On Cybertron, during the war, Flips and her friends and gf (at the time) made a promise to never get involved with the war. They’d hangout in secret; drinking energon, play games like truth or dare. Crazy shenanigans. But things got worse in the war.. one by one the group became more and more separate; arguing and questioning which side was truly right. Some joined Autobots and some joined Decepticons. To top it all off, Flips’s gf soon got involved; joining the autobots.. she insists that Flips come with her, but Flips refused still keeping the promise to never get involved with the war. Even if it’s a dead promise.

Despite how tragic her backstory, how she came to earth is quite silly. Time has passed. Flips has tried to thrive and survive on her own. One day, Flips got drunk on energon ending up on the ark.. somehow the autobots didn’t noticed her and eventually sneaked out.

Now time skip again. Flips was minding her own business as a food truck and the seekers, starscream, Thundercracker, and skywarp assumed her as an autobot. At the time she wasn’t much a fighter so of course she got kidnapped easily. Now meeting Megatron..after cooking and working with the staff, and growing to trust them, (especially Megatron.) she eventually makes her choice to join the Decepticons. Besides Megatron, Soundwave and strain is the one me she’s chill with. She tolerates Thundercracker and warp, but Starscream just can’t stand

well don't get too excited, I still haven't seen 8.5 seasons of it. I don't know why, because I ADORED season 1 and the balance of humor and angst is exactly my thing - I was mumbling about it to myself last night when I got up to make tea - I love Ted Lasso because I love the characters but especially because it has my most favorite thing in media ever: emotional gut punches sandwiched in between shenanigans. sometimes those shenanigans are two sentences apart. you're crying and laughing at the same time. you're human and a little creature at the same time. you're ready to think about this and to dismiss it in a joke at the same time.

SG-1, Ted Lasso, The Umbrella Academy, actually, and of course M*A*S*H, my most favorite show of all time all contain this type of storytelling. they're not afraid to be funny, to be serious, to be silly, to be depressing, to be joyful, to be angry, and sometimes to be all of those things in the space of one scene.

dad and I started to watch the show together and never continued, but I am going to continue. I am going to watch all of SG-1 because I think if I had a little more Daniel Jackson in my life I would feel better.

This message has been in my inbox for a long time now, and it took SO LONG to answer because 1) I was off Tumblr for a while and mostly 2) this message genuinely moved me to tears and I didn't quite know how to handle it.

Thank you so much! Thank you so much for this sweet message! I'm so touched because this is very close to how I feel about Something Good and MHA. I'm still in the fandom, but I'm not as involved as I was a few years back. I wrote the SG premice back in 2018. Every month, it gets further and further away from canon as the story progresses, but DAMN, I'm still determined to finish it and share this silly little story with everyone who is still interested in reading it.

You're right! They're just The Gang to me too. This is one of the reasons that it's taking me longer and longer to update. On the one hand, I consider them to be Original Characters at this point, and it makes the experience a lot more fun in many ways. But on the other hand, I'm still aware that people are reading the fic to read about their favourite characters, the characters from MHA, and I will occasionally get super worried about the fic being way too different and way too OOC for anyone to truly enjoy it, and so I will stress and won't write for months.

So it's actually REALLY lovely and moving to know that some people feel the same way and don't mind it!!! It's really cool to know that you can still enjoy this story with them as "The Gang" doing their own things in a universe that vaguely resembles the one from the manga.

I try to see it as the best of both worlds. It's MHA but also its own thing! It's the LOV but also The Gang! (And as a side note, I want it out and public that you are more than welcome to expend on the SG universe if that's something you'd like to do! Art, fics, headcanons, shit pots, go wild!)

And of course, as I keep saying, this was always a Take One Me propaganda first and shigadabi fic second ;)

To "not inconvenience" anyone, they usually communicate with ASL and have another member translate. But they talk openly at home !

Bubbly and sweet personality despite everything, they love to perform and make people feel good. They love the rest of the members a lot and they show it often!

Hello Tumblr!

It's @nameless-writer-for-stories here, remember me? Dang, it's been like 5 years since I went on hiatus. My life had been nuts and still is now.

I would like to apologize to those who followed me (through these users: @nameless-writer-for-stories @rwby-dust) for the radio silence and long overdue hiatus. I did not mean to leave you all in the dark without explanations.

