one planet at a time.

I put it on because I wanted to have some background noise while playing sims but I ended up playing like 20 minutes and then just watching the movie haha I forgot how good it was, and the others as well, aaand I totally forgot carl urban was in it, so that was a little surprise. anyways, can recommend watching them if you’re into sci-fi action movies but at the same time, if you’re into that I’m pretty sure you’ve already watched them.

bonus: I also watched star trek beyond the other day but this time I was barely paying attention so I can't really say too much, but it's also quite good👍🏻

A group of teens discover secret plans of a time machine, and construct one. However, things start to get out of control.

okay... I did enjoy watching it! the beginning was a little slow imo but then it just got more and more intense which was kinda nice. god, at some point the main guy kept making the wrong decisions and that was very frustrating to watch. the ending was alright, spoiler ahead (I guess) I would have liked the ending more if it was the exact same as the beginning, meaning that the movie is just one big time loop and the events from the movie were about to repeat themselves. but that's just my opinion🤷🏻‍♀️

another one of my favorite mcu movies. it's just fun and easy and doesn't have a lot of pain in it. the giant ant it's my favorite part haha I want it as a pet

10. space sweepers

Set in the year 2092 and follows the crew of a space junk collector ship called The Victory. When they discover a humanoid robot named Dorothy that's known to be a weapon of mass destruction, they get involved in a risky business deal.

starring: Song Joong-Kim, Kim Tae-ri, Seon-kyu Jin, Hyang-gi Kim, Richard Armitage, Ye-Rin Park

I really loved this movie. I cried like 6 times haha, which came unexpected. (or maybe it's because I'm suppose to get my period any day now) I did not think I was going to enjoy this movie as much as I did, at all. it was fun, it was exciting, it was sad (even my dad said that) the plot was good, the visual effects were amazing, it did feel like I was watching this movie for like 5 hours but not in a bad way and I am now kinda emotionally attached to the characters haha (I might do a rewatch). another thing I really liked was the language/synchronization. in the original version they speak mostly korean and english but also some other languages and it's the same in the synchronizations. the dialogue of the main characters is in the language you pick but every other character (I guess) is a different language and I absolutely love that. I highly recommend watching this!!

also, its was super weird seeing Richard Armitage not as a dwarf hahaha

A teen girl in 1970's Berlin becomes addicted to heroin. Everything in her life slowly begins to distort and disappear as she befriends a small crew of junkies and falls in love with a drug-abusing male prostitute.

I binged the series the other day and after the last episode this movie was in the "watch next" thingy idk and I thought "well, why not" and watched it. good movie, definitely!! I really liked that they didn't show the highs of doing heroin but focused on the negative effects it has on someone and what it's doing to your body. it is a super realistic but very very dark movie. the actors were all about 15/16 years old and looked very young which was a good and kinda disturbing thing because christiane and her friend were like 13/14 when that all happened and it made you realise that there were kids doing all that stuff

I am tired and don't really want to say all that much other than both of them are very good and I do like them. good action/adventure movies. can definitely recommend them. I definitely like the first one more because it feels like (just a little bit) that the main story in the second one is the same as in the first one, someone creates a new dinosaur species to make more money and something goes terribly wrong along the way. but it's still entertaining!

omega squad having to do a disaster training simulation???

Lol this has to be a hc list because I can’t do that in sims XD

-Every sixish months, the Justice League has all their young heroes come together for an all-day training. 

-The first thing they do is a training simulation. 

-When they were first formed, Omega squad was trash because they argued over everything.

-Of course, now, they’re actually one of the best teams.

-Their leaders are the reason they work so well.

-Lian immediately takes Milagro and Mar’i to sweep the perimeters and get the best vantage point. 

-Irey takes Jai and they focus on getting any civilians out of danger. 

-Damian, Jon, and Colin assess the current threat. They might engage for a minute to get a sense of the danger. 

-They report on the comms

-Once everything’s secure and the civilians are out of danger, they set a plan and fucking attack.

-Jon and Mar’i are the hard hitters, literally. Starbolts and Laser vision mixed with superstrength make them the best front liners.

-Jai, Colin, and Milagro will focus on any henchmen nearby

-Lian’s perched up on a building a la Hawkeye, making sure the menace stays contained

-Irey and Damian are the sneaky speedy tag team attacking between Jon and Mar’i’s attacks

-They all go to a special place in their mind when they’re in hero mode. It’s low-key terrifying watching them

I never watch anime. Just Fairy Tail and Seven Deadly Sims really. But I’ve wanted to watch this for a long time.

Two minutes in and I would die for Al.

I love the art style.

1) If someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?

