Hi everyone..! It's been a while, I know. The last several months have been crazy. The holidays, parties, seeing friends, life in general. In 2020 I'll try my best to update here more! With that being said, Happy New Year! I hope everyone had the best holidays, I know I did. The new year has already been crazy so far.. which brings me to next point, I gave birth! Friday, January 10th to be exact, around 11AM my sweet baby boy Chandler was born. I really wanted to document more throughout my pregnancy, but let me just tell you, the last few months of pregnancy combined with life in general, it gets rough.
Chandler is the most precious baby boy. Delivery went so smooth this time and he's happy and healthy, as am I. Aster was so excited to meet her baby brother, I already know she's going to be the best big sister.
All in all, 2020 has been the best year I could've asked for so far. I love my little family so much and I can't wait to document more adventures on here. Till next time.

👋We’re alive, and well! I’m here with a Long update.
Wow, it’s been so long since I’ve been on here, I’m not even sure where to begin. I wish I could give you guys a good excuse as to why I haven’t blogged in almost a year but honestly, I don’t have one. I deleted most of my social media accounts a few months back, including my youtube, I think it all became a little too much to keep up. I originally planned to only take a few months off but then life got busy, really busy. Having five children isn’t easy lol, I’m tired most of the time and honestly keeping up with my youtube channel and this blog was the last thing on my mind. Then out of nowhere over this past weekend, I got a sudden burst of motivation, it could be the new camera Malik surprised me with lol but, I’m back, at least for now. I wish I could come back with some huge news but not much has changed, we’re still living in the same house, I’ll give you guys an update of the house tour once our new renovations are done. The last year hasn’t been all peaches and cream but we’re all alive and healthy so there isn’t much to complain about.
So over the weekend, I decided to test out my new camera, and it’s amazing. My mother has a beautiful lemon tree in her backyard and I’m always looking for excuses to pick some so I decided to bake my favorite cake, I’ll have the recipe up on my new youtube channel soon. It’s not too cold here yet so we spent most of the day outside in our backyard, I took the time to get a few shots, I’ll share them below.
I’ve always wanted a garden shed, even though I kind of half-step when it comes to gardening lol, I still think they’re really cute so over the summer I begged Malik to set one up, it’s so cute. I’m hoping it will inspire me to be more consistent with my gardening.
I also took some shots of all of the kiddos so you guys can see how big they’ve gotten.
Nyla, my first baby girl. She and her brother will be 9 in less than 2 weeks, NINE. I’m trying not to think about it too much because it makes me emotional. She’s in the 4th grade now, lately, she’s been into swimming, dancing, fortnite and of course youtube. She is extremely helpful when it comes to her younger siblings and is honestly one of the sweetest kids you will ever meet.
Rian, my quiet child. Shy and reserved like his father, I can’t believe he’ll be 9 soon, he’s still so small lol. He’s heavy into basketball, space( dying to go to space camp) of course fortnite and just about every video game. Super helpful and kind, just like his sister and he reminds me so much of his father.
Zyire, my messy wild child. This is the kid you HAVE to watch lol he will try any and everything. He’ll be 6 in February, its crazy. He loves exploring, learning new things, he will “why” you to death about everything. He’s still into dinosaurs, loves sports, video games, and he’s really into school, he’s the only one I don’t have to force out of bed in the morning. He’s very outgoing and kind.
Leilani, My funny girly girl. She turned four last month, we celebrated by taking her to Disneyland, she loved it. This is daddies little girl, can’t tell her anything about him. She’s a self-proclaimed princess lol, really big on playing dress up, running her pretend restaurant and watching youtube. She started pre-K this year and seems to enjoy it. She’s bossy but she’s a sweetheart.
And last but not least the baby of the crew, baby Jojo. Josiah is my little shadow, never lets me out of his sight for too long. He’s turning two in December, I’m not too sure what we’re going to do, I’m not even mentally prepared to deal. We’re currently working on potty training, he’s almost there. He’s super active, loves to talk, eat and get into just about everything. He’s super sweet and affectionate.
So that’s about it, sorry for the long post but I did miss you guys! I’ll be back soon enough with more updates.