My previous years of Tumblr wasn't that bad, the issue was me. To be honest, I literally had no clue what I was doing despite my imaginations and urge to show my creativeness. Let's just say growing up into a full adult is a literal rollercoaster for me so I wasn't really myself at that time. There were times I tend to feel doubt in my writing and art, and experienced inferiority complex--which was definitely not good so I had to leave the social media to clear my head.

I resumed to practicing my drawing skills before I entered college in 2019. Around that time, I was late to join Arknights, a tower-defense game that was released in early January. And boy, it was the best game for me. Because of its art and lore, I got inspired to come back for creating art. I was not confident if I can make a return in Tumblr so, I decided to try Twitter with a fresh start and didn't bother posting my Tumblr works because of my insecurities. My first experience there was awkward and barely gained any followers so I was doubting myself again.

However, I stopped doubting and started thinking, "the only reason you didn't have anything is because you're not pushing to try more." Later on, I tried posting new art contents like mini comics and some of my favourite Arknights characters. It was slow progress and I only had 76 followers. Honestly, it was okay for me since it means I needed to improve more--until I got roped into League of Legends because of Starguardians2022. Not gonna lie, I was attracted to that because of the potential angst material (I'm crazy lol), especially Akali. There's just something about her that I can relate in a deeper level and I fell in love with her prime lore and SG lore.

So, I started drawing Lol content and also tried playing the game. Several days later, I finally got 100 followers! I was really happy and decided to keep it up. I'm still drawing Arknights content whenever I feel like it, and I'm planning to make a fan Star Guardian story with a little twist.

Just when I started to make more posts, the Elon Musk incident happened. I won't explain the details because I know that everyone has seen the news. Everyone in Twitter began talking about moving into different social medias but honestly, it's hard to leave Twitter behind because everyone was comfortable in speaking their thoughts and sharing things that they couldn't be able to share in real life, and I feel that way too. I came back to Tumblr with a good reason--that is to keep going. Sure, it's sad that Twitter is doomed to close but if it weren't for that site, I would have not be able to meet people who shows confidence in showing their artworks, and fan literature. Whether they're silly drawings or shenanigans, they are truly dedicated and passionate in their works. They inspired me to keep trying and show the best of what I can do.

Until Twitter does shut itself down, I will bring everything from that site to here. So, yeah---

I got tagged by @fuukonomiko and @catachan-jungle-fighter so here you go? I’m not doing Warhammer 40k bc... I have two 40k RP blogs and I keep talking about all the dudes and dudettes I like, so that really wouldn’t add anything new to the conversation!

1. Wedge Antilles -  Star Wars (Expanded Universe/Legends)

I’m going with the EU/Legends version bc that’s the one I like! He was my intro to the weird, wild, wacky Star Wars EU and he’s got like... one and a half book series about him. He was my first introduction to the “stern but fair, and willing to bend the rules” commander archetype. He left his command post to go fight a guerilla war against a tyrant the newly inaugurated New Republic wouldn’t. He founded a special ops pilot squad bc it was a niche official command wouldn’t fill. He willingly plays the straight man and fall guy so that his people can get shit done. At one point during a diplomatic mission he abandons it because he doesn’t want to be diplomatic with the horrible government he’s negotiating with, and leads the rival governments in a planetary civil war. He’s very very moral and I still stan even though all of his adventures are now non-canon.

2. Terezi Pyrope - Homestuck

LOV3 TH1S B1TCH >:] Narrow fav out of all my fav Homestuck characters. I love her character and the conflicts she’s been through. She’s also a very moral character, although sometimes her morals are questionable by human standards. She’s silly and funny and can also be very serious and she gets shit done.

3. Ticker - Warframe

Bet you didn’t know Warframe had NPCs lol. I love, love LOVE Ticker. She’s trans(!!) and she’s one of the few NPCs who treats the PC with empathy and respect. While the other NPCs basically treat the PC like a tool/partner for their own purposes, Ticker really seems to care about the PC as a person. I don’t know if she knows the truth about the Tenno, but I think she’d be willing to talk to them about their problems. She also calls the PC “Stardust”, unlike everyone else who calls them something kinda derogatory? Her quotes are also really kind and fun. I love her ugh

4. Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing - Hellsing

LOVE THIS STONE COLD BITCH. She bears the title of “Sir” and insists on it. She runs an anti-vampire organization AND is one of the 12 ranking members of England’s leading council. She stands equal to one of the most powerful members of the Vatican and goes out to battle herself when she needs to, and she has the respect and loyalty of the most powerful vampire on the planet. And she willingly marches into a trap to find and shoot her Nazi nemesis in the face. #1 badass who takes no shit.