How many showtunes can one listen to before being driven insane. But I’d say Falsettos and Fun Home. “Last Podcast on the Left” is what really drove me to get my podcast on campus. I’d also say to watch like, a TON of old movies because those are a Big hyperfixation of mine. In particular I love Peter O’Toole and James Stewart, as well as Malcolm McDowell. I’d also say Milk and The Times of Harvey Milk. “M*A*S*H” as well is really big to me, ofc. Mmmmm as far as reading I can’t really think of anything. I love the Romanticism-era poetry tho. I also really love “Hamlet” and “Macbeth” and “The Things They Carried.” Watching and reading Ordinary People is also very big and close to my heart.

2) Have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?

I probably have but I can’t think of any rn h a. I CAN say that the symmetry of Wes Anderson films is intensely pleasing to my OCD ass. (Shoutout to Prozac btw.) Like, that shit is just SO good to me and I’m like Mr. Anderson. You Get It.

4) Do you like your name?  is there another name you think would fit you better?

I quite like my name and also like Sheridan, which was almost my name, whether I was born male or female. Would have gotten named after a tank tho so. We All Have To Make Sacrifices. Feel free to call me Hawkeye too!

5) Do you think of yourself as a human being or a human doing? do you identify yourself by the things you do?

Bro I’m just existing. I’m just kinda here doing shit and being shit and being perceived by others and not liking being perceived differently than how I see myself. But for like, my WHOLE life my identity was based around my academic achievements which blows so I don’t like to identify myself by anything academic now. I’d like to be identified by my kindness and passion for things.

8) What musical artists have you most felt connected to over your lifetime?

I grew up listening to the B.B. King and Eric Clapton album “Riding With The King” and I have a very vivid memories connected to that album, like ones of a better time in childhood. All Time Low as well, I’ve been listening to them since my freshman year of high school. Anything classic rock really but Journey has just been a big thing around me since middle school. MCR and FOB were also bands I listened to growing up, as well as Panic!. Franz Ferdinand I started listening to 2 years ago but I love their stuff. I also have a soft spot for classical music but can’t name any people in particular. I’m a big fan of Dvorak’s “New World Symphony”, the 4th movement specifically. It slaps. “Adagio for Strings” by Barber as well! I’ll also say Shura.

There’s a video of the 4th movement of the “New World Symphony” being performed for the Pope I believe and that conductor is just OFF THE SHITS it’s so good.

10) Do you have a creed?

Not really, not that I can think of. I just try and believe that I should give people the benefit of the doubt or at least, consider other emotions and reason why people are acting a certain way and not just immediately dismissing them. I try and keep an open mind about most things, just taking everything into consideration before I pass judgment or judgments.

11) Describe your ideal day.

Oooh, I’m going back into the brain bank for this one.

Bringing back “Riding With The King”, a cool summer day, doors open and letting the air come in. My favorite music played loud, I’m hanging out with my friends and loved ones, having drinks and eating good food out in the backyard, playing in the old inflatable pool by the back deck that made jumping in real easy. Having grilled shish kebobs, watching the sunset and looking at the stars in the night sky, chasing the dog around in the backyard, looking at the fireflies.

Another later memory was getting up at a good time, the windows are open and it’s a crisp spring morning, I’m at the desktop computer playing The Sims 2 loaded up with custom content from the now-defunct Sims 2 website exchange. My dad makes a big breakfast of pancakes, bacon, eggs, English muffins with apple butter. He probably found a war movie on TV. I’m making plans with my best friend Kim to come over the next weekend or the weekend after. I just get to act like I’m a regular kid with a regular family and things are good.

13) Inside or outdoors?

INSIDE... unless it’s cool out, in which case outside. I’d love to have a screened-in porch someday. I hate bugs.

15) Five most influential books over your lifetime.

HOO okay let’s think. The “Shiloh” series and the “Warrior Cats” series. “The Things They Carried” as well as “Ordinary People.” I’d also say the “Harry Potter” series because that was really big for me growing up. I’m gonna fudge this and add “Twilight” and “Vladimir Tod” because I loved vampire fiction. “Frankenstein” as well, and “Hamlet.”

17) Would you say your Tumblr is a fair representation of the “real you”?

I’m a lot dumber in real life. Beez pucciverse just saw a video of me last night eating a stick of butter. I’m just an impulsive idiot and y’all should be thankful and grateful I don’t post EVERYTHING going thru my mind because I have to weigh if it’s better for Tumblr or Twitter HSKDFHSKJF. But I’m very Not Smart.

21) Do you love easily?

I have a stuffed animal right next to me that I’ve had since I was 5 so I’d say so !! Cheer Bear has. Seen A Lot.

22) List the top five things you spend the most time doing, in order.

OOO okay... Sleeping, watching YouTube videos/movies/TV, playing Revue Starlight or other games but that’s about tied with YT/movies/TV, listening to music/podcasts, and writing a podcast script!
