something something, old conversation about copying/inspiration

i'll be completely honest & probably already posted something like this before.

when I first started the simblr thing chisimi's muto & kiesa were like the main inspo for matt & indee.

& their baby luc was the main catalyst for kai and every other kid I made for my sims. like I even did a poorly personal converted hair just to have a slight resemblance.

(this isn't the hair at least I don't think it is)

not so much for looks for indee but for matt, yes. his tattoos/placements were heavily inspired by muto.

chisimi blog is gone but their rp blog is still up

and when that mommy blogger trend for s3 simblrs was blowing up I even made one for matt & indee.

(didn't stick to it of course🙄)

anyway idk I was reminded of those characters and thought about mines and how they kinda are different now.

(ie I gave them a smidge of personality)

thinking back and seeing my old s3 stuff I think it was very obvious that I was kinda copying but nobody said anything🥴

Finally finished Gia’s house and moved her and her little fam to WIndenburg! They live on the Crumbling Isle near the lake they can’t swim in.

Gianna (Gia) is an aspiring mommy blogger/influencer originally from Tartosa. She met her husband Harrison while she was an exchange student in his hometown of Newcrest. He’s a loyal sim and a general practitioner at Windenburg General.

Carter is an active little sim and an avid voidcritter collector. Baby Blake is summery and she’s giving me major barbicore vibes so expect lots of pink...

JAKK are our original characters (from @lea-heartscxiv and me) made several years ago, but we never got to share much information about them. JAKK consists of Jack Santos, Aris Angelopoulos, Kyle Ishikawa and Kyla Ishikawa as the main characters, and their family as supporting characters, all living in Sulani (In real life in an unspecified place in Okinawa Island). As a brief summary the three are college students who care for and raise Kyla in a house, all four living together as Kyle and Kyla's mother, Xiomara, is the mayor of Sulani and has less time than she would like to share with her children. The information is being added little by little in our Blogger, so when it's more complete it will be reported here so that whoever is interested can read it. Xiomara is a very strong person who has had to overcome one of the biggest obstacles in her life, the death of her husband a few months after Kyla was born. She's the mayor of Sulani (In real life in an unspecified place in Okinawa Island), and although she sacrifices many things in order to give her children the life she wants, she's also aware that life is ephemeral and tries to spend as much time as possible with her children even if it' i's necessary to take them to work or drop everything if either of them needs her.

Boys ~May 6, 2017~

My English is not that good so bear with me. First let me address the date I know today is the 11th but the play date was on the 6th so deal with it. I don’t usually post on this blog but Cari insisted I do just like she insisted I chaperone the play date. But despite my total lack of play date knowledge the boys and I had a good time on this play date or “Boys Day Out” as I would prefer to call it. Mika spent the day showing Zachary his favorite places to go and things to see in Tokyo (which are only like two things?) First he took Zachary to see the Cherry Blossoms because he loves the pretty pink color they are and because when ever his mother see’s them she gets really happy so that makes him happy and that must mean Cherry Blossoms are a happy flower (His exact words). Then Mikaela took Zachary to Starbucks because they have “The best muffins and apple juice in the world” I on the other hand beg to differ but I kept my opinions to my self (Last time I disagreed with him about this he spent a whole hour telling me about how wrong I was and how I needed to “get a grip”?). Mikaela had his usual Blueberry Yogurt Muffin and Zachary was introduced to the Apple Cinnamon Muffin which I’m certain the boy just inhaled I’ve never seen food go so fast other than when Cari is pregnant. I just had a black coffee  because I don’t eat Starbucks food. I’ve never seen Mika so attached to another child before Zachary is starting to become one of Mikaela’s closest friend I also believe Mikaela is so fond of Zachary because unlike other children besides the ones in his class he doesn’t have to speak in English when he’s around him. I want to Thank @clannad2 for allowing her son to spend time with our child and build the friendship they have. I have to say your son is very funny he saw me taking pics of him and Mikaela and said “me and you photo too!”  Also I tried to to take the photos nice as possible since I used to be a photographer but as you tell I’m a bit rusty since I don’t really have to to do photography anymore.

Everyone's always talking about the dumpster fire that is Daniel and Mary Sue's wedding, so let's talk about the other Pleasant sibling this time. What do you think Jeniffer and John's wedding's like?

their bios are a fucking disaster, jennifer is clearly a career oriented city person who wanted 1 kid max and gave that up to be like ‘a fashionable mommy blogger’ but is not satisfied at all and then u have fucking john, a family sim whose entire bio is about gardening, i mean ffs could they be more incompatible

they seem like they have years of resentment built up and they snipe at each other constantly/make like passive aggressive ‘jokes’ at each other’s expense. ig if i played the premades (which i legit never have, the only gameplay ive ever done in this game is the unions lol) i’d def get them divorced pronto and get jen with malcolm landgraab and john with florence delarosa

This is Isla Pearson, she is a young adult who just moved to Willow Creek. She comes from Appaloosa Plains where her parents her highly respected horse veterinarians. They were loving parents, but they decided to only have one child. Isla grew up as an only child taking comfort with cooking. She learned she had a knack for cooking, but her parents wanted her to become a vet. She decided to go to med school but dropped out after one semester and went to start her life in Willow Creek. She wants to be a chef but also wants the big family she never had. She hopes to have as many children as she can and fill her life with bundles upon bundles of joy.

