Cuz I'm getting real annoyed with every “Shadow's a bigger character then Amy so he need all the screen time therefore Amy shouldn't /can’t be in the movie” comments.

I'm with you folks. I don't know what any of you have gone through, but people have given other people shit for shipping Sonouge or Shadamy due to age differences and yet they're cool with Sonamy? I don't get it...

So I just saw a post from someone saying that Sonic movies 'don't need romance' and that they hope there isn't Sonamy in Sonic 4 because they, and I quote, 'don't want to see it'

I'm not even going into how saying something shouldn't be in media because they personally don't want it is a dumb take, I'm really sick of people acting like romance is something that automatically ruins things, or like romance is something that is being shoved down people's throats when actually romance is becoming more and more rare, especially in movies.

So let me just say this, and I say this as a hardcore Shadamy shipper

I hope Sonamy becomes canon in the Movie Universe, whether they go the classic route of Amy developing a crush on Sonic or if they flip things around and Sonic falls for her first, I really hope Sonamy is End Game. It's about time that after so much teasing and hints from SEGA and the stance of keeping it one-sided, and other Sonic media creating original characters to become Sonic's love interest while simultaneously pushing Amy to the background, Sonamy and Sonamy shippers deserve this, they deserve finally a version where they are properly canon, it's about time and the movies are perfect for that.

I like sonadow, and I don’t like sonamy or shadamy. I do not and will not fight with people who like those ships though!! I am just not someone who ships those ships, *and I don’t have to*. Recently fandom spaces have been so bizarre in the sense that they don’t understand ship and let ship, queer headcanons, and those things. Reader/ fics, cringe things, etc, are all NORMAL FANDOM BEHAVIOUR. I am sick of people not understanding fandom in the slightest.

I don’t bring it up in comments much, I don’t post about how much I HATE SONAMY or how ITS SO VILE AND OUT OF CHARACTER (which it’s not, it’s fine, just not my cup of tea) but people are behaving like this towards Sonadow and it’s frankly insane to see on TikTok. I hope that tumblr stays weird because fuck 😭 if people bring this culture to ao3 im going to lose it. There’s ofc people like this in every fandom, but as of late they’re outnumbering normal people in fandom (normal as in people that understand very basic etiquette) Anyways stay cringe and no hate to sonamy, sonadow, and multi shippers, you’re great stay you :)

Hopefully Amy and Rouge are in it… if not then I guess I’ll get started writing that fanfic ( I hope other will follow cuz there’s a series lack of movie Amy rose and movie sonamy content jeez🥲).