Welcome back, Meghan, you are terribly inconsistent….
Anyway, hi!
I know it’s been QUITE a while since you’ve seen my and my children’s faces. We’ve grown!
We’re thriving, loving, living, and….quickly outgrowing this house I JUST bought, and I’ll explain more on that later, when I’m ready. A lot of changes are coming, quickly, unexpectedly, but all good!
Harrison, my dear, crazy, empathetic, heart-on-his-sleeve little boy, is growing quickly. Too quickly. He’s in first grade, now, and his little mind is blown every. Day. Every day. He comes home from school and rambles on about whatever he learned, and sometimes, I wish he’d keep it short! Most days, though, I love listening to him telling me that he read an entire sentence ALL BY HIMSELF and he goes into great, great, detail about exactly how he did it.
He’s incredibly kind, loving, and this kid continues to crack me up every day. I love the little man he’s becoming.
Hazel is two years old now and I honestly can’t believe it.
She’s incredibly talkative, in her little toddler babble. She likes to tell me stories, she likes to yell at me too, when I’m not doing what she wants me to do. She’s very strong-willed, but she’s the sweetest little girl too. Harrison came home upset one day because someone told him he was a ginger (I told him to embrace this, gingers are the coolest) And Hazel went over to him and wrapped her little arms around his legs in a tiny toddler hug. She HATES seeing people upset, and has actually teared up when she sees someone in distress!
I’ve taken some time off from work, just to figure life out and decide where to go next. It’s been nice being able to stay home with Hazel and pick Harrison up from school. It’s gotten me thinking about moving out of the ER for a while, just while the kids are young, so I can have a more regular schedule.
Anyway, just a quick update on my crazy life. Exciting news coming soon!

third trimester / 28 weeks pregnant
How am I now in my third trimester? As well as nearing the final 10 weeks of my pregnant and then I’ll have a baby its crazy to me that soon she’ll be here in our arms. She’s sure as hell outgrowing her lil home in my tum right now, so much so that my skin itching I mentioned in my last post as kept coming and going. My bump, boobs and my hips are all constantly itchy. I’ve been using a lot of coconut based produce on my skin (particularly cocoa butter), it’s really working wonders.
Nick, baby girl & I got to go away on a lovely family thanksgiving break to aspen. Hence the surroundings in the photos above look a little out of the normal for me. Mona hosted the most lovely break there. We were joined by Mona, Pierce and the boys of course. As well as Ellie and Adam, Shyand her family. It was the most beautiful time, Mona and Shy definitely cleaned out the lodge of the wine lmao.
what am I looking forward to? Enjoying my maternity break, I’m also going to get started on my holiday shopping, some presents and some decorations! As well as I mentioned last post, our 4D scan! My app is telling me she will have all her distinguishing features so I am excited to see if she looks like her old man or me more!
I know I had mentioned I have a lot more to share with you all and that’s still true! I’ve got to share Nick & I’s marriage story. I didn’t mention what I had to share in my last post, but if you follow me on twitter then you know! Nick and I eloped! I’ll tell you all about it soon. I hope all your thanksgiving celebrations were amazing, filled with love and spent with those you love the most! And if you participated in black friday I hope you shopped safe.. I stuck to the online aspect of black friday!
until next time. XO