Det. Bella Vega is the first black latina head detective in the San Myshuno Narcotics Unit. She is highly decorated and has been with the department for eleven years. Bella comes from a long family line of cops. Of being a police officer, she says she is most proud when she can get criminals off the streets.

Mia Moss is the owner of a successful boutique in Magnolia Promenade. Her beautiful daughter, Natalie loves to accompany mommy to work!

L.A Chick ~April 26, 2017~

These are just some of the pics from my birthday trip to Los Angeles. Even though it was just two days I have never had so much fun in my life. The two days I spent with my baby daddy husband were jammed with so many trips to shopping districts, famous places, and I swear I saw a few famous people as well. Americans are so friendly and public compared to people from the Islands and Japan (A little too friendly, guys kept on hitting on me while I was WITH my husband). I brought so much stuff and it wasn’t even for me I brought toys and clothes for my little ones and I bought a watch and also matching glass for me and my mans. I’m glad the trip was only two day though because I was missing my children so much I FaceTimed them every chance I got. My first impression of America was great and next time I get to come I hope I get to bring the kids with me!

IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! ~April 21st, 2017~

It’s finally my birthday and I’m officially 24 years old! Not only is it my birthday but my sweet husband took me to L.A. I’m so excited because I’ve never been to America before! We’re gonna be here for two days but honesty I don’t think my heart can handle being away from my babies that long but all in all I’m really grateful to my husband for bringing me here.

Hello Spring! (Ramblings) April 7,2017

Things are getting even busier in the Hikita household with the triplets now reaching their third month and Mikaela starting school or in other words pre-k next week I barely have time to post. So I just gathered a bunch of photos I took a while back and put them together for this post. But not only am I busy with that I’ve also started spring cleaning because we decided to redecorate the house! We are in love with our patio/backyard which is why we spend most of our time outside but we wanna love the inside as much as the out so we gotta change it up. Sorry if it sounds like I’m rambling in this post but it’s 12am over here and I’m running on coffee and udon (it’s past my bedtime). I also wanna say I’m finally back to my pre baby weight I’m so happy too. I’ll make a post all about that when I have time to post again I’ve also been using this face wash that really does wonders so I’ll include that too. Before I end this post I’d like to say I’m really excited to see the cherry blossoms bloom it’s all me and Mika have been talking about!

Organic Mama ~March 24, 2017~

I’m continuing to break out of my shell more and stop being such a scaredy-cat when it comes to talking to people on here. So far it’s been wonderful. I’ve been meeting a lot of new people two of which I’ve been able to have play dates with. This week I got together with Alana over at @greyandco​ for a lazy “play date” . I decided to get together with her because 1.) She’s an Organic mama and i’m starting to look into going organic myself. & 2) She’s a soon to be mother of triplets! So I thought we could share advice since I have triplets of my own too. Anyways on this lazy play date of ours we decided to make some recipes for smoothies I got online from @togetherstore​ and I had Alana bring over some of her fruits and veggies for ingredients. I chose this specific recipe because  I thought It would be an easy way to get a taste of some organic food and also trick the kids into trying some. Me and  John had been talking and he really wants the kids to start eating more healthier. It’s not that we’re feeding them junk it’s that John is vegetarian and is trying to transition over to becoming a organic vegetarian and would love for the rest of the family to join him. I really didn’t want to but you should always try something once before you knock it.  I wasn’t a fan of the Green Monster BUT Mikaela LOVED it I was so shocked and surprised even Asami the pickiest eater I’ve ever seen seemed to not be able to get enough of the Melon Power up. We sent Mikaela Tallulah & Asami out into the yard to enjoy some sun and their drink and didn’t hear a peep from them…not once! Me and Alana set poolside dipping our toes in the water. Alana settled on the Strawberry Shortcake smoothie while getting a laugh at me trying to drink my Mango Magic while breastfeeding Saskia at the same time. Speaking of breastfeeding that’s mostly what I did the entire time during the play date. The rest of the “play date” consisted of Mika going to the grocery store with his dad. Asami and Tallulah playing little baby games and Alana and I joking around. We didn’t do much do to the fact that Alana is very pregnant and I wanted her to be comfortable. Also I constantly had a baby on my boob.

PS. If you guys know of any mom chats that are still accepting people let me know. I was too shy to join any when they first came about but now I think i’m ready lol.
