it isn’t until high school that you start drifting apart. yuuji is gifted at sports and you’re neck deep in college prep; you care for one another still, but you don’t have time to hang out. you’re both too busy and usually forego any get-togethers that your parents have.

the last time you see yuuji for many years is before you go to college. you attend separate schools: he gets a sports scholarship, you get an academic scholarship. you both have fond memories of one another, but things aren’t how they used to be.

it isn’t until after you graduate college and start the soul-sucking corporate grind that you see your childhood best friend again. you’re visiting your parents one weekend and a surprise guest shows up: yuuji.

the boy you once knew is now a man. he grew into his too-large feet, it seems: he’s tall and broad and undeniably strong. his skin looks sunkissed—did he always have those freckles across the bridge of his nose? and his eyes are rich and smooth, an overflowing spoonful of honey.

the smile that graces his lips is devastating when his gaze meets yours. you swear the butterflies in your stomach will lift you off of the floor. you wonder what you look like from his perspective. is he disappointed?

the hug that yuuji gives you is imbued with the love he has felt for as long as he can remember; it’s the love that scared him as a boy, the love he tried to shake in college, the love that he’s now determined to hold onto—if you’ll have him.

It's no secret that Dottore and his segments are quite possessive of you, getting jealous if you spend a bit too much time with others when it could be far better spent with them instead. This often leads to them biting and nipping you as punishment. However, what this accidentally led to was a sort of competition between the segments. One segment would leave you with his own marks, and then another would see said bites on your skin. No doubt that same sense of possessiveness would rise up again and now this segment would feel the need to leave even more bite marks on your skin. And it keeps going... and going... you don't know how to differentiate which segment left which mark, but it seems the segments do somehow, from their scoffs and mumbles before they bury their face in your neck. So basically, it's like a game of catch, you're the ball, and none of them are willing to be the loser.

ahem. pardon my french i got a little carried away! also a certain way goes so many ways here LOL i think for the most part he'd just be looking at you like you're a roach buzzing around gael. his master is a respectable and noble man and you're... you 🤨🤨🤨 unfortunately he can't let his face do all the talking because believe it or not, gael doesn't want his bodyguard to stare murderously at his guest.

the other way is the one that screams with conflict. again i really have to know what cécile thinks of his love for mc in relation to his love for gael because i have no doubt that even when you reach the end goal and become cécile's world, gael is still gonna mean so so much to him. at that point, would he sacrifice everything else for you? yes. but he knows the world includes gael too and it's a part of him nothing, and i mean nothing can heal. what im trying to say is; does cécile feel even more pained, looking at you when you're standing right next to his master only in name, now? can he stand to look honestly at gael when the bane of existence and the recipient of all his need makes things so fucking difficult? he has never been on gael's level, and for good reason.