Welcome to my little corner of the internet! My name’s Jordan Davenport and very recently my husband Allen and I were able to welcome the most amazing child into our homes and hearts. After about a three and a half year adoption process, Wesley Davenport has finally become our son and I could not be more thrilled. I decided that I wanted to share our journey as a new family!
I would absolutely love to find some friends and learn some parenting tips from all of you other great mumblrs out there so feel free to strike up a chat any time! I can’t promise I will be active everyday, but I will try to at least be active once a week minimum!
Just a little bit about us under the cut!
I’m 26 and my husband is 28, we’ve been married for about 5 years now though we have known each other far longer. We were set up by a couple of friends, though we didn’t quite hit it off right away. That’s a pretty long story, but feel free to ask! My husband is a firefighter and one of the bravest and dorkiest men I have ever met while I am a lifeguard and a huge dork as well. We decided to opt for adoption when we found out that it would be incredibly difficult for me to get pregnant. Knowing we probably wouldn’t have any children of our own was a huge blow but we refused to give up hope. Wesley is everything we could have asked for and more, a sweet darling little boy who we loved from the very start.

MILO’S BIRTH STORY
I really wanted to write about this.
I had been feeling contractions for about a week before, and had 5cm dilation since the Sunday before. I knew he was coming soon but didn’t know when, because these kind of symptoms can begin way before labour actively starts. It was dinner time (around 6pm) on the 7th when my contractions started getting more intense, and I felt something was happening. I called the midwife to give her a heads up, then took a bath and went to lie down and try to get some rest.
When it was about 1am I was woken up by strong contractions much less far apart then the ones I had been having the whole past week, and I knew it was time. I started timing my contractions and preparing myself for the moment. Around 3am I called Lila (the midwife) and woke up Tobias. While I walked around ease the process, he inflated and filled the tub with warm water. Lila arrived about an hour later and we started the breathing exercises and when I felt ready I got into the tub.
Milo took his sweet time, for sure. Tobias was by my side at all times, we just talked and laughed and he soothed me while we were waiting for our littlest one. Tob and Lila took turns snapping some pictures so we could document the moment. As time passed the contractions got stronger and stronger, and then I actively started pushing. It was time.
Everything felt so light and natural. I knew what I had to do and when, I was so aware of my own body’s movements and all my senses felt heightened. What a rush! My midwife Lila’s guidance throughout the whole process helped make things so much easier.
Milo Kai Hansen came at around 7:15 am on the 8th of August, a chubby red haired little thing weighing 9lb and measuring about 21 inches. Getting him out and holding him in my arms was so exhilarating, it’s the best feeling ever. Tobias cut the cord and went to clean him up and cuddle him while Lila helped me push out the placenta and get out of the tub.
This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life (seriously, having a baby in your own living room? Amazing.) and for those of you considering a home birth, I’d highly recommend it. I felt relaxed, safe and comfortable. Truly incredible! And now I have my beautiful ginger boy to snuggle!

So, we have been a little MIA for the past two weeks. The reason being that I have been struggling a bit with my depression and loss of my mother. The fact that my children won’t ever know my parents has begun to take a toll on me and it worries me. I may never know things about my family history that they want to know. Coming to terms with this has been hard, but I have been managing with the help of Aleron.
How far along? 18 weeks and 1 day How big are the babies? The size of a sweet potato! Baby B is a bit smaller though, they are more the size of an average 16 week old which is the size of a pickle. Total weight gain/loss? Since the last time I weighed myself I lost about 3lbs. Maternity clothes? When I wear my own clothes, yes. I mainly stick to wearing dresses and Aleron’s t-shirts. Sleep? My sleeping schedule has leveled out. I get about 8 hours a night and sometimes I take a nap during the day. Best moment this week? Feeling the babies move for certain Symptoms? I am eating a LOT more, I get vertigo from time to time which is annoying, and I don’t know if this is a symptom but it seems that I am getting more and more forgetful. Stretch marks? Sadly Food cravings? I eat pretty much anything and everything that is in sight, except for meat. Food aversions? Meat, mainly red meat though. Gender? We are finding out on tomorrow, 5-10-18! Gender prediction? I have begun to lean more towards two girls just based on how most of my family’s pregnancies have gone. Movement? I have been feeling little flutters and rolling Labor signs? No, thank God Belly button in or out? In, but I have a feeling not for much longer. What I miss? I really miss being able to do stuff for myself. Due to my high risk pregnancy I have to rely heavily on Aleron and his family to help me with everyday things. His mom and or sister typically spend the day with me while he is at work. What I'm looking forward to? Finding out the genders of our little ones! Happy or Moody most of the time? Lately it has just been one mood, and that’s been sad or lonely, but it lessens when Aleron gets home.