5. Europe, Duchess of Naimes - Monster Blood Tattoo Trilogy

This is a much more obscure character, but I will stan and try to insist everyone reads this trilogy because it’s so good. Europe is one of the secondary protagonists who’s a COMPLETE badass. Monster hunter and researcher, scion of one of the most powerful noble families in the setting who decided not to go into politics but follow her own interests instead. She sort of adopts the protagonist and stands by him even as the plot thickens, partly because of her own interests and partly because she’s actually fond of him. She helps him out, ostensibly because it’s in her interests but really bc she cares about him c’: Love me Tsundere Aunt characters.

6. Blue Diamond - Steven Universe

Picking a best character from Steven Universe was hard but in the end I picked her. I love her and the fact that she’s a hyper-empathetic, depressed tyrant who eventually through her depression and hyper-empathy realizes she’s wrong and she’s been treating her younger sister abusively. I really appreciate that she eventually stands up to her own depression and the role her mom/supreme tyrant forces on her and she’s willing to fight her sister and her mom about it. Powering up from depression is good.

7. Nozomi Tojo - Love Live!!

Big titty lesbian c: Who is also really good at “leading from behind” and through suggestion. She’s supportive, kind and motivational, and nudges all of her friends into better choices through suggestions and hints. She uses her spirituality in a very kind, non-invasive way to help, and she’s a good singer! She’s also one of the common sense people in her friend group.

8. Rei Ayanami -  Neon Genesis Evangelion

Rei is weird bc she starts out as a personality-less, quiet person and then she grows into her own, and tbh that’s what I love about her. How she rejects what her “father figure” tells her and grows to become her own person (even though it’s attached to another person :/ well that’s not really her fault). I love that she goes from perceiving herself as worthless and sacrificial, to making the willing choice to sacrifice herself, dying, having her soul zooped into another copy of her, and then making that choice AGAIN while the world is literally ending. Very motivational for depressed teen me.

9. Gog-Agog -  Kill Six Billion Demons

Hyper powerful ruler of the universe, and wacky clown! She’s a completely insane god full of shenanigans and naughty. She does exactly what I’d probably do if I had godhood, and that’s entertain herself and do stupid bullshit. She’s ofc a horrible villain, but I love her. I’m super looking forward to seeing WHY her official title is “the Great Devourer, Scourge of Worlds.” (READ KILL SIX BILLION DEMONS ITS FREE)

10. Col. Samantha Carter -  Stargate SG-1

One of my first(!!!) actually strong female characters. 10 seasons of being the female lead on Stargate, being the SMART ONE who regularly tells the dudes what to do. Obvs sometimes, especially in the first few seasons she was still “the girl” but her character grew past that, with rank promotions as well. She’s been with me so long that words aren’t necessarily enough, so I’m gonna just put this video here of her outshooting a dude as an exclamation mark.

3). Is there anything challenging about writing your muse?

At times, YES. With Minimus and Magnus the most, honestly, though recently I’ve been getting better at it. With Minimus, at times, I need to step back a moment a think, ‘would he say this? is this too mean? too much restraint? too little?’ — because he dances a very fine line between a people pleaser and a loud-mouthed rebel. It can be hard to pin-point what situation calls for which attitude.

And with Magnus, it’s on the flip side, because he has absolutely no restraint, to the point where it’s quite difficult to figure out just WHAT motivates him. For a long time, I barely had a grasp on his character because of this.

4). Is there anything enjoyable about writing your muse?

There’s SO much I love about all my silly, nasty little muses. For Minimus, I love how he goes at it with pet names, nicknames, and all that. How he likes nudging and pushing people’s buttons.

Magnus can be fun to write for the very reason he’s difficult for me — the lack of restraint. I’m getting on better terms with his character these days, I can can safely say — He’s fun to be chaotic with.

5). What has been your favorite thread?

I don’t quite have ONE favorite thread, but I have a few that I’m quite fond of. Early on, an SG Megatron and my Minimus had done a post-war plot where they both took on a political role in the new Cybertron, Minimus rising up to take a more active role in the politics of his House. Other threads that I’m fond of are definitely the shitpostery threads. I love the dashboard shenanigans. <3
