i often am Mused by songs, like it’ll hit me when i hear a lyric or a particular note progression and feel ship feels then i’ll be like “i wish to capture the ESSENCE of white flag by dido in a hicsqueak fic”

aLSO really trashy romcoms like The Knight Before Christmas that spawned my ordinary Pippa/magical Hecate idea that i’ll probably never write bc it’s awful. but also. maybe good,

29. If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?

The Language of Tea Leaves by CCNSurvivor, although i don’t know what i would write!! it’s just one of my faves. i already was writing about hecate and her tea obsession before i read this and was like :shook pikachu: when it was brought to my attention

The World Unwraps Itself to You, Again and Again by @nike-sga bc again, one of my faves!! with a different musical maybe? idk if i could do it justice

Illustrator rather than a writer here, but I guess I can still answer?! 😂 I’m currently writing a children’s picture book. Writing through both words and pictures is a really unique challenge and achieving synergy (where words and pictures work in harmony but don’t exactly replicate each other) is cramping my brain at the mo 😅. Great fun though.

Oooh that sounds so cool! What is the story about?? I can only imagine how difficult that is, achieving a balance between text and image. I’m sure you’ll be amazing at it, though!