We moved! That’s the main reason I’ve been MIA lately. Oliver opened a new location of his bakery in Plum Grove, so we decided to relocate there. With moving, Indigo getting really sick for while, and me getting a new job, I’ve had a lot on my plate lately. Hopefully you guys can forgive me.
Part 1 of the new house photos. The rest will come in the next couple of days. I put a lot of hard work into making it look like home, so hopefully you guys like it.
Love,

Trips and growing fast ♥
Hey, Guys! It has been quite a while since I have sat down and really wrote out a good post. I decided since a good amount of stuff has happened in our little family that it was necessary.
2018 started off great, My fiance spent his last few days before his tour with us. Rollerskating with the big kids and rolling around in the snow. I swear, the snow in Colorado gets deeper and deeper each year and I'm always so terrified to let my precious babies play out there. Jo is pretty quick with any potential slip ups. We learned some new recipes and cooked the most gourmet things I could, The Hawaiian pizza was a household favorite. Of course, all fun things must come to an end and we all waved goodbye to "Daddy".
We celebrated two birthdays after Jonas left. My Oldest Babies turned 11 and 8! I can not believe that my beautiful little ones are already this big! You never realize how much time has passed until you wake up and see your ,once little, baby isn't so little anymore. I remember when these two first showed up on our doorstep, Francis was only 5. I knew, as soon as, I saw these gorgeous kids that I was going to love them unconditionally forever and boy, was I right!
My little princesses are , now, 5 months! 5 whole months! I still remember when they were first born, tiny, soft, and steady. Lodi is still a little drama queen and cries at the flick of a switch. Wren is still clingy and never wants to be put down, My arms are so tired. I'm still a little angry as the last time we saw my little ones, they had full heads of hair. ALL OF IT FELL OUT! All of it! My babies were balder than when they were first born and I ran to the doctor's office, as soon as, I started to notice the hair loss. They are completely fine, it was just an allergic reaction to a new soap powder I started using. I'm still so mad, I had their hair in little pigtails and everything.
It's fine, as my little family is still going strong. Jonas should be coming home in a few weeks and I just can't wait to snuggle with my man again.
Keep Dreaming!

Happy 1st Birthday To My Gingersnap 🧡
Hazelynn Amelia Castillo, a year ago you came into this world and you were the best possible thing that could have happened to me. You are sweet, sassy, and such an independent little princess. Your laugh brings a smile to my face even on the darkest of days. I’d be lost without you. You’re so so big and I love you more than you will ever know.
Now that I’m all teary eyed, I want to thank everyone who came out to Hazel’s petting zoo party! Hazel’s two best friends Atlas and Aster came. You can find more of Aster over at @hartinhands!
She had a great time opening her gifts, smashing into her cake, and she honestly had the best time playing with all the balloons.
One successful birthday down, several more to go, but thankfully not for another year!
Til next time,

Hi everyone! How are you all? I can’t believe it’s almost February! January flew by! I’m so good, Chandler is good, the whole family is good honestly. I’ve been coming up with ideas as to how I can spice up this blog a little bit, and so I can post more!
I also cannot believe Chandler is almost three weeks old! It feels like yesterday he was just born! I think he’s the happiest baby ever, or at least acts like he is. We’ve finally got a good routine down, going from a family of three to family of four was way harder than Topher and I expected, but so far everything is going smoothly.
I would’ve loved to have more than one photo to share, but the past couple of weeks have been busy, but there’s my baby boy! I promise photos of Aster will be shared soon, lol! But with all of that said, until next time guys!
