Worldbuilding - The Afterlife

Cats spirits can exist past death, if they want to continue. Cats who don't believe in an afterlife, or that choose to not continue as a ghost, will fade away shortly after they die.

Cats who follow the warrior code and believe that StarClan awaits them will remain until they decide to move on. They are drawn towards Focal Points, regardless if they knew where one was in life, and can make their way to StarClan's hunting grounds from there. It's rare, but sometimes a recently deceased member of a fledgling clan can guide their leader and medics to an undiscovered Focal Point.

Cats can also reject going through the Focal Point. If they choose to continue, they become like a normal non-StarClan spirit. Normal spirits are usually unable to move on until their unfinished business is concluded, they overcome a personal challenge, or they find peace.

Spirits can harm each other, but cannot die again from these sorts of injuries. They may dissipate for a short time, but will always reappear if they want to.

Spirits can become lost. Do not become lost.

Wow it’s been a while. So! If you haven’t seen my pinned post, I’m gonna be turning this into a general clan gen blog instead of just an Aspenclan one. I’ll still occasionally post content for them, but also fan art, reblog other clangen stuff, and also create new clans and stories here too!

Just to post about clangen whenever the urge strikes again and then leaves again XD

With that said. Here’s some new guys :3

My little babies. Silverrunner and her mate Frostquiver. Both young survivors of their previous clans description, Silverrunner was blessed with the ability to see starclan cats even when awake (goosefeather style) and was lead to their new home. When they arrived she was granted nine lives and the name Silverstar.

Now there, they grieve their losses and start a new clan, Silverclan. Hope to post more about them soon :)

Silverclans camp appears small and undefended, only a few dens gathered around in a small forest hollow. However, the real bulk of Silverclans village is contained inside the massive tree that grows in the center of the camp, known to the cats that live within as the Skytree for how it towers over all the others.

Nigh indestructible, the ancient tree contains a mysterious arena at the base that was already there before the clan cats came and made it their home...

TWST X Warrior cats

In Thornclan apprentices used to become warriors when they gain their unique magic. Their names reflecting their unique ability. This used to mean that cats could be 16 moons or older and still be apprentice but that changed during the age of Hollystar (Maleanor). When they needed as many warriors as possible to fight against Silverclan.

Now, apprentices become warriors at 12 moons old like the other clans but it’s not uncommon to have their names changed when they get their unique magic later in life.

Not many of his clan mates like to go out patrolling or hunting with him because of his pelt color. Since Clan born cats have a dark colored pelts he stands out a lot.

This is my little cat-posting spot. Since cringe culture is dead let me post Pixelcat content. On evrey day bases I'm just some fennec drawing on the internet. I've never read warriors book's. Just started seanc ClanGen is holding my heart and mind hostage. My first language is Not English and i have pretty bad dyslexia so plise bear with me. The Fall of Flintkit |Moon 0|

Ever since you were a little kit, you've had these visions of dark spirits, telling you about the corruption inside of your Clan. They have told you that StarClan is using your clanmates, and that you cannot trust anyone inside of your Clan, not even your siblings.

"Flintkit! Honey?" Her mother mews, as a dark gray kit with amber eyes stares out of the bracken nursery. "Blackpool?" Flintkit's shatteringly small voice calls out to her yellow-eyed mother mother. Oddkit declared in a mocking voice of Copperstar, "I thought so! Zoning out again! This won't be tolerated!" And flashed a charming grin at Rosekit, Sparkydusk's adopted kit, who giggled shyly. But Flintkit herself frowned.

Everycat has no idea but Silverclan was being used by Starclan! Everycat was in danger, no one was safe! The spirit who Flinty- as she called herself, was watching before she was rudely thrown back into real life, mumbled to herself "Helpful-Almost ready- must tell..." Then Flintkit notices that Blackpool was still talking to her. "-almost time to take a nap, tomorrow your apprentices!" The yellow and black spirit shrieked at Flinty,

"NO!" 

Flinty jumped back but then the spirit wrapped herself around Flintkit and coaxed her to her nest. As Flintkit sat staring at the wall of bracken before regretfully falling asleep. 

In her dream Flintkit was near the camp, following a prey scent with Oddkit. When the spirit came out of the ground, Flintkit jumped back startled and then held herself strong. But Oddkit screamed and fluffed his fur up. He whacked himself saying “Wake up!”, but he still stood next to Flintkit. The spirit sat up tall and said “Hello Blackpool’s kits, I am Hollowwisper. But you may call me Halo” Oddkit did NOT like this. He screeched “DARK FOREST CAT! DARK FOR-” But he was cut off as the spirit cuffed his mouth with her tail. Halo menacingly grew and said "What are you doing here!? Apprentice of the mange-ridden starclan!?” She swiped at him, claws unsheathed and  then he poofed into smoke. Flinty drew aback. “I-is he g-gonna be ok?” Halo grinned, “of course, just awake. But you, my dear, must know Starclan is corrupting your clan, right?” Flinty puffed up and murmured “Yes. I’ve seen evidence of it!” Halo grinned and said “Become a medicine cat young apprentice, it's the only way to stop them…” And she faded away. Flinty stood in silence for a short while but then woke up.

Worldbuilding - StarClan

It is difficult for the living to reach out to StarClan on their own. Cats who have a strong tie to StarClan, or have previously contacted them through a focal point, have much more success reaching out without being at these places.

A focal point is any place where the stars can reach the living more easily. In canon this would be the Moonstone and the Moonpool. Clans keep the location of their focal point a secret and rarely share them with other clans. A clan cannot survive for long without one, as cats who can reach out to the stars without a focal point are few and far between. Rarely a cat may become a medic or be able to become a leader of a new clan because of that ability, but there is very little chance their successor can.

SilverClan has no focal point yet. Dancingstar dreamed of meeting StarClan, and Yellowspot’s original clan did not have one (which is one of the reasons it disbanded). Bouncefeather is able to contact StarClan without a focal point as his original clan had one that he visited many times.

What if I called nonbinary cats "charlies"?? Like the nb equivalent of toms and mollies, since it sounds kinda old-timey and is also gender neutral.

I just want to have words specific for the nonbinary characters, instead of saying "cat" that way its clear that they aren't male or female, and not that im just being non-specific.
