The absolute hilarious thing (not really) is that I genuinely think they tried to make it so we’d feel bad for Buck and be pissed at Tommy. But they screwed that up so badly by making Tommy incredibly likable and flawed and sad and lonely, and making Buck so he kinda worships Tommy and the ground he walks on without ever seeing beneath the “cool” exterior. So you’re left understanding Tommy’s reasoning a little bit (even through flawed writing) and you’re desperate to see how it impacts him.

Maybe it’s just how much Lou put into every single fucking scene he did throughout his run, maybe his little micro expressions and unscripted touches added to all of it, I don’t know. All I know is, I’ve seen Buck’s circle of emotions so many times, and I’m far more interested in seeing things through Tommy’s eyes, whether they ever got back together or not.

with everything that has happened in arcane today I want to take a second to appreciate all the new relationships and connections the show has established. It’s so great to see different characters interact that haven’t before, like Mel giving Caitlyn her condolences and talking to Jayce about her, Ambessa and Caitlyn interacting which has so much potential and the Heimerdinger-Ekko-Jayce-trio is great as well! Especially after the last season we were so used to characters only staying in their little bubble (Silco, Jinx, Sevika or Cait, Vi or Jayce,Viktor, Mel for example) but now that they are branching out we get to see so many cool and interesting interactions and I for one am loving it.

jaime: outright says “i rather liked renly”, said it was a pity he died, told a comforting lie to loras to help him in his grief, seems pretty okay about renly being gay

renly: bets against jaime in the tourney of the hand, tells ned stark not to trust any lannisters, makes kingslayer jokes during feasts

there's just... there is no reason to make yet another cop show in this day and age. copaganda is not only bullshit, it is a failure of imagination.

you want to watch brooding characters with dark pasts investigate crimes in an official capacity? just use private detectives (cops have a miserable solve rate anyway). want eccentric geniuses & their sidekicks solving mysteries? i present you with armchair detectives & neighborhood busybodies. oh, you're craving a workplace comedy-drama starring overworked protagonists doing their heartfelt best to resolve community conflicts? social worker office sitcom! bitch this is ACHIEVABLE

A doorway not quite shut

Some incident or another knocked Danny into another universe, specifically into the city of Gotham. Luckily, he managed to make a portal to the Ghost Zone to get back home without anyone really giving too much notice to him.

However, though his portal mostly worked perfectly, one key aspect of it failed.

It didn’t fully close.

Ectoplasm, previously sparse in this universe, starts to leak through.

Effects aren’t immediately apparent. But gradually, it starts to sink into everything. Changing it, empowering it.

The city’s ghosts become stronger, more tangible. Its living citizens, too, are more durable. Tech experiences inexplicable glitches. Food, left for too long, starts to come alive.

It eventually becomes impossible to ignore.

unsurprisingly i read a lot of comics and manhwa n shit but ill let you know now, if your female protagonist has brown/black eyes or brown hair I like it 50% more

I was thinking about the 5 year anniversary video and

it is interesting to me how Patton kind of decided for Logan what his role in the "family" would be. all the other sides chose it themselves, but he didn't get to.

even when he actively objects it's played for laughs and never addressed. this happened too when Patton revealed his name for him, and I just think it's interesting to note that after all these years, Logan still never gets to decide anything when it comes to Thomas, or even himself, to an extent. it's just kind of decided for him and he is expected to just go along with it, similar to how it was when Thomas dyed his hair.

ik it's mainly a "haha wine mom" moment, but that doesn't take away from how angsty it gets when you think about it.

Love it when a modern "progressive" show makes all the evildoers physically disabled.

Larys has a Clubfoot, Aemond gets his eye cut out, and now Aegon is burnt and missing appendages.

Isn't it convenient that we can immediately tell a person is bad because their body looks different?

And of course, we don't explore any discrimination against these characters because they're horrible, and we shouldn't feel bad for horrible people.

People were mean to Larys because of his Clubfoot? But don't you know he has a gross foot fetish?

Aemond has impaired vision? But his eyepatch looks cool, and he is still a good fighter, so what is he even complaining about?
